Over the weekend, 90 Day Fiance star Larissa Dos Santos Lima was arrested for domestic battery against her husband, Colt. After Larissa's panicked messages to fans, sent while locked in her bathroom, many expected that it would be Colt who was arrested. Now that we've heard both sides of the story, we understand a little more of how this arrest went down, and what led to it. Also, this is not Larissa's first arrest in the last five months. It sounds pretty toxic, folks. And parts of this sound a little terrifying. Beware that there are, obviously, some 90 Day Fiance spoilers here. 1. Colt and Larissa Had a Huge Fight We have both sides of their argument 2. Larissa locked herself in a bathroom She issued what looked like a frantic plea to her followers, saying that Colt had taken her phone and encouraging them to message him to reconnect her. 3. She also seemed afraid that he would call the police When the police arrived, it was Larissa who was arrested, not Colt 4. it started with Larissa being upset Apparently, Colt (probably to avoid spoiling 90 Day Fiance) asked her to not interact with him on social media, which she took personally, and went on an Instagram rant about how it was selfish and hurtful. 5. Colt came home with flowers This apparently did not have the intended effect upon Larissa, which she says that Colt took poorly 6. Former Southern Charm villain Ashley Jacobs says that she never wanted to be Kathryn Dennis’ enemy. But Ashley also says that Kathryn isn’t sober and has never been sober, and that her trip to rehab was a publicity stunt. Ashley Jacobs took to Instagram to chat with fans … and she began by sharing that she was asked to return to Southern Charm . (Others, including Patricia Altschul , have suggested that Ashley was never invited back) “They wanted me to film with Eliza Limehouse and one other cast member,” Ashley claims. Ashley even furnishes additional details, writing: “They asked us to film while getting our nails done.” “Kathryn and Eliza do not get along,” Ashley shares. “So it felt like a setup.” Ashley and Kathryn’s feud was a major storyline last season. “My intent is not to hurt her,” Ashley says. Contrary to how it has appeared, Ashley writes: “I have no animosity towards her.” You know how sometimes a discussion seems settled, and then someone texts I just think it’s funny that … That’s what Ashley does here. “But I think it’s wrong to pretend you are sober and to use it as a platform if it’s not true,” Ashley writes. Ashley explains that she objects to Kathryn’s alleged lies because they’re an insult to real sober folks. “There are people that are truly trying to turn their lives around,” Ashley says. She insists that: “It’s not something you lie about.” Ashley, we should probably note, is a registered nurse. People in the medical profession can be particularly sensitive to what addiction can do to people. “Considering [Kathryn]was seen at [Vintage Lounge] and several [other] bars on Saturday night drinking… I think it’s pretty clear,” Ashley concludes. Ashley then doubles down on her insistence that Ashley is not and has not been sober. “She was never sober,” Ashley insists. “Rehab was paid for by Bravo.” “She didn’t complete the program,” Ashley claims. “It was a publicity stunt.” “As soon as she came back to Charleston she was seen drinking at Halls, Vintage, Deco, Republic… the list goes on,” Ashley reports. “She doesn’t try to hide it,” Ashley adds. “In Charleston everyone is aware,” she says to explain that she’s not starting this rumor. “I’m not broadcasting it.” “In Charleston everyone knows,” Ashley repeats. “She just hides it well on social media.” Despite having just put Kathryn on blast and accusing her of being a lying hypocrite as well as an addict, Ashley laments that they’re not friends. “The interesting thing is,” Ashley points out. “She was painted as the villain for several seasons.” Yep. And then, very notably, Kathryn became a much more chill person. “I know she understands what I am going through,” Ashley says. “I wish we could have used the common ground as a foundation for a positive relationship,” Ashley says. If Ashley really did hope to become friends with Kathryn, these comments are not the way to do it. Perhaps she just figures that it’s too late anyway. We have to say that dating Kathryn’s ex who is also her baby daddy was probably not the best way to make a good first impression. Also, no amount of “editing” could make their on-camera interactions last season seem anything but hostile. We know that Ashley has admitted that she did not respond well to being on a realtiy show. (We are also fully aware of the way that Thomas would bait her into getting upset, as was pointed out by the other stars) But ultimately, Ashley chose to have an adversarial relationship with Kathryn. As for Ashley’s accusation against Kathryn … we obviously can’t vouch for them. We can confirm that Ashley tested positive for marijuana (who cares) and cocaine (okay that one’s not ideal) in her system. It was because of that drug test that Thomas got custody of their children. Only this summer did Kathryn start fighting