Trayvon Martin’s Big Brother Doesn’t Believe Zimmerman’s Shady Story: “He Wasn’t Violent. He’s Smarter Than That”

Trayvon Martin’s Brother Jahvaris Fulton Speaks On His Behalf With all of George Zimmerman’s well connected defenders clamoring to his defense, it’s good to hear Trayvon Martin’s big brother Jahvaris speaking up on his behalf! A lot of conflicting statements have been made about the night Trayvon Martin was shot to death by volunteer neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman. Martin’s big brother doesn’t want any of them to cloud the memory of the bright, positive teen he’d been close to. In an interview with CNN’s “A360,” 21-year-old Jahvaris Fulton said Zimmerman’s description of the fatal night –and his claim that he acted in self defense– doesn’t match the Trayvon he knew. “Based on what I heard, with the 911 tapes and all the evidence, he tried to get away from the situation,” ” the soft-spoken college student told the network on Friday. “He wasn’t violent. So for him to actually jump on someone he doesn’t even know, to me that’s not him. He’s smarter than that.” Fulton’s comments echo what he told local media in late March, shortly after the shooter’s father and brother took to national television to bolster Zimmerman’s self defense claims. “I was listening to Zimmerman’s father speak yesterday, and he said something like, my brother was on top of his son and said ‘You’re going to die tonight,’” Fulton told Miami’s CBS 4. “That doesn’t sound like my brother at all.” In his interview with CNN, Fulton said that Martin was an honor student who couldn’t wait to go to college after visiting his brother at Florida International University during spring break. “I would like to remember him as… someone who’s positive, happy, bright future ahead of him,” Fulton said.”He was probably going to be somebody.” We’re glad Jahvaris is helping to keep his brother’s memory alive. Hi Hater: Bruce “Melted Candle Face” Jenner Says He’s Not Feelin’ Kimmy Cakes’ Relationship With Kanye West… “I’m Not That Excited”

Step-daddy knows best… Mom-ager, Kris Jenner might be thrilled over her daughter’s relationship with Yeezy, but as the world marvels at the new power couple lknown as Kim-Ye, there’s one person who is far from happy with the Hollywood union… Kim’s stepdad: At a speaking engagement in Boston on Wednesday, Bruce Jenner told the crowd: “I’m not that excited, but we’ll see.” “Kimberly and I have had a conversation about them and their potential relationship,” said the former Olympian, who is thought to be most worried about the soon-to-be twice divorced Kim jumping into a relationship so quickly. Bruce’s cold reaction to the new romance is a sharp contrast to that of his wife, as RadarOnline.com previously reported, publicity-hungry Kris Jenner is thrilled about having the Grammy winner as a potential son-in-law. “She loves that they’re together and thinks Kanye is a huge step up for Kim after her marriage to Kris Humphries,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “Dating Kanye puts Kim in a whole new stratosphere. Kris was just a basketball player making a few million dollars a year, but Kanye is a world-wide multi-millionaire superstar.” Meanwhile, Kim’s little sister Khloe agrees with Bruce, and is concerned about Kim jumping back in too soon. “Khloe just wishes that Kim wouldn’t get involved with anyone for at least a year,” revealed an insider close to the family. “Kim isn’t even divorced yet and Khloe is extremely worried that Kris (Humphries) is going to try and attempt to use her new relationship as ammunition to score a bigger settlement.” Bruce has had to watch his infamous step-daughter go through a lot of heartbreak when it comes to men, do you think he’s right to air his opinions or should he just let his attention slorin’ seed do her thing? To Whom Do These Crusty Toes Belong?

The feet you’re looking at belong to one of the most successful and highly acclaimed ladies in the music business. In other words, she definitely has enough money for regular pedicures. The entertainer whose hooves you’re looking at has decades of success under her belt and feet that pretty much have lived to tell the tale of all those days and nights of dancing on them. Can you guess who she is? Madonna must have run out of time for a pedicure before heading to her Truth or Dare fragrance launch at Macy’s Thursday. For a woman who is a runner and a dancer, are Madge’s toes really that busted? Or should we leave her alone cuz it could be so much worse? WENN/INFPhoto More On Bossip! Clap Back: T.I.’s New Aussie Rapper Iggy Azalea Responds To Eve’s Diss Towards Her Music

