You remember Candy . It’s the “first transversal style magazine” that put a vampy James Franco in drag on the cover of their first issue. For their third issue (the second featured male model Luke Worrall done up like Marilyn Monroe) Candy has put their first woman on the cover. It’s Chloe Sevingy as Terry Richardson , and it’s kind of brilliant. She’s got the pose, the clothes, everything is just… Broadcasting platform : Vimeo Source : Fashionista Discovery Date : 02/11/2011 06:57 Number of articles : 2
Earlier I was a little annoyed with this Amy Childs chick for covering up her plump breasts in a silly sweater, so I’m a little happier now that she decided to squeeze into a nice red dress. Sure she’s still hiding her big “talents”, but at least we’re getting a look at her booty I didn’t know existed. Not bad, not bad at all. Now if only she can figure out a way to show them both off simultaneously…. Bikini pictures would work. Send them to me on Twitter for approval. Thanks.
Here are a few shots of super hottie Elisha Cuthbert showing off her sexy little cleavage in a Marilyn Monroe costume in an episode of Happy Endings . I like it, but if you actually watched the show, the premise is that she gets mistaken for a drag queen… Are you frickin’ kidding me? Whoever thought that it was a plausible script idea that this hottie would ever be confused for a dude is out of their mind and needs to be fired. I bet it was a fat chick who’s mad that Elisha ate the last danish from the studio break room or something petty like that. Nice try. more pictures of Elisha Cuthbert here
Some observers are less than impressed that Playboy shelled out a huge (details are vague, but reportedly it was more than $750k and less than $1 million) wad of cash to shoot Lindsay Lohan for their spank mag. Why the big letdown? Lindsay does have bug, bouncy, uhm, eyes after all. Perhaps her long, boozy tenure as a tabloid tart has tarnished some of that Linnocent appeal. Or perhaps it’s just because (depending on who you ask) the Playboy shoot may be non-nude , and we’ve totally seen Lindsay’s love muffins before. In between bottle parties at the Chateau Mormont Lindsay has posed topless for a number of shutterbugs, like Marilyn Monroe photographer Bert Stern, skinfamous pervert Terry Richardson , and of course the ever-present paparazzi. UPDATE: TMZ is now reporting that the Playboy spread WILL be full frontal , and that Lindsay will bare “boobs, ass, and vag”, according to a source close to the magazine. More pics after the jump!
Ex-Fall Out Boy singer and Panic! tourmate tells MTV News his solo project has ‘very punk-rock moments, very Motown moments.’ By Vaughn Trudeau Schoonmaker, with reporting by Matt Elias Patrick Stump Photo: Getty Images Patrick Stump might be known to many as the lead singer of Fall Out Boy , but since the band entered an indefinite hiatus nearly two years ago, Stump has been working to create a big name for himself a solo artist. Currently on tour as the opening act for Panic! At the Disco , Stump is doing just that. “I know a lot of people still haven’t heard me as a solo artist,” Stump told MTV News. “[My current] band and I are starting to get into this groove where it’s like we’ve really proven it to the immediate people around us, so now it’s just going out and taking no prisoners.” Stump has taken the approach of developing a new sound altogether on his first solo studio album, Soul Punk . He said Prince and David Bowie were two of the record’s key influences. “The record itself and the live show: It’s really an up-tempo R&B kind of thing,” Stump said, describing his new approach. “There are some very punk-rock moments, some very Motown moments.” Already closely associated with Panic! At the Disco through Fall Out bandmate Pete Wentz’s efforts at getting them signed in their early days, Stump has seen the pop-punk headliners come a long way. “When I met them, they felt like our little brothers,” Stump said, laughing. “They’ve long since come into their own, and it’s really awesome to get to open for them.” While Stump is out to prove his validity as a solo artist, he knows there is already much to be thankful for: getting to do what he loves most for a living. “I love being a musician,” Stump said, smiling. “I write, and I play, and I think about music all the time. It’s really fun to go into rooms with people who don’t know what to expect.” Will you be checking out the fall Panic! tour with opening act Patrick Stump? Tell us in the comments below! Forbes magazine predicts Cirque du Soleil tribute show ‘Immortal’ will put King of Pop in the lead again next year. By Gil Kaufman Michael Jackson Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage For the second year in a row, Michael Jackson has topped Forbes magazine’s list of top-earning dead celebrities. The