A handful of radio stations around the country have yanked the Little Big Town single “Girl Crush” because listeners have complained about its content. The track tells the tale of a woman who is jealous of her ex-boyfriend’s new paramour. Little Big Town – “Girl Crush” According to Alana Lynn, radio host at the Boise station 104.3 FM, she received a number of calls and emails accusing her of “promoting the gay agenda” after playing the song, whose lyrics include the following: I want to taste her lips cause they taste like you/I want to drown myself in a bottle of her perfume/I want her long blond hair, I want her magic touch/Yeah cause maybe then, you’d want me just as much. Lynn said listeners have threatened to boycott the station and, as a result, she had to yank the song from her morning lineup. The Washington Post, meanwhile, reports that numerous radio stations across America have pulled the song for similar reasons. Yesterday, we reported that Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are back together after the couple was spotted making out on the American Idol set in plain view of dozens of cast and crew members. The semi-public confirmation that they’re back on came after months of speculation and rumors about Cassie and J-Lo meeting up for secret rendezvous. Now it seems there was no real reconciliation, after all – because Jen and Casper never really broke up. TMZ is reporting that the couple faked their breakup for publicity purposes. Apparently, in the months leading up to the release of Jen’s most latest movie, The Boy Next Door, the studio hoped to sell more tickets by spreading rumors about Lopez dating Ryan Guzman – her co-star in the film. Kelly Osbourne and other stars are reacting to Kathy Griffin quitting Fashion Police yesterday, and the collective response has been nothing but positive. The 54-year-old Griffin announced on Twitter that she is out of the E! series after just seven episodes, as her brand of humor did not fit with the series. Fashion Police has been extremely controversial as of late, which would seemingly make it a perfect fit for a star who courts controversy like Kathy. Not the case, though. While she can certainly be “inappropriate” in her comedy, as she admits, she feels the show goes too far for no reason at all. “I am a freedom-loving female and gay rights activist who loves to find the funny in all people, attitudes, beliefs, and appearances, but only when the context permits intelligent humor.” “My brand of humor, while unrepentant and unafraid, is all about CONTEXT.” “Listen, I am no saint. But I do not want to use my comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference.” She wished the show and its creative team well … but DAMN! Griffin thanked fans who back her efforts to “help women, gay kids, people of color and anyone who feels underrepresented to have a voice and a LAUGH!” Her comments quickly drew praise from her ex-colleague. Kelly Osbourne quit Fashion Police last month as well, and writes, “I could not be more proud of you @kathygriffin you have my love and support always!” The two stars’ departures both come in the wake of Giuliana Rancic bashing Zendaya during the Oscars with a joke many felt was racially charged. Griffin had previously condemned the joke, and Osbourne sought to distance herself from Rancic and the quip even before she bolted the program. Chelsea Handler, another former E! personality, also commended Griffin: “@kathygriffin way to go girl. Stick to your guns. Onwards and sideways. Lub you.” Rosie O’Donnell, Jane Lynch, Ashley Fink, Josh Groban, Aubrey Plaza and many others were equally quick to give Griffin props for her exit from E! The show’s future is far from clear. The next Fashion Police episode is set for March 30, even though only Rancic and Brad Goreski are left on the panel. Is this the end of an era? Maybe Kim Kardashian dyed her hair in hopes that there’s some truth to the theory that blondes have more fun. Because we honestly can’t think of any other way the 34-year-old wife and mom could cram more enjoyment into her life of luxury. For the past week, Kim’s been flaunting her huge boobs and blonde locks in Paris for the semi-annual Fashion Week festivities, and while the French have been going nuts for Mrs. West (as they always do, for some reason) at least one member of her family is unimpressed: A source close to the Kardashians tells Radar Online that eldest sister Kourtney thinks Kim should be spending more time at home with her 20-month-old daughter North, and less time globetrotting with Kanye West. “If you notice, Kourtney and Kim are never together anymore,” says the insider. “Ever since Kim married Kanye, she doesn’t even recognize her sister. Kourtney cannot handle being around Kim.” At previous Fashion Weeks, Kim has been accused of using her daughter as an accessory by dragging North to runway shows and other age-inappropriate activities. Sources have claimed that Kim only brings Nori along in her travels, if she knows there will be photo-ops involved. Kourtney is reportedly wise to the routine and thinks that Kim has her priorities reversed. “Kourtney is a hands-on mom,” says the insider. “Unlike Kim she is actually present in her kids’ lives.
