Khloe Kardashian Shoots Down Divorce Chatter

First, Kim Kardashian . Now, Khloe Kardashian. Following her sister shooting down a tabloid’s claim that she stole Eduardo Cruz from Eva Longoria , Khloe has now come out and defended the health and happiness of her marriage, following a Star Magazine story that screams she and Lamar Odom are nearing THE END. The publication quotes an unnamed source that says the “strain” on Khloe and Lamar’s marriage is due to the couple actually spending a lot of time together in Dallas. “They have no absence from each other to make the heart grow fonder,” this insider alleges. “When they were in L.A. and did the show, it was a reward because that is when they would see each other – but now it’s too much.” What say you, Khloe, to this charge? The reality star’s latest Tweets include: Finally! The truth… along with a link to a Kardashian friend calling the accusations “ridiculous” on Gossip Cop. Save the drama for your mama baby! LOL @KhloeDashDolls it shows you how sick people are. They would rather have pain then love… Sad world.

Annette McCullough, High School Soccer Player, Charged With Assault After On-Field Fight

Lewisville (S.C.) High School senior Annette McCullough became the subject of criminal investigation after she brutally attacked a Chester (S.C.) High opponent. During the game. It seemed to come out of nowhere. In the midst of a tightly-fought girls soccer match, McCullough fell after a seemingly innocuous foul … and absolutely lost it: High School Soccer Assault There is no video showcasing prior incidents between these two players, yet McCullough reacted viciously to a relatively minor trip that sent her to the ground. The attack, which you can see above, featured hair pulling, punches being rained down on the Chester player before the melee was broken up. Not just one or two of them, either. She went Jenelle Evans on her. Annette McCullough was immediately sent off with a red card and escorted away from the field. Chester County deputies were called to the scene. McCullough, 18, was charged with simple assault. Alan Parker, referee of the match, made clear that this invoked a sense of violence that made it much more troubling than other soccer skirmishes. “Some incidental contact ended in one girl going down and she just got up and started pummeling,” Parker told WBTV. “It’s unfortunate, it really is.” “Contact is a part of soccer, but when you retaliate like that, obviously, there is no place in the game for that. Occasionally you have players that go at it.” “In this case, though, it was just one girl pummeling the other girl. And not just for a moment, she didn’t stop which is even more egregious.”

George Zimmerman’s Father Speaks Out, Says Trayvon Martin Threatened to Kill Son

George Zimmerman’s father, Robert Zimmerman, says Trayvon Martin threatened to kill his son, then beat him to the point where he had no choice but to defend himself against the 17-year-old in Sanford, Fla., on February 26. The elder Zimmerman spoke, on camera but without showing his face, to Orlando, Fla., TV station WOFL, to share his son’s side of the national story. He claims Trayvon Martin attacked first and may have killed Zimmerman. Robert Zimmerman Interview “It’s my understanding that Trayvon Martin got on top of him and just started beating him,” Robert Zimmerman told WOFL. “Martin said something to the effect of, ‘You’re going to die now’ or ‘You’re going to die tonight.'” “He continued to beat George. At some point, George pulled his pistol … and what he did.” “He was punched in the nose. His nose was broken,” Robert Zimmerman insists . “He was knocked to the concrete. Trayvon Martin got on top of him and started beating him.” “Beating him in the face. In his nose, hitting his head on the concrete.” The comments came just after the George Zimmerman surveillance video , taken at police headquarters the night of Martin’s killing, was released. His hands cuffed, Zimmerman does not appear to have substantial injuries, though the video does not show a close-up of the neighborhood watchman. The video was taken four hours after the incident took place. “The injuries that made it sound as though he really should have been on a stretcher are not apparent in this tape at all,” CNN analyst Marcia Clark said. “He moves freely. He moves fluidly, not like someone who has just been through a beating in any way, shape or form, someone whose head has been pounded on the pavement as hard as described, someone whose nose was broken and bleeding.” “That tells you a great deal.” Zimmerman’s attorney Craig Sonner described the video as “very grainy” on NBC’s Today , noting that Zimmerman had been “cleaned-up” and received first aid care in the hours between the incident and his arrival at the police station.

