‘Abduction’ Star Lily Collins Talks Taylor Lautner Kiss

Trailer shows only a ‘minor part’ of steamy scene, the actress reveals in our Fall Movie Preview. By Amy Wilkinson Taylor Lautner in “Abduction” Photo: Lionsgate Lily Collins is just two years into her burgeoning film career, but the 22-year-old actress has already racked up an impressive collection of A-list co-stars, including Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts. And, of course, “Twilight” hunk Taylor Lautner, who stars alongside Collins in the upcoming “Abduction.” Click for exclusive photos from Fall’s biggest flicks. The action-thriller centers on Lautner’s Nathan, who goes on the run with classmate Karen (Collins) to uncover his true identity after he discovers he’s actually a missing child. In anticipation of the September 23 release, we called up Collins to chat about this latest action-packed role, doing her own stunts and … that smooch with Lautner. MTV : Where does your character, Karen, fit on the spectrum of damsel in distress to kickass heroine? Lily Collins : We meet her in high school at the beginning of the story, and she’s had some sort of awkward past with Nathan that is alluded to, and they’re really awkward with each other at the beginning. She’s [a] cheerleader-kind of popular girl in school. And through this school assignment, she’s thrown into this crazy on-the-run journey with Nathan. And she starts out a young high school student and she grows into a woman quite fast during the story. She ends up kicking butt. MTV : We’ve seen Lautner sliding down buildings and generally being badass in the trailer, but how physical was this role for you? Collins : I get physical in the film but also use my surroundings and take note and use my mind to get out of things, like my female smarts. I got to do pretty much all of my own stunts. Ever since “Priest,” I’ve gotten really into stunt training. For “Snow White,” it’s been very intense fight training and fencing for a few months, but not for “Abduction.” I didn’t have training. I’d get to try things out a couple of times before we actually shot it. For me, I love just kind of diving into it. I don’t mind if I’m bruised or bumped or whatever. I feel like the more bumps and bruises I get, the more into it I’m getting and the more real it’s looking. MTV : We have to talk about that hot train kiss between you and Taylor. You know MTV likes to give out Golden Popcorns for such things. Could you see “Abduction” scoring a Best Kiss honor at the Movie Awards? Collins : [ Laughs ] Well, let’s just say the trailer only shows a minor part of that scene. So I think when people see the entire scene and where it starts and where it ends, I think people will get a little bit more excited about the scene when they see the entire thing. It was a crazy, funny scene to shoot, and Taylor made everything very comfortable. We’ll see what people say. Like I said, the trailer shows only a minor part of it. MTV : Perhaps you just answered this next question, but what was your favorite scene to film? Collins : [ Laughs ] No. [It’s when] the house explodes and we have to jump into the pool and we have debris falling on us. We did a separate day when we filmed solely underwater because we’re thrown into this pool, and the camera goes underwater and fire is everywhere. I’d never done something like that. You know, holding your breath for however long it was and having fire in the swimming pool we shot in and stuff falling on you, it was really so in the moment and energetic and very crazy to be shooting like that. Check Out Some REAL "Good Old-Fashioned Orgies" with Mr. Skin [PICS]

A Good Old-Fashioned Orgy star Lake Bell (seen above) appeared on Chelsea Lately last night, and Lake had some skinteresting comments, about, oh I dunno, US: I think the key to shooting any kind of sexual, or nudity, scene is not to pull any faces. Because I pull faces a lot, like ‘ahhh, look at me, I’m crazy’, and there’s all this stuff going on that’s NOT pretty in a still….Now I’ve got it down, so if there’s nudity involved of any sort…you have to…make sure you’re kind of posing in your face a little, cause it’s going to be freeze framed. Mr. Skin, you know …. Thanks for the shout-out, Lake, but we’re going to have to call your bluff on this one, because you’ve never actually BEEN nude in a movie! Not even in this movie- Angela Sarafyan is the only one who peels to reveal in A Good Old-Fashioned Orgy . It’s clear these ladies need a lesson in what a REAL good old-fashioned orgy looks like, and what better place to turn than the swingin’ ‘70s for skinspiration? More after the jump!

Teyana Taylor Comments On Fist Fight With Movie Director

See original here:

