Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton gave another hint this week as to when the world will greet the royal baby. Not that the heir(ess) cares what she thinks. Kate told onlooker Rachel Sawyer that she is due “around mid-July, but apparently babies have their own agenda.” Indeed. As for what they’ll name him/her? “We have a short list for both but it’s very difficult.” “My friends keep texting me boy and girl names.” Accompanying Prince William on a visit to Glasgow, the royal (known in Scotland by the title Countess of Strathearn) charmed her audience of well-wishers. Sawyer asked when the mom-to-be, who had a tough early pregnancy, would be able to put her feet up and relax. Replied Kate Middleton : “around June time.” What should she name the royal baby? Kate Middleton Will Be a "Great Mum," Uncle Gary Promises

Appearances can be deceiving when it comes to celebrities. Not in Kate Middleton’s case, however. She’s the very best! At least according to her uncle Gary Goldsmith , who tells Hello! that his niece is just as sweet, smart, and smitten with Prince William as she seems in public. “She is so kind-hearted, a beautiful girl inside and out,” IT recruitment millionaire Goldsmith said. “I think that is the Kate people are seeing and the Kate I know.” “She is this confident, clever, caring girl who takes responsibility seriously. I think everyone thinks she’s sincere, in love, and doing her job to the best of her ability.” “She is incredibly grounded,” he adds of Kate Middleton . “Kate’s going to make a brilliant mum… You couldn’t want for a better kid than her, and that’s going to shine through with her as a parent as well.” Goldsmith, the younger brother of Kate and Pippa Middleton ‘s mother, Carole, also has kind words for his niece’s husband, the Duke of Cambridge himself. Recalling the first time he met Prince William at a family supper back in 2006, the Duchess’ uncle says he knew he was seeing something special. “When I saw them together, you actually thought, even if he wasn’t going to be the King, they’d make a great couple,” he says. “They were very, very good together.” “[William] was so relaxed in his own skin, but he does try very hard to be a real gentleman. He leaves an impact on you. He was incredibly charming and engaging.” “You know as a couple they will make it work as best they can.” Somehow we’re not surprised. They do seem pretty great.

Kate Middleton: Hoping For a Boy?

Dressed for the occasion, Kate Middleton attended a St. Patrick’s Day parade at the Aldershot Barracks in England Sunday, honoring the 1st Battalion Irish Guards. The fashionable mom-to-be, who attended with hubby Prince William, (sham) rocked a green Emilia Wickstead dress coat, a black hat and Emmy black pumps. Despite previous reports that Kate is expecting a girl , she was seen chatting with soldiers and dishing on which gender she and Prince William were hoping for. “I asked her ‘do you know if it’s a girl or boy’, and she said ‘not yet’,” one soldier said, according to reports. “She said ‘I’d like to have a boy and William would like a girl’.” “Seems like that’s always the way , right?” We don’t know, but that’s cute if so. Kate Middleton Nose: Plastic Surgery Best-Seller!

Kate Middleton’s nose has become popular in the U.S. With women looking to undergo plastic surgery, that is. The New York Daily News recently highlighted a sudden surge in women asking for the Duchess’ nose. Says Dr. Stephen Greenberg of Manhattan: “It has become so popular that we have made a file of a dozen Kate Middleton pictures to show patients when they come in for their consultation.” The doctor has said that he already has 20 women scheduled to get plastic surgery in the next month, with each paying about $7,000 for the work. Lenox Hill Hospital’s Dr. Thomas Romo told the Daily News, “Women, especially over the age of 28, want the nose of a woman who is regal, refined and strong.” Kate’s nose is also natural-looking, which is key, as “they certainly don’t want the scooped out, upturned, over-affected, pinched nose of a pop star.” Apparently Kate Middleton’s nose has a feminine look, with a cute upturn at the end, and is in perfect proportion to her face, according to facial experts. According to ABC News, one woman, Jessica Blaier, wanted so desperately to look like Kate that she took one of her favorite photos of the Duchess’ nose . According to the report, Blaier paid $12,000 to have plastic surgery so that she could basically have Kate Middleton’s nose moulded on her face. Blaier, 21, later explained in an interview with Good Morning America , “Every time she smiled I was like ‘Wow! I want my nose to be like that’.” Possibly a little extreme, Jessica. But we’ll grant you that as celebrity noses (along with most other body parts) go, Kate ranks in the top tier!

