Maci Bookout-Ryan Edwards Feud Heats Up, Claims More Victims

Ryan Edwards has undergone a lot of changes recently. In just the past six months Edwards has gone to rehab , overcome a life-threatening addiction, gotten married twice (same girl, two separate ceremonies), and launched a concerted effort to become more of a presence in the life of his son, Bentley. Unfortunately, Ryan's relationship with his baby mama, Maci Bookout, hasn't improved along with the rest of his circumstances. In fact, relations between the exes have hit a new rock bottom, and Ryan and Maci aren't the only one suffering for it… 1. Rehabbed Ryan Over the summer, Ryan checked into rehab after becoming addicted to heroin and prescription painkillers. He’s been sober for several months now, but he’s still struggling to regain Maci’s trust. 2. Father’s Day Showdown On a recent episode of Teen Mom 2, Maci brought Bentley to Ryan’s parents house for Father’s Day. The visit did not go smoothly. 3. Custody Battle Brewing? Ryan vaguely threatened Maci with a court battle before she left his parents’ house with Bentley in tow. The scene confirmed what many viewers had feared–the fight over Bentley is soon to get even uglier. 4. A Silver Lining? Ryan supporters were hopeful that his eagerness to fight for increased parental rights was a sign that Edwards would begin taking a more active role in Bentley’s life. As this week’s episode of TM2 showed us, however, that doesn’t appear to be the case. 5. Drug Test Drama Ever since Ryan left rehab, Maci has been clear about what she expects from him as a father. Her trust is understandably shaken, and she wants Edwards to submit to drug testing before he’s permitted to spend time alone with Bentley. On this week’s episode, he appeared reluctant to do so. 6. Teen Mom: The Definitive, Tragically Trashy Tattoo Guide!

If you're a fan of Teen Mom, then you know that many of the people on the show have tattoos. You also know that a lot of the tattoos … well, they aren't that great. Some are poorly done, some are just kind of strange, and some are nightmarish and horrifying and just so completely, unbelievably bad. So steady yourself, perhaps grab some smelling salts and some pearls to clutch, and let's check out all the Teen Mom ink we can get our eyes on! 1. Amber’s Tattoo of Leah Here, let’s just start with the worst of the worst, all right? This is Amber Portwood’s portrait of her daughter, Leah. It’s right on her stomach, it also features a gigantic rose, and it’s not finished. Will she ever get it finished? It’s hard to say. We will ever be able to get this haunting image out of our heads? Unlikely. 2. Choices Since we’re already talking about Amber’s tattoos, she also got this matching tattoo with Matt Baier, back when they first started dating. It reads “vero amore,” which is supposed to be Italian for “true love.” So that’s embarrassing. 3. Speaking of Embarrassing … Matt also has this huge tattoo of Amber’s name right on his forearm. Just right there on his arm where he has to look at it all day, every day. 4. Ugh Matt actually has several tattoos, many of which you can see on his nude book cover. We won’t waste more time on him here, so if you feel the need to look more closely at his naked greasy bod here, then you have our blessing. However, we will say that on his other arm, he has a couple of Chinese characters that he says mean “clean and sober,” but that Teen Mom detectives have actually determined mean “Lisa.” 5. Why Though? As hard as it may be to believe, Matt isn’t the only guy to get Amber Portwood’s name tattooed on his body — Gary Shirley made the exact same mistake. Thankfully he was smart enough (???) to get the tattoo on his shoulder instead of on his forearm though, and he’s since covered up. 6. It’s Gary Time Gary also has a … what is that, a sun? A blob with tentacles? Whatever it is, he’s also got some tattoo right in the middle of his chest, peeking out through all his body hair. View Slideshow