KKK: Piece Of Isht White Supremacist Hacks Trayvon Martin’s Email Accounts And Leaks Messages

No rest for the dead SMH A white supremacist hacker says he’s broken into Martin’s email and social networking accounts, and leaked his private Facebook messages: The list included login details for Martin’s Gmail, Yahoo, MySpace, and Twitter accounts. A source who came across the 4chan post when it was live was able to use the information to log onto Martin’s Gmail account Tuesday night. Our source panicked upon seeing that trolls had started using the account to send emails under Martin’s name, and deleted the account. (An email sent to Martin’s Gmail address bounced back today; Martin’s Twitter account has also been deactivated. His MySpace page is still up, showing that the last login was Tuesday.) In addition to the Facebook messages, Klanklannon posted a list of usernames and passwords for Martin’s social media and email accounts as proof of his exploits. All of the passwords had been changed to racist slurs. On 4chan, Klanklannon made clear their intention to smear Trayvon. Klanklannon introduces the post with, “Today /pol/, tomorrow CNN.” One 4chan user told us Klanklannon had been attempting to break into Martin’s accounts for days, posting periodic updates to the board. “Where did all the liberals go?,” Klanklannon taunted after posting his slides. “Did they run off because they can’t handle the facts?” But Klanklannon included none of Martin’s emails in his leak, because the picture they paint is of a normal high school junior preparing for college. A screenshot of Trayvon’s Gmail inbox our source provided us is heartbreaking. Martin apparently used his Gmail account for his college search, and it’s filled with emails about upcoming SAT tests and scholarship applications. (“Trayvon, now is the best time to take the SATs!”) One email included the results of a career aptitude test, our source said. It “talked about his interest in aeronautics and stuff.” This low-life scumbag has only proven nothing more than the lengths to which the racist amateur detectives and conservative journalists are willing to go to smear Trayvon Martin’s memory, get a life!!! American Idols Sing Their Idols: Our Song Picks

