‘Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, Part 2’ Clip To Debut At Movie Awards!

Emma Watson will present exclusive first look at Sunday’s show. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Eric Ditzian Daniel Radcliffe and Ralph Fiennes in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 Photo: Warner Bros. It all ends on July 15, but at this Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards , Emma Watson will present a sneak peek at “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2” . With only three days left until the big show, we’ve been rolling out the many reasons you’ll want to tune in to this year’s Jason Sudeikis-hosted event, and a preview clip of the hotly anticipated final installment in the “Potter” series is just the latest. At last year’s Movie Awards, MTV debuted an exclusive look at part 1 of “Deathly Hallows,” which teased the movie’s dark tone; “Part 2” looks to be even darker — and more action-packed. Also on Sunday, “Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be presenting an exclusive scene from “Breaking Dawn” at the show, which kicks off at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. (And as if that weren’t enough, a “Breaking Dawn” surprise is coming your way during the 7:30 p.m. ET/PT pre-show.) “Deathly Hallows, Part 1” is up for six awards at Sunday’s ceremony, including Best Kiss, Best Fight, Best Villain, Best Female Performance, Best Male Performance and Best Movie . When MTV News caught up with 2011 Best Villain nominee Tom Felton earlier this month, the “Harry Potter” star said he was “humbled” by the nod, a category in which he was also nominated and won last year. “All I can send is my endless appreciation to everyone who is online and campaigning,” he said. “I really appreciate it. It’s an endless, sweet gesture, after 10 years, that Draco gets a lot of love. It’s ironic, in a way, but I love it and appreciate it very much.” Will wizards, vampires or dream thieves steal the 2011 MTV Movie Awards ? Find out June 5, when the 20th annual show airs live at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Tune in at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT that night for the “America’s Best Dance Crew” finale and Movie Awards pre-show, loaded with live action from the red carpet, exclusive movie clips and a special edition of “After Hours.” To get into the magical movie mood, it’s Sneak Peek Week — five days of exclusives and interviews with the casts of “Fright Night,” “Horrible Bosses” and more. Pre-Matrimony-dom: Kim Kardashian And Kris Humphries Engagement Dinner (Photos)

Khloe Kardashian was nice enough to share family photos of her sister Kim’s official engagement party to her baller beau Kris Humphries … Via Khloe’s blog : Hi dolls. I just wanted to share these pics from the night Kim and Kris got engaged. The entire family got together at my mom’s house for a “family dinner” — none of us thought it would be any different from our usual family get-togethers. Kim walked in late (OF COURSE) and nonchalantly flashed that rock of hers and we all started screaming! Well… It took us a few minutes to notice, but once we did, the everyone started freaking out LOL. My mom obviously went all out with ponies covered in glitter and a magnificent princess cake. Would you expect any less of her?? It was such a happy night — so much love in the air. I know that sounds cheesy, but that’s the only way to explain it. SMH at the “ponies and glitter”…peep more shots below:

‘Twilight’ Star Jackson Rathbone Sings Movie Awards Best Line Noms

Jackson Rathbone picks up his guitar and plucks through lines from Justin Timberlake, Emma Stone and more. By Ryan J. Downey, with reporting by Eric Ditzian Jackson Rathbone Photo: MTV News If this whole “Twilight” thing doesn’t work out, Jackson Rathbone could have a great career translating movie dialogue into catchy little jingles for big awards shows. What better way to introduce a new category at the MTV Movie Awards than with song? And who better to turn one of the categories into a hummable tune than the multitalented Rathbone? When the 26-year-old actor isn’t occupied with all the thrilling engagements and obligations involved with being part of the massive “Twilight” franchise, he can be found rocking with his band 100 Monkeys . The man widely known as Jasper Hale in “The Twilight Saga” is a multi-instrumentalist capable of shredding on guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, mandolins, trumpets and harmonicas. During a break from shooting a new movie called “Live at the Foxes Den,” in which he plays a guy who quits a major law firm to become a singer, Rathbone was kind enough to strap on an instrument and put all the 2011 MTV Movie Awards Best Line from a Movie nominees to song. Watch as Rathbone sings (and strums along with) some of the most memorable dialogue of the past year from blockbusters and Oscar contenders, including lines from Jessie Eisenberg in “The Social Network”; Justin Timberlake and Andrew Garfield in “The Social Network”; Tom Hardy in “Inception”; Amanda Bynes and Emma Stone in “Easy A”; and little Alexys Nycole Sanchez in “Grown Ups.” Check out the video and then be sure to vote for your favorite line . ‘X-Men: First Class’: Meet The Mutants

