Barbie On Blast: Magazine Director Says Working With Nicki Minaj Was “Hideous Tourture” Because Of Her Diva Antics

“She’s a muhfuggin MONSTER!” Mickey Boardman Says Directing Nicki Minaj Photo Shoot Was Torture It’s no secret that YMCMB goonstress Nicki Minaj is known for being a downright diva and not afraid to piss people off to get what she wants when it comes to her work, but ‘Paper’ magazine editorial director Mickey Boardman recently gave a detailed account of what it was like to deal with the diva first-hand back in 2009. Check out what he had to say below: via Buzz Feed “Nicki Minaj was not fun. The Nicki thing turned out fine in the end, but it was two weeks of hideous torture and [her] walking off shoots. We had hired a photographer who’d shot her before. She liked the pictures, so we got him to shoot her again for the cover a year or two later. The first day of the shoot, she was locked in a room with her hair and makeup team, people whom she picked — she made them put [all her hair/makeup] on, then take it off. She would not let anyone from our team, stylists or photographers, talk to her. She came out and it was a mess. The photographer took some shots and she said, “Let me see.” He [showed her] five frames and she walked off — it was insanity. I had to sign up for AOL Instant Messenger so I could talk to her later, and she hung up on me on AIM. It was a super headache. We were going to do another shoot and then she had to cancel the day before. In the end everything was set up, but she wouldn’t use the stylist that we had. [Eventually] we got it, and the pictures looked great.” While Nicki herself has admitted that she can go angry Babrie on anyone when things don’t go her way, we’re wondering why dude is just now speaking out and it’s been four years since the shoot. Do you think he’s using Nicki’s name and her recent spazz sessions on American Idol to capitalize on his exposure….or is he simply telling the truth? Continue reading

Some Hump Day Handsome: ‘Young & The Restless’ Man Candy Redaric Williams Flexes His Rock Hard Abs For Rolling Out Magazine

New Actor Redaric Williams Covers Rolling Out Magazine The soap opera world just got a fresh new male face with a sun-kissed body and he goes by the name of Redaric Williams. The Detroit-born hard body is the newcomer on the set of the long-running daytime soap opera series “The Young & The Restless,” where he plays the son of former Y&R lovebirds Drucilla (Victoria Rowell) and Malcolm (Shemar Moore). He recently stopped by Rolling Out Magazine to flaunt his chiseled physique, dish details on his new role, and reveal how he feels about being considered Motor City man candy. Check out a few interview excerpts below: On his hometown: Ask him where he’s from and he’ll say Detroit without hesitation even though he moved around a lot as a kid. Still, he was born in Michigan and graduated from high school in the Motor City. “Detroit is my city,” he says with obvious affection. “I have an affinity for Detroit. I always have. Always will. I haven’t been back in years but Detroit is definitely my city.” On his role on “The Young & The Restless” and being compared to Shemar Moore: “I underestimated how huge the soap world is and how diverse the viewing demographic is,” he admits. Some fans who are not feeling Tyler have tried to dismiss Williams as a Shemar Moore wannabe but Williams, who is clear that he is his own man, is flattered by any comparisons, positive and negative, to Moore. “If you compare me to Shemar, I am honored,” he says. “He’s a great guy. He’s doing his thing — stamped, sealed and solidified — and to be able to be mentioned in the same sentence is an honor.” On being considered a sex symbol: “I don’t see myself as that so I don’t think I’d ever be comfortable in something that I don’t see myself as,” he explains, “but I am aware of it and I’m kind of fine with it in the sense that I know that that’s what’s required for what I’m trying to do career-wise.” We certainly look forward to seeing more of Redaric and his abs in around Hollyweird. Ladies, would you hit it? You can peep a few more pics of Redaric on the flip to help you decide…

Family Matters: Will And Jaden Smith Cover New York Magazine, Talk Thoughts On Kardashian-Style Fame Sloring, “Family Secrets”, And After Earth Flick [Photos]

The Fresh Prince and his skinny-jeaned seed talk all things Smith-related Will And Jaden Smith Cover The New Issue Of New York Magazine Via Vulture Will Smith came up with the story for M. Night Shyamalan’s postapocalyptic drama After Earth, which opens May 31, while watching his son Jaden, 14, film The Karate Kid in China. The premise: A father is a best-in-class soldier who crash-lands with his son on a hostile planet Earth a thousand years in the future. The father, wounded, must watch from the sidelines as the son navigates treacherous terrain and fights terrible creatures in order to escape. The parallels to their adventures in Hollywood, Will says, are obvious. The father-son duo covered a lot of ground during the interview, check out some of the excerpt below. Okay. Who would you say is the biggest star in your family? Will and Jaden: [in unison] Willow! (Willow is Jaden’s 12-year-old sister.) Jaden: She just knows who she is, so she just is. Will: She has a magic power in the family. She absolutely demands the most attention, and there’s something really incendiary about a 12-year-old girl who says and does what she wants. “Incendiary” is one way to put it, some would call it piss-poor parenting. Hit the flipper to read more of Will and Jaden had to say in their interview.

Busty Becky Banger Kate Upton Puts Her Best Breast Forward For New VOGUE

Ya favorite bangin’ becky Kate Upton just landing the modeling world’s version of Nirvana. She covers the June 2013 issue of Vogue, making her third appearance on the cover of the high-fashion magazine, her first in the United States. The cover marks Upton’s move from swimsuit model to high-fashion model. And of course her interview and the accompanying shots don’t fail to feature her favorite assets. Peep some excerpts from the interview below, via VOGUE : This year’s Sports Illustrated cover—a shot of her in Antarctica, parka open to reveal a stunning breadth of cleavage—set off a fresh round of “Is she fat?” conversations across the Internet. “It was hard at first,” she admits of hearing such rumblings. “You sit there and you’re like ‘Is something wrong with me?’ ” But she’s learned to ignore her critics—and come to regard her healthy body as a point of pride. “The things that they’re rejecting are things that I can’t change. I can’t change my bra size. They’re natural! I can work out and I can stay healthy and motivated, but I can’t change some things. I really just live my life. I love my body. It’s what God gave me! I feel confident with myself, and if that inspires other women to feel confident with their bodies, great.” It doesn’t hurt, by the way, that Upton has a sense of humor about this subject. She deadpans, “It’s kind of funny to think, Oh, wow, the news is talking about whether I’m fat or not.” Upton has retained a cheerful ambivalence about runway modeling. “I’ve always loved fashion,” she says, “but it’s not what I set out to do.” Hit the flip for more photos and quotes from the interview!
