‘Breaking Dawn’ Is A ‘Fulfilling’ Finale, Jackson Rathbone Says

‘It really wraps up the story in such a beautiful way,’ the ‘Twilight’ star tells MTV News. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Eric Ditzian Jackson Rathbone Photo: MTV News There’s plenty of “Twilight” goodness to look forward to at Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards , but what Jackson Rathbone is most looking forward to is the sneak peek of “Breaking Dawn” that his castmates Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will present during the big show. Rathbone shared his enthusiasm for the final two “Twilight Saga” films when we caught up with him on the set of his new film “Live at the Foxes Den,” describing the finale as “the culmination of this saga, and it really wraps up the story in such a beautiful way. We had the amazing [director] Bill Condon on, and I was very, very excited to play Jasper once again in these films and kind of step up.” Fans who have read the book know Jasper and his lady Alice (Ashley Greene) have a very significant role in the “Breaking Dawn” plot arc, but Rathbone said he was more excited to show off Jasper’s love and devotion to his family in the next two movies than he was for his beefed-up role. “There’s an amazing moment in ‘Breaking Dawn’ – I can’t say which movie, though. I’m sorry, I’m not technically allowed. But there’s a very fulfilling moment for myself as an actor and as a fan of the books and of the film series that you get to see, in the end, really how much these characters love one another and how much they function as a family, even though they are kind of an odd family of vampires. Vegetarian vampires, at that. They’re an odd bunch,” Rathbone said with a laugh. “But, I mean, the way they love and feel about each other and the way they protect and support one another I think is beautiful, so I think we’re going to get to see that happen in ‘Breaking Dawn.’ ” Will wizards, vampires or dream thieves steal the 2011 MTV Movie Awards ? Marion Cotillard To Be Pimped Out by a Low Life

Looks like foxy Frenchwoman Marion Cotillard will be going from the high life (she’s playing a rich philanthropist in The Dark Knight Rises ) to Low Life in theaters next year! Marion has joined the cast of Low Life , a depraved drama about sex slavery. Marion is set to play a woman immigrating from Poland to America who is forced to trade sex for medicine for her ill sister. When they arrive in New York, Marion falls in with onscreen low life (and real-life (former?) crazy person) Joaquin Phoenix , who preys upon her vulnerability (ie, becomes her pimp). Sounds like a bummer, but director James Gray has a great track record for nudity in his films (he got Gwyneth Paltrow to bare her gazongas in Two Lovers (2009) and voluptuous vixen Eva Mendes ‘ mams in We Own the Night (2007) ), and with the tawdry subject matter we’re hoping this means Nudity Hall-of-Famer Marion, who hasn’t done a nude scene since 2006, returns to the top of her nudity game…where she belongs. You can check out Marion Cotillard ‘s 13 nude roles, skincluding her full frontal turn in Pretty Things (2001), right here on MrSkin.com!

‘Eclipse’ Star Makes Plea For MTV Movie Awards Votes!

Jackson Rathbone tells Twilighters, ‘We’ve got a lot of heavy competition this year.’ By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Eric Ditzian Jackson Rathbone Photo: MTV News WEST HOLLYWOOD, California — Hard-core Twilighters don’t need a reason to vote for “Eclipse” at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards , but if you’re torn, co-star Jackson Rathbone has some great reasons why you should help the third movie in the “Twilight Saga” take home some trophies at the show on Sunday. “We’ve got a lot of heavy competition this year — some Oscar winners, some amazing films, some amazing actors,” Rathbone said, reaching out to Movie Awards voters this week. “We’re just lucky to be in … contention, but y’all can help us out and go online and vote.” “Eclipse” is up for eight awards at the big show, including nods in categories like Best Movie, Best Female Performance, Best Male Performance, Best Breakout Star, Best Fight and Best Kiss, which has Kristen Stewart nominated for kissing both Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson ( Le scandal! ). And Jackson had one more push for the flicks. “Go out and vote and help us out. We need your votes,” he added. The “Twilight Saga” has had a quite a streak in recent years, taking home nearly 10 Golden Popcorn statues in all. And there’s a good chance the latest film will do well this weekend, when it will be up against a slew of other big flicks like ‘Inception” and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1,” and “Eclipse” stars will compete against A-listers like Emma Watson, Zac Efron, Emma Stone and Jesse Eisenberg, to name a few. “Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke recently told us she was excited to learn that the David Slade-directed film is nominated for so many Movie Awards. “I think it’s great. I love it that people are so passionate about it and that people are really into it and following the characters,” she said when we chatted with her about the June 14 DVD release of “Red Riding Hood.” “I think it’s a great tribute, obviously, to what [author] Stephenie Meyer created. … Rob and Kristen and everybody’s been able to just keep it going and keep people loving it all this time, and, of course, all the directors, everybody. I think it’s awesome. It’s great.” Hosted by Jason Sudeikis, the 20th annual MTV Movie Awards air live on Sunday, June 5, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. Jack Black, Seth Rogen Offer MTV Movie Awards Advice To Jason Sudeikis