James McAvoy, Kevin Bacon and more of the film’s stars lead us through this new batch of X-Men. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Eric Ditzian James McAvoy in “X-Men: First Class” Photo: 20th Century Fox With “X-Men: First Class” being the fourth “X-Men” film released this decade, you might think you know a thing or two about our favorite friendly (and not-so-friendly) neighborhood mutants, but the latest installment of the franchise, out Friday (June 3), is here to prove you wrong. MTV News caught up with the stars of the summer blockbuster recently, and they were more than willing to clear up any preconceived notions we might have had about their characters. “Professor Charles Xavier, when we meet him, is actually Dr. Charles Xavier, but he becomes a professor during the course of the movie,” James McAvoy clarified. “His power is he can read, bend and manipulate your mind, and his relationship with Erik [a.k.a. Magneto] is probably the closest relationship he’s ever had.” “Erik Lehnsherr-slash-Magneto, he is ruthless, intelligent, charming and adaptable,” Michael Fassbender teased. Jennifer Lawrence explained how her character, Raven Darkholme/ Mystique, is connected to the two main men. “Magneto to her is kind of this iconic man that’s kind of the crush that she’s always had and she admires him very much. And Charles [Xavier] has always been like a brother to her,” Lawrence said. There are quite a few new characters to add to the mix as well, most notably Kevin Bacon as bad guy Sebastian Shaw, the head of the Hellfire Club. “My power is to be able to absorb energy and harness it and throw it back at whoever is trying to use that energy against me,” Bacon explained to MTV. Then there’s Emma Frost, played by January Jones, who is Shaw’s right-hand woman. “Her powers are twofold,” Jones explained. “She has the mental capacity to read minds or control them, and then also, physically, she can change into a diamond form, which makes her physically indestructible.” Some other new characters are Zoe Kravitz’s Angel Salvadore, a go-go dancer who is able to sprout wings, and Lucas Till’s Havoc, a liability who has no control over the beams he can sprout from his body. You can bet there are plenty more mutants that join the first class, but you’ll have to meet them on your own in theaters now. Emma Stone And Bryce Dallas Howard Bond Over ‘Spider-Man’ Role

New Gwen Stacy says ‘it was pretty great to be together’ on ‘The Help’ set when she learned the casting news. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Emma Stone Photo: MTV News WEST HOLLYWOOD, California — In a weird twist of fate, Emma Stone found out she’d be playing Gwen Stacy in the latest installment of “Spider-Man” while on the set of “The Help” co-starring the previous franchise’s Gwen, Bryce Dallas Howard. “I found out while I was on set of ‘The Help,’ ” she said about the Andrew Garfield-starring “Amazing Spider-Man” during “The Help” Q&A session for MTV’s Sneak Peek Week. “It was pretty great to be together for that.” Howard said she was almost as excited about the casting as Stone was. “Representing as redheads!” she proclaimed onstage in front of an excited crowd at the Pacific Design Center. “I’m one of those people that goes online and reads gossip about movies, so pretty early on, there was some buzz,” she said, adding that she stormed into Stone’s trailer the minute she heard the news. “I was stoked.” With so much buzz about the new “Spider-Man” film, it seems that Stone will be just as surprised as fans to see the flick. “I’ve seen nothing, I promise. I’ve seen small action sequences for the 3-D, and it looked terrible,” she joked. “I really haven’t seen [anything].” So what did Stone do to research the role of Gwen — besides leaning on Howard for her first-hand account, of course. “I read a pretty comprehensive ‘Death of the Stacys’ book … and it’s a really amazing book to learn the story of Captain Stacy and Gwen Stacy,” she said. “And I’ve read a various amount of comics.” Will wizards, vampires or dream thieves steal the 2011 MTV Movie Awards ? ‘The Help’ Stars Talk Tearjerkers At MTV’s Sneak Peek Week

