Dennis Hof Claims Kardashian Family Cursed Him Lamar Odom’s tragic drug overdose that nearly cost him his life and his physical function thereafter happened only one year ago yesterday…and the owner of the brothel in which it took place suffered a tragic event of his own to mark the occasion. Dennis Hof, the owner of the Love Ranch at which Odom’s overdose took place, lost his $2 million Reno mansion when it burned to the ground on Thursday. The home lit up after a controlled government-run burn got out of control latched onto his home. As Hof told TMZ, he definitely feels like Khloe and her Kardashian sisters put some kind of hex or roots on him after Lamar’s incident. We don’t know if they’re quite THAT powerful, but that timing is definitely suspicious… He also says he’s planning to be living full time on a remote island by this time next year. The Kardashian-Jenner klan have had some serious issues with security recently. With Kim being robbed at gunpoint , security has probably become a top priority for the family. Kendall Jenner has had her fair share of troubles with security. This appears to be thanks to her alleged stalker, Shavaughn McKenzie. Shavaughn is the dude who was following the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star around like a lost puppy. It must have been pretty scary for Jenner, but things came to a head in August when Kendall returned home to find McKenzie waiting for her. Him being there was obviously him crossing the line. He persisted to speak with her, before screaming that he didn’t have a gun. That was enough for Kylie, who proceeded to call the police to deal with him. Why should she feel threatened at her own home? The whole thing is just bizarre and you’d think McKenzie would have known not to go near the young woman’s home. Apparently, he was so obsessed with her when she lived in West Hollywood that he chased her car into oncoming traffic just to get a glimpse of her. That’s some scary stuff and we really feel for Kendall. Just because she’s in the public eye, it does not mean that people have the right to make her fear for her safety. After the incident in August, it was revealed that McKenzie already had a record, so Kendall successfully managed to get a temporary restraining order against him. That temporary restraining order has now been increased to five years . That means McKenzie cannot go within 100 yards of Kendall. Jenner will no doubt be ecstatic. Shavaughn is also in criminal court this week for stalking charges. We’ll keep you updated on how all of that plays out. Kim Kardashian did not show up on Tuesday night for a rather big family event: The Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 12 wrap party. This was very likely due to the trauma of being robbed at gunpoint in Paris just over a week ago, as Kim continues to recover from this heinous, life-altering crime. But the absence was especially notable because rumors of this program’s cancelation continue to persist throughout the Internet. According to the above Life & Style cover, for example, Kim has “walked away” from the series because it places her life in “danger.” This claim likely isn’t true, but the gist of it probably is: Ever since Kardashian saw her life flash before her eyes last week – when she was bound and gagged and believed she was going to be raped – multiple sources have said she will withdraw from the spotlight going forward. So it would make some sense that she’d be hesitant to put her wealth and fame on full display every Sunday night on E!. But still. Kardashian has a contract to appear on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and she makes MILLIONS off the show. We don’t think she’s going anywhere any time soon. Last night, however, Kris Jenner hosted the Season 12 wrap party, with guests posing inside a photo booth throughout the evening. As you can see above and below, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Scott Disick were all on hand… and all having a blast in the wake of Keeping Up with the Kardashians concluding its latest string of episodes. Kim was nowhere to be seen. Does this mean chatter of the cancelation of Keeping Up with the Kardashians is accurate? Again, we doubt it. We know multiple websites have made this claim and we know that Kim has remained off the social media radar entirely ever since last week’s robbery. She lost more than just millions of dollars in jewelry as a result of that incident. In a way, she lost her innocence. She was made acutely aware of certain kinds of people out there and how they can pose a threat both to herself and to her family. It’s easy to see how she’ll never be the same as a result of this confrontation. At the moment, however, Keeping Up with the Kardashians is scheduled to resume airing Season 12 episodes on October 23. All of those installments were filmed several weeks ago, of course, so there will be no mention of Kim’s robbery or any of the fallout. By the time Season 13 starts shooting, Kim will be many months removed from the most frightening six minutes of her life. It’s safe to assume that distance will make it easier for her to appear on the series and, let’s face it, the incident will also give Keeping Up with the Kardashians a lot of fresh material. According to DailyMail , the decision is going to cost the company a LOT of money. The decision could cost the firm $19billion. Experts estimate the axing of the device could cost nearly $17bn in lost sales and Samsung could have to shell out an estimated $2.2billion if every 2.5 million handset produced is refunded at an average cost of $850. ‘Taking our customers’ safety as our highest priority, we have decided to halt sales and production of the Galaxy Note 7,’ the company said. Part of Donald Trump’s taxes were leaked to the N.Y. Times over the weekend, anonymously, casting the real estate mogul in an unflattering light. A glimpse at Trump’s returns from 1995 shows he claimed $916 in losses, and, as a result, may or may not have paid taxes for 18 years. Who sent the returns? One theory centers on his second ex-wife: Maples was the woman with whom the future Republican presidential candidate infamously cheated on his first wife, Ivana, back in 1989. There’s no love lost between them, to put it mildly. The New York Times’ anonymous gift was delivered not on a silver platter, but in a manila envelope with a Trump Tower return address. Why does that implicate Marla? It doesn’t. But she was married to the Donald in 1995 (from 1993-99 to be exact), so these would have been her tax returns as well as his. Then there’s this tidbit: As New York Magazine points out, there’s an arrow on the first page of the document, pointing to Marla Maples’ signature on the document. We know. That proves nothing. However, it has long been speculated that Maples bears some resentment toward the reality TV star. The two have one child, 22-year-old daughter Tiffany Trump, who has publicly supported him during his run for the presidency this year. Marla has long resented Don for not playing a big role in her life, however; Tiffany was raised almost entirely by Marla on the West Coast. Given that the rest of Trump’s adult children are immersed in the family business, and campaign, back in NYC, this theory isn’t far-fetched. Then there’s this tweet from the weekend: Is she cryptically delighting in his misfortune? While it’s true that no one posts comments like that unless they’re looking for some degree of attention, it’s not enough to implicate her. Even if it were Marla, don’t expect her to take any credit. Whomever leaked Trump’s taxes may have just committed a federal offense. We would also be remiss to omit the fact that the three pages of Trump’s 1995 tax return do not show him doing anything illegal, whatsoever. His declaration of a $916 million loss allows him to take advantage of the tax code to avoid paying taxes on profits, legally, for years. It’s not clear at all if he did or did not do this. Moreover, does the fact that Trump lost $916 million in a year hurt his image as a business genius? Or contrarily, does this return bolster that claim? These are questions voters will have to decide.