Melissa Rauch: Big Bang Theory Star Opens Up About Miscarriage

In a moving essay published by Glamour today, Big Bang Theory actress Melissa Rauch both announced that she is pregnant and revealed that she suffered a miscarriage. In the candid piece, the 37-year states that she is overjoyed by the prospect of becoming a mom, but continues to struggle with the fear of losing another pregnancy. “Here is the only statement regarding my pregnancy that doesn’t make me feel like a complete fraud: “Melissa is expecting her first child,” Rauch writes. “She is extremely overjoyed, but if she’s being honest, due to the fact that she had a miscarriage the last time she was pregnant, she’s pretty much terrified at the moment that it will happen again.” The actress adds: “She feels weird even announcing this at all, and would rather wait until her child heads off to college to tell anyone, but she figures she should probably share this news before someone sees her waddling around with her mid-section protruding and announces it first.” With humor and admirable frankness, Rauch went on to write that she was filled with conflicting emotions in the months following her first pregnancy, often experiencing pangs of grief when friends would announce that they were starting families. “It’s not that I wasn’t happy for these people, but I would think, ‘Why are these shiny, carefree, fertile women so easily able to do what I cannot?'” She adds: “And then I’d immediately feel guilt and shame for harboring that jealousy—one might call this “the circle of strife.” (A song I imagine is somewhere deep in the extended director’s cut of The Lion King.)” Rauch opens up about the ways in which the loss of an uborn child is unique and requires a unique kind of mourning: “What I realized, though, is that because this kind of loss is not openly talked about nearly as much as it should be, there really is no template for how to process these emotions,” she writes. “You’re not necessarily going to a funeral or taking time off from work to mourn, but that doesn’t change the fact that something precious has been unexpectedly taken from your life.” Rauch concludes the essay with a message of support to other women have endured what she’s endured: “So, to all the women out there who are dealing with fertility issues, have gone through a miscarriage or are going through the pain of it currently, allow me to leave you with this message: You are not alone. Maci Bookout Defends Keeping Son Away From Ryan Edwards: I WILL Protect Bentley!

Now that Ryan Edwards has completed a stint in rehab, Maci Bookout is opening up about her struggle with his well-documented addiction. Specifically, with regard to co-parenting their son. If you watch Teen Mom OG online , you were privy to one of the more surprising and disturbing storylines in recent memory this season. Maci worried repeatedly about Ryan’s drug use, causing tension between herself, his fiance Mackenzie Standifer, and Edwards’ parents. Then, on the finale, Ryan married Mackenzie in a makeshift, parking lot wedding attended only by its officiant and Ryan’s mom and dad. Oh, and Ryan drove high to the wedding .  So high, in fact, that he appeared to nod off behind the wheel, resulting in widespread fan criticism of both Mackenzie and MTV itself. A Teen Mom crew member defended this  with an interesting explanation, but regardless, no one came away from this looking good. Fortunately, the dust has settled a bit since. Ryan is out of rehab, and while Mackenzie and Maci are still feuding  over the finale, Bookout offered a positive update on his condition. “Yeah I knew there was an issue in the past,” Bookout said after watching the disturbing scenes play out like the rest of us this summer. “I didn’t know it was anything like it was.” Also like the rest of us, when Maci learned that the father of her first-born child would be going to rehab, she felt a strong sense of relief. “I felt like a completely different person right away,” she said, adding that he is “where he needs to be” these days after receiving treatment. “I knew the cloud over me, and all of us, was big, dark and heavy, but I just didn’t know how big, dark and heavy it was until it was gone.” Throughout the season, Bookout admits that she received advice from an addiction counselor who advised her to use Bentley as leverage. Surely, she would prefer not to use those words, but if he refused to get help for his obvious drug problem, she felt she had zero choice. As for whether she’s still playing that card? “I’m going to do my best to not discourage him, but also keep my child safe,” Maci said, implying that she’s leaving all options on the table. Clearly, there are unresolved issues between the ex-couple (and his current wife), as this isn’t a situation that can be swept under a rug. On the Teen Mom OG reunion, Mackenzie came out swinging against Bookout, accusing her of being an exploitative enabler basically: “Maci you told me to my face merely days after I had informed you that Ryan was seeking help that you have known about his problem.” Not only did she know, Mackenzie said, but she knew “since November… that was 186 days he could’ve died and still you said nothing.” “You let everyone know that you feared for his life while concurrently exploiting Ryan’s addiction on the show,” Standifer said pointedly. She continued, “Helping Ryan doesn’t mean talking about all of his problems on national television, it means being supportive.” A good partner or co-parent would refrain from “kicking someone down,” she says, and ” respect the privacy we all so graciously deserve .” Bookout called that “ridiculous” and told Standifer she shouldn’t have signed up for a reality show if she wanted more privacy than this. Hopefully, cooler heads prevail going forward and Ryan sticks with his out-patient treatment, for Bentley’s sake and all of theirs as well. Patti Wilkinson to Kendra: Ava London Gave Hank Hand Relief & I’m Gonna Tell the World!

