In an interview just after Michael Jackson died, Dr. Conrad Murray told police he had no clue what medications the star had been prescribed by other physicians. Murray also says Jackson never told him he was seeing other doctors – a clue as to how he may present a defense at his ongoing involuntary manslaughter trial. Two days after Jackson’s death, Murray cited Dr. Arnold Klein , a longtime friend of Michael, as a doctor who regularly prescribed MJ drugs behind Murray’s back. Murray, by his own admission, knew this was going on. But to what degree? According to Murray, MJ’s production team complained about the singer’s visits to Klein – insisting Michael’s worst days on set were after he had seen Klein. Those worst days, Dr. Conrad Murray claims, were three times a week. During the taped interview , Murray told police, “When [he] came back [from Klein’s office], he was basically wasted and required 24 hours for recovery.” Murray also claims he saw evidence of doctor-shopping by Jackson – a smattering of prescription pill bottles by his bedside, bearing other doctors’ names. Michael never spoke about it, Murray says. Whether that matters to a jury is unclear, but Murray is trying to say he didn’t know how bad MJ’s condition was. Judge Michael Pastor has already ruled that Klein cannot testify . [Photo: WENN.com]
In their most striking piece of evidence yet, prosecutors showed jurors today an autopsy photo of Michael Jackson, dead and naked, his body lying on gurney. The photo, admitted in Dr. Conrad Murray’s involuntary manslaughter trial, was taken hours after the star died. MJ’s death, as we know, was ruled a homicide. The date on the tiles beside his body reads August 25, 2009. However, Dr. Christopher Rogers claimed the date was a simple error, and should read June 25. This was shown during opening statements. Today’s image is far more graphic . Rogers said it is extremely unlikely Michael Jackson killed himself with a deadly dose of Propofol, as Murray claimed in his opening statement two weeks ago. Jackson’s fingerprints were not found on the medication, but more importantly, says the doctor who did the autopsy, Murray’s defense theory is very unlikely. Follow the jump for the Michael Jackson autopsy photo … Rogers, in his testimony today, said that Dr. Conrad Murray’s description of the final moments leading up to Michael Jackson’s cardiac arrest just doesn’t add up. Murray claims he left for two minutes to go to the bathroom (a timetable his many women seem to contradict as well) and returned to find MJ not breathing. The defense will argue MJ self-administered a lethal dose of Propofol in that time. Rogers says Murray’s scenario – which entails MJ waking up under the influence of heavy sedatives and skillfully administering a deadly dose that would travel to his brain, causing him to stop breathing in two minutes – is impossible. More likely, according to Rogers, is Murray administering several doses of Propofol in the hours leading to Michael’s death without properly measuring them. That would result in an overdose … and likely a prison term if a jury agrees. Dr. Conrad Murray …
I am not into Nicole Richie in any fucking way. I actually think she’s a total waste of space and I really make an effort to not put her pictures on the site. Maybe it has to do with the fact that the one night I was forced into hanging out with her, back in the DJ AM days, she was a snobby little cunt who wouldn’t talk to people who were talking to her because she couldn’t be bothered, luckily being saved by the free booze that distracted me from wanting to spit in her face, I’m A-D-D like that…but I think it’s got more to do with her being adopted. I figure anyone who have parents who don’t want them, you know their actual parents don’t want them, then how could anyone else….kinda thing that leads these adopted kids into addiction… That said, she coulda saved DJ AM but instead here she is mom of 2, boring and dressed like Michael Jackson, her godfather, riding her fake dad’s trust fund he set up for her and possibly showing off some fake tits…and who fucking cares….I guess I do enough to post it…that depresses me.
This week brings Trespass , the latest film from Joel Schumacher. The occasion prompted the opportunity for Movieline to have a candid, wide-ranging chat with the veteran filmmaker about his career, his critics and his humble origins as a costume designer in the 1970s. And despite his glossy new thriller starring Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman, one subject demanded even more attention: The Wiz , the Motown musical directed by Sidney Lumet and written, in his brief, scrappy scribe-for-hire days, by Schumacher.
Cee Lo, Leona Lewis and Christina Aguilera performed , Jennifer Hudson went MIA. Jermaine and Randy staged a boycott, while Michael Jackson’s kids honored him. The Michael Forever tribute concert in Cardiff, Wales, was not without controversy – it wouldn’t be MJ if there weren’t some – but sister La Toya Jackson says in the end, a wonderful night that honored one of the greatest entertainers ever occurred. Here’s an interview with La Toya following the show: La Toya Jackson at the Michael Forever Concert Regarding Paris, Prince and Blanket’s brief appearance on stage, La Toya said they were actually more composed than she, the one trying to set an example. Two of her brothers felt even showing up would set a bad example, given the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray in L.A. Michael’s final words were rehashed Friday.

Beyonce covered Michael Jackson’s classic song “I Wanna Be Where You Are,” for the “Michael Forever” tribute concert at Millenium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on Saturday. The sultry singer wore an afro wig to pay homage to Michael in his younger years. “Watching him I realized exactly what I wanted to be. He inspired me so much. As a matter of fact, the first song I performed with Destiny’s Child was a Jackson 5 song. It’s called ‘Where You Are.’ It’s the song we auditioned to get our recorddeal. It was the beginning of our future. I love you forever, Michael Jackson.” said Bey. Spotted, here . The Michael Jackson tribute concert took place this weekend in Wales where numerous performers were invited and paid to perform. Jennifer Hudson was one of them, but according to TMZ.com pulled a no-show and didn’t even warn the producers! She tweeted that she wouldn’t be attending the show due to “major production issues.” According to a source of TMZ “Hudson is claiming she felt the show’s producers didn’t give her enough time with the music she was supposed to be singing. According to our sources, Jennifer received her music the same time as all the performers.” Click here , for full article. Despite all of the news about people declining Ms. Katherine’s invitation or pulling out of the “Michael Jackson Forever” Tribute Concert, it did actually pull a couple of legitimate stars in the end. A good bulk of them were British, but that kind of makes sense considering where they were. Of course LaToya and The Jackson Brothers took the opportunity to hop in the spotlight and remind people they used to actually do this for a living. And surprisingly enough, Janet was a no show. Flip the page and check out who joined Blanket, Paris, Prince, LaToya, Marlon, Tito and Jermaine Jackson on stage. And while you’re at it, explain to us why poor little Blanket looks SO sad in every single picture…
