Gravity Trailer: Will George Clooney, Sandra Bullock Survive?

U.S. astronauts attempt to return to Earth after debris crashes into their space shuttle, leaving them drifting alone in orbit in this third Gravity trailer. Here we see the gravity (so to speak) of what the protagonists played by George Clooney and Sandra Bullock are up against, and it does not look good. See the directorial vision of Alfonso Cuaron, and what James Cameron is already calling “the best space movie ever done,” in the Gravity trailer below: Gravity Movie Trailer Enough to pique your curiosity and then some? We thought so. Whether it’s Oscar material or not remains to be seen, but it’s certainly going to be closely watched, given the performances of the two big names. Gravity lands (so to speak) October 4 in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D.

Divergent Teaser: Full Trailer To Premiere During VMA Broadcast!

It seems like we’ve been waiting for an eternity, and the  Divergent  photos have done a decent job as tiding us over, but finally we get to see the first footage from the upcoming film. Check out the  Divergent  teaser below! Divergent Teaser The full Divergent  trailer will premiere this Sunday during the broadcast of MTV’s Video Music Awards . Starring Shailene Woodley and Theo James,  Divergent is based on the extremely popular Veronica Roth novels.  The film opens in theaters on March 21st.

+1 Trailer: Not Your Average College Party

The first  +1 trailer has arrived and it isn’t your usual college party movie. In addition to the usual kegstands and hook ups,  +1 has a sci-fi element not usually seen in the party movie genre.  Check out the  +1 trailer below! +1 Trailer Starring Rhys Wakefield and Logan Miller,  +1  was directed by Dennis Iliadis and premiered as part of the Midnighters series as this year’s SXSW Film Festival.  It has been picked up be IFC but no announcement as been made as to whether or not IFC will release it in theaters or strictly OnDemand. Nor has a release date been set.

Girl Meets World Casts Peyton Meyer as Riley’s Love Interest

We all fell in love with Cory and Topanga as they fell in love with each other. Will we do the same with her daughter Riley and her newly-cast crush? Peyton Meyer has been cast on the Boy Meets World spinoff as Tristan Friar, the classmate and first love interest of Cory and Topanga’s child. He can be seen above with Riley, played by Rowan Blanchard. Elsewhere, August Maturo will portray Riley’s five-year old brother, Louis, on Girl Meets World, which will debut on The Disney Channel in 2014. Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will reprise their roles from the original series, this time as the parents and mentors of the young protagonist. Killer Squirrels Movie: Actually Coming Soon!

What is happening to the movie industry? Even by TV movie standards,  Sharknado was just awful, but it was lapped up by the public like hungry kittens at a bowl of milk. Now? Well now we’ve moved on from the ocean and into the beautiful forest filled with all the cute woodland creatures… who want to eat you. Squirrels Pre-Sale Trailer From Timur Bekmambetov, the man who brought us  Wanted and  Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter , comes a film that looks to be so ridiculous, one takes note of the date to make sure it isn’t April Fool’s Day. Written by Daniel Antoniazzi and Ben Shiffrin, the story is about an “army of flesh-eating squirrels hellbent on destroying everything in their path due to an erosion of their food chain” all thanks to a gas company that is buying up the town. Thankfully this trailer is only a pre-sales one which means nothing has been purchased as of yet. It’s hard to believe that someone will bring this project to life but then again, I probably would have said the same for  Sharknado and look where that is now.  In a world in which a  Sharknado sequel is a real thing, I suppose there is room for  Squirrels .

The Counselor Trailer: "Life Is Being In Bed With You"

A new The Counselor  trailer has arrived! This time, an international trailer, we get an even better look at just what the storyline might contain.  We already knew that Michael Fassbender got wrapped up in drug smuggling somehow, but with this new trailer we get a good look at some of the ways he is going to attempt to work out that situation. None of them seem like good ideas. Check out the  The Counselor  trailer below! The Counselor International Trailer The Counselor stars Michael Fassbender, Penelope Cruz, Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, and Cameron Diaz. The film is set to open in theaters on November 15th.

The Butler Trailer: Stars Come Out For Lee Daniels’ New Film

Lee Daniels’ The Butler opens this weekend after weeks of press and buzz about the movie, especially Oprah Winfrey ‘s return to the big screen. Starring a whole host of critically acclaimed names,  The Butler follows the true story of a man who worked in the White House as a butler from 1952-1986. Forrest Whitaker headlines as Cecil Gaines with Oprah playing his wife. Check out the newest  The Butler trailer, titled “Faith”, below! The Butler “Faith” Trailer As you can see the big names don’t stop at Whitaker and Winfrey. The duo is joined by the likes of Robin Williams, James Marsden, Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard , Vanessa Redgrave, and the list just goes on and on. Will all the star power and hype translate to a successful film? We’ll have to wait to find out this weekend when  The Butler  opens in wide release.

Philomena Trailer: Oscar Fodder for Dame Judi Dench?

If the  Captain Phillips trailer got your heart rate up, then this  Philomena trailer just might have you reaching for the kleenex. Starring Dame Judi Dench and Steve Coogan,  Philomena tells the story of a woman who was forced to give up her son for adoption and to live in a convent. 50 years later, she has enlisted the help of a reporter, fallen from grace, to help her find him. Check out the  Philomena  trailer below! Philomena Trailer Directed by Stephen Frears ( The Queen , High Fidelity ),  Philomena is set to open in the UK on November 1st. No U.S. release date has been announced.

CBGB Trailer: 50,000 Bands and 1 Disgusting Bathroom

The first trailer for Randall Miller’s  CBGB sends us back to the early days of the punk rock movement.  Starring Alan Rickman as the iconic Hilly Kristal, the film tells the story of the beginnings of the legendary club where the music was practically the only draw. Joining Rickman is a laundry list of stars including Donal Logue, Ashley Greene, Johnny Galecki, and countless others who are tasked with portraying the numerous musicians that came through the doors of CBGB. Her Trailer: Joaquin Phoenix Gets Cozy With a Computer

People are attached to their electronics, this is not news. However, Spike Jonez is taking that attachment to the extreme with his newest film,  Her. Joaquin Phoenix stars in the new film about a newly single man who finds a friend in a new artificial intelligence operating system that appears to be Apple’s Siri with a more powerful brain.  Things start out with Phoenix and his new OS living the dream, but soon things turn weird. And creepy. Creepy and weird. Check out the Her  trailer below! Her Trailer Joining Phoenix are Amy Adams and Scarlett Johansson.  Her opens in theaters on November 20th.