MTV’s Gil Kaufman and James Montgomery hope the top nine will buck convention and show their age — in a good way. By Gil Kaufman and James Montgomery Jessica Sanchez on “American Idol” Photo: Fox So far this season, the finalists on “American Idol” haven’t done a great job when it comes to song selection. Whether it’s rescuing an obscure hair-metal tune by White Lion from history’s trash heap or stupidly picking the same Adele song in the same week, these kids don’t seem to have the magic touch. That’s why this week’s theme — songs from their idols — is so pregnant with promise. Finally, an opportunity for Heejun , Colton, Jessica, Hollie and the gang to break out of their predictable been-there-done-that-downloaded the-iTunes-single-and-already-deleted-it ballad ghetto. Show producer Nigel Lythgoe has already let slip on Twitter that we can expect to hear “Beyonce, Mariah, Miranda, Lifehouse, Daughtry, Led Zeppelin.” Zzzzzzzzzzz. So we know it’s already set in stone and nobody listens to us anyway (though they totally should), but here is what we would like to hear the top nine sing this week: Colton Dixon The Warped Tour wannabe has already proven his terrible taste in tunes (White Lion, Switchfoot), and we can only assume he’s going to move into the Lifehouse this week. We get the piano thing, but Colton needs to prove his rock bona fides with something uptempo and (relatively) contemporary, since he’s the only guy who has a “look” to speak of. How about the White Stripes’ “Fell in Love With a Girl”? Or Radiohead’s “Creep”? — Gil Kaufman Word on the street — or the Internet — is that he’s going to do a Lifehouse song, which, OK, seems perfectly fitting (anyone who’s read my “Idol” report cards knows how I feel about this guy). But since we’re swinging for the fences here, I’m going to suggest C.Dix go outside his comfort zone and take on Death Cab for Cutie’s “I’ll Follow You Into the Dark.” It’s plenty somber, and it plays directly to his strengths: namely, being kinda wussy and connecting on a deeply soulful plane with his female fans. Imagine the squeals when he keens “Love of mine … ” Or, shoot, maybe he goes super current and does Fun.’s “We Are Young”? — James Montgomery Hollie Cavanagh We get it, Hollie, you are the tiny queen of the gigantic ballad. But what you haven’t done yet is show us some personality. Here’s your chance. Go with an uptempo song that’s fun but isn’t by a singer known just for their soaring vocals. Perhaps Katy Perry’s “Firework”? — Kaufman We know she can sing. We also know that she relies w-a-a-y too heavily on torchy, big-time ballads as a result. So this week, I’m hoping she changes things up a bit, shows some personality and covers a super-pop tune like Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold” or “Part of Me.” Or maybe she splits the difference and does Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way”? She needs to have fun up there, because I get the creeping suspicion that voters might be getting bored with her, which could mean she’s getting dangerously close to elimination. And that would be a shame. — Montgomery DeAndre Brackensick What do you do with this guy? He’s got the falsetto and, apparently, a look that the ladies love, but he’s low on stagecraft and just never seems comfortable in his own skin. There may be no better song for him to tackle than Maxwell’s cloud-chasing falsetto ballad “Prettywings.” It makes him sound now and it’s so in his ballpark, it’s sick. — Kaufman Still waiting on him to have his breakthrough moment (though his hair remains a constant highlight each and every week), and since this week’s theme is apparently “Idols” — and since J.Lo keeps dropping references to it — I’m just going to assume the inevitable: He’s doing a Bob Marley song. But which should he choose? “Three Little Birds” would showcase both his voice and his impressive bobbing skills, though how amazing would it be if he switched things up and did Pete Tosh’s “Legalize It”? Steven Tyler would probably leap onstage and sing it with him. — Montgomery Phillip Phillips Phil’s problem is he’s kind of no fun. He won’t listen to Tommy or Jimmy about clothes or music, and he kind of just turns every song into a Dave Matthews grumble. I could go one of two ways with this guy: either a hushed, not growly ballad by Bon Iver like the Grammy bait “Holocene,” or something fun and light like Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours,” which everyone loves! — Kaufman Another, uh, favorite of mine ( loved what he did on “Movin’ Out,” especially the part where he turned it into an ungodly growl-fest … ), and if you think he’s not doing Dave Matthews tonight, well, then you’ve never watched his feet while he plays. All kidding aside, I’m hoping he goes outside the box, maybe does Nick Drake’s “Pink Moon” or Jeff Buckley’s “Grace.” Neither of those things will actually happen, of course, and according to Nigel Lythgoe’s Twitter account, someone’s doing Daughtry, so it’ll probably be him. It’s definitely in his, uh, zone. So I’ll say he does “What About Now.” — Montgomery Heejun Han Best-case scenario is Hee Han comes out and does a “Weird” Al Yankovic song and just gets it over with. But if the “funny” finalist insists on hanging around, he also needs to break out of ballad jail and go for something a bit faster, but not as jokey as his Billy Joel performance. My pick: Green Day’s “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” — Kaufman I was going to suggest he do the “Nyan Cat” song , since it’s nearly as annoying as he is. But since that seems like a longshot at best (though, with Heejun, you never know), and given the buttery loverman shtick he keeps foisting down our throats each week, I’m thinking he goes R&B. Perhaps Usher’s “U Got It Bad”? D’Angelo’s “Untitled (How Does It Feel)”? Or maybe he goes into full-on Operation Shutdown mode and just cover’s Beck’s “Sexx Laws”? Anything to speed up his inevitable exit. — Montgomery Skylar Laine It’s hard being the only country girl. While the temptation is to break out of that gilded cage, one way spunky Laine can mix it up is by choosing a new classic by an old star. What about the Jack White-produced “Van Lear Rose” by Loretta Lynn done in a bluesy/jazzy style? — Kaufman Gee, I wonder if she’ll do a country tune? Lythgoe hinted on Twitter that someone’s doing a Miranda Lambert song, so I’ll go out a limb and suggest it’ll be her. Which means get ready for a version of “The House That Built Me,” y’all! Other, less inevitable suggestions? Since she got so many Reba comparisons, perhaps “You Lie” or “What If,” or a classy, brassy take on anything from the Patsy Cline songbook (“Crazy”? “I Fall to Pieces”?). — Montgomery Joshua Ledet How Ledet went from being one of the front-runners to a potential also-ran is a mystery to me, but needless to say, he needs to bring it this week. We know he can do church, but can he do something a bit more pop? I say have some fun and do R. Kelly’s “Happy People.” It’s mostly midtempo, but Josh could surely throw some fire into the middle to make it ignite and prove again that he can handle modern music. — Kaufman What to do with Josh? He can sing practically anything, though after a rough couple of weeks, perhaps he needs to get back to basics: Gospel. Maybe he does Kirk Franklin’s “Looking for You”? If he’s looking for something a little more, uh, contemporary, does he dare bring the “Mantasia” thing full-circle and do the fabulous Fantasia’s “I Believe” or “When I See U”? — Montgomery Jessica Sanchez We get it: The tiny girl can blow the roof off the dump. Ballads? Check. After her disastrous “Turn the Beat Around,” J.Sanch needs to show us she can do dance floor as well as prom night. It’s gotta be Rihanna, and I give her a choice: “Only Girl (In the World),” or “We Found Love.” — Kaufman She’s doing Beyonc

