Watch now as Shurn drops multiple sizes and gains more and more confidence each step of the way: Woman Films 100-Day Workout Earlier this month, we posted another cool video of a man who recorded one second of one day for one full year.
It is finally official. Following months of speculation and rumors, Bobbi Kristina Brown confirmed online last night: she is married to Nick Gordon. The 20-year old daughter of Whitney Houston relayed the exciting news via a Twitter photo and caption, the former of which depicted her and Gordon’s newly-ringed hands and the latter of which read: “#HappilyMarried. SO #Inlove. If you didn’t get it the first time that is.” Rumors of an engagement between Brown and Gordon have been rampant for awhile. There has been plenty of controversy around the couple as well, considering Gordon was raised by Houston and served as Bobbi’s quasi brother for many years during their formative teenage years. But Bobbi has defended the romance on Twitter, writing in the past that she and Nick are not “real brother and sister, nor is he my adoptive brother. “My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating.” In November, Brown referred to Gordon as her “hubby,” but this is far more formal of a confirmation that they are actually Man and Wife. Following the posting of the above wedding ring pic, Bobbi – who has struggled mightily since her mom passed away and who once compared herself to Jesus Christ – Tweeted: “BIGGGG things in store. I’m so excited ..! We bouta change the world babbbbby! #bringEmOut! #Getready!xO!”
Some surprise wedding proposals go just as planned. Kanye West popped the question to a stunned Kim Kardashian and captured the entire thing on video. Justin Timberlake actually helped initiate this awesome, concert-based proposal. And the guy who broke into his girlfriend’s Pinterest to craft the dream proposal? Genius and romantic! But asking the love of your life to marry you inside a photo booth at the Oklahoma Aquarium can have its drawbacks. As documented here by a woman on Reddit, the good news is that she said yes. The bad/hilarious news is the background chosen for the image that will forever be remembered as the moment this couple got engaged. HA!
Jay Mohr is sorry. He’s very sorry. Really, he’s pretty much groveling at this point. The comedian came under major fire this week after saying in a radio interview that he recent ran into Alyssa Milano at a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards gala and… well… “She’s very tiny, in height… It seems like she had had a baby and said, ‘I don’t really give a sh-t’ … I read it on her gut.” Milano took the high road in her reply (“So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me,” she Tweeted. “Be well and God Bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife.”) and the backlash from members of the Internet has caused Mohr to hastily retreat. “She’s stunning. I mistakenly thought the absurdity of what I was saying would have [been] taken as a joke. #fail,” Mohr wrote today. He then posted a longer apology on his blog: “I will not make excuses for what I said. Although I immediately removed that segment from my podcast, it still doesn’t change the results. I know full well how much words can hurt people, having seen my wife get destroyed by the tabloids, and I am embarrassed that I didn’t think before I spoke. “Sometimes comedians go too far. I went too far. I cannot change what I said, but I can assure you that my heart is broken that I hurt her. I am very sorry.” Milano, once again showing class (and humor!), ended the mini feud on Twitter with: “Apology accepted. (She grunts while aggressively yet cautiously prying off her head-to-toe Spanx). #PassTheCookies”
Miley Cyrus has been vindicated. And a potentially epic feud is over before it ever began. According to Perez Hilton, Cyrus went off to LOVE magazine this month about how she’s “the total package” and the logical choice to take over the “vacuum” created when motherhood does “crap” to Beyonce’s body and that singer falls out of the spotlight. The only problem? Miley has adamantly denied saying any of this. And the publication has now backed her up. “@MileyCyrus never said anything to us about Beyonce,” the magazine Tweeted today. “The quotes were made up and we’re trying to get to the bottom of where this came from. WE ALL LOVE BEYONCE.” And that includes Miley. Since the false story went up, she has been in full denial mode, Tweeting such messages as “That quote people MADE UP about Beyonce just made me lol! Imagine if I said I got ‘the looks and the curves I’m just better!'” She also asked: “How are people allowed to make up s–t & then put quotes around it saying I said that s–t! WTF!!?!” So now one controversy is out of the way for Cyrus at least, but another one is still circulating around the Internet: Is Miley bisexual?
