You think Floyd’s having a bad week? The boxer was a no show for questioning from Manny’s lawyers and the Judge smacked Money-Lovin’ Floyd with the high amount…roughly $133k in legal fees and $774 in costs. Apparently Pacquiao felt Mayweather crossed the line when the fighter accused him of using performance-enhancing drugs. Manny filed in 2009 and has denied the claims since day one. According to ESPN , Pacquiao’s team defended their suit: “Calling a professional athlete a cheater is the most serious charge one can make,” the lawsuit said. “Accusing an athlete of using performance-enhancing drugs — however baseless and lacking in evidence — is toxic.” Floyd got the news while he’s dealing with two other issues: He was caught in a domestic dispute with his ex , (and Mother of one of his daughter’s), Melissa Brim and his Boy arch nemesis 50 Cent has been tweeting pics and boasting about his new collab with Manny Pacquiao! Looks like all that Ego is catching up to this dude. Images via WENN

New video, directed by Peter Berg, premieres at 7:53 p.m. ET on MTV, followed by a Q&A with the band on MTV.com. By James Montgomery, with reporting by Kelly Marino Adam Levine in Maroon 5’s “One More Night” music video Photo: In Maroon 5 ‘s brand-new “One More Night” video, frontman Adam Levine plays a boxer who takes a licking both in and out of the ring. And while one aspect of his performance was all acting (that would be his scenes with actress Minka Kelly), the other was very real indeed. That’s according to “One More Night” director Peter Berg, who sat down with MTV News to talk about the clip ahead of its debut — tonight (June 25) at 7:53 p.m. on MTV as part of “MTV First: Maroon 5” — and made it very clear that Levine pulled no punches during the filming. In fact, he even took a couple punches from one of the best in the business. “Adam Levine learned how to box here, at the world-famous Wild Card Boxing Gym, home of Manny Pacquiao and [trainer] Freddie Roach,” Berg said. “The idea for the video was Adam’s. He called me and said, ‘I wrote this treatment. Would you read it?’ He had this idea, sort of comparing fighting to love, and so I called Freddie, who was a friend of mine, and I said, ‘I need you to train this guy.’ ” “Of course, Freddie was working Manny Pacquiao at the time [for this month’s bout against Tim Bradley], so we had to find one of his trainers, and so we found this great trainer and put him through a 10-day boxing program,” he continued. “And the truth is, this kid is just a natural athlete. He took to it very quickly, and we were able to get into sparring scenarios in the ring. … We had to see how Adam would react to somebody punching him in the face, whether he’d run out screaming and call his bodyguards. But I remember the first time he got cracked in the head, he had a big smile on his face.” Levine definitely wasn’t smiling through his scenes with Kelly, who plays the mother of his newborn child. We won’t spoil how their relationship plays out, but let’s just say she doesn’t think his boxing career is going to succeed anytime soon. Though, as Berg explained, shooting those scenes was about as tough as the “One More Night” video got, because from the first sparring session to the final edit, he was definitely feeling the love on this one. “Minka’s a fan of Maroon 5 and she said she’d do it, and we had a great time shooting the video,” he said. “I was always a Maroon 5 fan, and now they’re in my heart and they’re a part of my family.” Don’t miss the premiere of Maroon 5’s “One More Night” video during “MTV First: Maroon 5” tonight at 7:53 p.m. on MTV, followed by a 30-minute Q&A with the band on MTV.com. In the most anticipated boxing match of the year, Timothy Bradley defeated Manny Pacquiao by split decision last night – and almost everyone who watched it believes the fight was fixed. Pacquiao landed 253 punches to 159 for Bradley, with Compubox statistics proving the former also connected on more punches in 10 of the 12 rounds. The Associated Press had Pacquiao winning 117-111, but that service doesn’t get a vote. Instead, Bradley was named the winner – by a score of 115-113 – on the scorecards of judges Duane Ford and C.J. Ross. “I’ve never been as ashamed of the sport of boxing as I am tonight,” said Bob Arum, who promoted both fighters, soon after the outcome was announced. I went over to Bradley before the decision and he said, `I tried hard but I couldn’t beat the guy.'” Adding fuel to the allegations of foul play? Bradley had printed out a poster for a November 10 rematch prior to this bout, something that would only occur if he defeated Pacquiao. A consensus is building that the judges/Powers That Be in boxing arranged a Bradley victory solely to ensure another big pay-per-view buy in five months. “I’ll make a lot of money off the rematch, but this was outrageous,” Arum said.

Manny Pacquiao is standing by his criticism of same-sex marriage, but denies giving some of the strongly-worded quotes in a recent article about his views. The athlete, regarded by many as the best pound-for-pound boxer on Earth, criticized gay marriage in the wake of President Obama’s recent support of it. Pacquiao DOES NOT, however, believe gay people should be put to death, or treated intolerantly, blaming the media for distorting his take on the subject. Manny has been under scrutiny since the National Conservative Examiner published an interview in which he said that gay marriage is against the will of God. The article includes a reference to Leviticus 20:13, which says gays “must be put to death.” But Pacquiao says he never said that or referenced the verse. The boxer said in a statement, “I didn’t say that, it’s a lie … I didn’t even know that quote from Leviticus because I haven’t read the Book of Leviticus yet.” He also made a point to say, “I’m not against gay people … I have a relative who is also gay. We can’t help it if they were born that way.” “What I’m critical of [sic] are actions that violate the word of God. I only gave out my opinion that same sex marriage is against the law of God.” Gay marriage :
Let’s Get Ready To RUUUUUUUUMBLE! Manny Pacquiao is challenging Floyd Mayweather Jr. to split the giant purse 70 percent to the winner and 30 percent to the loser, if their mega-fight ever takes place. This could possibly be one of the biggest purses in boxing history, even by Las Vegas standards: According to the latest projections this would be boxing’s first $200million bout so the PacMan is upping the ante considerably. Mayweather originally offered Pacquiao a flat $40m on condition that he keeps all the pay-TV money. Pacquiao responded with a guarantee of $55m to Mayweather with them each taking a 50-50 split of the television revenue. No thanks, said Mayweather, who still wants all the extra loot for himself. Pacquiao’s latest call is a challenge, also, to Mayweather’s insistence that he would win easily. If so 70 percent would net Mr Money in the region of $140m. This is a hefty purse but Floyd has had a history of dodging Pac Man. Could it be because the real prize at stake is the holy grail of boxing, the title of greatest pound-for-pound fighter in the world, which Mayweather brags about being without ever fighting Pacquiao? That and Mayweather’s obsession with keeping his undefeated record all the way to retirement? Mayweather calls himself Money. But will he back himself to live up to the nickname?
