‘American Reunion’ First-Look Clip Hits The Net

‘American Pie’ alums pose for pictures at their high-school reunion in brand-new teaser. By Terri Schwartz Cast of “American Pie Reunion” Photo: Sam Jones / Universal Pictures The East Great Falls class of 1999 are coming back together for a good old-fashioned “American Reunion.” The first teaser for the fourth installment of the “American Pie” comedy series hit the Internet, courtesy of People.com , and the 60-second clip features a montage of pics of the main characters posing in a photo booth at their high-school reunion. “Get ready for one last slice,” the video teases in a voiceover. Starring Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Seann William Scott and Eddie Kaye Thomas, the final movie in the “Pie” series follows the beloved characters as they come together for their 10-year reunion. A recently released plot synopsis teases that things aren’t so different for the old friends a decade later; Finch (Kaye Thomas), for one, is still longing for Stifler’s (Scott) mom. It turns out that the bond among the castmembers is also just as strong, even so many years after they filmed the ’99 original. People.com caught up with Scott and Biggs, and they talked about the impact “American Pie” has had on their lives. “We realized that no matter how much we may have changed individually, as a group, we will always be connected and have a special chemistry that arises immediately when we’re together,” Biggs said. According to Scott, that involves a lot of boys being boys. “In many respects, we’ve grown up a lot,” he said. “But on the other hand, we haven’t grown up at all. On set, Jason Biggs was farting up a storm, Chris Klein was belching, and Eddie Kaye Thomas and Biggs were hitting each other in [the groin].” Directed by “Harold & Kumar” helmers Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, “American Reunion” has reunited its original cast en masse: Eugene Levy, Natasha Lyonne , Shannon Elizabeth and Jennifer Coolidge are all back. Newcomers Katrina Bowden and Chad Ochocinco also hit the reunion when the movie opens in theaters on April 6, 2012. Twenty-two years have passed since Cameron Crowe made his directorial debut with Say Anything , the endearing romantic comedy starring John Cusack as a trench coat-clad kickboxer and Ione Skye as his valedictorian crush. To celebrate the ’80s classic, Crowe has released — for the very first time — the original extended opening scene to the movie, which as you recall, begins with Cusack’s Lloyd Dobler in his best friend’s (Lili Taylor) bedroom, discussing his future plans. Check out a glimpse of the script ahead.

Alicia Covers Glamour & Reveals Moment She Fell In Love [PHOTOS]

Read the original here:

Alicia Keys covers Glamour magazine’s October 2011 issue alongside Jennifer Aniston and Demi Moore. The three ladies teamed up to help launch Five , a series of short films about women and breast cancer that will be stitched together in a two-hour block on Lifetime in October. Each of the cover girls directed a film. Alicia directed Lili , a film about a fiercely independent 35-year-old whose breast cancer forces her to work through her relationship with her mother. How did you get involved with Five ? Kristin [Hahn] and Jen called me up; after I read the scripts, I felt like this was something important, and I wanted to be a part of it. I chose Lili because she’s close to my age and I understood the family dynamic. I had an immediate idea of what I could bring to it. People very close to me in my family have had [breast cancer], and it’s scary and it’s hard. Which one of your songs would you sit and listen to on the radio: “Fallin’,” “Empire State of Mind,” “If I Ain’t Got You” or “Unbreakable”? I mean, I don’t want to sound crazy, but I’d listen to all of them all the way through. I love them. I love those songs! Your husband, Swizz Beatz, has said that your relationship is “a blessing.” Do you feel that way too? Yes. It’s beautiful because rarely, I think, do you find a relationship where you can experience things equally. In fact, I think that’s my favorite word and the most important word when it comes to relationships: equality. And that’s what we’ve been able to find. We encourage each other equally. We’re excited for each other. Do you remember the moment when you fell in love? I do remember the exact moment. If I told you, I would have to kill you, but it was something that he planned, and he planned it so beautifully and thoughtfully that in that moment I remember thinking to myself, Oh my God, I’m so in love with him. What makes you giddy? I bet I can guess, and he’s just about a year old…. Yeah, my son, Egypt, makes me super giddy, especially when he laughs. His laugh makes me laugh like a maniac! Do you ever think about the kind of man you want Egypt to be? I do think about it a lot. He’s going to be a man in this world. It’s a beautiful blessing that I get to help raise a man. And I want to show him as much as possible. So what do you hope for your family? We’re such a bonded happy family, and I hope that we’ll always be able to be that. For me, the most important thing is that we always take the time to understand each other and grow together. We’re all going to change. Otherwise, it’s boring. Who wants to stay the damn same all their life? My name is Seante. On Justin’s birthday, rumors surfaced…