Emma Stone and Bryce Dallas Howard open up about book-turned-movie during Q&A session. By Jocelyn Vena Emma Stone and Bryce Dallas Howard Photo: MTV News WEST HOLLYWOOD, California — Emma Stone and Bryce Dallas Howard spoke to a packed room at the Pacific Design Center on Thursday night (June 2) for the latest installment in MTV’s Sneak Peek Week, opening up about retro tearjerker “The Help,” which screened to an excited crowd shortly before the chat. Since the book-turned-film is certain emotional, we asked its leading ladies if they ever reach for the tissues in the movie theater. “Oh, I cry!” Emma Stone admitted. “It’s shocking I’m not crying right now. I cried at ‘Air Bud.’ I cried at ‘Spice World.’ ” But what about when she watches her own movies? “That’s crying out of terror and self-loathing,” she joked. All joking aside, Stone is really proud of “The Help” and “felt it reflected the book.” “When you read the book, you have a vision of those characters too,” she said. “I definitely understand being protective of the material.” “The Help” is the film adaptation of the best-selling novel set in the South during the civil-rights movement. It stars Stone, Howard and Viola Davis and focuses on the bonds formed in the face of adversity. Stone is the flick’s protagonist, Skeeter, who works to make a change through writing a book about the hardships felt by minorities in the South during this pivotal time in history. “She’s a bit of a modern woman,” Stone said of her character. “When I was younger, I thought I wanted to be a writer. She’s curious about people and she’s questioning her life.” Howard, meanwhile, plays the bigoted Hilly, and the actress said she latched onto something very specific about the character to make her relatable. “The thing I eventually grabbed onto was her ignorance,” Howard explained. “Once I understood, I then could attempt to play that character.” Stone used her costumes to help her get into character. “The accent is always a major concern, and then, of course, knowing how to be Southern, there’s a lot of challenges,” Stone said. “This is the first time I felt more in character after putting on the wardrobe. It was wonderful to have that.” Stick with MTV News all week as we gear up for Sunday’s Movie Awards with a Sneak Peek Week screening and live-stream Q&A session every night this week. Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV Pushed Back To August

Rep confirms that album will drop on August 29, while DJ Khaled’s newest is pushed to July 19. By D.L. Chandler Lil Wayne Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage Although Weezy gave his adoring public a new single “How to Love” last week, Lil Wayne fans will have to wait just a bit longer than expected for the Young Money head honcho’s ninth studio album, Tha Carter IV. One of the New Orleans native’s publicists confirmed to MTV News on Thursday (June 2) that the album is now due out on August 29. This is certainly not the first time the highly anticipated album has been pushed back. With some reports stating that Wayne had been working on the fourth installment of his Carter series back in 2008, Young Money president Mack Maine once said that Wayne wanted to release his opus upon the day of his release from prison last year. Then, in March, on the first night of his I Am Still Music Tour , he announced that it would drop on May 16. “It can come out tomorrow ’cause I’m so finished,” Wayne told MTV News at the time. But in April, the date was again pushed back until June 21. “He’s still perfecting a few things, he’s a perfectionist … changing a few lines,” Young Money president Mack Maine told us, hinting that they were waiting on some huge features to complete the album. “If you calculate all of that, by the time we would’ve finished mixing, we wouldn’t have met the [original] due date to turn in the album.” Lil Wayne isn’t alone in the pushback department either. DJ Khaled’s fifth album and major label debut We The Best Forever (a collaborative effort between his We The Best Music Group imprint and Cash Money) was slated for a June 28 release but will instead see the light of day on July 19. MTV Movie Awards Gift Bag: Something Just For Robert Pattinson!