White girrrrrrrrrrls, gone wild! Iggy Azalea Responds To Disses From Eve And Azealia Banks When asked her opinion about newer female MCs during an interview with The Women of Hip-Hop last week, Eve admitted although she enjoys Harlem MC Azealia Banks, she isn’t a big fan of Australian femcee Iggy Azalea. “I like Azealia Banks — I think her style is dope,” she said. “If you listen to her lyrics, she knows how to wordplay and I think that’s cute. I’m not really into the Iggy Azalea chick. I can’t really f**k with her music, but her look is crazy. I just can’t believe it.” XXL caught up with Iggy during the Freshmen Live Tour stop in New York City on Monday (April 9), and asked the leggy blonde for her thoughts on E-V-E’s comment. “I like Eve,” she began. “Everybody is different, everybody hasn’t lived out of the box and for you to even know if it’s real, you have to kind of be an out-the-box person or somebody who likes something they’re not suppose to [like]. A girl like her that raps is expected, so, how could you understand something so different? “I’m not mad at [Eve] for not understanding it,” she continued. “How could you if you’ve never been ostracized or loved something you weren’t suppose to love? Everything you’ve loved you’re allowed to love, so, how could you understand me? Thus, how could you know if it’s real? I used to be like, ‘It is real, let me prove it to you. Now, I don’t care if you think it’s real or not because it’s what I love, it’s my life. I don’t put my story all out there for you because I don’t need to put my story out there and prove it. I don’t give a f**k if you think I am or not ’cause that girl in the crowd understand it and that’s who it’s for, if you don’t then it’s not for you.” In response to other Femcees, namely her name-alike Azealia Banks, the Grand Hustle 1st lady says: “Females are competitive like that and that’s how it is,” she said matter-of-factly. “I’m sure if I was the best sprinter in the world, all the other sprinters would hate me and I would hate them, too. It’s the same thing— it’s competition, it’s women. I don’t take offense to it. I don’t wake up thinking about another woman. I think about what I am going to do to make sure my career has longevity because that’s my only job. I just think about that, not who can be doing my job better than me —no one can, because I’m the only one that can be me and they’re the only ones who can be them.” “This is my day and it’s my achievement. You have to work to have your own achievements, with all due respect. Instead of worrying about who else is on there, you should just be happy that I’m on there as a woman for women, and if you want to have your own achievement, work and have your own achievement. I can’t take what’s meant for you and you can’t take what’s meant for me.” Whether you hate her or love her, it sounds like Iggy is focused on the right things. Are you feelin’ her music yet, or do you agree with E-V-E?? Images via WENN Source More On Bossip! Judge In Trayvon Martin Case Has Conflict, May Have To Excuse Herself Because Her Hubby’s Partner Got A Gig Talkin’ About Case For CNN

Judge In George Zimmerman Case Reveals Conflict, May Step Down We’d say get used to this lady’s face but it turns out she may not be sticking around for long after all. Cable TV and courtroom ethics collided in the Trayvon Martin case Friday when the judge suddenly announced that she has a conflict of interest that might force her to step down. Circuit Judge Jessica Recksiedler said her husband’s legal partner, Mark NeJame, has been hired by CNN to do the legal analysis on the controversial case. Recksiedler, who has been on the bench for barely a year, dropped that bomb at what had initially been billed as a surprise bail hearing for accused killer George Zimmerman. “I’m very very concerned that this is going to be problematic moving forward,” Zimmerman defense attorney Mark O’Mara said on a conference call. “If you choose to file a motion to disqualify me as judge it has to be in writing,” Recksiedler responded. So far neither O’Mara nor prosecutors have moved to disqualify her. Recksiedler, 39, of Sanford, Fla., was assigned to the case on Thursday morning. Her husband, Jason, works with NeJame, an Orlando lawyer who is now on CNN’s payroll. Recksiedler said it was important to disclose the relationship before the case goes forward. Zimmerman, who was charged with second-degree murder on Thursday, was not privy to the conference call. NeJame and O’Mara are also connected — both did legal commentary during the sensational Casey Anthony trial. Also, NeJame reportedly recommended O’Mara to Zimmerman, when he was looking for a defense attorney. The courtroom chaos came a day after the 28-year-old neighborhood watchman made his first court appearance for killing the unarmed black teenager. Zimmerman spent the night alone in a jail cell — isolated from other prisoners for his own protection, and comforted only by a stash of junk food. O’Mara, who is trying to get him released on bail before his formal arraignment on May 29, told National Public Radio he doesn’t expect the case to go to trial this year. “It would be guesswork,” O’Mara said. “But, most cases like this, I cannot imagine it going to trial within the year.” O’Mara also said he doesn’t think Zimmerman could get a fair trial right now — and certainly not in Seminole County, Fla. “You know, the wounds are still quite raw,” he said. “And part of it is, I would like to give the community some time, to begin to build back up its trust in the criminal justice process.” Asked if he would request a change of venue at Zimmerman’s arraignment, O’Mara said “I have no idea.” “It’s much too early,” he said. “That process really should occur only when you’re getting close to trial.” O’Mara, who is representing Zimmerman pro bono, said he got his wife’s okay before he accepted the job. “Because, obviously, it’s a fairly enormous undertaking,” he said. The fact that Zimmerman wasn’t immediately arrested for killing 17-year-old Martin caused a nationwide uproar — especially after 911 tapes revealed he continued to tail the teenager even after a dispatcher told him, “We don’t need you to do that.” Asked to explain why Zimmerman disregarded the dispatcher, O’Mara said he has yet to discuss that with his client. But O’Mara added that Florida’s controversial Stand Your Ground Law, which Zimmerman invoked to claim self-defense in the shooting, will certainly be part of their legal strategy. Zimmerman was arrested Wednesday — 45 days after Sanford, Fla. police and prosecutors refused to charge him with murdering Martin. Is everyone in Florida cousins or something? Sure seems like George Zimmerman has a lot of connections. We don’t know if we would want her ruling the case if we were the prosecution, what with her hubby’s partner making recommendations for Zimmerman’s defense and all. SMH. ‘Dancing With The Stars’: Donald Driver Rules Rock Week