My name is Seante. On Justin’s birthday, rumors surfaced that Justin is actually a really rude person. Well, I personally couldn’t believe it. So I decided to do research. I came across this podcast where Justin was promoting his Never Say Never DVD . It seemed as if Justin’s remarks to the interviewer were very snappy and sharp. There was a point that the interviewer said, “I’ve never seen the movie” and Justin commented back was, “How are you going to do an interview with me about my movie and you’ve never seen it? It’s not even that expensive, you can catch a matinee it’s cheaper.” Immediately stopping the video there, I was very upset that the down to earth guy I saw in Never Say Never, wasn’t really down to earth.  Taking my anger to Twitter, I tweeted how I feel like I’ve been duped. Saying things like, “I’m done. I’m deleting my Twitter. I no longer Justin Bieber, but I LOVE his music, so I will support his MUSIC only.” Right before I went to delete my Twitter, I sent a tweet to Justin Bieber saying “@justinbieber wow. i guess you’re movie was a lie. you’re not that sweet down to earth person. you’re RUDE.” (I was on Twitter for iPhone, so I  couldn’t  deactivate right then) I was really hurt, and it wasn’t hard to tell by my tweets. Minutes later, my DM light came on. I don’t know, but I took a while to finally look at it because I kinda had a feeling it was Justin and there it was. A DM from Justin himself saying, “i was not rude…was joking around with them and they took it the wrong way. Their was a delay…i could barely hear them. IM NOT A BAD GUY!” Beliebers knew that he had DMd me because after hours of not following anyone, he followed me. It was 12:07am ON A SCHOOL NIGHT. I really needed to go to bed, but after that, I couldn’t. Anyways, being as stubborn as I am, I immediately tweeted how I got it wrong, but I’m not sorry for anything I said. My mentions were blowing up! A few minutes after Justin DMd me, he tweeted “having mixed feelings on my birthday”. That’s when I started to feel really bad. I know I wasn’t the only one tweeting Justin about being rude, but when I mentioned how Never Say Never was phony, it stuck a cord in him. I started to feel terrible. I just decided to go to bed. When I woke up the next day, I immediately checked my Twitter. The DM light was on again. I was scared to open it, but I did. Being the creeper Justin is, he had been creeping. And four hours later at 4:21am, Justin had creeped my tweets, and DMd me again. It said “u dont need to be sorry. just no im not bsing you. im not changing. i care and im not rude to my fans or others. i try and will always try”. Justin had stopped me from deleting my Twitter. I felt on top of the world. The person that I spent my days supporting, notice ME. Out of 9 million people! I felt important. I felt that Justin cares so much about his fans that he wouldn’t want to lose a single one!  I really respected him for that. There’s so many celebrities who say how they care about their fans. But the difference between Justin and them, is that he doesn’t only say that he cares about his fans, he shows it.  -@iBieberCheer Here is the original post: My name is Seante. ‘Hunger Games’ Director Unpacks VMA Footage

