Feel Safe? This Little Boy Has Been Strip-Searched For Your Protection

This video has already gone around the world and back, but it is worth posting here to emphasize that this whole absurd TSA controversy has come about because of the government's refusal to admit the nature of the threat. If the TSA, and the DHS, and the State Department, and all the rest of them, acknowledged the reality of the Islamic jihad against the U.S. instead of ignoring and denying it, it would be possible to formulate some sensible screening policies. That is the easy solution to this problem, and one that will never be adopted. As I wrote here, the TSA wastes “huge amounts of time, money, and resources by pretending that everyone is an equal threat to launch a terror attack — Baptist grandmothers in wheelchairs just as much as young Pakistani Muslim males. The only answer at this point, and even it is not perfect, would be to institute Israeli-style profiling of air passengers. The Israelis have run an efficient and terror-attack-free air service for years, without all these invasive security measures. But to emulate them, of course, would mean to recognize in an official way that Muslims are a greater risk to commit terror attacks than Methodists or Mennonites. And in today's politically correct environment, the Obama Administration and the TSA would rather see another jihad mass-murder of American citizens on the scale of 9/11 or worse than do anything to suggest that.” added by: crystalman

The Two-Party Oligarchy Vs. The People

Watching Democrats complain about Republicans and Republicans complain about Democrats is like watching two Neanderthals throw rocks at each other while a pack of lions surround them. Dear Independent Media, Stop Contributing to Our Demise, It’s Time to Evolve! Independent news sites are excellent sources for in-depth information on many vital political issues. Most of them work hard to get the facts right and provide much needed context to move our national debate forward. However, they have a fatal flaw. There is a rule of war that many Independent media outlets are failing to understand: “Do not fight the last war.” In The 33 Strategies of War, Robert Greene calls this “The Guerrilla-War-Of-The-Mind Strategy.” “What most often weighs you down and brings you misery is the past, in the form of unnecessary attachments, repetitions of tired formulas, and the memory of old victories and defeats. You must consciously wage war against the past and force yourself to react to the present moment. Be ruthless on yourself; do not repeat the same tired methods.” When Progressive news sites complain about Republicans, or Conservative sites complain about Democrats, I can’t help but think that they are insuring their own demise, and the rest of the country’s for that matter. By buying into the Democrat versus Republican charade they have become the most important cog in suppressing any organized resistance. Based on personal experience, I understand how difficult it is for Independent news organizations to obtain funding. Unfortunately, most of the more popular “Independent” news sites survive by getting grants and donations from foundations and political organizations that will only fund them if they engage in partisan politics. However, they need to ask themselves a serious question: Are you doing this work to just collect a paycheck, and thereby maintain the very status quo that you appear to be against, or are you doing this to actually change the dire situation we find ourselves in? Given your deep understanding of current political issues, I find it incredibly hard to believe that you don’t see how global corporate interests have completely bought off both political parties. How betrayed do you have to be before you realize that both parties are against you? Our country has been robbed. Our future prospects are bleak. Trillions of dollars have been looted from the economy and no one in our government is holding the thieves accountable – Obama is not, the Democrats are not and the Republicans are not. They are all pivotal accomplices in the continued rape of our country. So stop deluding yourself into believing that only the opposing party is to blame. Focusing on one party as the source of our problems is journalistically lazy and intellectually na

More from Capri Anderson: Death Threats, Cocaine Snorting, $20,000 Payoff Alleged

In an interview that will air on ABC’s Nightline this evening, Capri Anderson says Charlie Sheen wrapped his hands around her neck and used many racial slurs. But that’s far from all. The porn star admitted to George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America today that she was offered $3,500 to be Charlie Sheen’s escort on October 25. Insisting this money was for her company, not her vagina, Anderson was joined by her lawyer and said she plans to sue Sheen for battery and false imprisonment. Why didn’t Capri initially tell police about lamps being thrown her way and death threats being issued, two of the allegations she elaborates on during the interview? Watch her answer in this video and decide whether or not she’s credible: Capri Anderson on GMA Anderson claims she was sitting on a coffee table in Sheen’s hotel room when the Two and a Half Men star began “snorting a white powdery substance.” Was she there willingly? Was there a bit of romance? Yes and yes. But then Sheen “started throwing things. He threw a lamp. That was the first thing he picked up. And he threw it across the room at me… I became very shocked, scared.” But why did Capri call a friend, instead of the cops, after locking herself in the bathroom following this incident? She says she was in shock, “crying and embarrassed.” Anderson added that Sheen called the next day after offered money for her silence (“He apologized for his behavior and the entire evening, I guess,” she says). Reports indicate the amount offered was $20,000. While many aspects of this story are curious, attorney Keith Davidson summed it up thusly: “There’s certain things that no one can deny about that evening. One person was brought away from that hospital against their will, and it was Mr. Sheen.”

Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday: A Cheat Sheet

Young Money mic-ripper’s hotly anticipated major-label debut is finally available for the Barbie army. By Mawuse Ziegbe Nicki Minaj Photo: WireImage Zealous shoppers may plan to shut down malls on Black Friday, but Nicki Minaj’s buzzed-about debut, Pink Friday, is expected to shut down the hip-hop game. The Young Money empress’ major-label effort is one of the most hotly anticipated debuts in recent rap history due to a perfect storm of blue-chip co-signs, jaw-dropping features, a high-profile femcee scuffle and Minaj’s status as one of the most unique characters in music. Within the span of a few short but super-packed years, Minaj rose from a sassy chick from Queens cluttering street mixtapes and viral videos with her “Ether”-worthy lyricism to a bewigged tour de force to be reckoned with. Her razor-sharp bars on “The Come Up” DVD series and the landmark Beam Me Up Scotty mixtape demonstrated her undeniable mic skills, but it was her alignment with both Atlanta sensation Gucci Mane and Young Money boss Lil Wayne that positioned her as a potential game-changer. “Wayne is my sensei. That’s what I call him. He calls me his ninja. ‘Ninja Nicki,’ ” Minaj told MTV News in 2009. It wasn’t long before she was getting the stamp of approval from another superstar Carter. The Jay-Z nod led to a collabo with crooner Robin Thicke, and soon she was playing dress-up with Mariah Carey in the “Up Out My Face” video and stealing the scene on posse cuts like Ludacris’ “My Chick Bad” . The femcee spent the better part of 2010 establishing herself as the collabo queen, adding an extra dose of kink to Usher’s “Lil’ Freak,” shaking up the remix of Diddy-Dirty Money’s “Hello Good Morning” and swinging around Trey Songz’s steamy “Bottoms Up” video . Rick Ross enthused that the raptress’ contribution to Kanye West’s “Monster” proved that “she’s one of the greatest.” But she didn’t neglect to further the Minaj movement with her hotly anticipated solo debut track “Massive Attack.” Minaj also didn’t shy away from the avant garde in her first visual either, cruising down a desert road in a pink Lamborghini with sheared siren Amber Rose in tow and writhing in a jungle with emerald-green locks to the synthy clicks of the Sean Garrett-assisted joint. “I kinda always like to do things in an unexpected fashion,” Minaj told MTV News on set. “I didn’t want to shoot the typical new-artist vision.” “Attack” set the precedent for Minaj’s staunchly atypical videos, like the #1 hit follow-up “Your Love,” in which the MC battles for the heart of her samurai lover in a stylized forest filled with billowing curtains. Like the Annie Lennox-sampling “Your Love,” Minaj’s joint “Check It Out” resurrected another pop jam, the Buggles’ “Video Killed the Radio Star,” and introduced fans to multiple futuristic copies of the MC and her Black Eyed Peas collaborator will.i.am. Although she was always seemingly game to hop on a feature, Minaj put the creation of her debut first, even dropping out of Rihanna’s Last Girl on Earth Tour in April to focus on the effort. Months before she pulled out of the trek, Minaj told MTV News that she didn’t want to throw together a slap-dash album with establishing her star power as a female rapper. “With the album, just like with my mixtape, I never like to rush it,” she said in February . “With the album, I think it’s more important that people get accustomed to seeing a female rapper again. Before I drop an album, people need to come out and see. People don’t even know what a female rapper does. We’re so not used to seeing it. It’s nonexistent in categories. We don’t get nominated. I need to work [the people] up to accepting a female rapper again and accepting my style and all of that — then the album will come.” And just as she wanted it, Minaj nabbed the accolades before releasing her debut. Even before the album hit shelves — or had a title — she racked up awards for her stacks of hit collabos, including an MTV Video Music Award nod for Best New Artist and an MTV News Hottest Breakthrough MC nomination and a BET Award . By early August, the lyricist maintained that “the album is progressing miraculously.” “It’s been very exciting to finally just make music that I love and not really having to incorporate myself on someone else’s record,” Minaj said . “I’ve been having a really great time.” Despite the major hype surrounding her forthcoming release, the pink-haired diva did admit to once being afraid to “put out an album for fear of failure.” However, an outright flop would be especially surprising in light of the chart-topping success of many of Minaj’s solo joints and the instant buzz that cropped up around Friday cuts like the Eminem team-up “Roman’s Revenge.” Minaj’s outsize fame is not the result of just her music. Her zany-yet-seductive persona and membership in the hitmaking Young Money camp are also factors in her ability to corral a hard-core Barbie army. There’s also the sometimes-flirtatious relationship with and short-lived e-marriage to Toronto heartthrob Drake , which has captivated fans. She’s carved out a signature fashion sense that swings from vampy to streetwise to loopy. And unlike most of her peers, she has skyrocketed to hip-hop fame as a woman; a journey that has its own unique set of challenges. Since the summer, Brooklyn lyricist Lil’ Kim has been accusing Minaj of jacking her style and refusing to lace the “Crush on You” spitter with the appropriate amount of props. The back-and-forth between the two has played out in interviews and on wax, with Minaj, who has still never directly addressed Kim by name, getting increasingly aggressive and suggesting that certain lyrics on “Revenge” could be aimed at the Queen Bee. Despite the drama, fans have been amped for the debut LP from the first female rapper to make MTV News’ Hottest MCs list . Fans will also get a chance to delve deeper into the star’s personal life in the forthcoming documentary “Nicki Minaj: My Time Now,” which follows the lyricist as she records her album and grapples with her newfound fame, which premieres Sunday, November 28, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, just days after Pink Friday finally lands in stores. ‘Love And Other Drugs’ Stars Say The Story ‘Trumps’ The Nudity

