My name is Dayna and I’m 14 from Sydney, Australia (far left in pic). I just wanted to say that I love this site so much and I have been reading the stories for almost a year and never (oops) ever thought that I would one day be writing my own! It was always a dream but I didn’t think it would be a reality. NEVER SAY NEVER ! My friend Annie and I entered billions of competitions since forever. The one competition that changed our lives was on bieberfever.com. Here is the video we made if you want to see it. On Wednesday the 27th of april Annie got an email saying WE HAD WON MEET IN GREETS TO HIS CONCERT THE NEXT NIGHT . Annie rang me straight away and neither of us could talk, it was literally THE best moment of my entire life, like I swear I literally could not breath. On the 28th April we arrived at the Acer Arena and got special purple wristbands with his name. While in line to meet Justin, we met Dan Kanter, who was SO sweet and we saw Justin’s grandpa , HES SO CUTE! I was already so star struck! We then got called over and taken into the room! As soon as I walked in and locked eyes with Justin my heart literally skipped a beat, I could not believe it. We walked over and he said ‘Hey Girls’ in his sexy little voice. Annie was crying and Kenny put his arm on her shoulder and told her to stop crying really nicely and then Justin agreed! We all got into a photo and then were being pushed out but asked for a hug and he was really sweet and said ofcourse, you can or something! He is such an amazing hugger and I will never forget it, he smelt soo good as well! After I hugged him, I told him to please find the hat that we made him and told him it was the same as ours (we gave it to the people collecting the presents along with all the letters) and he said “Aww, yeh sure” and I said “Thank you so much Justin” and he said “My pleasure” in his little flirty voice. That was incredible. As I was walking out I felt his eyes on me and turned around and he was staring right at me, I could not believe it, I then said “I LOVE YOU JUSTIN” and he did the biggest smile and then I was out the door. I reached my aim to get him to smile!  I was literally so shocked when I met him I forgot everything else I planned to say! Everyone in that room experienced the most amazing thing. He was such a sweet and down to earth person and EVEN HOTTER IN PERSON!! I expected him to be all outgoing and confident but he actually appeared to be a little shy and just like a normal teenage boy which was incredibly cute and I really value that. Afterward, I could not stop crying, my biggest dream in life actually came true. I started crying the next day at school as well for ages because it actually hit me it was real. During the concert, he pointed and smiled RIGHT AT me and Annie because he saw us jumping up and down waving our hats. I almost fainted! At the concert I also met his main dancer and got a wave from Carin. I know I will remember this for my whole entire life and will always treasure it more than I can explain. I wanted to let you all know to NEVER SAY NEVER because clearly dreams DO come true, and you will all meet him one day and are all the best fans! ONE BIG HAPPY BELIEBER FAMILY. ‘American Idol’ In 60 Seconds: Scotty McCreery Wins It For The Kids

As the youngest top two in ‘Idol’ history awaited their fates, the guest-stars got a little dirty for the finale. By Jim Cantiello Scotty McCreery in the “American Idol” finale Photo: FOX “American Idol” season 10 has drawn to a close, and while Scotty McCreery was still digesting all that confetti he ate on Wednesday night, we here at MTV News were working around the clock to bring you news from the big finale, including Thursday’s “Idol Party Live” (streaming live right here on MTV.com at 12 p.m. ET) and “Idol” in 60 Seconds, the script of which you can peruse below while you watch the video: On Tuesday night, Fox televised a Southern junior high school talent show. Yes, season 10 came down to Scotty McCreery and his smirk versus Lauren Alaina and her doctor. There were songs about teenage love, and moms, and the civil war and … I’m so sorry, guys, I’m trying, but me and country music go together like Haley Reinhart and pants. On Wednesday, producers booked only the biggest, most contemporary pop stars for the big finish: Gaga , Beyonc

Life After MacGruber and SNL: Catching up with Will Forte

Last year at this time, Will Forte had just wrapped his eighth season on Saturday Night Live and completed an exhausting round of promotion for MacGruber — the film based on Forte’s popular SNL character. Within a month, beleaguered by bad box office, MacGruber was entirely out of theaters. Then, in August, came the surprise announcement that Forte had decided not to return for his ninth season of Saturday Night Live .

Keri Hilson Glitters & Glows At BMI Pop Awards [PHOTOS]

Keri Hilson attended the 59th Annual BMI Pop Awards last night where she sung Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” to honor songwriter David Foster who wrote the ballad for the “Bodyguard” soundtrack. We hated her performance , but we loved her dress. The floor-length gown with plunging neckline and gold and silver sequins looked great on her figure, but she could have toned it down with the hair & make-up – they make her look older than she really is. Lady Gaga HBO Special Gives Fans A Taste Of ‘Marry The Night’