Gary Ross says Jennifer Lawrence will help him give viewers the same ‘visceral experience’ as the books. By Eric Ditzian Jennifer Lawrence in “The Hunger Games” Photo: Lionsgate While the “Hunger Games” teaser trailer lit up the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, director Gary Ross was back in North Carolina, his head space not so much occupied with Lady Gaga in drag and Lil Wayne’s long dreads as it was with Katniss Everdeen and the dystopian nation called Panem. Ross is still in the midst of shooting his adaptation of “The Hunger Games,” but last week, with the teaser set to debut at the VMAs, he took the time to touch base with MTV News via Skype to give us his exclusive commentary about the footage. Katniss Vision Suzanne Collins’ novel is a first-person tale, and it’s clear from the teaser Ross is striving to capture that same sort of immediate access into Katniss’ head. “I think one of the most important things when you adapt a book like this is to give people the experience they really had when they read it — the same kind of visceral experience they had,” he explained. “I think [the reason] everybody felt so strongly in what Suzanne did was that they were with this character, they understood her, they were in her shoes, they were in her head. It was such an intense first-person experience. My job in making a film is first and foremost to reflect that. “How do we get inside Katniss’ head? How do we feel what she’s feeling? How do we become her?” Ross continued. “The first thing that allows you to do that is Jennifer Lawrence, because she’s such an unbelievable actor. She has so much depth and power and talent and sophistication and sensitivity and subtly that she’s become Katniss Everdeen synonymously. I hope people feel about Jen and Katniss at the end of this three-book cycle the way they feel about Daniel Radcliffe and Harry Potter — that they’ve become very, synonymous with one another.” Get “Hunger Games” experts’ analysis of the teaser. Gale’s Voiceover That voiceover you hear during the trailer? That’s Katniss’ District 12 pal Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth). And Ross has a very specific idea in mind about the importance of making Gale a part of this initial footage (and not Katniss’ Hunger Games companion, Peeta Mellark). “As everyone knows, Gale is an enormous part of Katniss’ life, but he’s not as big a part of the first book as he is the subsequent books,” the director told us. “I think he’s very, very present and he’s tremendously important, but of course we shift into the Capitol and then the arena, where Peeta ends up playing a more prominent role. But he’s in her head, he’s in her life, he’s something that echoes with her throughout the games, as any reader of the book knows, so he plays an obviously prominent role.” The Difficulty of the Shoot Though Ross and his team didn’t have to contend with giant fireballs in the woods, as Katniss does in the first look, the filmmaker revealed that the set in the North Carolina forest posed quite a challenge to the production. “This was like shooting in Vietnam,” he said. “I felt like I was making ‘Apocalypse Now.’ The thing was so rigorous. We spent something like six weeks outside in the jungle every day, hiking up and down mountains with cameras and in the mud and in driving rain storms. We all felt it, but nobody felt it as much as Jen did. It’s been an intense physical experience for her.” Just Getting Started While Ross was proud to show off this initial footage, he told us this is only the beginning and that there are a few scenes and characters in particular that he can’t wait for people to see in the future. “We’re still shooting, so unfortunately, it’s just a teaser,” he said. “We could only give you a little bit, because we’re still down here making the movie. I’ve got to leave in half an hour and shoot. But there’s a lot of things to come that I think are going to be hugely epic and very emotional and incredibly powerful. I think that we’ve done wonderful things with the mutts. I think that we’ve done a tremendous job bringing the Capitol to life, and I think that’s going to be really, really exciting for people to see. And all the performances! Wait till you see Stanley Tucci do Caesar Flickerman.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Hunger Games.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com . The Very Busy Chris Pratt on Preparing for Moneyball, Goofing in What’s Your Number? and Ten Year

Television watchers have been hip to Chris Pratt since he first appeared on The WB series Everwood in 2002. Other supporting roles in television ( The O.C. ) and film ( Bride Wars ) followed, but the Minnesota-born star really came into his own with his winning turn as Andy Dwyer, pratfaller extraordinaire-cum-romantic lead, on the beloved NBC series Parks & Recreation . Now, with three films coming out this fall, including two next month, Pratt is poised to tackle the big screen with a fervor his Parks & Rec alter ego would usually reserve for the Meat Tornado .