back. While Kathryn has spoken about her sobriety, that word can mean different things to different people. Some people get sober from hard drugs but continue to use marijuana, often as a medicine. Others might do the same but continue to drink alcohol, especially socially. That said, we’re not saying that this is what Kathryn is doing. We’re inclined to take Ashley’s statements with a grain of salt. Prince Williams/ATL Pics.net Michael Williams Charged With Sutton Tennyson’s Murder A man has turned himself in connection with the murder of Angela Simmons’ ex-fiance and father of their son. Michael Shareef Williams – also known as Michael Watson – surrendered to Atlanta Police Wednesday, and has been charged with murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, law enforcement told BOSSIP. Sutton Tennyson was gunned down in his own driveway Nov. 3 after an argument with an unknown person “escalated,” according to police. The suspect then sped off and cops later found him deceased with multiple gunshot wounds. Williams, 44, is being held in the Fulton County Jail and no date has been set for his arraignment, according to jail records. A police spokeswoman said their investigation is ongoing, and Williams’ charges may be upgraded. Meanwhile, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has completed an autopsy of Tennyson’s body, but the results won’t be available for 30 to 60 days, an investigator told BOSSIP. Simmons hasn’t yet commented on the arrest.

Source: FOX / Getty We finally get some good news on tonight’s episode of Empire . Kai, who has been missing in Nigeria for five days at this point, has been found. Jamal cheeses from ear to ear after getting the call with this news and heads to the hospital post haste! It’s obviously a joyous reunion. What ended up happening to Kai was that he and his crew got ambushed but managed to escape. However, it was a journey trying to get back to the US with no money or passport. This is also the moment we discover that Kai has HIV. Kai didn’t kick Cookie and Jamal out of the room when the doctor was giving him his medical run down. One of the things we learn, which clues us in, is that Kai’s viral load was high because he hadn’t been taking his medication (because he couldn’t). Jamal has known about Kai’s status and had been taking the proper precautions to keep himself negative (like taking PrEP , for example), but imagine Cookie’s shock when she discovers this! Jamal tries to explain to Cookie that she shouldn’t be worried, but she’s so shaken up that she goes home and spills the beans to Lucious. Cookie asks Lucious what they should do about this and Lucious surprises us all when he tells her they should mind their business. Cheers to growth. Lucious understands that you can’t keep two determined grown people apart. Cookie, however, is still a bit dense in getting that mainly because she needs to educate herself about HIV and AIDs, which she does, and because she’s just protective of her baby. Hakeem wants to get back with Tiana, and while she’s down for some d, she’s not convinced that she wants to be with him due to his antics and she wants to focus on getting her music career back together. That latter part takes a turn when Tiana presents new music to Kingsley at Empire and he hates it. He’s super rude to her and insults Hakeem . Basically, he wants her to scrap the project and start over. Becky seems to like it and side eyes Kingsley, who doesn’t deal well with managing artists interpersonally very well. The song was dope but the message here is obvious: Kingsley wouldn’t know a hit if he tripped over one while walking down the street. In other news, Lucious has been struggling with Devon. The thing with Devon is, he has the voice and the looks, but his presence, heart, and soul aren’t quite there. Lucious wants him to stop holding back and taps Jamal to come help. Jamal works his magic, of course, and successfully gets Devon ready to make his debut. We’ll get there in a second. Tiana surprise drops that track she did with Blake (the one where Hakeem wrote the lyrics for Blake and then Blake made Tiana promised that the song would stay between them) because she’s pissed off at Kingsley. Hakeem isn’t happy when he hears it because he’s jealous. Hold that thought. Now we’re at Devon’s performance. The audience is feeling him and so is a record label owner that Lucious has been courting. It’s a man that Lucious knows from back in the day and he wants to sign Devon. They got themselves a deal! Blake confronts Tiana about dropping the track because once again, that song was never supposed to come out. Then Tiana says when she “heard what Blake wrote” she just had to drop the track. Hakeem overhears this and gets pissed at the thought that people think that people think Blake wrote it and thinks Blake is trying to take credit. So, Hakeem does what he does, and punches Blake in the face multiple times. It’s also important to note (if you haven’t picked that up by now) that Hakeem also feels like Blake is trying to steal his woman. Blake and Hakeem get to fighting for a sec (it’s a miracle Hakeem