I have to admit, I loved Rambo 4 . It was an over-the-top violent throwback to the ridiculous ’80s action movies of my youth. That’s why I got excited when trailers for Stallone’s next movie, The Expendables , hit the internet. If you haven’t been following, The Expendables follows a group of mercenaries on a quest to blow things up, kill lots of bad guys and rescue… ah, really, who cares? This movie is filled with more testosterone than any other movie ever made. Just look at the cast: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzeneggor, Steve Austin, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo, Bruce Willis, Terry Crews and Randy Couture. Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz has reportedly signed up to star in new movie The War Of The Gods . The 25-year-old actor – best known as vampire Emmett Cullen in the Twilight films – will play the sea god Poseidon in Universal’s upcoming action epic. According to Variety , the film’s plot centers on a clash between men, gods and Titans in ancient Greece. Tarsem Singh will direct the movie, while The Wrestler star Mickey Rourke and Slumdog Millionaire beauty Freida Pinto round out the cast.

This won’t come as any surprise to someone that has seen Kellan Lutz with his shirt off , but the actor is a Greek god. The 25-year-old Twilight Saga star has nabbed a role in War of the Gods. In the film, he’ll appear opposite Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke and Freida Pinto. Lutz will portray Poseidon, lord of the sea, as the movie tells the story of a young warrior who leads his men into battle with Greek gods as they go up against the Titans. What’s at stake? Only all of mankind. Filming gets underway in April. And fear not: it won’t interfere with Kellan’s commitments to return for Breaking Dawn .
