Miley Cyrus Fans Loved Seeing Her ‘Edgier’ At Live-Stream Show

‘It’s really showing her personality break from Disney,’ fan says after Can’t Be Tamed concert. By Joel Hanek Miley Cyrus performs during her Live-Stream on Monday Photo: Frank Micelotta/ Getty Images Miley Cyrus took over the Internet on Monday night, when MTV live-streamed her live performance of six songs from her new album, Can’t Be Tamed. And though the 17-year-old has been showing off her edgier look and sound, the crowd at Los Angeles’ House of Blues remain stalwart in their fandom. Kelly Rindonde, a fan who traveled all the way from Philadelphia for the show, is enjoying the new Cyrus. “She’s all grown up,” she told MTV News after the show. “She definitely gave us a new side of Miley that was really exciting.” “I like all her new music; it’s really a bit edgier,” Steven Mango agreed. “It’s really showing her personality break from Disney and everything.” Many fans think that her evolution from Disney princess to pop star is indicative that Miley is isn’t going anywhere soon — and her performance even drew comparisons to other established legends. “Her dancing [is] something Michael Jackson would probably be impressed by,” Alex Satlan observed. Tetris Kelly said Cyrus’ performance was reminiscent of another contemporary artist, particularly during a cover that wasn’t aired in the live stream. “By far my favorite moment of the show tonight was when she did ‘I Love Rock ‘n Roll,’ because, to me, it was a tip off to Britney … and that’s why I like Miley. She’s like the new age Britney.” While Miley may be following in Britney’s footsteps by sharing onstage kisses with her fellow female and male dancers, other fans were pleasantly surprised that the singer was not completely uninhibited. “We expected something that was going to be raunchy,” Pam Giannino said. “Everybody’s been putting the hype up, ‘Don’t go to this because she’s going to be provocative.’ It wasn’t. It was pretty awesome. She did a really good job.” What did you think of Miley’s performance on Monday? Share your reviews in the comments. Joe Jackson Blames AEG for Michael’s Death, Too

We know Michael Jackson’s death was tragic and all, but it’s kind of sleazy how his crazy father Joe seems bent on blaming/suing everyone on the planet for it. It’s like he wants to sponge off of his son for attention and/or money, even after the music icon passed away. We’d feel bad implying that if it weren’t obvious. In any case, Joe’s latest beef – he’s already sued Dr. Conrad Murray and blamed Katherine Jackson , his own wife, for Michael’s untimely demise – is with AEG. Murray requested lifesaving equipment and back-up help for Michael from his London concert promoter, Joe claims, but the company never came through . Joe Jackson is gunning for AEG by filing complaints with the California Medical Board and another agency, alleging that the concert promoter abused his son. Joe Jackson is going after Dr. Conrad Murray … and his corporate boss . Days before MJ’s death, Murray had requested a heart resuscitation machine and a nurse in several e-mails making the request, but AEG never provided it. Joe is accusing AEG of co-opting Dr. Conrad Murray’s medical judgment by enticing him with a huge salary, an “unlawful practice of corporate medicine.” Besides the CPR machine, he also asked for saline, catheters, needles and a gurney. The doc, of course, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. Murray is expected to argue that, as an addict used to getting his way, Michael Jackson killed himself with a lethal Propofol injection when he wasn’t looking. That allegation promoted a wrongful death suit from Joe. What will his next move be? Who knows. Just another day in a saga unfolding for nearly a year.

Michael Jackson Video Game Set To Hit Stores By The End Of The Year

Fans can emulate King of Pop’s moves in new dancing and singing game. By Mawuse Ziegbe Michael Jackson Photo: Michel Linssen/Redferns If you’re over checking out the late Michael Jackson ‘s signature moves in old video footage, soon you’ll be able to experience the King of Pop’s swagger in a whole new way. Gaming company Ubisoft has announced that it is launching a video game based on Jackson’s legendary music and performances. The game will be built on MJ’s singular dance style, and players will be able to groove along to mega-hits like “Billie Jean” and “Beat It.” According to a Ubisoft statement posted on MichaelJackson.com , gamers will get the chance to learn and re-create some of Jackson’s dance moves. A Ubisoft rep confirmed to MTV News that while there is no title for the game as of press time, the game should be available later in the year, in time for the holiday season. The company is staying mum on many of the details, but when asked whether the Jackson game would be accompanied by unique gaming hardware like the “Dance Dance Revolution” dance pad or “Rock Band” guitar, the rep told MTV News via e-mail that “the game is based upon performance (so both singing and dancing).” Ubisoft worked with the executors of the Michael Jackson estate in the creation of the game. Estate co-executor John Branca said that fusing gaming with music is consistent with Jackson’s game-changing legacy. “Michael always pushed every limit when it came to technology to give his fans unforgettable entertainment experiences, whether it involved his videos, his recordings or his concerts,” Branca said in the statement. Co-executor John McClain agreed: “This game is a natural extension of what he would be doing today to raise his artistry to even greater heights for his fans of all generations.” The Jackson game will be available for Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360 (with the new Kinect device ), PlayStation 3 with PlayStation Move support and PSP.
