New Actor Redaric Williams Covers Rolling Out Magazine The soap opera world just got a fresh new male face with a sun-kissed body and he goes by the name of Redaric Williams. The Detroit-born hard body is the newcomer on the set of the long-running daytime soap opera series “The Young & The Restless,” where he plays the son of former Y&R lovebirds Drucilla (Victoria Rowell) and Malcolm (Shemar Moore). He recently stopped by Rolling Out Magazine to flaunt his chiseled physique, dish details on his new role, and reveal how he feels about being considered Motor City man candy. Check out a few interview excerpts below: On his hometown: Ask him where he’s from and he’ll say Detroit without hesitation even though he moved around a lot as a kid. Still, he was born in Michigan and graduated from high school in the Motor City. “Detroit is my city,” he says with obvious affection. “I have an affinity for Detroit. I always have. Always will. I haven’t been back in years but Detroit is definitely my city.” On his role on “The Young & The Restless” and being compared to Shemar Moore: “I underestimated how huge the soap world is and how diverse the viewing demographic is,” he admits. Some fans who are not feeling Tyler have tried to dismiss Williams as a Shemar Moore wannabe but Williams, who is clear that he is his own man, is flattered by any comparisons, positive and negative, to Moore. “If you compare me to Shemar, I am honored,” he says. “He’s a great guy. He’s doing his thing — stamped, sealed and solidified — and to be able to be mentioned in the same sentence is an honor.” On being considered a sex symbol: “I don’t see myself as that so I don’t think I’d ever be comfortable in something that I don’t see myself as,” he explains, “but I am aware of it and I’m kind of fine with it in the sense that I know that that’s what’s required for what I’m trying to do career-wise.” We certainly look forward to seeing more of Redaric and his abs in around Hollyweird. Pay Yo Bills: Flavor Flav’s Stereotypical Chicken & Ribs Shack Might Be Evicted For Not EVER Paying Their Rent!

“We ’bout to get shut down BOYEEEEEEEEEEE!” – Flavor Flav Flavor Flav’s Chicken & Ribs Restaurant Facing Eviction Over Unpaid Rent This was a dumb-a$$ idea anyway… According to TMZ reports : Flavor Flav’s run as a fast food mogul could be over in a matter of weeks … because the last of his fried chicken joints has been hit with eviction papers … TMZ has learned. Flavor Flav’s Chicken & Ribs in Sterling Heights, MI has been accused of stiffing its landlord out of rent since the day it opened back in December 2012. FYI — FFC&R is the last of 3 fried chicken joints Flav has tried to open in the past few years … one sputtered out in Iowa in 2011 and the other one died a slow painful death in Vegas in 2012. Now, according to court docs obtained by TMZ, the Michigan location is also on the ropes … unless it finds a way to come up with $25,000 (missing rent + late fees + damages). The papers show … FFC&R was late in making its monthly $3,500 monthly rent payment back in Sept and October — and stopped paying altogether in November. The landlord warned Flav’s restaurant about the problem back in January … and just a few weeks ago, went back to the court in hopes a judge will kick Flav to the curb, stat. We called Flav about the crisis … and he told us he had no idea the restaurant was in trouble. But the rapper insists, “I’m gonna figure out what’s going on and get to the bottom of this ASAP!” As if a black rapper owning a chicken & ribs fast food restaurant wasn’t bad enough, but now he’s gettin’ evicted for not paying rent?? Algebra Teacher Arrested For Having Sex With Students Via NewsOne reports: A teacher from the Grand Rapids Public School System in Michigan turned herself in to police Thursday night after being accused of having sex with her students, WZZM 13 reports. Jamila Love Williams, 35, was booked at the The Kent County Jail just before 6 p.m. She was charged with counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct, all of which are felonies. No bond was set. More victims have come forward since Williams was charged, so the algebra teacher could face additional charges. Williams, a teacher at University Prep Academy for four years, was first accused of having sex with two students. The Kent County Prosecutor’s office authorized warrants for four counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct against the