Just when Kendra Wilkinson thought that her husband’s cheating scandal was finally behind them, her own mother is stirring the pot.  Hardcore. Nothing soft about this. Threatening to blow the lid off his affair in a bombshell tell-all, Patti Wilkinson is out to set the record straight … for reasons unknown. In the upcoming season of Kendra On Top, which is apparently still a show that is on the air, the mother-daughter feud begins anew. The older Wilkinson rips the wound open again, as seen in the trailer above, by declaring that she is GOING TO EXPOSE her daughter. K-Dubs is not happy. “You would have to write about Hank and the scandal and me,” Kendra screams. “You can have your family back or you can write this book!” Patti is undeterred by this threat, defiantly telling the reality star that, “First of all, I don’t give a s–t what [Hank] thinks! The truth hurts!” “The truth hurts!” Those familiar with Kendra and Patti Wilkinson know that they’ve had a strained relationship through the years, to say the very least But this? Again, it’s unclear why Patti is hung up on Hank Baskett, Ava London and whatever happened between them, but it looks ugly. Ugly. The celebrity couple survived a brief separation, and three years later, remain together as a family … at least until Patti has her say. This is not the kind of scandal that you move on from easily, assuming what’s reported by celebrity gossip outlets is even half accurate. On Kendra On Top and Marriage Boot Camp, this played out in epic fashion in 2014-15, and Hank could barely hold himself together. There was a memorable (televised, obviously) exchange in which a scorned Kendra asked him once and for all to cop to this infidelity. In graphic, cringe-worthy detail. Did her spouse really receive a hand job from Ava London, a transgender model he discovered and became infatuated with on YouTube? Did Hank try to pay her off afterward, making ATM withdrawals and dropping off cash (which obviously wasn’t enough to make her zip it)? Or, was he looking to smoke some weed with a friend, only to end up being briefly  fondled over his shorts by London  against his will? In an excruciating scene, Kendra made him describe whether or not London’s hand made his way over or  under  his shorts at that moment. Baskett’s non-committal answers made the whole thing even weirder, while  Ava London claimed , in no uncertain terms, that she got him off. And vice versa. Talking mutual orgasms here. London has made this affair sound  very  much like … well, an affair in which bodily fluids were excreted after energetic manual stimulation. Hank has tried to dance around this with varying degrees of effectiveness, clearly feeling guilty about … whatever the hell he achieved. Bottom line: Hank and Ava had some sort of interaction, because if he didn’t know her or never touched her, he would just state this. He never stated this. Nevertheless, whatever he told Kendra on camera and behind closed doors, she found it in her heart (or self interest) to forgive him. She Tweeted that she loves Baskett, she forgives Baskett and that critics should f–k with her and her definition of love at their peril. Deep stuff right there. We’ll see if Patti’s forthcoming memoir threatens that marital tranquility once more, as she seems determined to get her hands dirty (sorry). Jessica Simpson to Haters: Check Out THIS Photo of My Daughter!

