Sara Brandon Gives Birth to 14-Pound Baby; Biggest U.S. Newborn of 2013

Everyone thinks their baby is extra special, but Sara Brandon’s baby boy wins … at least technically. He’s the biggest child born in the U.S. all year! The boy weighed in at a whopping 14 pounds – double the weight of your average newborn – and arrived a week and a half before his due date, no less. So was Joel Brandon Jr. born via C-section or naturally? The former. Sara had a scheduled C-section at 38 1/2 weeks, at which point she knew her son was big . An ultrasound estimated he would be around 11 pounds. Give or take three? The 2013 record-setting baby boy landed in the NICU because of respiratory problems, but a week later, he was released and is in perfect health. And straight into size 2 diapers. As a four-month-old, he’s up to 23 pounds … good enough for the “150th percentile” for height and weight based on how he compares to normal charts. The year’s previous “biggest baby” title holder was a little girl in Pennsylvania, born in July at 13 pounds, 12 ounces, just a shade under Joel’s weight. 14 is the new 13? 13-Pound Baby

David Arquette Drunk Dials Howard Stern, Talks Courtney Cox, GTA & Hitler

David Arquette got drunk and called up his close friend Howard Stern Wednesday, and what resulted was a tangent-filled, emotional and sometimes incoherent chat. The 42-year-old has struggled with alcohol in the past, and appears to be battling his demons again – or he just had a little too much fun the night before. David Arquette: Drunk on Howard Stern “I’m wasted,” Arquette said. “I threw a wrap party for this film I’m working on called ‘The Key.’ This isnt the first time I called you [drunk], I’ve called in a few times.” Indeed, his drunk phone calls have been epic over the years. In this particular instance, Arquette was quick to discuss his relationship with Courteney Cox, his former wife, as well as his undying love for Howard. “You are incredible,” he told Stern. “You are God. We’re all gods in our own way. We’re all droplets of God. The whole game is to entertain God. God created us all .” Well put. As for Cox, she broke up with co-star Brian Van Holt, but has moved on with another man, “someone who loves and cares for her. That’s all I care about.” The intoxicated actor added, gushing almost uncontrollably, of the mother of his daughter Coco: “She’s the most brilliant, beautiful friend that I’ve ever met.” Arquette also touched upon Adolf Hitler, Grand Theft Auto V, the N-word and more during the rambling conversation that seemed to go on forever. “I’m sorry, and I apologize to anyone I’m going to offend,” he said of the chat, which you can listen to above, “and I’m wasted and I’ll get sober tomorrow.” Probably not the worst idea.

Fifty Shades of Grey Movie Production Delayed Due to Casting Change

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie has its leading man – for the second time – but the casting change has forced a month-long delay in the start of production. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Charlie Hunnam’s departure from the role of Christian Grey, which went to Jamie Dornan , has put off the production. Fifty Shades of Grey Production Delayed The movie was initially set to start filming in early November. Now it won’t begin until December 2 , which could jeopardize its August 1, 2014 release date. Nothing has been decided regarding the latter point, but if they can get it filmed in 3-4 months, that still leaves another few more for any post-production. What is known is that Dakota Johnson will star as Anastasia Steele in the film alongside Dornan, who takes over for Hunnam as Ana’s lover Christian. Also in the cast are Luke Grimes as Elliot Grey , Christian Grey’s brother, and Jennifer Ehle as Anastasia’s mom. Sam Taylor-Johnson is set to direct. The idea that the Fifty Shades of Grey production would be delayed is also not surprising given the “polishing” of the script first written by Kelly Marcel. Marcel penned the script, which Patrick Marber hopped on to “do a polish and character work,” and now Mark Bomback is also on board to revise. While producers often bring a new writer on as shooting draws nearer, Bomback’s arrival on the scene as the third scribe a bit of an eyebrow-raiser. He worked on the 2008 sex club thriller Deception , starring Michelle Williams, Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor, so he’s got credentials at least. As for the two leads … tell us what you think below! Kanye West thinks very highly of his fiancee. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on the American Idol host’s talk show yesterday, Kanye said “there’s no way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be on the cover of Vogue.” But that’s not the only praise he heaped on Ray J’s former sex tape partner. Kim Kardashian: More Influential Than Michelle Obama? “She’s like the most intriguing woman right now. She’s got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday,” Kanye said of Kim said. “And collectively, we’re the most influential with clothing. No one is looking at what [Barack Obama] is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a [bikini] pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day.” That is true, ‘Ye. We’re not sure what your point is, but we grant you that Kim Kardashian bikini pictures are more prevalent and popular than those of the First Lady. Is West trying to be controversial by saying Kardashian is more influential than Michelle Obama? Chris Brown to Spend Three MONTHS in Rehab For Anger Problems?