teacher. Allegedly, she sexually assaulted two boys–ages 15 and 16–at various locations in Grand Rapids over the past three months. After the police’s investigation into Williams’ conduct became public, more alleged victims have come forward. The prosecutor’s office is reviewing those cases. Michigan Live reports that Williams has confessed to having sex with at least two boys. The 16-year-old victim says he had sex with Williams at his home, a park, her car and other locations. The 15-year-old victim claims he and Williams had sex in her car and even in an allay. Williams has four children, ages 19, 13, 9, and 3, and twin step-children, age 16. Poor thang. Dame Dash has gone from ballin’ to broke . Via NYDailyNews reports : Hip-hop mogul Damon Dash is so deeply in debt that he claims in court documents he faces imminent eviction from a rented mansion in suburban Carmel, N.Y. “I am currently several months behind in paying my personal bills,” he wrote Tuesday in the 5-page filing. “For instance, I am currently over $100,000 behind in rent for the only home in which I live and at risk of being evicted.” Dash lost a pair of multimillion-dollar Tribeca lofts to foreclosure in 2010, with $7.3 million left on the massive mortgages. An acrimonious 2004 split with his old pal initially netted Dash a $20 million windfall — but eventually left the 42-year-old facing hard financial times. Failed business deals, huge tax debts and repeated legal battles quickly left his deep pockets almost empty. Court records show Dash lost a slew of lawsuits filed by landlords, fashion designer Charlotte Ronson and a celebrity bodyguard firm. And pass-the-buck Dash claimed one business, dubbed “Fresh to Death,” was submarined by a “poor business decision made by my partners.” It was unclear what the business, named for a trademark Dash quote, actually did. In addition to his foreclosed homes, his leased SUV was seized in 2008 after he missed his $714.99 monthly payment. According to his court filing, Dash faces possible criminal prosecution for non-payment of taxes in New Jersey. Documents indicate Dash also owes more than $2 million in taxes to New York state, and he conceded owing federal income taxes. Yet a September 2011 article portrayed Dash as still living large, describing his Carmel home as equipped with a full music studio, a pool, hardwood floors and a spectacular view. In a sworn statement asking a judge not to garnish his wages, Dash disclosed: – He pays $24,000 every three months to his ex-wife, fashion designer Rachel Roy, for child support of their two kids, and to cover money owed on the lofts. – New York state forces Dash to send another $4,341.10 per month for support of his son, Christian. – He paid nearly $20,000 in garnished wages in late 2012 for other debts. – And he faces a pending $40,000 tax payment for business earnings. The drumbeat of debt has “made it not only nearly impossible for me to maintain my businesses, they have caused me to fall far behind on my personal expenses,” Dash wrote. He was in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday to fight a charge of ignoring a 2008 lawsuit from a garment industry lender seeking payback for a $237,078 loan. While Dash declined to discuss his finances, he flashed cell phone shots of art galleries he owns in Charleston, S.C., and Hong Kong. “I’m an independent businessman and this is what comes from business,” Dash said in an email from his attorney, Gregg A. Pinto. “I have the guts to fight my battles on my own and it’s entertainment to everybody else because I’m so cool about it.” SMH. Swirl ain’t winning right now for poor Lilit. Just days after popping her gut full of Reggie , baby mama Lilit Avagyan has been left all alone to fend for herself and her newborn seed. Via US Weekly reports : Back to work for new dad Reggie Bush! After welcoming his first child, a baby girl, with fiancee Lilit Avagyan on Monday, May 6 in L.A., the Detroit Lions running back is already back in Michigan working out with his team. In a blog post on the Detroit Lions’ website posted Wednesday, May 8, Bush, 28, said he left L.A. the day after his daughter’s birth to return to his team, but will fly back to L.A. for the weekend to be with his family. “Leaving yesterday was very tough. I’ve been looking at baby pictures the whole time since I’ve been back,” he said. “It was tough to leave, but I can’t wait to get back — I’m going back tomorrow after workouts.” “Each