As previously reported from several media sources, Teyana Taylor got into a fist fight with movie director Jean-Claude La Marre on the set of Gang of Roses 2. She says it was self defense, that the Gang Of Roses director should never put his hands on a female. Check out the statement Teyana Taylor told Global Grind about the incident below. “Honestly at this point you know how when you’re just tired of all the drama, I’m just so over it and what that story (TMZ) sounds like, honestly it sounds like he was trying to promote his movie, that’s all that is. At the end of the day you don’t put your hands on any female, it was very unprofessional. That whole environment was very unprofessional, very inappropriate. It was just things that my eyes shouldn’t have seen. For him to put his hands on me was really hurtful. I don’t have a dad, I never had a dad and I ain’t about to have one today. I have never had a man raise his hand at me. It’s very emotional for me, it’s a very sensitive subject and at the end of the day, right is right and wrong is wrong. You never put your hands on a female. Period. When I came on set there was no food, there was no hair stylist, no make-up and the trailer was the size of my tub. I had to get my agent and my mom, who is my manager, involved and then we started getting hair and make up, but that only lasted for one day. He was just mad because I came in there and he felt that I was about my business and he didn’t like that and it felt like he already had a grudge against me. I was really supposed to only film for five days. The day me and him got into that altercation, that was day seven. Out of the kindness of my heart I came to do extra scenes for him so he would have an ending to his movie. On that day, my face was very, very swollen because of a problem with my tooth. That tooth thing was no joke. I could’ve died right there on set and he wouldn’t have even cared. That’s the point because he was more worried about himself. It was about him wanting to get his movie done so it was like, forget her tooth, her face is swollen but I want her to film more parts and I really don’t care if her face is swollen. He didn’t care and it took him to ignore my illness more than three times for me to finally raise my voice. I walked up to him and I was like — I walked to him crying, like my tooth is really hurting, my face is getting worse, I really have to go and he was like “Yeah okay … whatever…” He turned around and kept going about his business. So I raised my tone and I said look, I can’t wait a minute, I can’t wait two minutes, I can’t wait a second, I really, really need to go. He turned around and he said ‘Don’t f*cking scream at me b*tch’ and smacked his hand across my face and from there I defended myself.” Follow Me On Twitter @ itsJazzyFBaby Recent Posts: Bow Wow & Teyana Taylor On The Set Of Madea’s Big Happy Family [EXCLUSIVE CLIP] Teyana Taylor Poses For Nouss Somme Jewelry Revealing Teyana Taylor Photos Leak… Again & Again

Is This Nas’ New Girlfriend?

Read more from the original source:

Recently divorced rapper Nas was recently spotted out and about with actress Antonique Smith in West Hollywood. Antonique played Faith Evans in the movie Notorious and was recently shouted out by Nas on his single, “Nasty,” when he rhymed, “Maserati, pumpin’ Biggie, the great legend/Blastin’, I’m after the actress who played Faith Evans.” It looks like Antonique took the bait because last month, Antonique told XXL magazine that she wanted to actually meet him in person and maybe “do some music” together: He shouted me out on the song, which I thought was really sweet. I had never met him before and he called me sometime after that and said that he was initially afraid that I’d be upset about it because he wasn’t sure how I took it, but I thought it was sweet. He’s really nice. Word for word, he’s an incredible rapper. I’ve always been a fan and that line is a really dope line. We’re going to do some music together. And Antonique was spotted on the Queens set of his new “Nasty” video. Hmmmmm! Not a bad look for Nas! REVIEW: Hong Kong’s Tsui Hark Makes a Grand, Loopy Spectacle with Detective Dee

When I saw Hong Kong producer-director Tsui Hark’s Detective Dee and the Mystery of Phantom Flame at the Venice Film Festival last year, I lamented that although American viewers would probably be able to track the movie down on DVD or online, the picture wasn’t likely to get a U.S. theatrical release. Happily, I was wrong, and if you’re lucky enough to live in one of the cities where Detective Dee is playing, you too will now have a chance to witness Tsui’s glorious and somewhat unhinged vision as he tackles an episode in the real-life history of China — the ascent of the first female emperor to the throne — adding fanciful touches like spontaneous human combustion and mysterious creepy-crawlies with dangerous powers. It’s the kind of ambitious, loopy spectacle that begs to be seen on the big screen if at all possible.

Mother of Russell Armstrong on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Premiere: Double Murder?

The season two premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill s will go ahead as planned next week, with Bravo taking a few moments to address the suicide of Russell Armstrong prior to airing a re-edited version of the episode. How does this decision sit with Russell’s mother, John Ann Hotchkiss? Not too well. “When I was informed of this, I thought, ‘I hope Bravo will take the high road and keep it tasteful,'” Hotchkiss said in a statement to HLN’s Jane Velez-Mitchell. “Let’s not murder my son twice.” This isn’t the first time Hotchkiss has spoken out about her son and the series. Just two days after his death, the grieving parent appeared on HLN and said of her son’s marriage to Taylor Armstrong: “I began to notice things starting to fray when the television thing came into being, and I was very concerned.” Specifically citing Lisa Vanderpump, Hotchkiss said various castmembers “bashed” Russell and the program “really brought him down.” But, hey, at least Vanderpump didn’t make a mockery of Russell’s suicide by having her dog Tweet his condolences. Oh, wait, she did .

Taylor Lautner Credits Characters for Success

Taylor Lautner might be a little too modest. In the latest issue of VMAN, the dreamy actor doesn’t take any credit for the mammoth success of The Twilight Saga, instead telling the magazine: “It’s definitely these characters we are playing. [Fans] are in love with Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black. They feel like they know them. We are just lucky enough to be playing them.” Stare all you’d like, ladies. He’s not going anywhere. True, but it’s possible the looks and the talent of Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson play some role. Taylor, of course, would never complain about his stardom. But he does point out one downside: “When I am traveling the world promoting the films, I say I am on vacation, but it’s not really true. When I go to a beautiful city I spend the whole time in a hotel room and then I am back on a plane to the next place.” Lautner next stars in Abduction . Check out a feature on the movie NOW .
