If there is ever a movie to be made about Pope Francis, we have found its lead. The 266th head of the Roman Catholic Church, Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina, is a dead-ringer for Arrested Development star Jeffrey Tambor! Take a look at His Holiness and the actor who plays George Bluth Sr. Below … Tambor is eight years younger than Pope Francis , 76, but there’s a definite resemblance, no? You’d have a hard time finding someone who better looks the part. You’d also have a hard time reading these Arrested Development quotes and not laughing aloud. You’re welcome, L.A. casting agents and AD fans alike.
OK! Magazine and its ilk are incorrigible. Having run out of things to talk about since Justin Theroux and Justin Theroux got engaged, the celebrity gossip source now claims in its new issue: They already got married in secret! According to OK! sources (anonymous ones of course), Jennifer and Justin were united in “a small commitment ‘ceremony’ together over Christmas.” Sure they were. “It happened at their Bel Air house shortly after their vacation in Mexico. It was super top-secret, and they shared it with a handpicked group from their inner circles.” Hilariously, this supposed wedding would have happened after they eloped to Mexico, which OK! said in January. Keep your made-up stories straight! Covering its tracks, the tabloid adds that Aniston and Theroux will have a second (third?) “official” ceremony in Hawaii when she wraps her latest film. “Justin has his heart set on doing it in Hawaii,” the source says. “It’s his favorite place in the world. He even owns a cute little cottage on Kauai.” That part could conceivably maybe be true. But any assertion that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are already married is 100 percent bogus.
Note to Scooter Braun: you might wanna keep all umbrellas and razors away from Justin Bieber. The singer has gone off on yet another social media rant, following his bashing of the press via Twitter last week with a rambling diatribe on Instagram. This one also calls out the media… those who believe Bieber needs rehab… and even Lindsay Lohan’s tax statements! “I’m tired of all the countless lies in the press right now,” Justin wrote. “Saying I’m going to rehab and how my family is disappointed in me.” Bieber, of course, has enjoyed a rough couple weeks abroad while on tour this month. He collapsed on stage in London. He flipped the eff out at a cameraman . He canceled a show in Portugal. But he insists – in an angry, bitter tone – that he’s doing just fine. “My family is beyond proud,” Bieber continued. “if Anyone believes i need rehab thats their own stupidity lol I’m 19 with 5 number one albums, 19 and I’ve seen the whole world. 19 and I’ve accomplished more than I could’ve ever dreamed of.” ( THG Note : We mostly hear you, JB. But success doesn’t exactly translate into mental well-being. It can often be quite the opposite, in fact. Just ask Dave Chappelle.) Justin, not lacking for self-confidence, was far from finished: “i’m 19 and it must be scary to some people to think that this is just the beginning. I know my talent level and i know i got my head on straight. i know who i am… My albums could be about anything but my messages have been to never say never and believe, not to believe in me, but to believe in yourself .. I honestly don’t care if you don’t believe in me because I believe in me, and look where that’s gotten me so far… “I’m writing this with a smile on my face and love in my heart. Letting u know first hand how I feel rather than have these story linger. I’m a good person with a big heart. And don’t think I deserve all of this negative press.” Bieber concluded by saying he’s “doing pretty damn good” and to all those “comparing me to Lindsay Lohan ,” Justin has a message: “look at her 2012 tax statements.” In other words: Bieber has no problems because he is a lot richer than Lohan. Again, not really sure if that mindset is a sign of Justin having his head screwed on straight… or the total opposite. What do YOU think? Should Bieber enter rehab? Yes, he’s losing it! No, leave him alone! Marry me, Justin!!! View Poll »
There have been presumptions that former First Lady, Senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will make another White House run come 2016. She leads a recent 2016 presidential poll (yes, there was one), and given her resume and name recognition at this point, that’s not a real surprise. But this is: Another, even more intriguing idea floating around the web this week is that current FLOTUS Michelle Obama could be her running mate. “All due respect for President Obama and Vice President Biden, but that would truly be a dream team,” former Clinton spokeswoman Karen Finney said. “Both women are proven leaders who’ve raised children, so dealing with Congress would be a snap!” she added, having apparently never seen Congress. Democratic strategist Chris Lehane also said that “this reflects the growing awareness that it is time for the glass ceiling of the last old boys club to be firmly shattered.” “I look forward to the day when a woman can run for the presidency without so much parody and fanfare,” ex-Al Gore campaign manager Donna Brazile said. A recent poll from Qunnipiac University found that in a hypothetical presidential race, Hillary Clinton would likely trump any Democratic challengers. “Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would start a 2016 presidential campaign with enormous advantages,” said Qunnipiac’s Peter A. Brown. “She obviously is by far the best known and her more than 20 years in the public spotlight allows her to create a very favorable impression on the American people.” As for Michelle Obama joining the ticket? We’d put the chances of that at just above microscopic, but a future run for office could be more likely. Clinton ran for U.S. Senate in the last year of husband Bill’s presidency, serving from 2001-2009 before joining the Obama administration as its top diplomat. Most likely, if she’s interested in politics at all beyond 2016, Michelle would follow that blueprint. Until then, let the speculation continue to run rampant.