Along with unreleased Born This Way track, Gaga gives Little Monsters an inside look at the Monster Ball. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga Photo: Marco Prosch/ Getty Images Lady Gaga’s first-ever HBO special is nearly 120 minutes of Gaga onstage and giving fans unprecedented behind-the-scenes access. A mixture of concert footage in color and backstage shots in black-and-white, HBO’s “Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden” is a love letter to her hometown, fans and her roots and also puts viewers in the front row at one of her shows. The special opens with Gaga greeting her friends on the Lower East Side in Manhattan and buying a coffee at a local deli decked out in a biker jacket, bodysuit and heels. She struts through the neighborhood and into an SUV. She pulls up to Madison Square Garden. From the car, she greets her fans. “You know how many times I came to this arena? And now they’re opening up these gates for us,” she marvels to her team. Now viewers are backstage as she puts on makeup and confesses , “I start to think about all the people that have tried to stop me, and I get this super-intense fury. … I just sometimes feel like a loser still.” The biggest reveal in the special is watching Gaga backstage singing a few lines of her still-unreleased Born This Way track “Marry the Night.” It happens fast, but Little Monsters are sure to eat up footage of her singing the track to herself. “I’m gonna marry the night/ I won’t give up on my life/ I’m a warrior queen/ Live passionately tonight,” she sings to herself, waiting for her show to begin. This moment marries her pre-show life with her stage life. And just like that, fans are now at the Monster Ball at Madison Square Garden . The concert footage was shot earlier this year during two nights at MSG. The Monster Ball itself has been edited with a constant stream of Gaga-isms about her fans, adversity and individuality, along with quick frenzied backstage shots, song changes (old and new) and, of course, costume changes (many of which are documented in those backstage moments). It gives anyone who hasn’t been there in person a good idea of what the show is all about. The set list includes: “Just Dance,” “You and I,” “Born This Way,” “Alejandro” and many other Gaga favorites that are highlighted by Gaga’s ferocious presence and over-the-top staging. After the concert wraps, fans are once again backstage as Gaga, her team and her family celebrate the show. In a particularly touching moment, she hugs her dad. Gaga is seen leaving MSG in a feathered jacket as the special ends. During the credits, fans are treated to one last treat: Gaga practices “BTW” with her backup singers a cappella. My Bieber experience started back in 2008 when JDB uploaded…

My Bieber experience started back in 2008 when JDB uploaded Chris Brown’s “With You” . I saw it the day it came out, but enough about that! The other night in Sydney was my first Justin Bieber concert seeing as last year’s one was cancelled and om-biebness, it was amazing. DJ Tay James broke it down and Dan Kanter tore it up but Justin Bieber was outstanding. As expected. After the concert, we went and grabbed some confetti and then raced out to where the vans and buses were leaving so we could catch a glimpse of the Biebs but alas, not even the crazy girls standing on the road could see him. We then got into my car, and headed home. We stopped off at a Maccas on the way, about 40 minutes from the city, when one of my friends pulled out her iPhone and checked Twitter. Chris Brown said THEY WERE GOING BOWLING! CRAP!! So we got back in the car and rushed into the city. We didn’t know they were going bowling, or when they were going bowling BUT WE WENT! The first place we got to was an over 18 bowling bar with some little kids and their mum standing outside. The bouncer checked me and my friends ID (and the other two were well underage) and we went inside. Bieber was not there but feeling so guilty for walking into the alley without doing anything, we purchased a game of bowling. We thought that all the alleys would close up at about 12 so at 10 past 12 when Alfredo Flores tweeted they were still bowling, we freaked out and left that place to find the other place! When we got to the other place, we noticed a group of beliebers standing outside, the very same people who we had sat next to a the concert! We waited about 15 minutes in the cold (this is about 12:30am might I add) and then a figure started walking up the corridor inside towards the glass doors. IT WAS FREAKING SCOOTER BRAUN!! I waved and he smiled and gave me thumbs up! That was it, from then on, we were waiting until we saw our JB. About 15 minutes later, we approached the other group and spoke to them. They said they had already had their photo with CHRIS BROWN and that they spoke to Scooter who had told them not to freak out if JB comes out but just to approach him calmly. WOWOWOWOWOW. About 15 minutes later, THE ENTIRE CREW CAME OUT. Chris Brown came out and we snapped a couple with him before he headed off . The other group of beliebers were having their photos taken with JB at this moment so I asked Scooter if we could get a pic as well but he was like, “Well these guys have been waiting here a long time and I told them they could….plus Justin’s got school in the morning,” to which we responded, “but Bec’s also got school in the morning!!” (more like Bec’s got school in 6 hours). Then Kenny (OMB KENNY) was like, “Okay Justin let’s go” and they started walking the other way to which Chris Brown had walked and Scooter whispered to us, “Go around and meet us over there!!” SO WE DID!!!! We then snapped some pictures and waited for them all to leave before we passed out in excitement. Three years of following JB all meant so much more when finally we got to meet him. #NEVERSAYNEVER -Matt See the original post here: My Bieber experience started back in 2008 when JDB uploaded…

James Durbin Weeps, Scotty McCreery Wows On ‘American Idol’