Melissa Gilbert is taken to hospital after injuring herself during performance. By Kelley L. Carter Donald Driver on “Dancing With the Stars” Photo: ABC For the fourth week of this season of “Dancing With the Stars,” the celebrities rocked it out. Glam rock-star style was everywhere — bedazzled outfits, eyeliner galore, tight leather and familiar rock tunes were all over the ballroom on Monday night’s telecast. The night’s top scorer was NFL superstar Donald Driver, who danced away with 27 points out of 30, impressing judges with his shirtless dance routine. Here’s how the others fared during Rock Week: Sherri Shepherd and Val Chmerkovskiy The TV talk-show co-host did the tango. Judges thought that despite a few issues with her feet, she did a decent job. Judge Bruno Tonioli said she needed to be sharper, and Carrie Ann Inaba told her, “It was good, but I think what was lacking was your normal exuberance.” 21/30 Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas Normally, the opera singer hangs right at the top of the leader board. This week, judges thought that her paso doble was unrefined. Head judge Len Goodman said that her performance “failed to deliver.” Tonioli said she was missing definition but that she set loose “a whirlwind of fury.” 24/30 Jaleel White and Kym Johnson The actor danced the tango to the Rolling Stones hit “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” and he failed to impress judges as he did the first week. Goodman said that White needed to attack the dance more. Inaba said it was “funky and weird.” 22/30 Melissa Gilbert and Maks Chmerkovskiy Her score didn’t reflect it, but judges liked her bad-girl take with her paso doble routine. Tonioli said her sexy pose was “hot-blooded,” and Inaba said it was her best showing yet. She apparently slipped at one point during the dance — the TV audience didn’t notice — but before the end of the show, host Tom Beregon announced that she had injured herself and was taken to the hospital. 22/30 Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd Driver was the dancing king of the night. The wide receiver’s paso doble was soundtracked to Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze,” and judges found it to be sexy (he danced shirtless) and raunchy — all good things. 27/30 Gladys Knight and Tristan MacManus The soul legend danced to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and judges were less than impressed. She landed in the bottom of the leader board for her tango. Judges said that it didn’t quite come together for her, but Inaba said that it was “by far your most ambitious routine.” 20/30 William Levy and Cheryl Burke Judges didn’t care too much for the hot Latin actor’s jive, but their disdain could barely be heard over the audience screams. Inaba told him he needed to work on staying focused, but added, “You have something special.” 22/30 Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower The Disney star impressed judges with his Viennese waltz, and Inaba said that it was “cute, like watching the climax of a Disney movie.” 26/30 Maria Menounos and Derek Hough The TV journalist danced through the pain — she has stress fractures in her feet, and said in her rehearsal segment, “My feet have been killing me and I’m afraid something’s really wrong” — but she tangoed anyway, and judges loved what they saw. Inaba applauded the chemistry the two have together. 26/30 Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff The pop singer rounded out the last of the celebrity routines, dancing the tango, and once again, judges didn’t care too much for what he turned in. Tonioli said it was “a little messy in the corner.” 23/30 Which celebrity are you rooting for on “Dancing With the Stars”? Tell us in the comments!

