Not only is Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson completing anger management counseling for head butting his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada , but RadarOnline.com can reveal he’s also taking up yoga. The former NFL player – who was dropped by the Miami Dolphins earlier this year – visited Clear Gardens Yoga Studio in Inglewood, California on Oct 3 in a bid to better his body and mind. “I met him at a local restaurant and approached him about coming to my new yoga class,” studio owner Selena Collins tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “He was so keen, he came to the studio after his meal to check it out, making a special stop even though he was on his way to the airport. He told me, ‘I’ve never done yoga before, but I think it’s something I should do. I’ll definitely be back. “He was really a very cool guy,” said Collins who posed for a photo with Chad. “With everything that is going on in his life at the moment, yoga would be a great way for him to find inner peace and the meditation aspect would be beneficial too. We can’t wait to see him when he is back in Los Angeles.” Johnson – who was sentenced to probation and domestic violence awareness classes after pleading no contest to domestic battery charges last month – has spoken candidly about how he plans to control his anger issues. ‘I’m trying to find out how can I channel my anger when I’m in situations to where I would pop off,’ he said in an interview on Showtime’s Inside the NFL. A man with an American flag painted over his entire face was arrested for drug possession just hours after July 4 in a Florida nightclub, giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “America, the beautiful.” Miami Beach police arrested Eric Oram Butkiewicz, 31, at the club LIV in the Fontainebleau Hotel when security guards informed the authorities he was dealing drugs, Miami NewTimes reports. “I possibly have three Xanax bars in my possession,” he reportedly told the police. The officers subsequently found 13 Xanax pills in his shirt pocket. Butkiewicz was then booked with a felony possession. His arraignment is set for Aug. 3. SMH. We’ve lost another young talented sister too young. Via The Root.com : Erica Kennedy, an author and blogger best known for popular novels Feminista and Bling, has died. She resided in Miami Beach, Florida and was 42 years old at the time of her death, according to a family member. Additional details on the circumstances are not available yet. A former fashion publicist, Kennedy started her writing career as a special correspondent for the New York Daily News. She went on to write about fashion and entertainment for magazines such as Vibe, In Style, Paper and Elle UK, according to her website. In 2004 she published a satire on the high stakes world of hip-hop with her debut novel Bling, which went on to become a New York Times best-seller. Five years later she released her second novel, Feminista, a story about smart, modern women. Fellow author Rebecca Walker interviewed Kennedy for The Root in 2009. Bosh hasn’t really been having the best year ever Miami Heat player Chris Bosh’s masseuse died Monday after she arrived at Bosh’s Miami Beach home and collapsed: According to a Miami Beach police report, the unidentified woman arrived at the Heat player’s North Bay Road home at 10:24 a.m. Monday for a massage session. She looked “well and in good spirits,” but she suddenly passed out around 2:28 p.m. She was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where she died around 11:45 p.m. The report stated a friend told police that the woman survived cancer a year ago. Miami Beach police are investigating. “It doesn’t look like any foul play is suspected at this time,” Detective Vivian Hernandez said. Pray for Chris Bosh and the family of the deceased massage therapist. He’s been simply unlucky this year, maybe winning the chip would be a great ending to all this tragedy and misfortune around him. Nevertheless, Starz, the network who brought you a nonstop barrage of boobage on Spartacus and Boss , is giving Miami a nude boost on its new 1950’s-era gangster series Magic City. Jeffrey Dean Morgan stars as Ike Evans, an outwardly reputable businessman who’s in deep debt to ruthless mob boss Ben Diamond ( Danny Huston ). Ike’s business, the Miramar Playa Hotel, is much like Ike himself: a luxury tourist destination by day, the hotel transforms into a playground for prostitutes and mobsters by night. Bond babe Olga Kurylenko (left, nude in 2006’s Le Serpent ) co-stars as Ike’s sexy ex-showgirl wife, blissfully ignorant of her husband’s dirty double dealings. Starz has released a red-band trailer for the show, which premieres Friday, April 6 with a sneak preview TONIGHT at 11/10 Central , and before the series even starts they’ve already conjured up some magic titties. Working with Swizz Beatz can get you a hit record and a lawsuit. The New York Post reports that the record labels of Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kanye West and will.i.am, amongst others, were not pleased when they learned the participated in a video promo for Megaupload. Apparently it was Swizz, who is listed as Megaupload’s CEO, who convinced the aforementioned artists, including his wife Alicia Keys, to participate in the clip promoting the file storign and sharing service. However, since sites like Megaupload make trading pirated music easy, they have drawn the scorn of the recording industry. Although Megaupload contends the majority of their users use their service legitimately, the Universal Music Group immediately demanded the video (see below) be taken down, citing that its artists performed without permission. Scratch another notch onto the Fontainebleau, the high-rollin’ hotel where Gloria James (allegedly) slapped a valet and where Lil Wayne lost his 305 cred by partying with the Dallas Mavericks after they topped the Heat in the NBA Finals last year. The latest celebrity athlete embroiled in headlines tied to the iconic Miami Beach spot is Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant. Bryant was detained by Miami Beach cops on Sunday after getting into a fight with a “famous rapper” and his posse, Bryant’s mentor tells Dallas’ WFAA this morning. Beach police have no incident reports from the fight, but a source tells a Herald reporter that Lil’ Wayne was involved. The fight happened inside the Fontainebleau’s LIV, the station reports, but details are otherwise sketchy about the altercation. Riptide has requested an incident report from the Beach police — we’ll update this post with more details when we track it down. For now, WFAA reports that Bryant was at LIV on Sunday night when he clashed with the unnamed rapper’s “entourage.” The Dallas Morning News writes that the fight started over someone mocking Bryant about a subpar season and a mounting personal debt crisis. (Bryant was threatened with a lawsuit in December by the Endurance Capital Fund, which claimed the former Oklahoma State star hadn’t paid off a $100,000 loan.) Either way, Bryant’s mentor David Wells tells WFAA that the wide receiver wasn’t arrested in the incident. Damn… Young Money always beefing over financials.