‘I think us taking off our clothes in the movie is the result of us knowing that we cared about the story,’ Jake Gyllenhaal tells MTV News. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal Photo: MTV News Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway may claim that there isn’t that much nudity in their new romance/drama “Love and Other Drugs,” in which Gyllenhaal plays playboy Viagra sales rep Jamie who falls for Hathaway’s free-spirited Maggie, but given the publicity surrounding it — as well as their scantily clad Entertainment Weekly covers this week — we think there’s more to the story. When MTV News caught up with the playful co-stars, we asked them if they realized how much they would eventually have to talk about getting nekkid. “I really didn’t,” Gyllenhaal insisted. “I really, honestly did not think about that at all.” “I didn’t either,” Hathaway added. “Because when you make a film, you don’t know what the film is going to be or how much of what you shot is going to be in it, and so to anticipate a reaction is kind of fruitless.” “Plus, maybe I’m a little naive in thinking that the story trumps all the little naked presence,” Gyllenhaal offered. “There’s not that much nudity,” Hathaway insisted. “I saw the film the other night, and we’d been talking to journalists for a couple weeks at that point, and when I saw it, I’m like, ‘Why is everyone going on about this?’ It’s really such a small part of the film,” she said. “It’s almost like the media is conditioned to think of this as being a very big deal. I don’t think it’s a big deal, so I didn’t anticipate anyone else doing so.” Gyllenhaal did admit that he and Hathaway strip down throughout the film, but that it really shouldn’t be the focal point. “We are naked a lot, that is for sure. I don’t want to play it down either,” he said. “We are naked a lot more than you normally see in movies, but I think us taking off our clothes in the movie is the result of us knowing that we cared about the story and the story is important to us. The talk about being naked or having clothes off or how racy the scenes are, no matter how much we talk about it, we know what we’ve done we’re really proud of.” “I just do it for the money,” Hathaway joked. “I don’t care about the story.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Love and Other Drugs.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Lil Wayne Collaborators Partners-N-Crime Building Buzz Beyond Bayou