Plus, Haley Reinhart redeems herself with bluesy ‘House of the Rising Sun’ on Then and Now-themed night. By Gil Kaufman James Durbin performs on “American Idol” Wednesday Photo: FOX The theme for Wednesday night’s (May 4) top-five “American Idol” performance show was Then and Now, and the remaining contestants went out of their way to let viewers know exactly what musical pocket they’ve settled into with their song choices. Helping to guide them along was Grammy-winning superstar Sheryl Crow. And while some, like front-runners Scotty McCreery and James Durbin, hit a pair of home runs — including a Durbin performance that was one of the most emotional in “Idol” history — frequent bottom-three dweller Haley Reinhart stumbled in the judges’ eyes with an unreleased Lady Gaga song, only to storm back into their hearts with a show-closing, vocal-fireworks display. After a detour into sensitive singer/songwriter land last week, rocker Durbin was back in his bombastic lane with 30 Second to Mars’ “Closer to the Edge.” Crow did a duet with Durbin to get him in the groove and lead mentor Jimmy Iovine dubbed it the perfect song choice. James started out a bit shaky, his vocals flat and a tad tinny, but after pumping up the room and rising up into his head voice, he walked out into the crowd and doled out the high-fives, working the stage like an arena-rock veteran. With pyro shooting off behind him, he made a clear attempt to reach the folks all the way in the back of the room. “I think you kicked that song’s ass,” said Steven Tyler, deeming JD ready to rock stadiums. Jennifer Lopez agreed, saying “it’s yours to take,” and Randy Jackson liked how it made Durbin feel contemporary and took him out of his 1980s hard rock zone. Jacob Lusk was feeling confident about his chances of winning and proved it by taking on Jordin Sparks’ “No Air.” Crow deemed the tune difficult, but felt good about Lusk’s chances of nailing it, even though he was attempting to sing both the Sparks and Chris Brown parts. Lusk was in fine voice, using his breathy falsetto to its full power and adding a funky body wave to his repertoire, but the solo duet was a bit awkward. J.Lo’s always liked his showmanship and called his voice one of the best ever on the show, but said she wondered what his career might look like. If the Sparks song was it, she counseled him to stick with that sound. “I don’t think that’s the direction for you,” countered Randy, saying it was mostly sharp and was a mistake to sing both parts. “I don’t see you as Chris Brown or Jordin Sparks,” he added, saying Lusk should focus on being a more Luther Vandross-style crooner. Teen Lauren Alaina chose Carrie Underwood’s “Flat on the Floor,” and Crow suggested she stand still and just belt it! Wearing a sassy outfit with silver tassels hanging around her waist, Alaina took their advice and shimmied in place while putting all her sass and country swagger into the fiddle-rocking tune for one of her strongest performances to date. “That is the direction for you!” Jackson said, psyched about the fun, energetic side Lauren showed. Tyler agreed and Lopez said, simply, “You ate that up!” It was back in the down-home groove for McCreery with Montgomery-Gentry’s gritty rocker “Gone.” The first few lines were delivered in his signature baritone — with a bit of stilted over-enunciation — but once he broke into the chorus, Scotty looked and sounded like a future Grand Ole Opry veteran as he owned the song and put some kicky emotion into it. “Up to now you’ve been like a puritan, but I swear to God I saw you dance with the devil tonight, and that’s a good thing … that showed a whole other side of you,” offered Tyler to Jackson’s utter confusion. Lopez said Scotty just owned the stage and whooped about his growling, by which she meant the good kind, not the Casey Abrams kind. Talk about a coup. Iovine gave Haley Reinhart the as-yet-unreleased Born This Way Lady Gaga tune “You & I,” and with Gaga’s blessing, she played it as a jazzy torch song. With a seductive purr and her trademark guttural growl, Reinhart bumped and grinded her way across the stage and sang the tune like a show-stopping, hands-in-the-air bluesy encore at a 5,000-seat theater. Though she loved some moments in the song, Lopez wasn’t sure about the choice of the unreleased tune and felt it didn’t showcase Reinhart’s gifts. Jackson agreed that picking a song no one knows was risky, but Tyler said it did spotlight her strengths. “I think you’re just one perfect song away from being an ‘American Idol,’ ” the Aerosmith singer offered. Durbin couldn’t stop crying listening to the sensitive piano ballad “Without You” by late Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Harry Nilsson. Choked up thinking about his son and fianc

The Real Housewives of New York City Recap: A Hairy Mess!

The Real Housewives of New York City were back again last night with speed dating, runway walks, and hair removal, and the results are simply ridiculous. Ramona is asked to take another run at the catwalk. Given the fiasco her walk created last year I can only imagine that she’s invited back as a publicity stunt. It’s hard to say which is funnier, Ramona’s zombie eyed expression or the height difference between her and all of the other models. One by one these tall, slender, professional models hit the runway and then there’s Ramona and you have to look two feet lower. As one of the ladies quipped, it’s like Ramona is the mascot. Alex gives modeling a go as well with a campy photo shoot. OK, I guess it’s trying to be high fashion but the entire picture was absurd. I’m not sure what was worse, the hair teased to look like a brillo pad, the overly dramatic eye makeup, or Alex’s strange expressions. Then Alex shows up to Ramona’s event wearing the get up she was photographed in. I know she says she had to run straight from the photo shoot, but showing up with that hair took guts. The ladies comments range from asking if she wore a wig, wondering if she’d had an electrical shock, and thinking she was a koochi girl.