Note to Jessica Simpson: You’re right. We’re on your side. But take a chill pill, will ya? On multiple occasions over the past years or so, the singer ( Second Note: Can we still refer to that as Simpson’s job? Discuss! ) has been the victim of some pretty intense mommy-shaming. Multiple Internet users with way too much time on their hands have called Simpson out for what they deemed to be inappropriate photos of her daughter, Maxwell. First, there was the time Simpson shared the following picture of little Maxwell and wrote as a caption to it: “My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they’re like it’s better than yours…” That’s a lyric from a 2003 single by Kelis and the “milkshake” in question is a reference to oral sex. So, yeah. Simpson may have made a mistake then penning this caption. But then Simpson shared another photo of Maxwell and heard it from the online community for no reason at all. In early May, Jessica and husband Eric Johnson threw their daughter a mermaid-themed birthday party. Cute idea, right? The Little Mermaid is a classic Disney movie and children love these imaginary creatures. In celebration of the occasion, Simpson posted the image below on Instagram, simply passing along a family portrait from the gathering: But stupid haters didn’t see it that way. They blasted Simpson for daring to dress Maxwell in such a revealing outfit. No, really… they did! “Parents should never post pictures of their children, especially girls, in swimming attire or underwear,” wrote one critic, who believed she was being helpful by adding: “Perverted predators copy or screen shot the pictures and share them with each other.” Added another: “She’s 5. Put some clothes on her. good grief.” And another: “Kinda sad seeing a 5-year-old posing like that…” Look, if you get sad by seeing a five-year old dressed like a mermaid, well…you’re just a sad person in general. We’re not sure what else to tell you. In response to these idiots, Simpson went ahead this week and doubled down. She shared yet another supposedly “revealing” picture of her toddler, this time showcasing Maxwell riding a scooter while wearing a bikini. and writing as a caption “safety first.” And it’s true: Maxwell is wearing a helmet! Good for her! Good for Simpson and Johnson! Far too many parents out there don’t force their kids to take this precaution when riding a bike or a scooter. But Simpson also included a smiley face emoji with this picture, clearly winking at her followers because she knew she’d receive flak for Maxwell’s swimsuit. And we’re with her; people criticizing a child for wearing a two-piece need to get a life and shut the heck up. Still, we hope this is as far as Simpson goes. She’s made her point. She needs to be done with it now. Because Simpson isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer (see video below… now!) and we could almost see her taking this another step. So before you take a snapshot of your child’s bare butt to keep shoving it down the critics’ throats, Jessica, put the camera down, relax, take pride in your victory and prepare better for your next interview on Ellen. Maci Bookout & Taylor McKinney Enter Marriage Counseling: Are They Headed For Divorce?!

It’s only been eight months since  Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney got married , but it seems the Teen Mom stars’ wedded bliss has already given way to the complexities of life in a blended family under the constant glare of the media magnifying glass. On last night’s episode of Teen Mom: OG , we learned that Maci and Taylor have entered marriage counseling. While that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re having serious relationship troubles, many fans have pointed out that there’s ample reason to believe that Maci and Taylor’s home life is less than ideal. For starters, there’s the revelation that it’s not unusual for  Maci and Taylor to engage in drunken fights off camera . “Obviously, having three kids is catching up to us,” Maci told her friend Keelie in a scene from last night’s installment. “Eighty-five percent of the time, we’re good to go. The rest of the 15 percent, it’s hell. It’s like all of our stress and emotion and everything … we take it out on each other.” Bookout added: “When the cameras leave, we’ll drink and freak out. It’s always like, literally, the smallest things.” Maci didn’t go into specifics about what she meant by “freak out,” but the comment certainly didn’t paint a pretty picture. Fortunately, she and Taylor followed Keelie’s advice and sought counseling. Based on the comments she made to her therapist, it sounds like Maci allows the day-to-day pressures of her hectic life to build up , and then vents her frustrations after her tongue’s been loosened by a few Bud Lights: “All of the little things build up because neither of us ever communicate them,” Bookout told the couple’s counselor. “Then all of a sudden, we’re mad and we don’t even know why we’re mad.” She added: “To be honest with you, he could go the rest of our lives and never tell me ‘thank you’ or ‘you’re awesome.’ Just grab my ass every now and then and give me a kiss.” We’re sure the situation isn’t helped by recent issues involving Maci’s  first baby daddy. Fans learned last week that Ryan Edwards has checked into rehab for unspecified substance abuse issues. Sources close to Maci say she’d been frequently breaking down in tears out of concern for her ex. So Ryan, Maci, and Taylor are all far from out of the woods, but the important thing is that they’re seeking the right kind of help, which considerably improves their chances of working through these issues. Maci Bookout Confesses to Drunken Fights With Taylor McKinney

