My Chemical Romance Celebrate Danger Days’ Release Live From L.A.

Album-release concert will stream live on MTV.com starting at 10 p.m. ET tonight! By James Montgomery My Chemical Romance’s Frank Iero and Gerard Way Photo: MTV News HOLLYWOOD — My Chemical Romance went to the brink and back to make their new album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. So, as you can probably imagine, on Monday (November 22) — the day Killjoys hit stores — they were in the mood to celebrate. And how did they go about doing that? By buying their album, of course. “Me and Mikey [Way] went and bought it earlier today,” guitarist Frank Iero laughed. “It’s kind of a tradition.” And with their very own copies of the album in hand, MCR headed over to the House of Blues on Sunset Boulevard, where they’ll throw a rather raucous album-release party — they set up a carnival and everything — and play a sold-out show for their fanatical MCRmy. (You can watch it too: My Chemical Romance’s “Live From L.A.: Killjoys Make Some Noise” will stream live on MTV.com beginning at 10 p.m. ET.) Outside the building, the mood was already electric, as fans lined up around the block to rush the stage. And inside, the mood was about the same: Guitar techs mashed out chords, stage hands hoisted MCR’s massive “Killjoys” American flag to the rafters, and the guys in the band, well, they were practically buzzing with excitement. They’ve already tested Danger Days out on audiences in Europe and the U.K., but on Monday night, they’ll debut the songs for fans here in the States. And they couldn’t wait to get up on the stage and let it rip. “Usually, there’s an awkward period right before you release a new record … but on this record, or at least these tours, there’s been no awkwardness,” Iero said. “It feels like the material has a place, and there’s an innate feeling where it’s like, ‘Man, it feels like I’ve known this all along.’ ” It’s a feeling MCR haven’t had in a while. They’ve made it through the hard part, and now, rejuvenated by a brand-new album and a renewed sense of purpose, they’re ready to share that feeling with their fans. “It really feels like freedom. I feel like a totally different individual up there, I feel like I’m really myself,” frontman Gerard Way beamed. “I feel like I don’t have a giant sandbag on my back. I feel like, it’s like pulling a mask [off] and showing somebody who you really are. It’s like getting rid of your secret identity.” My Chemical Romance’s “Live From LA: Killjoys Make Some Noise” will stream live on MTV.com beginning at 10 p.m. ET. Open the floodgates! It’s Mega-Release Week, with Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, Ne-Yo, Ke$ha, My Chemical Romance and Lloyd Banks all dropping new albums. Caprice Drops Some Big Old Cleavage

I’m not exactly sure who Caprice is, I’m going to go ahead and assume that she’s a busty glamour model probably popular in England or Germany or something like that. Whoever she is, I’ve been in the mood for a cougar with her boobs hanging out for quite some time now so these pictures showed up at just the right time. Spray tanned old cleavage is just good for everybody if you ask me.

Kanye West Drops ‘G.O.O.D. Friday’

Kid Cudi, Common, Big Sean, Pusha T and Charlie Wilson are all featured on new track. By Shaheem Reid Kanye West Photo: Gabriela Maj/ Getty Images They still haven’t made an official announcement, but for all intents and purposes, can we just acknowledge that Pusha T is at least part of Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music family? Several weeks ago, Push danced around the subject , saying, “I mean, you know, I been to Hawaii. Hawaii is a nice place. Good music is made down there, ya know? So, yeah, I was there. I can’t say too much about that. I think everybody’s gonna be in for a big surprise. A very big surprise.” On Friday (September 10), Mr. West dropped the latest offering from his G.O.O.D. Friday movement, also called “G.O.O.D Friday.” The song features Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Common, Charlie Wilson and … Pusha T. “As ‘Ye flips the piano, the mood swings like the change of a channel,” Pusha raps on the record. “He’s heating up like they wrapped him in flannel. Selling kilos through your iPod Nano.” Cudi sings, “I know the city getting ready for me,” while Common is also right in pocket with lyrics such as: “I’m in thinker mode/ Eyes load, I let the sky hold the thoughts.” Common and West exchange bars at the beginning. Big Sean talks about his exploits with some fast women. Aside from the new song, there was also that Pharrell co-sign of Push heading to ‘Ye’s label . “I think that’s gonna be amazing,” Pharrell said. “[Pusha] had been working with ‘Ye. I told him, ‘You should do that.’ We made a lot of great records together, and we’ll continue to make great records. I want him to grow and get other experiences out in the world. He’s gotta figure that out. He’s gotta go out there and see it. Make no mistake, lyrically, that kid is one of the greats — him and his brother. Lyrically, those guys are really serious. They’re well-respected by all of the good dudes. Jay-Z loves them, T.I., Jeezy loves them. All of your favorite rappers, they appreciate a Pusha line or a Malice line. They do. I’m saying with respect for all those artists — I work with those artists. I know the conversations we had. They like what they do. It’s been a long time coming for Pusha and what it is he’s trying to do. He’s gonna get it. And Malice too.” Oh, and Kanye shouted Pusha out onstage during his remarkable Rosewood private show in New York last month. Enough evidence for you? Vida Guerra’s Sweet Little Bikini Booty

I’ve been kind of in the mood for a vacation where I can sit around the swim up pool bar somewhere in the Caribbean, enjoy a few dozen watered down drinks without having to get up to go to the bathroom and stare at hot chicks in their bikinis. That’s not going to happen anytime soon, so these shots of Vida Guerra’s hot little ass in a bikini hanging out poolside will have to do for now. Maybe I’ll print these out and eyeball them while I sit in the tub. It’s just not the same.