King of Pop, who died unexpectedly at age 50 in June 2009, earned an estimated $170 million over the past year, making him the second-highest-earning pop star this year (behind U2) — dead or alive. The megabucks came in from sales of his music, as well as his stake in the lucrative Sony/ATV catalog, and while impressive, was a big step down from the $275 million the Jackson estate earned in the year after the singer’s death. Songwriters who own their work tend to place high on the Forbes list because their catalog sales often remain strong after their death, one of the reasons Jackson’s posthumous career has been so lucrative. The magazine speculated that Jackson is likely to top the list again next year thanks to the recent launch of the Cirque du Soleil tribute show “Immortal,” which, if successful, could net more touring income for the singer in death than he earned in life. In a distant second was the perennial chart-topper in the Forbes tally, Elvis, whose catalog and merchandise sales (not to mention his pricey Cirque show, “Viva Elvis”) helped bring in $55 million from October 2010 to October 2011. Two late Beatles, John Lennon and George Harrison, placed fifth and 13th on the list, respectively, at $12 million and $6 million, also thanks in part to catalog sales and the proceeds from a Las Vegas Cirque show, “Love.” Fifty years after her death, blonde starlet Marilyn Monroe was #3 with $27 million, followed by “Peanuts” cartoonist Charles Schulz. Actress Elizabeth Taylor tied at #5 with Lennon at $12 million, mostly due to the perennially strong sales of her perfumes, just ahead of renowned genius Albert Einstein ($10 million) and Theodor “Dr. Seuss” Geisel ($9 million). Tied at #9 are guitar god Jimi Hendrix, “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” author Stieg Larsson, actor Steve McQueen and songwriter Richard Rodgers ($7 million). Harrison was at #13, tied with pin-up icon Bettie Page and pop-art legend Andy Warhol ($6 million). Related Artists Michael Jackson
Dead people are arguably less productive than you are, but a bunch of them earned between seven and nine figures for doing nothing this year, according to Forbes . Insulted? I understand. But you may be surprised by which screen stars are still banking well after they’ve left the big screen and the planet.
The world premiere of your first feature film — in the hypercritical climes of the New York Film Festival, no less — would be nerve-wracking for any director. But Simon Curtis isn’t any director. He’s a BAFTA – and Emmy-nominated television and stage veteran who’s worked with a who’s who of British acting royalty, a noteworthy group of whom appear in Curtis’s feature debut My Week With Marilyn .
We’ve been following the nude movie Shame for a while here at the Mr. Skin blog- how can you not, when the movie’s stars were spotted engaging in nude exhibitionism high above the busy streets of NYC? Our Skin Skout saw the movie at its North American premiere in Toronto, and reports that it is (sk)indeed a wall-to-wall nudity fest featuring the full frontal debut of An Education star Carey Mulligan . Well, brace yourselves for some public Shame -ing, skin fans, because distributor Fox Searchlight announced on Twitter yesterday that they’ll be releasing Shame in theaters across the United States on December 2, 2011 , thus ensuring a slappy holiday season for Carey’s male fans. No word on ratings, but the film is widely expected to be NC-17 thanks to its graphic sexual content. Members can get An Education in British babe Carey Mulligan right here at MrSkin.com!
Mr. Skin Hall-of-Famer Michelle Williams has never been shy about doing nude scenes. So why use a body double for her nude movie My Week with Marilyn ? Well, there are a couple of reasons. A couple of big, bouncy, buoyant reasons… Meet Emma Glover, the fantastically stacked British model who lent her nude talents to My Week with Marilyn . Emma appears in two scenes in the film, one where “Marilyn” is stepping out of the shower and we see her right breast, and another where she bares butt skinny-dipping. The 24-year-old says that Marilyn is one of her “all-time heroes” and she was more than happy to strip down for the role: “Marilyn is an icon and a legend and one of the sexiest women ever to grace our movie screens. I was chuffed to bits when I was asked to play her,” she told Britain’s Daily Star tabloid, whose pages she has previously graced as a topless model. Emma was so chuffed (that’s “pleased”), in fact, that she didn’t even mind dyeing her naturally dark hair to look more like the skin legend: “I had to dye my hair but I love it- I may even keep it blonde,” she said. Gotta love a girl who’s up for anything! Members can play a rousing round of com-bare and contr-ass with nude pics of Marilyn Monroe right here at MrSkin.com!