Duck Dynasty‘s Robertson family is launching its own line of camouflage-designed shotguns under their company Duck Commander, according to reports. Duck Commander Guns Duck Commander, founded in 1972 by Phil Robertson and developed into a multi-million enterprise under Willie Robertson, has partnered with gunmaker Mossberg. The company will release nine different models, as well as two semiautomatic rifles and a semiautomatic pistol. Phil and sons will appear in ads for the items. Phil reportedly narrates one of the ads saying, “Do you know what makes me happy ladies and gentlemen? To blow a mallard drake’s head smooth off.” That’s Phil Robertson for you … unfiltered and unafraid to ruffle feathers (or blow them off a bird in a hail of bullets) with his comments or firearms. The website says all the firearms will come with an American flag bandana, a staple of Boss Hog Willie Robertson as any Duck Dynasty fan knows. The company hasn’t announced which stores will be carry the guns, only that shipments to distributors have already start and that prices will start at $500. Though the family’s Duck Commander brand is centered around duck hunting gear, the semi-auto rifles and pistols are not typically used in the sport . The company notes, however, that the pistol can be used for “small game, plinking, target shooting, or clearing cottonmouths out of your duck blind.” Duck Dynasty came under fire recently for Phil Robertson criticizing gays and gay sex and making racially insensitive remarks in the new issue of GQ . After initially suspending him and receiving a barrage of criticism from fans and Robertson supporters, A&E announced that the show will go on, with Phil. Appearing with wife Korie Robertson on Fox News Tuesday night, Willie said the family learned a lot from the controversy , but is excited to be back. Duck Dynasty returns January 15 on A&E, and for better or worse, you can expect that the Robertson clan will continue to unabashedly do its thing.
Miley Cyrus is hitting back after some inflammatory quotes attributed to her were published by Perez Hilton, denying she said anything about Beyonce. The mohawked, tattooed singer covers the March issue of LOVE , and in it, according to Perez, she claimed that she is ready to fill Bey’s shoes. “Beyonce has been a big inspiration to me but she’s been out for such a long time,” Miley allegedly said. “People are always looking for new blood.” “That’s what I bring to the game now, new blood. I got the total package you know, the curves, the rhythm, and the voice. I’m just the best.” “As Beyonce grows in motherhood and all the crap it does to your body, it will create a vacuum for fresh young faces to rise up and no one else can properly fill that void right now.” “I’m the only white female singer that could fill that slot right now and do it right, you know? I’m just the total package, you know?” “All things must start and end and I hope to have the same success as other icons in the game when my run is over. But for now, my run is just starting.” Wow. This would be a potentially awesome celebrity feud if Miley Cyrus really said that, but she’s adamant she did not – and she’s far from happy. Miley ranted on Twitter, putting the fake quote generator on notice: “That quote people MADE UP about Beyonce just made me lol! Imagine if I said I got ‘the looks and the curves I’m just better!’ Bahahahhaha. “How are people allowed to make up s–t & then put quotes around it saying I said that s–t! WTF!!?!” “Don’t worry. getting 2 the bottom of this s–t. making the liar retract the statement. U can cause ALOT of drama but NOT between me & B!” “Thank god I just woke up from this nightmare.” Perez Hilton has not responded to being put on blast, but the alleged quotes aren’t on the LOVE website and the issue itself won’t be out until February. Clearly the Beyonce quotes didn’t originate from Miley, although it’s not clear if Perez BS’d them himself or if he ganked them off another gossip site. It’s possible this was meant to be a goof and some sites took it seriously, or it could’ve been false story deliberately fed to some celebrity outlets. Either way, the singer is not impressed by the stunt. As for the Miley Cyrus bisexual rumors, she hasn’t called those out yet, so … just saying.