is even breathing through this with his collapsed lung situation) and after it’s broken up, Hakeem has a flashback of Tiana in labor. She had a high-risk pregnancy with twins and a rough delivery. Ultimately, she almost died delivering a boy and a girl, and the girl died. They went through a lot of strife, but that doesn’t always mean they should be together. Tiana is tired of Hakeem’s volatile behavior and says she’s done with him. For real, for real. The episode wraps on a high note. Kai proposes to Jamal. He got the ring the moment he got out of the hospital. But guess what? Jamal planned to propose too! So then he gets down on his one knee and they pop the question to each other. Awww…but we’re still stressed out about who tf ends up dying! Officials found 19-year-old Andrew Walker of Westford, Massachusetts dead on the ground after he appeared to have jumped from the fourth floor of an apartment complex on the TCU campus. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner reported that the student appeared to have committed suicide and died from “blunt force trauma from a fall,” Fox News reported . Before this incident, police arrested Walker, along with another student named Christopher Thorne Barksdale, last month on charges of hazing students in the Kappa Sigma fraternity. A pledge was taken to a local hospital after being forced to drink large quantities of alcohol in the process. TCU officials suspended the fraternity following the incident. In addition to the hazing charge, Walker also faced a court appearance later this month for a DWI arrest, according to reports from the Dallas Morning News . University officials commented on the incident in a written statement, saying the following: “Texas Christian University is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of one of our students, Andrew Walker. We are a small campus community and a death among our Horned Frog family wounds us all. We send our heartfelt thoughts, prayers and condolences to the family in this difficult time. Counselors and university ministers stand ready to assist students, faculty and staff who need support in the days and weeks ahead.”
Doctor Accused of Swiping $300K From Patient Then Declaring Her Demented Joanne the Scammer would be proud. A Tennessee doctor has been found guilty of unethical conduct after doling out a fake diagnosis to avoid repaying a six-figure debt owed to one of her patients. According to HuffPost , 79-year-old Dr. Suellen Lee is accused of borrowing a “substantial sum of money,” noted by a government attorney to be somewhere around $300,000, from a patient in support of her medical clinic. However, when the patient asked for a return on her loan, Dr. Lee diagnosed her with dementia, without proper testing or a second opinion. Needless to say, the patient reported the incident and sued. Dr. Lee claims that the patient is lying, however defending herself against the allegation would be more financially costly in the long run. She claims the loan was made more than 20 years ago, and she has been paying back in installments since then. She says the patient set her up and is simply angry that she diagnosed her as demented. E arlier this year it was announced that Henrietta Lacks —a Black woman whose cells were used without her consent to further medical research —would have her painting added to the National Portrait Gallery at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C. Now, Lacks will be honored in another special way. Johns Hopkins University recently shared that it would name one of their campus buildings after Lacks, the Baltimore Sun reported. Johns Hopkins University will name a new interdisciplinary building after Henrietta Lacks, a Baltimore woman whose cells were the basis of research for numerous modern medical breakthroughs. https://t.co/bEqVbpqVdK — The Baltimore Sun (@baltimoresun) October 8, 2018 The Baltimore-based school revealed the news at the Henrietta Lacks Memorial Lecture that’s hosted each year, the news outlet writes. The structure—which will stand on the university’s East Baltimore campus—is slated to open its doors in 2022. “[The building] will be a place that stands as an enduring and powerful testament to a woman who not only was the beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother to generations of the Lacks family, but the genesis of generations of miraculous discoveries that have changed the landscape of modern medicine and that have benefited in truth the much larger family of humanity entirely,” said the university’s president Ronald Daniels . Lacks has complex ties to the university. According to the news outlet, her cells were taken from her without her knowledge while she underwent a medical procedure in the 1950s at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her cells, dubbed “HeLa” cells, were able to live outside of her body and furthered research related to in vitro fertilization and cancer treatments. She ended up passing away due to cervical cancer. Her loved ones are honored that the school decided to name a building after her. “It is a proud day for the Lacks family.