When a wellwisher gave the former Kate Middleton a teddy bear during a rare public appearance Tuesday, one woman in the crowd said she heard Kate respond: “Thank you, I will take that for my d…” before she broke off her comments. That reported exchange was enough for Britain’s tabloids to trumpet “It’s a girl” in Wednesday’s papers. Sandra Cook, who was standing near Kate, told reporters that she asked Kate if she had been about to say, ‘daughter’ and was told at first that the royal couple did not know and then that the couple would not reveal the child’s gender. Kate Middleton: Nervous About Giving Birth!

Kate Middleton is understandably nervous about giving birth to her first child … which pretty much proves she’s not a personality-less breeder , right? The Duchess of Cambridge spoke frankly with fellow expectant moms during a visit to London’s Hope House, Action on Addiction on Tuesday. In Middleton’s first official event following her babymoon in Mustique, she talked about her pregnancy with two recovering women in an art therapy class. One woman at the rehabilitation center, 28-year-old Natalie, is currently expecting her second child, which is due this July, like Prince William’s wife. “She was saying she had been unwell but is feeling better now and I have been about the same. We were all talking about children ,” said Natalie of their chat. Recovering alcoholic Lisa, a mother of three, asked Middleton the obvious. “I asked her if she was nervous about having a child and she said ‘it would be unnatural if I wasn’t. It’s just human, isn’t it?'” Lisa told reporters of her chat. Needless to say, Kate Middleton and her baby bump won them over. “I said congratulations and good luck and I hope it all goes okay. And she smiled. It was that nice she just chatted to us,” said another woman she met with.

Royal baby on board! Make way for the heir(ess)! Kate Middleton made her second official appearance since announcing her pregnancy, visiting women recovering from addiction at Hope House in London. Check out her adorable little baby bump below: The 31-year-old brunette is fresh off her babymoon in Mustique – a trip that became notable for the controversial, bikini-clad Kate Middleton baby bump photos . Today, Prince William’s wife looked tanned, healthy and glowing in a MaxMara dress. “It’s lovely to be here,” she said after arriving around 11:30 a.m. Middleton’s public outing comes just after English novelist Hilary Mantel attacked the Duchess as a “shop window mannequin” with a “plastic smile.” The author also described the mom-to-be as a “painfully thin” woman “without quirks, without oddities, without the risk of the emergence of character.” Nick Barton, chief executive of Action on Addiction, which runs Hope House, said the author was entirely wrong to label the Duchess as a “breeder.” “I can only speak of what I know, and having met the Duchess of Cambridge several times I find her to be engaging, natural and genuinely interested,” he said. “You can tell a lot about someone from the questions they ask and she asks really good questions, the questions of someone who wants to learn.” “Having her as Patron of draws attention to the cause … she is doing an enormous amount to reduce the stigma and increase understanding of addiction.” “She is also an intelligent woman.” Indeed. And not everyone’s a hater. Far from it. In fact, Kate and Prince William were recently named the Most Inspiring Couple of 2013 in a UK poll.

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for: The Pregnant Kate Middleton gave the masses their first-ever glimpse of her baby bump this weekend. Well, kind of. The always-glowing Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in West London, donning a chic gray tartan Zara cape and showing her noticeably fuller figure. Some might even claim they saw a baby bump on this cold day, although from the side angle captured by celebrity gossip photographers, it’s hard to say. Take a look after the jump … Yeah. The bump is in the eye of the beholder, or something. Kate Middleton, baby bump or not, shopped in black leggings and brown boots, stopping at a local footwear boutique and appearing to be in good spirits. Prince William’s wife has been making shopping her duty as of late. Kate Middleton was seen browsing maternity clothes in London last week and eyeing workout gear from Sweaty Betty at Selfridges department store. Stay healthy and happy, Kate!