Trayvon Martin’s Death Hits Hip-Hop Community Hard

‘His legacy can become something that helps change things,’ Nas tells MTV News of late Florida teen. By Rob Markman, with additional MTV News staff reporting Trayvon Martin Photo: AP The tragic shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin has led to a public outcry for justice, which many feel has not yet begun to be served. The triggerman, 28-year old George Zimmerman, who claims he shot Martin in self-defense, has yet to be arrested or charged with a crime. Demonstrators have taken to the streets , lawmakers have protested on Capitol Hill and even President Obama has spoken out in support of Martin and his family. The hip-hop community has also been vocal about the delicate matter, which has overwhelming racial implications. “It’s something very near and dear to me, because my son is around his age,” Young Jeezy told MTV News last week. “He looks like an innocent kid. I understand the situation as far as dude wanting to be [on] neighborhood watch, but everybody that’s black and young ain’t up to no good.” On February 26, Martin was shot dead by neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman as he walked through a gated Sanford, Florida, community. Zimmerman believed Martin — who was wearing a hooded sweatshirt — looked suspicious, so he called 911. The police dispatcher advised Zimmerman not to pursue the teen, but he reportedly ignored those instructions. By the time police arrived on the scene, Martin was dead. Although Zimmerman admitted to the shooting, police declined to arrest him citing the state’s Stand Your Ground law, which allows a person to kill in cases of self-defense. Mobb Deep’s Prodigy doesn’t understand why local authorities didn’t take Zimmerman into custody. “To me, it’s up to the police department out there in Sanford to handle that the right way,” he said. “They were supposed to arrest him.” “It’s unfortunate any time things like that happen, and I don’t know exactly what the motivation of the man who actually killed him was, but it doesn’t feel positive,” 50 Cent said. For any circumstances when someone’s killed and there’s a person there that we know did it, regardless of their intentions at that point, there’s right and wrong. And I think that it’s obvious who’s wrong in this actual situation.” Over the past week, there have been rallies calling for the arrest of Zimmerman in New York City, Chicago and Trayvon’s native Sanford, Florida. During a March 23 press conference, President Obama said if he had a son “he’d look like Trayvon,” and on Wednesday (March 28), Illinois Congressman Bobby Rush was removed from the House floor after he gave a speech in support of Martin while wearing sunglasses and a hooded sweatshirt in a symbolic show of solidarity. Game believes Trayvon’s death is another example of racial injustice in America. “For some reason, people don’t think that they need any excuse to kill us, beat us, hit us, run us over, disrespect us or anything like that,” he said. “This is just another reminder that stupidity still exists.” Killer Mike took a militant stance, expressing his frustration with the so-called Stand Your Ground law. “If we’re not gonna change the laws, then we have to change our mentality,” he said, urging young black men to arm themselves as long as they operate within the confines of their state’s gun laws. Trying to make sense of a senseless act, Nas hopes that young Trayvon didn’t die in vain. “Maybe he thought in football he’d have a legacy,” Nas reasoned, “but now his legacy can become something that helps change things, hopefully.” Share your condolences for Trayvon Martin’s friends and family in the comments below.