Demi Lovato may be returning to The X Factor for Season 3 later this year, but the 20-year-old is making some changes in her life. Namely to her hair. Lovato debuted a new, short haircut in a tweet to fans on Tuesday night: The singer did away with her long locks for a shoulder-grazing style complete with side-swept bangs, reminiscent of her Sonny with a Chance days. It’s not clear if she actually cut anything, of course. She could have just removed the extensions she had. Either way, it’s a big change from the youngster. Is it one you like? What do you think of Demi Lovato ‘s hair? Love it! So cute on her! Looks great D! Eh, not a huge fan to be honest. View Poll »

Conan O’Brien apparently hasn’t seen The Vampire Diaries Season 4 . The talk show host was openly skeptical about Nina Dobrev’s chops as an action star last night, telling her he just can’t envision her as a badass. “I don’t mean to say the wrong thing, you’re obviously very attractive, very talented, I just don’t see you as someone who’s like kicking ass,” he told her. And then she demonstrated just how wrong he was … Nina Dobrev on Conan – Action Hero Skills The actress and co-star/girlfriend of Ian Somerhalder also discussed how she gets sex scene advice … from her mom. In surprising detail. Check it out: Nina Dobrev on Conan – Sex Scene Advice After a three-week hiatus, The Vampire Diaries returns tomorrow, and maybe if we’re lucky, we’ll see if Nina takes her mom’s back-arching tips to heart.
For reasons that defy comprehension, Kandi Burruss wants the world to know that she played a role in “Tardy for the Party.” The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is suing fellow cast member Kim Zolciak for unlawfully licensing, distributing and selling the track, which she wrote and Kim sang on. Or at least attempted to sing in. Kim Zolciak – Tardy for the Party In a statement to Too Fab, Zolciak says in response to the legal action: “This is nothing short of a publicity stunt, I find this lawsuit funny yet sad. Coming after me now and this song is 4 years old? I have in fact overpaid Kandi and have documents to prove it and my legal team will handle this accordingly.” This just in: NBC is moving #Smash to Saturdays at 9 pm beginning April 6. Ironically, the lawsuit is likely good publicity for Zolciak’s “Don’t Be Tardy,” as that spinoff premieres on Bravo on April 16. Kandi, meanwhile, is being represented by a name Bravo fans know well: Phaedra Parks .
Do not anger the Beliebers. It’s a lesson that’s inherent to those who report celebrity gossip , but one Olivia Wilde had to find out the hard way after chastising the singer on Twitter. After Wilde told Justin Bieber to ” put a f–king shirt on ” earlier this month, her account was bombarded with irate messages from riled up Beliebers. Very intelligent and totally sensible ones, obviously. Watch below as the actress reads some of the best Tweets she received on the Tonight Show … Olivia Wilde Reads Beliebers’ Tweets Wilde also offered a preface: “This started because Justin Bieber went out without his shirt on… he was in London, and it’s so cold there and I was concerned.” “”I have a 19-year-old brother in London, and it’s freezing! And if I saw him without a shirt, I would tell him to put it on. So I told Justin Bieber, ‘Put your f–king shirt on.'” “But I said it with love!” Safe to say Bieber fans didn’t all see it that way, and that their beloved idol has had his share of interesting incidents in London over the past few weeks. If you recall, he had the worst birthday ever, walked around with no shirt on, collapsed on stage and threatened to f–king beat the f–k out of a photographer . Wilde has not Tweeted about that incident … yet. Frankly she might want to. She may be too old to be a lesbian, but she’s not too old to offer advice.
It was a time for major news on Good Morning America today. First, Taylor Swift debuted the music video for “22.” Then, “Love and War” singer Tamar Braxton announced that she and husband Vince Herbert are expecting their first child! “I have a love on top! I am pregnant!” Braxton said, referencing a track by Beyonce and telling ABC’s Lara Spencer: “I feel great and greedy at the same time. This is the most I’ve eaten ever.” When is she due? Braxton would not reveal, but did say she’s “almost there” and there are not “many months to go” until she’s a mother. Look for more from Tamar and Vince when Braxton Family Values premieres its second season on March 14 at 9 p.m. on WE tv.
