Piranha 3DD may have been pushed to 2012, but the new teaser trailer suggests that the quality and spirit of the franchise hasn’t been diluted. How could it have been, with returning fish survivor Ving Rhames dropping lines like, “Bring me my legs !” before gunning down the waters, Cherry Darling-style? Or with Baywatch ‘s own lifeguard-slash-private eye extraordinaire, Mitch Buchannon , policing the bouncing bloodied bosoms fleeing from their piscine predators? All this and more — “Double the terror, double the Ds” — in today’s Buzz Break!

Don’t Call It A Comeback: Todd Bridges Set To Appear In Adam Sandler Film

Bossip had a Todd Bridges sighting at Tuesday night’s premiere of “Madison County” in LA: One of horror’s most highly-anticipated films, Madison County made its world premiere as a marquee presentation during ScreamFest 2011. Madison County is a horror film about a group of college kids that travel to a remote, mountain town called Madison County, to interview the author of a tell-all book on the accounts of the grisly murders that happened in the town over two decades before. Upon their arrival, the author is nowhere to be found and the townspeople state that they haven’t seen him in years. They also deny that Damien Ewell, the notorious murderer, ever existed and that the murders ever happened. Bridges revealed to Bossip.com exclusively that he is busy writing a follow-up to his explosive best-selling book, “Killing Willis” for a target release date in early June 2012 when he returns to the big screen in Adam Sandler’s “I Hate You, Dad.” We’re proud to see Todd doing so well now that he’s off that stuff. Keep up the good work homie.

Kudos to AFI Fest for offering three important qualities next month, when the annual Los Angeles film festival runs November 3-10. For starters, in addition to fest opener J. Edgar , they’re programming Shame , one of my fall awards season must-sees and the potentially life-changing opportunity to see Michael Fassbender bare it all . (I mean emotionally, of course. Ahem.). Secondly, it’s held right here in Los Angeles — no pesky traveling to distant, exotic, champagne-sipping lands like France and Italy! Because that must suck. Chandor isn’t traditional Verge material — a 15-year veteran of commercials, documentaries and short films whose dramatic feature debut, Margin Call features a eye-popping ensemble cast of Oscar winners (Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Irons), seasoned pros (Stanley Tucci, Demi Moore, Paul Bettany, Simon Baker) and next-generation standouts (Zachary Quinto, Penn Badgley) taking on the tale of a New York City investment bank flirting with oblivion at the dawn of the ongoing financial crisis. And thanks to both the cast and his own formidable chops, Chandor pulls it off with impressive aplomb .

Well, now someone is claiming that the critically disappointing blockbuster was based on his own life, and he’s suing the filmmakers.

Woody Allen may have lost his knack for titling his films , but he hasn’t lost his sense of humor. In a recent New York Times interview conducted by Elaine May, the Oscar-nominated screenwriter asked Allen to reveal something “startling” about himself that he had never shared publicly. Allen deadpanned, “I’m wanted for pederasty in Mongolia.” Other revelations? “I am already more than sufficiently attractive. Of course the actual impact of my physique might not be apparent to the naked eye at first glance, but with some laser surgery or perhaps corneal transplants the viewer will be amply rewarded.” [ NYT ]