Behind The Scenes: New Orleans Saints Former Defensive Coach Gregg Williams Profanity-Laced Bounty Gate Speech About Attacking Players! [Audio]

Gregg Williams is off the chain! This is a must listen! New Orleans Saints Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams’ Pre-Game Bounty Speech Before his final game as defensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints, Gregg Williams stepped before his players and urged them to physically hurt players on the 49ers. Audio of Williams’ speech to the Saints’ defense was captured by filmmaker Sean Pamphilon, who is working on a documentary about former Saints player Steve Gleason, who is suffering from ALS. Pamphilon has put part of the audio of the profanity-filled speech on YouTube. Pamphilon also passed on the audio to Michael Silver of Yahoo Sports because, he said, he was extremely uncomfortable with what Williams said about trying to hurt 49ers quarterback Alex Smith and other players. Williams, who masterminded the Saints’ bounty program, hinted that he would financially reward a Saints player who hurts a 49ers player. “At one point Williams says, ‘We hit [expletive] Smith right there’ – then he points under his chin [and continues] – ‘remember me.’ Then he rubs his thumb against his index and middle fingers – the cash sign – and says, ‘I got the first one. I got the first one. Go get it. Go lay that [expletive] out,’” Pamphilon told Silver. Williams has long loved the phrase, “Kill the head and the body will die,” and he used that phrase in talking to his players. He also specifically told them to go for the head of 49ers running back Frank Gore… Gregg Williams has already been indefinitely suspended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. This audio may make it difficult for Williams ever to get reinstated. This is the smoking gun that makes crystal clear that Williams wanted his players not just to play tough, physical defense, but to injure their opponents. Do you think that the NFL is getting too strict when it comes to rules, suspensions, and fines?? Image via AP Source Hit the flip to hear the speech in its’ entirety.

Nike NFL Uniforms: Hit or Miss?

The world of fashion met the world of professional sports in Brooklyn today, as some of the NFL’s biggest stars gathered with representatives from Nike and Commissioner Roger Goodell to unveil new uniforms for the league. Dubbed the Nike Elite 51, the shirts and pants are meant to be more elastic and lighter. As you can see by this Chicago Bears mockup, the actual look varies little: “The performance is so important for the athletes,” Goodell said. “What we tried to do is innovate. Even if the look doesn’t change, there’s innovation… There’ll be more to come.” Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ray Rice of the Baltimore Ravens, Alex Smith of the San Francisco 49ers and Wes Welker of the New England Patriots were among the stars who modeled the new uniforms on stage. Said Super Bowl hero Victor Cruz of the Super Bowl of the champion New York Giants: “They’re tight. You can’t get pulled or snagged on. That’s the biggest thing for me: making sure that I’m sleek and I’m fast and I can’t be grabbed or held.”

Donald Driver Pays Tribute to Fallen Friend on Dancing With the Stars

Green Bay Packers star Donald Driver’s tribute to a friend who died of cancer was one of the emotional high moments of Dancing With the Stars this week. “I can never get it out of my mind,” the NFL player said. “He died right there in my arms. I grabbed his hand and all he could do is look up. He took another breath and that was it,” he added, tearing up. Like Katherine Jenkins ‘ dance for her late father, Driver’s effort with Peta Murgatroyd was somber, yet with ample energy and uplifting emotion: Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd – Rumba (DWTS Week 3) He carried her across a fog-filled dance floor and began a deliberate series of interpretive dance moves, at one point on his knees as she fell into his arms. Their routine concluded with Peta atop a staircase as if going toward the light. The judges expressed minor quibbles, but all praised Driver’s performance. With a strong 26 points, Donald and Peta ended the evening in sole possession of fourth place out of 11 pairings. They should be safe, don’t you agree?

Chad OchoCinco Redoes Deal To Stay With New England Patriots Evelyn might need to get him a full-time gig on Basketball Wives until their spinoff airs: New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco agreed to restructure his contract for the coming season, lowering his base salary to $1 million from the $3 million he had been scheduled to earn, according to a league source. The restructured deal ensures that Ochocinco will be returning to Patriots training camp this summer. The paperwork on the contract is expected to be turned in to the NFL Players Association this week. Ochocinco, 34, struggled in his first season with the Patriots after being acquired in a trade with the Cincinnati Bengals, catching just 15 passes for 276 yards and a touchdown. The Patriots have added many new faces at the receiver position this offseason too, agreeing to deals with Brandon Lloyd, Donte’ Stallworth and Anthony Gonzalez. Deion Branch agreed to a one-year deal to return and Wes Welker received the team’s franchise tag. Hmmmm…sounds like he’ll be cut when the season is over.