Chris Brown will spend up to three months in treatment for his anger issues as he looks to get a handle on his temper, according to a new report. There has been no firm decision on a precise duration of time Brown will stay in rehab (he’s at a Malibu, Calif., location) but three months is a good bet. Everyone in Brown’s camp, including Chris, is open to that length of time . Sounds like it’s serious, too, even if it is largely a play to avoid prison. “The rehab facility has been told to take him [Brown] apart and put him back together,” a source close to the constantly embattled singer tells TMZ. Chris Brown checked into rehab last night, specifically to seek treatment for his anger problem, which manifested itself Sunday morning when he was arrested. He allegedly punched a guy in the face for photobombing him and/or trying to get on his tour bus, and spent a day and a half in a jail cell as a result. The 24-year-old was eventually cut loose and the charge was reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor. He is due back in court Monday, November 25. For this particular fight, he will not be given jail time. But even a lesser conviction or merely a criminal charge could trigger a violation of his probation. Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, knows it’s likely that a judge will revoke Brown’s probation for beating Rihanna , which could put him behind bars. It’s undoubtedly strategic, but the rehab move is an act of good faith, showing Brown is dealing with his problems, and hopefully he takes it seriously. Otherwise, it’s just a matter of who gets beaten up next and when. Karrueche Tran is standing by her man for now, but he’s running out of second chances. Chris Brown: Should he go to jail?   Yes. Maybe it’s just us, but when Mike Tyson of all people is taking note of your violent tendencies and voicing concern, it may be time to rethink your life. Such is the case for Chris Brown, who the former boxing champ believes is too violent and headed down a dangerous path where he will pay the price. Mike Tyson Offers Advice to Chris Brown Tyson was a guest on the 95.5 PLJ Morning Show this morning when he was asked about Chris Brown, who was arrested for assault in D.C. Iron Mike, who’s battled anger issues in the past himself, weighed in on Chris. “I like and admire that little guy,” Tyson said. “I’m just worried about him.” Who admires Chris Brown? Great use of the word “little.” Mike did prison time for rape. Regarding that last point, Tyson says he knows from experience that if Chris doesn’t learn to control his rage, fans will turn on him. As will the law. “They’re gonna put him somewhere where that’s all they do is assault people,” Mike added , hinting at the Big House, and adding, “Chris should know this.” “If you’re not humble, this world will thrust humbleness upon you.” Not the kind of thrusting he did as an eight year old, either. You follow? In truth, Mike’s words are ones to live by … four or five years too late, perhaps. Chris, despite the felony assault charge being lowered to a misdemeanor , may pay a hefty price just the same – for beating Rihanna back in 2009. He could have his probation revoked regardless of whether he’s convicted, as he is required to obey all laws and clearly doesn’t care too much about that. Miley Cyrus Flashes Back, Tweets Adorable Elementary School Portrait

Miley Cyrus wasn’t always spreading her legs and getting covered in cash. She wasn’t always Twerking, her hair wasn’t always short and blonde and, heck, her name wasn’t always Miley Cyrus. The 20-year old singer posted a new photo to Twitter last night, although it’s really a very old photo of her as an elementary school student in Nashville, back when her first name was “Destiny” and long before her first wrecking ball ride . What prompted the cute release? It’s unclear. She didn’t include a caption. But it would be nearly impossible for Cyrus to pose any more shocking photos at this point. We’ve seen her in ever conceivable pose, position and outfit. So perhaps she simply wanted to find a new way to keep everyone talking about her . It’s working, isn’t it?

Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman Costumes: The Most Offensive Things Ever?

Good news, Julianne Hough: You no longer have the most offensive Halloween costume . Not by a long, long, long shot. In a photo that’s gone viral, two young men are dressed as Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman for this year’s holiday, with one donning a “Neighborhood Watch” shirt and the other wearing a black mask and blood-stained sweatshirt. Really. We’re not making this up: According to the Smoking Gun, the costumed gentle men are residents of Florida, where the George Zimmerman murder case took place. Zimmerman admitted to shooting Martin in early 2012 after trailing the 15-year old through his community and then struggling with Martin. In a trial that captivated the nation, Zimmerman pleaded not guilty and was exonerated by a jury of his peers in July. One of the men pictured above reportedly made this image his Facebook profile photo before thinking better of it. So at least the guy isn’t a total, complete and utter moron. WWII Veteran, Lawrence E. "Shine" Thornton, Killed In Brutal Attack

If there was ever a story to make Chris Brown look slightly less bad, this might be it. Four Mississippi teenagers attacked WWII veteran Lawrence E. “Shine” Thornton in his driveway and the 87-year-old man died from the injuries sustained in this brutal mugging. WWII Veteran Dies After Brutal Attack Lawrence E. “Shine” Thornton, from Greenville, Mississippi, died two days after four young men shoved him to the ground to steal his wallet while he was in his own driveway. His life, says Eric Scheiner, was “a story of hard work, overcoming adversity, belief in God and finding some success in doing what you love.” The accused, Terrance Morgan, 19; Edward Johnson, 19; Leslie Litt, 18; and Geblonski Murray, 18, have each been charged with capital murder and are being held without bond. They are also charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
