Kristen Doute on Vanderpump Rules Firing: I Was Blindsided!

Longtime SUR server and Vanderpump Rules crazy person Kristen Doute was fired by Lisa Vanderpump on Monday’s episode of the hit Bravo show. Doute, who had been with the restaurant for seven years, spoke to the network in the wake of her dismissal, which she says she was not expecting. Doute was fired on Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 14 for being disrespectful to management on the previous episode, and many other times. Lisa Vanderpump, husband Ken Todd, and partners Guillermo and Nathalie Zapata dropped the hammer on Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 14 . “I had this weird feeling and I happened to walk by the VIP room in the lounge and I saw Lisa sitting with Ken and Guillermo and Nathalie,” Doute said. “So I thought to myself, ‘Oh no, this isn’t good’ … I had a feeling it was about me.” It was. The final straw, as you know if you watch Vanderpump Rules online , was her telling her manager Diana to “walk the f–k away” and “suck a d–k.” Walk away from a screaming match she was having in front of patrons, no less. Even so, she might have weaseled her way back onto the job if she had apologized, which Lisa clearly wanted her employee to at that moment. Instead, Kristen Doute denied any wrongdoing, in typical and stubborn fashion. Vanderpump tweeted after the fact that her decision to fire Doute was difficult. “No @kristendoute it wasn’t easy, but I think we both knew it was about time,” she wrote. “We all make mistakes … just some more than others, from that we grow.” Vanderpump Rules Cast Photos 1. After Doute’s firing was made known, kitchen staffers were rejoicing over the combative reality star’s ouster. Doute, who has been trying to break up Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix with every fiber of her being, says she “should have quit a long time ago.” She also doesn’t seem to be full of resentment against her former boss. “I have to say, I wouldn’t have any of this without her,” Kristen reflects following her boss’ decision to give her the heave-ho after all this time. “I wouldn’t have the job, I wouldn’t have the show. So as much as I’m not her biggest fan and vice versa, I’m grateful for the opportunities she’s given me.” Doute still hopes (against hope) that Vanderpump will bring her back. “I put my life on the line for everyone to see,” she said. “I want to continue the journey. Taylor Swift Nude Photos to be Released By Hackers?

Earlier today, Taylor Swift’s Twitter account was compromised by hackers claiming to be associated with Lizard Squad – the same group who famously hacked into the networks of major gaming systems over the holiday season. The hackers immediately began tweeting to Swift’s 70 million followers, encouraging them to follow various accounts associated with Lizard Squad. It seemed fairly harmless at first – as harmless as a forceful invasion of one’s privacy can be, anyway – but then the hackers began threatening to release nude photos of Taylor. Obviously, the incident brings to mind the widespread theft that occurred back in August when nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and dozens of other female stars were released online.  Taylor took to her Tumblr page today to acknowledge the hacking and admit that she is, indeed, frightened: “Well, now I’m awake,” Taylor wrote. “My Twitter got hacked but don’t worry, Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me a new password. Never a dull moment.” She later updated that her Instagram has now been hacked too, adding, “This is going to be a long day #THIS IS WHY I’M, SCARED OF TECHNOLOGY #WHO’S PARANOID NOW?” Between the theft of nude photos from Kate Upton and so many others over the summer and the recent Sony hacking scandal , online security has been in the news more than ever lately, and it seems that Taylor is the latest victim of cyber-criminals who are more interested in proving a point than making money. It looks as though Taylor’s accounts have been secured, and the hacks are currently being investigated, but a scary moment for the singer and her fans, nonetheless. Katie Holmes doesn’t want to wait… for her life to be over another chance to appear on a popular television show. She wants to know right now what it will be. And it will be Ray Donovan! Showtime has confirmed that the former Mrs. Tom Cruise will play a “major” role on Ray Donovan Season 3: she’ll come on board the drama as a shrewd business woman named Paige. According to the network press release, the character will be the daughter of billionaire producer Andrew Finney (to be portrayed by Ian McShane), who enlists Ray’s services. Holmes, of course, will forever be remembered by television fans as Joey from Dawson’s Creek, but she has more recently appeared on episodes of How I Met Your Mother and Eli Stone, along with the miniseries The Kennedys. Tracey Edmonds Talks New Movie “With This Ring” And Black Actresses In Lead Roles Earlier this week, we caught up with always-fab executive producer Tracey Edmonds to chat about her latest television movie “With This Ring.” Among other things, Tracey opened up with her thoughts on the increased presence of black actresses in lead roles on television, having an all-black female cast in the movie and her boo Deion Sanders’ acting skills . Check out a little of what she had to say below: On the increased presence of African-American actresses in lead roles: I think that we have made some strides. And so the blessings are that you see a lot more African-American females, especially on television in leading roles.  And that’s amazing to see. Kerry Washington in “Scandal,” Viola Davis in “How to Get Away With Murder,”  Alfre Woodard, you know, also on another network show, Taraji Henson. So I mean we do see a lot more African-American women in empowered and in leading roles. And so I’m very, very excited about that. we’ve made some strides. On the challenges for African-American actors in Hollywood: The challenges are still the lack of slots for what I’d call all African-American casted films where basically your entire cast is African-American….or [telling] African-American stories.  There is still a long way to go, especially on the theatrical side of things.  There are only a couple slots a year, you know, for urban films versus the hundreds of slots that are available for mainstream films. So we still have a long ways to go, you know, in that arena. For example like, “ With this Ring,”  all of our leads are African American women.  But that is still pretty rare to see.  So it’s a blessing that Lifetime is creating slots to allow these types of stories to be told because these types of stories, even though you have African-American casting, the scenes are still relatable across the board. There are still fabulous women of all colors that are still single, that are still dealing with the dynamics that we’re exploring in the story. On how she’d rate boyfriend Deion Sanders’ acting cameo in the film: Oh I rate it a 10. He came in and he did his thing and he did not disappoint at all. He played the heck out of that role. I mean we were all left kind of wishing that we had a little bit more because his character was so much fun. “With This Ring” was also co-produced by actress Gabrielle Union and stars Regina Hall, Eve and Jill Scott. Shady Azz Sharpton? Permed Up Al Accused Of Accepting Thousands From Companies To Keep Them From Being Branded Racist

