The haters are just motivating me to work harder than ever and stay on DWTS as long as I possibly can.” [Photos: Fame Pictures, WENN.com]
‘ I tried to show her that I could work hard to be with her,’ Jo told MTV News backstage at the VMAs. By Gil Kaufman, with reporting by Rob Markman Lady Gaga as Jo Calderone at the 2011 VMAs Photo: Getty Images You can imagine why Lady Gaga would be a bit pissed. After all, not only did her male alter ego/ pretend boyfriend Jo Calderone air out their relationship woes in an monologue opening the VMAs, but then he shared a kiss with Britney Spears after presenting her Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. “I’m hopin’ that she’ll take me back,” said a clearly emotional Calderone backstage after the show, as he clutched Jo Gaga’s two Moonmen for Best Female Video and Best Video With a Message. “I’m hoping she’s gonna wanna roll around with me again in bed, you know what I’m sayin’?” The pair, who shared the screen in the video for “Yo

My name is Seante. On Justin’s birthday, rumors surfaced that Justin is actually a really rude person. Well, I personally couldn’t believe it. So I decided to do research. I came across this podcast where Justin was promoting his Never Say Never DVD . It seemed as if Justin’s remarks to the interviewer were very snappy and sharp. There was a point that the interviewer said, “I’ve never seen the movie” and Justin commented back was, “How are you going to do an interview with me about my movie and you’ve never seen it? It’s not even that expensive, you can catch a matinee it’s cheaper.” Immediately stopping the video there, I was very upset that the down to earth guy I saw in Never Say Never, wasn’t really down to earth. Taking my anger to Twitter, I tweeted how I feel like I’ve been duped. Saying things like, “I’m done. I’m deleting my Twitter. I no longer Justin Bieber, but I LOVE his music, so I will support his MUSIC only.” Right before I went to delete my Twitter, I sent a tweet to Justin Bieber saying “@justinbieber wow. i guess you’re movie was a lie. you’re not that sweet down to earth person. you’re RUDE.” (I was on Twitter for iPhone, so I couldn’t deactivate right then) I was really hurt, and it wasn’t hard to tell by my tweets. Minutes later, my DM light came on. I don’t know, but I took a while to finally look at it because I kinda had a feeling it was Justin and there it was. A DM from Justin himself saying, “i was not rude…was joking around with them and they took it the wrong way. Their was a delay…i could barely hear them. IM NOT A BAD GUY!” Beliebers knew that he had DMd me because after hours of not following anyone, he followed me. It was 12:07am ON A SCHOOL NIGHT. I really needed to go to bed, but after that, I couldn’t. Anyways, being as stubborn as I am, I immediately tweeted how I got it wrong, but I’m not sorry for anything I said. My mentions were blowing up! A few minutes after Justin DMd me, he tweeted “having mixed feelings on my birthday”. That’s when I started to feel really bad. I know I wasn’t the only one tweeting Justin about being rude, but when I mentioned how Never Say Never was phony, it stuck a cord in him. I started to feel terrible. I just decided to go to bed. When I woke up the next day, I immediately checked my Twitter. The DM light was on again. I was scared to open it, but I did. Being the creeper Justin is, he had been creeping. And four hours later at 4:21am, Justin had creeped my tweets, and DMd me again. It said “u dont need to be sorry. just no im not bsing you. im not changing. i care and im not rude to my fans or others. i try and will always try”. Justin had stopped me from deleting my Twitter. I felt on top of the world. The person that I spent my days supporting, notice ME. Out of 9 million people! I felt important. I felt that Justin cares so much about his fans that he wouldn’t want to lose a single one! I really respected him for that. There’s so many celebrities who say how they care about their fans. But the difference between Justin and them, is that he doesn’t only say that he cares about his fans, he shows it. -@iBieberCheer Here is the original post: My name is Seante. ‘We were all living vicariously through your characters,’ Luda gushes to actor Steven Bauer as Mixtape Daily looks on. By Rob Markman Ludacris and Steven Bauer Photo: MTV News Celebrity Favorites: Ludacris There is no shortage of “Scarface” references in hip-hop. From Brad Jordan ‘s rap moniker to the intro on Jay-Z’s now-classic debut, Reasonable Doubt, rappers have been putting their love for the 1983 film on full display since its release, and the movie’s actors have taken notice. Tony Montana himself, the legendary Al Pacino , expressed his appreciation for the hip-hop community on Tuesday night, right before a Los Angeles party in celebration of the upcoming Blu-ray release of the movie. “They really get it and they understand it, and that’s a great thing. They’ve been very supportive all these years. I think they’ve helped us tremendously,” Pacino told MTV News. And Pacino isn’t alone, as his co-star Steven Bauer, who played Montana’s best friend Manny “Manolo” Ribera, crashed MTV News’ red carpet interview with Ludacris just to introduce himself and show love to the rapper. “You know what? You’re responsible. You and everybody that came before you brought ‘Scarface’ to [the] mainstream,” Bauer told Luda after exchanging pleasantries. “We were dead in the water, we were forgotten and we were lepers.” The film was panned by critics after its theatrical release and the over-the-top violence proved to be too much for mainstream America at the time. But “Scarface” eventually became a cult-classic, and the rap community had a lot to do with it. “We were all living vicariously through your characters,” ‘Cris told Bauer of the flick’s hip-hop appeal. “As the whole rap community, we definitely support.” There was clearly mutual admiration between Luda and Bauer, as the veteran actor jokingly told the MC that he had “ho’s in different area codes,” making a reference to Luda’s 2001 hit single. After the exchange, Luda gushed about his favorite “Scarface” scene. “Say hello to my little friend,” he said, referencing the climactic death scene where Montana’s home is invaded by rival drug lord Alejandro Sosa’s assassins. “That is definitely my best line and best part of the movie, because he just went out in a blaze of glory, man. If you gonna go out, that’s how you go out.” For other artists featured in Mixtape Daily, check out Mixtape Daily Headlines . Related Artists Ludacris