‘Don’t go halfway,’ Black tells the 2011 host before Sunday’s big show. By Jocelyn Vena Jason Sudeikis Jason Sudeikis is mere days away from taking the stage at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, to host the 2011 MTV Movie Awards this Sunday. We’re pretty sure he doesn’t need much advice — since he keeps the audience in stitches week after week as a castmate on “Saturday Night Live” and is bound to have everyone laughing in the summer comedy “Horrible Bosses” — but if he does need some last-minute words, MTV News caught up with some other funny guys to help out. “Don’t go halfway. Oh here it is: All of the f—ing way,” said Jack Black, who co-hosted the Movie Awards with Sarah Michelle Gellar in 2002. “That should be his mantra.” Need shorthand for that? Black added: “AOTFW.” While Seth Rogen seemed to be a little jealous of Sudeikis’ gig, he did have kind words for the host. “I don’t think he needs our advice,” Rogen said, with pal Danny McBride by his side. “I’ve been jockeying for that gig for 10 years, and he got it.” But what about some more advice from someone who’s been there before? Andy Samberg , who hosted the Movie Awards back in 2009, shared with MTV News some key steps to ensure a successful hosting gig. “What advice can you give to a guy that has it all? Be yourself, grab ’em by the scruff of the neck and don’t let go,” he advised. “Wear a nice suit. Hydrate. Crunches. Make sure ‘Twilight’ wins everything so the crowd is lively. Rig the results!” Another former host, 2010 emcee Aziz Ansari , had some different advice for the actor/comedian. “It’s so much work, so definitely have a lot of uppers on hand, like just drugs that’ll get you fired up,” he joked. “PCP is good to stay up all night, get all the work done. It’s a cool thing, though; it’s back in vogue. It’s like Twitter, PCP. It’s like trendy things: Twitter, PCP, Jonas Brothers.” The 20th annual MTV Movie Awards air live this Sunday, June 5, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. 5 Ways To Make Life Transitions Easier

Read more:

No matter what direction life takes you, there are always times when you have to make the transition from one environment to another. Whether you are trying to decompress on vacation after a long stint at work or are just getting back after time off, there is a lot to think about when changing one’s mindset based on one’s surroundings.  Being thrown into a new atmosphere can be a drastic change, especially when you find yourself in a stricter environment. Maybe you only had a short day’s notice and there was not enough time to mentally prepare for the daily grind, or perhaps you have had time to acquaint yourself with the idea of being productive, setting your sights on future goals that you have had in the back of your mind for months. It can be weird to think about changing the pace of one’s life, going from sleeping late and beach reading to the daunting task of focusing one’s mind, but there are definitely ways to ease the transition and make the changes flow into every day life. Middle grounds can be tricky to navigate, but these five tips below can help you get past the uneasy feelings of transitions and go full-force into a change for the better. 1. Make a schedule that works for you. It can be simple things like grabbing the same train every morning or getting breakfast from your favorite coffee shop on your way to the office. The more things that become predictable or relaxing, the easier it will be for you to get into a productive mindset. Other ideas would be to organize one’s clothes and necessities for work the night before, as to leave the next morning a stress-free commute, as well as create a check-off list for anything important you might forget. Creating the semblance of normalcy from the beginning is a great way to start off in a new environment, as it sets a precedent from the get-go! 2. List all of your goals out for yourself. If you start grounding your mind in the tasks you have to complete and what you want out of your work, it is possible to gain relaxation while still being in work mode. Having everything in order is always a great way to ease stress levels and make transitioning into a new environment all the more smooth. Goals are healthy, optimistic ways to remind yourself that you have dreams, ambitions, and places you want to go. It’s important to keep the faith, even when the transitions seem difficult. Once the transition period is over, all that will be there are the goals that you set for yourself! 13 Tips To Keep Healthy, By Expressing Your Creativity 3. Create a balance early on. Don’t expect yourself to be fully absorbed in your work right away or you are just setting yourself up for failure. Slowly ease into the new routine, but be kind to yourself. While you should attempt to jump right in to a new routine on the first day, there is only so much transition you can take on in one day. Keep busy, but take breaks if you need them. Take a nice lunch out and decompress. When you’ve been out of the game for a while, it can be hard to It takes time to get into a full routine and gain a sense of what one is supposed to do with the time they are given. 4. Keep yourself healthy and well-rested. When you’re stressed out AND over-tired, everything just seems worse and you are unable to focus on the new-ness of the situation with clarity. Getting a good night’s sleep, a warm cup of coffee or whatever perks you up in the morning, and a delicious lunch while on-the-go can all be important points that help you be productive, yet also keep a strong well-being throughout the day. The mind is clearer when the body can focus! 5. Be positive about the changes you’re dealing with. Keeping the optimism and elev8ing yourself in terms of what you can accomplish is a healthy way to live your life. It’s important to continually remind yourself that you’re a strong, independent individual with lots of strengths and ambition. This transition is only a stepping stone to your eventual success in life and there is no reason you can’t pull through it. You can do it! 5 Ways To Prepare Yourself For A Stress-Free Vacation