Wow… So he’s a snitch who takes bribes!? If we didn’t already think Al Sharpton was shady enough, the NY Post dropped a detailed report over the weekend that explains how he gets money for NOT throwing cororations under the bust for racism: For more than a decade, corporations have shelled out thousands of dollars in donations and consulting fees to Sharpton’s National Action Network. What they get in return is the reverend’s supposed sway in the black community or, more often, his silence. Sony Pictures co-chair Amy Pascal met with the activist preacher after leaked emails showed her making racially charged comments about President Obama. Pascal was under siege after a suspected North Korean cyberattack pressured the studio to cancel its release of “The Interview,” which depicts the assassination of dictator Kim Jong-un. No payments to NAN have been announced, but Sharpton and Pascal agreed to form a “working group” to focus on racial bias in Hollywood. Sharpton notably did not publicly assert his support for Pascal after the meeting — what observers say seems like a typical Sharpton “shakedown” in the making. Pay him in cash or power, critics say, and you buy his support or silence. “Al Sharpton has enriched himself and NAN for years by threatening companies with bad publicity if they didn’t come to terms with him. Put simply, Sharpton specializes in shakedowns,” said Ken Boehm, chairman of the National Legal & Policy Center, a Virginia-based watchdog group that has produced a book on Sharpton. And Sharpton, who now boasts a close relationship with Obama and Mayor Bill de Blasio, is in a stronger negotiating position than ever. “Once Sharpton’s on board, he plays the race card all the way through,” said a source who has worked with the Harlem preacher. “He just keeps asking for more and more money.” We figured he was up to something but this just seems so greedy and unjust. We just hope some of that fortune being funneled into Nationa Action Network actually goes toward helping the companies that need and want them. Here’s more details: Sharpton raised $1 million for NAN at his 60th birthday bash in October, with donations rolling in from unions and a corporate roster of contributors including AT&T, McDonald’s, Verizon and Walmart. Companies have long gotten in line to pay Sharpton. Macy’s and Pfizer have forked over thousands to NAN, as have General Motors, American Honda and Chrysler. NAN had repeatedly and without success asked GM for donations for six years beginning in August 2000, a GM spokesman told The Post. Then, in 2006, Sharpton threatened a boycott of GM over the planned closing of an African-American-owned dealership in The Bronx. He picketed outside GM’s Fifth Avenue headquarters. GM wrote checks to NAN for $5,000 in 2007 and another $5,000 in 2008. Sharpton targeted American Honda in 2003 for not hiring enough African-Americans in management positions. “We support those that support us,” Sharpton wrote to the company. “We cannot be silent while African-Americans spend hard-earned dollars with a company that does not hire, promote or do business with us in a statistically significant manner.” Two months later, car company leaders met with Sharpton, and Honda began to sponsor NAN’s events. The protests stopped. Sharpton landed a gig as a $25,000-a-year adviser to Pepsi after he threatened a consumer boycott of the soda company in 1998, saying its ads did not portray African-Americans. Galavant Series Premiere: Did It Hit a High Note?

ABC rang in its new year of original programming with something truly original on Sunday night: Galavant, a musical event that starred Joshua Sasse as a knight whose armor loses its luster after the love of his life – Mallory Jansen’s Madelena – gets abducted by the wealthy King Richard (Timothy Omundson). With music penned by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater, and with Dan Fogelman as executive producer, the comedic event also featured such huge names as John Stamos and Ricky Gervais. There were many jokes. There were a lot of pratfalls. And there were unique songs viewers will likely have stuck in their heads for days weeks to come. But did the story of this fallen hero and his quest for revenge make a strong first impression for reasons beyond ABC’s endless ad campaign?
