Ciara And Russell Wilson Celebrate New Arrival With Baby Shower Baby Wilson is almost here ! Ciara and Russell Wilson marked the impending arrival of their new little bundle of joy with family and friends with a co-ed baby shower yesterday. The Wilsons’ guests showered them with baby gifts and chowed down on burgers and milkshakes catered by Shake Shack at a private home in Los Angeles, under a tent overlooking the city’s skyline. Inside, the tent decorated with string lights and big balloons (no word on the color) adorned with gold and silver strings, while gold elephant statues, floral arrangements, candles and books covered the tables in the dining area. Friends of the Mama-to-be-again, including LaLa Anthony and Serena Williams, played games and danced the night away in celebration and anticipation of the new baby. Take a look: Looks nice, right? The Black Heritage Auction Will Feature Relics From African-American History An auction that features all African-American memorabilia is headed to New York City next month. The Black Heritage Auction April 7 is your chance to own your very own piece of black history from Colonial times to the present day. The event will be the first of its kind so specifically showcase African-American collectibles, according to Paxton Baker, the event’s producer. “Most black items are added to an auction as an afterthought,” Baker told BOSSIP. “We wanted to curate something that was designed for people who had an interest in black culture.” Hosted by rapper Doug E. Fresh, the auction will feature several hundred artifacts from the African-American experience. Treasures like Tupac Shakur’s prison ID card, Muhammad Ali’s gloves and an original picture of famed abolitionist Frederick Douglass will all go to the auction block. “We think we’ve created one of the most amazing auctions,” Baker said, adding that he wanted to create the auction to emphasize “the importance of collecting our own items for our own heritage and our own race and our own family.” Also for sale will be handwritten notes from the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., James Brown’s microphone, the 1869 edition of “Scenes In The Life of Harriet Tubman,” an 1841 contract that freed an enslaved African-American from bondage and an 1889 edition of “The Freeman,” America’s first black newspaper. But Baker said the auction would be centered around Tupac, who is set to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame the same day. Items for sale include his 1991 recording contract, his handwritten lyrics to the song “I Ain’t Mad At Cha,” the Dolce & Gabbana shirt he wore for “2 Of Americaz Most Wanted” music video with Snoop Dogg and the bullet-damaged gold medallion he wore the night he was murdered. Last night, REVOLT, the #1 name in music, returned to the heart of Austin, TX for an all day, jam-packed live music experience – #REVOLTHOUSE at the Vulcan Gas Company. One of the most highly anticipated events of the weekend, REVOLT HOUSE celebrated the best in music, featuring a one-night-only SWISHAHOUSE reunion with members Paul Wall, Slim Thug, and Mike Jones. The day was kicked off with an incredible performance by #BeHeard REVOLT Music Conference winner, Derek Farill. Neo-soul darling Ari Lennox kept the good vibes going with a performance of her single, “Backseat”. Young M.A. brought the house down with a hype performance of “Hot Sauce” and “OOOUUU”. R&B artist Ro James’ performance of “Permission” was a standout. Performances by Private Club Records (MadeinTYO, 24HRS, and Salma Slims), Pell, Little Simz, Nick Grant and PNB Rock also lit up the party. And new R&B/soul sensation Khalid drove the crowd wild with a performance of his smash-hits, “Location” and “American Teen”. Kendall Jenner’s Home Robbed Just before the dramatic episode dealing with Kim Kardashian’s own robbery at gunpoint last September is set to air on Sunday…little sis Kendall Jenner has now been robbed as well. Thankfully in Kendall’s case, the situation wasn’t nearly as life-threatening or dramatic. According to TMZ , Kendall Jenner had some friends over to her house for a kickback on Wednesday night. At some point during the night, she heard her “open door” alarm warning…but since there were already so many people in her house, she thought nothing of it and kept on with the party. Apparently, Kendall left her house around midnight to make a run, and left all her friends at the house. She came back an hour later, just after 1 AM. She went to her bedroom…where she found that her jewelry box was open and empty. Naturally, she called the cops. Kendall was pretty trusting of these “friends” of hers to leave them at her house unattended. Granted, someone could have strolled in and taken her stuff since there were so many people around…but we bet whoever took