Jim Cantiello leads you through the year’s swanky swag before Sunday’s show. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Jim Cantiello 2011 MTV Movie Awards gift bag Photo: Sohyung Kang/ MTV News One of the benefits of being behind the scenes in the midst of the madness leading up to the MTV Movie Awards is our fly-on-the-wall vantage point, and we’ve been getting all kinds of insider glimpses into the prep work that goes into the show, including red carpets rolling out, sets being built and lights getting adjusted. On Thursday (June 2), in addition to chatting with host Jason Sudeikis and the finalists of “America’s Best Dance Crew” ahead of Sunday’s big finale, we sent our intrepid reporter Jim Cantiello into the swanky world of swag, where he got a sneak peek at the goodies that make up this year’s official MTV Movie Awards gift bag. One of Jim’s favorite things, i.e. items that were sparkly and/or eye-catching enough for him to pick up, included Murad’s bronzer, which he suggested would be a great get for Robert Pattinson and any of the other “Twilight” castmembers who play pale-skinned vampires. Speaking of “Twilight,” Pro Beauty Tools is gifting celebrities with a bunch of their professional hair-styling tools, the standout being the styling brush used on the set of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.” There are too many goodies to name, but a few of the other highlights include a $50 Starbucks card, Ralph Lauren Fragrances’ Big Pony Collection scents for men and the Romance and Summer Romance for women, a Kobo e-reader loaded with 100 books, a Casio TRYX camera and a two-night stay and specially designed bag from Andaz 5th Avenue. How does this year’s goodie bag compare to past years? Last year’s gifts included season-one DVDs of MTV’s hit “Jersey Shore” and fashion PR maven Kelly Cutrone’s book “If You Have to Cry, Go Outside.” Will wizards, vampires or dream thieves steal the 2011 MTV Movie Awards ? Justin Bieber In 3-D Is ‘Insane,’ Jimmy Fallon Says

‘Never Say Never’ star is up for Best Jaw Dropping Moment at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards. By Jocelyn Vena Jimmy Fallon Photo: MTV News Justin Bieber is known for making his fans scream their heads off whenever he’s around, so it’s no surprise that he’s up for Best Jaw Dropping Moment at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards for his 3-D concert spectacular “Never Say Never.” When MTV News caught up with two-time MTV Movie Awards host Jimmy Fallon on the Universal Studios lot, just a stone’s throw from the Gibson Amphitheatre where Sunday’s show will take place, he explained Bieber’s jaw-dropping abilities. “Bieber is just so jaw-dropping because Bieber in 2-D is enough, [but] Bieber in 3-D? Hold on to your horses,” he said of the pop superstar, who is up against James Franco (“127 Hours”), Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page (“Inception”), Natalie Portman (“Black Swan”) and Steve-O (“Jackass 3D”). “It’s insane.” Fallon knows a thing or two about the Movie Awards, since he co-hosted with Kirsten Dunst in 2001 and returned solo in 2005. He’s pretty sure fellow “Saturday Night Live” funnyman Jason Sudeikis, who is tapped to host the show this year, has it in the bag when it comes to hosting. “It’s exciting. The Movie Awards are the most fun. Jason Sudeikis is a great host; he’s going to be great at it,” he said. “I’ve hosted in the past. I hosted with Kirsten Dunst. It’s just a blast. MTV just brings the fun back into movies.” Sudeikis may already know what he’s doing, but he did add some words of encouragement for his buddy: “Jason, you know what to do, buddy.