week I’ll be here Monday through Thursday with the team, and I’ll fly back Thursday afternoon. I’ll be home with my fiancee and the baby until Sunday, then I’ll fly back,” he explained of his travel plans. Bush signed with the Detroit Lions in March 2013. Flying back and forth between L.A. and Detroit may be rough, but the new dad says his teammates have been very supportive. “Everybody seems pretty cool,” he said. “I wasn’t surprised, but I was just pleased with how supportive everyone was of, obviously, me missing time and being back home to have a baby.” The NFL player and Avagyan, a 25-year-old dancer, have been dating for about a year and a half. Bush, who previously dated Kim Kardashian for several years, said in an earlier blog post that the pregnancy “couldn’t have come with a better person.” The shade @ Reggie talking about the pregnancy couldn’t have come with a better person! We’re glad he’s doing what he needs to do to bring home the bacon but wouldn’t it have made more sense to set up a home in Michigan for the whole family so she could have given birth there and he wouldn’t have to keep commuting back and forth during the season? So, this is what it takes to have a issue with Kate Upton photos . PETA has set its annoying sights on the model after seeing pictures of her posing for a Harper’s Bazaar spread titled “The Animal Nursey.” It features the absurdly attractive 20-year old surrounded by such critters as a baby tiger, a leopard, a gibbon and a lion. Railed PETA in a statement: “We’re sure that Kate, like most people, doesn’t know that wild animals used for photo shoots have been taken away from their mothers at birth and deprived of everything that is natural and important to them. The gibbon featured in the photographs is an infant and should be with his mother at all times. “Besides the emotional trauma that he has undoubtedly suffered as a result of the separation, his delicate immune system is still developing, and he is susceptible to illnesses that humans carry. “All the animals in the photographs are endangered and should be protected, rather than being treated like props.” Miami’s Zoological Wildlife Foundation provided the gibbon in question, however, and a spokesperson tells E! : “Our animal our not taught to do tricks. They simply are raised with dignity, much love and respect. PETA’s comment about them being ‘ripped off their mothers from the wild’ is at best ludicrous.” Moreover, it’s clear at least one one unusual animal is a fan of Upton: Wolverine point guard Spike Albrecht Tweeted at the Michigan native yesterday!

University of Michigan point guard Spike Albrecht came off the bench during last night’s national title game to drop four three-pointers and score 17 points… in the first half! And even though his team lost to Louisville, the freshman’s confidence remained sky-high this morning, as he sent out a Tweet to the best looking fan in attendance at the Georgia Dome: Kate Upton! Does Albrecht actually have a shot at seeing Kate Upton nude ? The supermodel is a native of Michigan. And she has been rumored to have affection for both sports and teams from that state, with previous reports linking her to Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander . But Albrecht will need to duplicate his title game heroics numerous times next season to have a chance with this blonde bombshell. He only averaged 1.8 points per contest during the regular season and, while we admire his Twitter game today, Upton won’t be going for any athlete without some real game going forward.

Woman Stabbed 54 Times, Culprit Convicted of Murder in 15 Minutes

Lashon T. Hollman, a 21-year old from Saginaw, Michigan, was convicted of first-degree murder yesterday by a jury that needed only 15 minutes to deliberate. Hollman was standing trial on charges that he broke into the apartment of his neighbor, Cassandra Nelson, on February 1, 2012 – and proceeded to drop a television set on her head before stabbing her 54 times. After a week and a half of testimony, the jury convicted Hollman on counts of premeditated murder, torture, and carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent. Hollman – who initially denied all involvement in the incident –  lowered his head and cried when the jury’s verdict was read. The first-degree murder and felony murder charges carry with them mandatory penalties of life in prison without the possibility of parole. He will be sentenced on May 9.