her isht knew EXACTLY where to find it. Welp. In her first interview since since filing for divorce from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie only had very nice things to say about her estranged husband. Jolie even referred to Pitt as a wonderful father while speaking last month to the BBC. But a new report suggests that Jolie isn’t about to gush in a similar manner over Amal Clooney, not based on how Angelina truly feels about George’s better half. According to Life & Style insiders, Pitt and Clooney may be long-time, close friends who have worked on multiple movies together… … but they were scarcely on speaking terms just a few months ago as a result of Jolie’s beef with the successful human rights attorney. “Angie couldn’t stand being around Amal,” an insider explains, looking back on the days of when the two couples would hang out. “Not because Amal was unkind or rude, but solely because Angie was filled with envy.” Jolie, who doesn’t have the best reputation on the planet, made no secret of her jealousy either, this same source claims. Angelina reportedly refused to see the Clooneys, while making negative comments about Amal to mutual friends. “Angelina would even knock Amal’s looks and fashion sense,” the tabloid writes. “Amal seemed to ignore it, but George didn’t want to sit by and watch his wife get cut down.” The relationship (or lackthereof) between their wives affected the actors. “Brad wouldn’t stand up to Angie,” the magazine claims, which led to the stars simply not spending a lot of time together. Way back in 2011, Jolie spoke to Marie Claire about her lack of true pals. Especially those of the same gender. “I have few girlfriends, I just… I stay at home a lot,” she told the publication. “I’m just not very social.” This doesn’t exactly come as earth-shattering news. Jolie, of course, stunned the universe when she filed to divorce Pitt in September. She cited “irreconcilable differences” at the time, but it didn’t take long for the Internet to speculate over the actual basis for the split. Many reports claimed that Jolie thought Pitt was a bad father , specifically referencing an incident on board a private airplane in which he got into an argument with 15-year old son Maddox. The FBI investigated this confrontation and did not find any evidence of physical abuse on Pitt’s part. Since then, the sides have traded barbs through their lawyers, but have said very little about each other in public. “I don’t want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time,” Jolie said in the BBC interview from last month. Summer is coming. Doesn’t exactly have the same ring to it, does it? But it remains true, and with summer will come the return of the most popular show on television. Via a Facebook Live “event” that was really just a block of ice slowly melting away to reveal a date, HBO announced today that Game of Thrones Season 7 will premiere on July 16, 2017 . Mark your calendars. Set your DVR. And plan all vacations accordingly. The network has also unveiled the first official poster for this beloved series, which will debut in July for the first time in show history. The teaser image – first seen this week at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas – evokes a pair of the the iconic fantasy series’ favorite themes: Fire (typically represented by Daenerys and her “children,” of course). Ice (most commonly associated with northern son Jon Snow). What might this mean? You’re guess is as good as ours. But it’s safe to assume that Dany and Jon will finally meet this season. What else do we know at this time about Game of Thrones Season 7? According to a script that allegedly leaked , fans can look forward to the following storylines. (Consider yourselves SPOILER WARNED.) Jon Snow and Daenerys spend a great deal of the season together at Dragonstone. Arya and Sansa will be reunited, with the former essentially acting as a killing machine at this point. Under orders from Sana, Arya will kill Littlefinger. Cersei will be pregnant (no word yet on the identity of the father) and will form an alliance with Euron Greyjoy to do battle against Jon and Dany. Sam, Gilly and Bran will piece together that Jon Snow the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. Jon will head north of the Wall to capture a wight and bring it back as evidence of the very dangerous threat that exists there. Oh, and The Night’s King will actually possesses Dany’s dragon Viserion and turn him into an ice dragon that destroys the fall. WHOA! This all should be taken with a grain of salt the size of Tyrion’s ego, of course. But it all sounds rather epic. No official announcement has been made, meanwhile, but Game of Thrones is expected to come to an end after Season 8. We have no idea what we’ll do on Sunday nights after that.