Teen Mom fans have been obsessing over the life of Maci Bookout more than usual in recent weeks, but most of the rumors and speculation have had to do with Maci’s ex, Ryan Edwards. Maci alleges that Edwards is battling addiction and that she fears for his safety, as he seems to be surrounded by enablers. But a preview for an upcoming episode has some fans arguing that Maci should clean up her own backyard before worrying about Ryan. The clip shows Maci opening up about a different problem in her life, one that she’s kept hidden up to this point. Since she married Taylor McKinney in October of last year, Maci has done a fine job of depicting her life as far more stable than those of her co-stars. It turns out, that portrayal relies heavily on Taylor and Maci’s ability to keep their beer-fueled conflicts off camera. For years now, rumors about Maci drinking heavily (even, allegedly, while pregnant) have plagued the 25-year-old. Aside from mini-controversies over her drinking, Maci has successfully avoided the sort of interpersonal drama that makes the other Teen Moms such divisive figures. So it’s strange that at this point, she would choose confess to boozy blowouts with her husband: “Obviously having three kids is catching up to us,” Maci says in the clip. “Eighty five percent of the time we’re good to go. The 15 percent is hell.” Bookout says she and McKinney do their best to keep that other 15 percent off camera. “All of our stress and emotions we take out on each other,” she says. “When the cameras leave we’ll drink and freak out. It’s always literally the smallest things. It’s such small stuff but it blows up.” Asked if she feels attending couples therapy might help alleviate some of her problems, Madi dejectedly replies: “It’s not going to go away.” This isn’t the first time that fans have been giving reason to believe that Maci is giving a false impression of her life. She seems to be more skilled than her co-stars in terms of presenting her situation as far more stable than it actually is. But even the most carefully-constructed facades tend to crumble in time. Teen Mom OG Recap: The Trust is Just Knot There

Last night on  Teen Mom OG Season 4 Episode 7 , Tyler found out some new intel about Butch, and changed his outlook on life somewhat. How did that help, or hurt, his wife Catelynn? Watch Teen Mom OG Season 4 Episode 7 Online Meanwhile, Farrah questioned her mom’s relationship with her fiancé, and Ryan clashed with Maci about where Bentley spends time. Finally, Amber Portwood tried on wedding dresses, but it was not everything that she thought it would be. Quite the contrary in fact. If you  watch Teen Mom OG online , or read any celebrity gossip all, you know that Amber’s relationship with Matt Baier is … tumultuous. That’s about as nicely as we can put it, too. So perhaps it’s fitting that amid real-time reports that Matt cheated on Amber and failed a lie detector test, we saw this Monday night: Amber, trying on wedding dresses in preparation for what should be the most special day of her life, experiencing serious cold feet. While trying on a wedding gown with her neighbor and friend, Amber reflected to the MTV show’s producers about how far she’s come. No question, she and Matt Baier have gone through a lot already, and from the moment they met (and because of how they met, in part). Beyond the fact that Matt Baier has 7-9 kids (accounts vary), the Teen Mom fanboy previously tried to bang Jenelle Evans and Farrah Abraham .  Yeah. It doesn’t get any less weird with time. To many fans, watching Portwood become unsure if she wants to marry him anymore feels like a long time coming for a reason. Whether this foreshadows the end of Amber and Matt, or whether they will ride this out and defy expectations as they have in the past? Very much unclear. But it doesn’t look good. These two make Farrah Abraham look borderline stable if that’s possible, even as she’s warring with her mother Debra (oh yes, again). Debra is marrying a man whom she barely knows, in Farrah’s mind, and the Teen Mom: OG star has obvious reservations about this. Fortunately, Farrah and Debra found some common ground instead of Farrah telling her mom to f–king die like she sometimes does. They bashed Farrah’s nanny. #Solidarity. Meanwhile, in Michigan, Tyler received a call from his dad, Butch, looking to get in touch with Dr. Drew Pinsky to help him stop relapsing. Dr. Drew, the MTV staple, admirably told Butch to get into a real program, as he never really committed to one after getting out of prison. Given the fact that he took some initiative at least, Tyler is more optimistic about his dad’s recovery and chances to turn things around. After everything he’s going through with Catelynn, the couple could use a little good fortune, and we hope this positive trend continues. It’s remarkable that they’re doing so well, considering. Finally, Ryan Edwards’ family clashed with Maci Bookout when they heard she doesn’t want Bentley sleeping at Jen and Larry‘s anymore. Maci’s take was that her son should stay at his dad’s house instead; Ryan and his fiancee, Mackenzie Standifer , were equally livid though.