‘Twilight’ Vs. ‘Harry Potter’ At MTV Movie Awards: Celebs Weigh In!

‘That’s hard, because I love both of them,’ Elle Fanning says leading up to the big show Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT. By Kara Warner Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Photo: Warner Bros./ Summit Given the fact that the latest installments in the blockbuster “Twilight” and “Harry Potter” film franchises are the first and third most-nominated films leading into Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards — with eight nominations for “Eclipse” and six nominations for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1” — we figured it would be fun to ask a few of our favorite celebs the most polarizing of all questions: Team Potter or Team Twilight? “Wow, that’s hard, because I love both of them,” Elle Fanning told us of her divided devotion, made especially difficult because of the fact that Fanning’s older sister Dakota appears in “The Twilight Saga.” “There’s something really sexual about ‘Twilight,’ ” superstar figure skater Johnny Weir pointed out. “And as an older gentleman, I enjoy that.” “Who doesn’t want to be a witch or wizard and go to school at Hogwarts?” “Pretty Little Liars” star Troian Bellisario asked rhetorically. “I’m going to have to remain neutral on that,” “X-Men: First Class” star Michael Fassbender said diplomatically. “You said you cried watching ‘Twilight,’ after 30 seconds,” Fassbender’s co-star James McAvoy pointed out. “Dammit, James!” Fassbender exclaimed sarcastically, pretending to be embarrassed by some big secret he was trying to keep. ” ‘Harry Potter’ is more my generation,” Camilla Belle said. “I remember I was in elementary school when ‘Harry Potter’ came out.” “I’d have to say [Team] Twilight,” “Glee” star Chord Overstreet added. “I’m a ‘Potter’ person, because ‘Potter’ got me reading,” revealed “Friday Night Lights” and “Prom” actress Aimee Teegarden. “[There’s] something about vampires and werewolves that do it for me,” Hilary Duff weighed in, bringing the unofficial poll count to three Team Potter members vs. four for Team Twilight. At this year’s Movie Awards, “Eclipse” (eight nominations) will be facing off against “Inception” (seven noms) and “Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1” (six noms). Voting in all the categories, from Best Kiss to Best Fight to Best Scared-as-S**t Performance and beyond, is currently under way over at MovieAwards.MTV.com . Voting is set to close June 4. But voting for Best Movie will stay open through the show itself, meaning you have a chance to affect the night’s biggest winner up until the very last minute. My name is Daphne. I’m 13 years old & well this is how it all began. This was my first concert ever and I’m very glad it was a Justin Bieber concert. It was in Houston, Texas home of the CHUCK NORRIS! I was so excited! My friend which who I went with knew Ryan Good. We were all hoping Ryan would help us meet Justin but we knew that was  never  going to happen. We called and left a voice-mail but he never called back. I was sad but I was still happy that I got to go to his concert. As we were in line to get into the stadium, we saw Ryan Good and went up to him. There were so many girls that were surrounding him. My friend went over to him and said “Ryan do you remember me?! From the wedding!” Ryan then said “Yes! I remember you and I’m actually looking for ya’ll! Follow me” I was so happy we we’re about to meet Justin Bieber as well as Ryan Good (obviously) As we were going inside, he gives our wristbands. The color was yellow that said Justin Bieber with a heart next to it. Ryan said we had to take the elevator cause the stairs were full. I was about to cry & the whole time I was thinking  Never Say Never . We were in line for about 30 minutes. It went by fast. Finally we were next in line! I was shaking. I was about to meet my Idol. When we were about to go in, I heard a guy laughing, as I gone inside the curtains, there he was, there was Justin Bieber. He looked amazing. I was shaking the whole time. I went over to go hug him, my cheeks were super red. I couldn’t believe it. We took our pictures and I hugged him again and we left. As I left, I then saw Kenny! 11/06/10.  ♥ Read more: My name is Daphne. I’m 13 years old & well this is how…