New Orleans duo talk to Mixtape Daily about linking up with Lil Wayne, YMCMB crew as they prep Legendary LP. By Jayson Rodriguez Partners In Crime Photo: NOLA Fire Starter: Partners-N-Crime OK, so these guys might not exactly be new jacks, but Partners-N-Crime are still on the come up. After building an extensive catalog and collaborations with the likes of Lil Wayne, the New Orleans duo are expanding their fanbase. Riding the wave of their new banger “Finally Could Breathe,” featuring Young Money president Mack Maine, Kango Slim and Mista Meana are currently hard at work on their 10th project, Legendary, set to drop next year. It’s an effort they once would have been hard pressed to put together, when their camps warring with each other years ago. “When we were coming up in the game, Wayne was a little bit younger than us,” Slim told Mixtape Daily. “We were on a label at the time called Big Boy and he was with Cash Money Records. And to be honest, both of the labels had a rivalry thing going on. Once Cash Money blew, Big Boy continued to do their thing. They housed Mystikal, Fiend, us, and a couple more artists. At one time, we never looked eye to eye, but as we grew older things began to change.” Wayne helped break the ice when he reached out to the underground vets a couple of years ago offering to record a track together. (The group was also, at one point, signed to former Cash Money member Juvenile’s label.) Partners-N-Crime sent Weezy something they were working on, a rockish number called “We Do What We Want To,” which eventually landed on their last set, We Are Legend. The superstar MC liked what he heard and contributed a verse. (“This was a little bit before he got into the same type of music with Rebirth, ” Meana recalled.) The result was a raucous anthem that helped to push PNC beyond their bayou borders. Before finishing up their Legendary collection, the group is next scheduled to perform at BAM’s 2010 Next Wave Festival in Brooklyn, New York, as part of the Red Hot + New Orleans lineup. Rick Ross Responds To Young Jeezy Taunts

‘If you really have an issue, put it on the table and handle it like a G,’ Miami Don says after Jeezy dis video surfaces online. By Alvin Blanco Rick Ross Photo: Moses Robinson/ Getty Images Rick Ross and Young Jeezy and are not on the best of terms. The two heavyweight rappers, who happen to be Def Jam labelmates, have been immersed in a war of words for months now and the tension seems to be boiling over. The latest in the Ross vs. Jeezy imbroglio was triggered after video surfaced on the Net showing Young Jeezy saying sly remarks about his rival after a performance in Miami. In the footage Jeezy is seen walking the streets of MIA with an entourage in tow. Asked how he feels “about the Rick Ross thing,” the Atlanta MC sarcastically responds, “Where is your favorite rapper at? I don’t see that n—a.” Moments later, Jeezy pulls his shirt up to reveal he has a gun on his waistband. Although he never names the Miami rapper by name, it’s easy to infer the jabs are directed at Ross. The Teflon Don MC was recently in the U.K., where he visited the BBC’s Tim Westwood , and the topic of Jeezy’s rant came up. “Man, I actually got to see the footage of him walking on South Beach, down Collins Ave. and … Yeah, he played himself,” Ross said. “You gotta come across the bridge to Carol City to Lil Haiti, that’s where you get your issues. I mean, Washington Ave.? Give me a break, baby.” Ross continued, “What’s crazy about that is, as you can see on that same footage, when they asked about my name, they still don’t really have a direct answer, and that ain’t gangster at all. If you really have an issue, put it on the table and handle it like a G.” The two rappers have at times downplayed any beef between them. Rick Ross’ anthemic summer hit “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast)” name-checks Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory on its chorus. (The leader of the infamous Black Mafia Family, or BMF, Flenory is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence.) But Jeezy’s association with BMF pre-dates his rise to hip-hop prominence. And there was speculation that Ross’ track didn’t sit well with Jeezy, who in turn dropped “Death B4 Dishonor,” widely believed to be a shot at Ross. Jeezy, however, denied it was a dis track. The two MCs are no strangers to rap beef — Jeezy has previously sparred with Gucci Mane, and Ross with 50 Cent. What do you make of the tension between Jeezy and Ross? Katy Perry’s Tits in Latex For BBC Radio 1 Bullshit of the Day

Katy Perry wears latex outfits cuz it is the only material strong enough to keep her gunt in and make her titties pop…that’s one of the reasons why shit is sold in sex shops and is considered “fetish” gear….the other reason is that dudes like the way their cum drips off it…something I’ve never quite ever cared about…but this one dude I know did enough to save up his money to buy one of this dresses to keep in his closet that he’d insist girls he brought wear…since he was paying them they’d do it…crackwhores don’t care about disgusting…but when I walked in on him wearing it….I realized the fetish had gone too far…the same feeling I have for Katy Perry’s career….and now her bullshit relationship to a homosexual for publicity cuz all dudes from England are gay…if they weren’t they wouldn’t have that faggy accent….that statement may be false, but Russell Brand just fuckin irritates me…but unfortunately for us…Katy Perry’s tits don’t…so with all my hating comes something positive about her…and as much as it hurts me to say that…her tits make it all ok.
