Dallas Mavericks star Shawn Marion was approached by Dancing with the Stars to join its cast this fall, but will not take part despite strong interest. The reason is simple: The NBA lockout might end early. DWTS sent him an official offer to appear on the show, but the athlete wants to make sure he’s 100 percent available by the start of the NBA season. The ABC show ends in November and the NBA season usually tips off in late October, leaving the possibility of some overlap if Marion advanced far. Of course, right now, the league is on ice due to a labor dispute. DWTS , which is also courting Ron Artest , is apparently trying to take advantage. So far, no luck, though. I wanted to talk about dong shots, and a story we’re running Monday about a girl with whom he had a sexy-texting relationship. She wrote for us about the bizarre comedy of texting with Ron Artest. She didn’t ask us for money, nor did she ask Ron for pictures of his d*ck. But hey, we wanted to hear his side of the story. Slain Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden had a hit list, according to reports, with taking down U.S. President on September 11 of this year his #1 target. Bin Laden’s list called for a “celebration” of the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks by shooting down Air Force One with President Obama on board. The terrorist mastermind, who was killed by U.S. forces May 1, also wanted Gen. David Petraeus dead and to crash a plane into a major sports event. A “treasure trove” of documents discovered in Bin Laden’s hideout revealed the plans the Al Qaeda chief was crafting to assassinate Barack Obama. To accomplish that horrific goal, Bin Laden discussed attacking the president’s plane or helicopter with a missile or grenade, officials told ABC News. These machinations were part of U.S. intelligence discoveries that included the murderer’s huge porn stash at his Abbottabad, Pakistan, compound. Sources say that despite Bin Laden’s reputation was the world’s most notorious terrorist and fugitive, success would have been extremely unlikely. “It’s difficult, but not impossible, to shoot down either Gen. Petraeus or the president’s plane,” said Brad Garrett, a former FBI special agent. “The reality is because of all the countermeasures in place, and other planes and helicopters in the air, it’s not a likely scenario,” he added. The plane into a sporting event scenario, however? “We have so many small airports, you could fly below radar,” he said. “That’s possibly doable.” Sweet. Fortunately, the NFL and NBA are currently experiencing lockouts, and no one goes to NHL games (kidding, mostly), leaving only baseball.
The plot thickens … This Robert Ross character who we previously told you tried selling Shaunie O’Neal sex tapes of Shaq making it with other women while they were married has filed a lawsuit against Shaquille claiming his “former friend” ordered him to kill three people, including a woman who Shaq knocked up then paid to have an abortion. He also says Shaq had him kidnapped but released him in exchange for the sex tape. According to TMZ reports : Shaq’s former pal Robert Ross — an ex-gang member — is suing O’Neal for allegedly masterminding a plot to have him kidnapped by other gang members back in 2008. In the documents, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Ross claims O’Neal organized and funded a series of murders and brutal attacks on people who did him wrong. In the suit, Ross alleges, “For many years O’Neal requested and directed [Ross] to perform many personal favors and directed him to perform various tasks including, but not limited to: ordering [Ross] to kill a member of the Downtown Gangster Crips who had disrespected O’Neal in front of his wife Shaunie.” O’Neal is also accused of issuing “an order to kill a woman whom O’Neal had impregnated and paid for her abortion” and “an order to kill a renown record producer.” Ross also alleges that O’Neal issued “an order to break an NBA player’s shooting arm.” Ross — who never says whether the alleged hits were carried out — is suing for unspecified damages. Shaq’s lawyer, Michael J. Kump, tells TMZ … “The outlandish claims by Robert Ross in his civil complaint are pure fiction. Shaquille O’Neal befriended Mr. Ross in an attempt to help turn his life around. Sadly, Mr. Ross abused that friendship again and again. Kump adds, “Shaquille’s commitment to law enforcement is well-known and documented. He will not dignify these defamanatory allegations with a response.” As we’ve said before, it all sounds hard to believe — but now we gotta wonder if “Shaq’s commitment to law enforcement” might have just been a good way to keep his a*s covered. After all those shady LAPD Ramparts officers had a “commitment to law enforcement” too… SMH! You’ve got to look at the documents below — in addition to his claim that Shaq asked him to break the shooting arm of another NBA player, there is even an allegation that an affair with Shaunie is what soured the relationship between Ross and O’Neal!!!! Talk about drama.