Jessica Alba Finally Gets My Attention

Today has been a day filled with all kinds of celebrity bikini pictures, so I’m a little disappointed with Jessica Alba for ruining the flow I had going over the last few posts. I guess showing up to the premiere of her crappy new movie in a bikini wouldn’t really fit the mood, but it might get her a little more attention. I know it would get mine. Anyhow, it’s nice to see her dressed in something other than her boring mom uniform or period pants. more pictures of Jessica Alba here

Joe Jonas Gushes About Filming ‘Hot In Cleveland’ Cameo With Betty White

‘Watching Betty White knit is just so adorable,’ he tells MTV News. By Kara Warner Joe Jonas Photo: MTV News Somewhere in between preparing for and launching the current Jonas Brothers tour and starring in Disney’s “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” Joe Jonas found the time to do a guest spot on TV Land’s new hit, “Hot in Cleveland.” MTV News was invited to visit the set recently to catch a glimpse of the middle Jonas in action. In the episode, which airs Wednesday night (August 11), Jonas’ character comes to visit his newly transplanted mom, played by Valerie Bertinelli. In the scene we watched, mother and son sit down to reconnect at a restaurant, and Jonas plays the “typical aloof teen” to a T — he is texting friends throughout the conversation, despite his mom’s attempts to capture his attention. When we caught up with the 20-year-old between takes, Jonas said despite having prior sitcom work in his own TV series “JONAS” on the Disney Channel, work on the “Cleveland” set was a completely new experience. “We don’t have a live audience,” he said of the major difference. “And I’m hanging out with some amazing actresses. They are just incredible. Everyone on the set is just so talented. I’m playing Valerie’s son, and I’m having a lot of fun. We rehearsed, and we just shot our first scene together, so hopefully it will look all right.” Asked if TV veteran Bertinelli or co-stars Wendy Malick, Jane Leeves and Betty White had imparted any advice, Jonas said he was just trying to soak up everything from the actresses. “Just being around them, they are so talented that you just learn so much from them so quickly,” he said. “And hanging out with them and watching Betty White knit is just so adorable, so I’m having a great time.” Speaking of White, we threw Jonas a curveball by asking: If Joe could be any Golden Girl, which one would he be? “Betty, of course. Rose, yes,” he said. “It’s kinda an odd question to ask which Golden Girl I would be, but my favorite would just have to be Betty, because I know her now.” Will you check out Joe Jonas’ guest-starring role on “Hot in Cleveland”? ‘Scott Pilgrim’ Stars On Learning To Play Music Like Rock Stars

‘I had guitar lessons, and I struggled,’ confesses Mark Webber. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Rick Marshall Mark Webber and Michael Cera in “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” Photo: Universal Pictures From the very first scene in “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” in which Michael Cera and his Sex Bob-Omb bandmates strap on their instruments and bust out some serious rock-and-roll thunder, director Edgar Wright’s new flick crackles with musical verve. There are band battles, tons of talk about record contracts and artist jealousy, and a soundtrack as important to the mood of each scene as the words coming out of each character’s mouth. Cera has strummed chords before, in “Juno” and “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist,” but not all of his castmates had musical experience when they signed on to this adaptation of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s graphic novel series. So Wright threw his actors into rock-and-roll boot camp, and with the help of some pros, they ended up learning how to wail.

Bun B Rocks With Live Band At Houston’s House of Blues

The Trill O.G. ‘s hometown album release party set included UGK classics and a Pimp C tribute. By Cynithia Allen Bun B (file) Photo: MTV News HOUSTON — The Trill Bun B put on a memorable show for his fellow Houstonians on the heels of the release of arguably his best album to date, Trill O.G. Bun’s official album party on Wednesday was at the House of Blues and the room was packed. The Texas MC opened up the show with the classic UGK track “Pourin’ Up,” sending the crowd — reciting the track word-for-word — into a frenzy. “Smoking out, pourin’ up/ Keeping lean up in my cup, call my cars got leather and wood/ In my ‘hood, we call it buck,” Bun rapped. The Underground King then reintroduced himself to Houston saying, “What’s up Houston? My name is Bun B, I’m from Port Arthur, Texas, and my only n—-s is UGK, and it’s UGK for life!” Next up, Bun showed a different side of his stage show, performing with a live band the on the song “Trillionaires” and then for the duration of the night. “I feel like the Rolling Stones with this band,” Bun laughed. “I feel like a rock star.” The Port Arthur rapper then went deeper into the UGK vault, performing songs like “Pocket Full of Stones,” (Jay-Z’s) “Big Pimpin’ ” and “Front, Back & Side to Side,” all of which led to an emotional point in Bun’s set. “I feel like Pimp is in the building, man,” Bun said, referring to his fallen UGK partner Pimp C . “Y’all just don’t know, I really miss my brother. I love my brother.” Shortly after paying tribute to Pimp C, Bun performed a snippet of the classic “One Day.” He followed that up with another touching tribute to some of rap’s dearly missed figures, including Tupac Shakur, the Notorious B.I.G. and Houston legends Big Moe, DJ Screw and Big Hawk. Bun then shifted the mood with a choir-style sound, commanding the audience to recite after him. “Now the South is in the house and they can’t do nothing about it,” Bun said, rapping the popular hook from “Draped Up,” the first single from his 2005 album Trill. Bun wrapped the show with “Trillionaire,” off his Trill O.G., captivating the entire venue. What do you think of Bun’s newest album? Let us know in the comments! Related Artists Bun B
