According to Deadline , the Philadelphia comedian is getting his own animated TV series called Lil Kev which will be coming to Fox. Written by Michael Price (The Simpsons) and Matt Claybrooks, Lil Kev will be a series based on Hart’s childhood, with voice overs coming from Kevin Hart (of course), Wanda Sykes, Keith Robertson, Gerald Johnson, and Deon Cole. T he family of an iconic Black Lives Matter activist is raising funds to bring his remains home to Charleston, South Carolina after he was gunned down in New Orleans on Tuesday. A woman who identified herself as d’Baha’s niece, Camille, wrote that the funds would also be used for a memorial service and funeral. Sometimes we see The Bachelor spoilers coming ahead of time. Other times not so much, such as in the bizarre case of Bekah Martinez. No, we’re not talking about her age ( so damn young !) but the fact that she was on a Missing Persons List prior to being found … … on The Bachelor . Yes, she was just removed from a missing persons list in California after someone recognized her from the hit show, according to reports. The strange saga unfolded after the North Coast Journal asked if readers knew any of 35 people declared missing in Humboldt County. One did. Acting on a tip from a member of Bachelor Nation, the publication compared Martinez’s Instagram photos to her missing person’s photo. At that point, they reached out to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, where officials reached out to her using her phone number on file. It worked. After speaking to Bekah Martinez, officials confirmed that she was indeed not missing, and she was removed from the list. According to the sheriff’s office, the now-infamous Martinez was reported missing by her mother at about 1:06 a.m. on November 18. The mom hadn’t heard from her since November 12; Martinez last told her she was planning on working at a marijuana farm in the area. Martinez’s mother told deputies she she asked Bekah to come home; Bekah refused, and said she would see her in 7-8 days. At the time, Martinez told her mom that she was near Eureka, Calif., an area about 45 minutes from any known marijuana farm. The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office attempted to contact Martinez and others associated with her, receiving no response. The case went to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, where a deputy contacted Martinez’s mother. According to Martinez’s mother, Bekah had contacted her late in the afternoon on November 18, stating that she was headed home. As of December 12, no one had heard from her, and deputies were not able to make direct contact with Martinez after that point. Thus, she was entered into the Missing and Unidentified Persons System and not removed until The Bachelor fan’s sighting. Bekah may have left her mom hanging, but she’s been active on Twitter and Instagram throughout the time she’s been missing. On September 17, long before she disappeared, she posted that she was “giving up” her phone and social media for weeks. This was for The Bachelor . She resumed posting November 23 after she finished filming (incidentally, if you want to know who will win The Bachelor , follow the link). Bekah addressed her Missing Persons status on Twitter: “MOM. how many times do I have to tell you I don’t get cell service on The Bachelor??” “Honestly the scariest thing about this story is that my efforts to conceal The Worst Drivers License Photo Of All Time have been thwarted.” Clearly she’s not taking this too seriously. As for the marijuana farm component of this story, Northern California has long been known as fertile ground for the product. Now that it’s legal, gigs on the farms are seen as a good way to make money, but often times are in remote places with no cell service. According to officials, many of the farms don’t have permits and are still illegal, and many who go to work on them don’t come back. “It’s something that we’ve been battling with for years,” said one local official to People . “It’s actually a huge problem here.” “I’m sure that her mother had a legitimate concern … women can be held against their will, or forced to do things they don’t want to do.” Sounds even worse than being on The Bachelor . It’s only been five months since Jenelle Evans and David Eason got married , but the tempestuous Teen Mom 2 stars have already seen more ups and downs than most couples experience in a lifetime together. Rumors of Jenelle and David getting divorced are everywhere on social media, and now it looks as though the newlyweds will be forced to contend with a new round of salacious reports. Over the weekend, Jenelle posted a bizarre video to Snapchat that has many fans convinced that she and Eason are using drugs. The clip showed Evans and Eason giggling, giving the middle finger to the camera and repeatedly slurring the name of rapper Cardi B, all while boarding an airplane. At no point are Evans and Eason seen ingesting any substances, but some TM2 fans who watched the clip believe it serves as solid evidence that they were intoxicated in public. “Uh, yeah, they are definitely on something,” wrote one fan. “Both of them are high,” a second commenter confirmed. This isn’t the first time that rumors of Jenelle and David using drugs have made their way across the internet. In November of 2017, an insider who claimed to be close to Jenelle revealed that her friends and family are deeply concerned about her substance abuse” “We’re all very concerned. Very concerned for Jenelle,” the source told Radar Online at the time. “We all think that there is still weed involved. We know that for a fact. That’s a constant in her life.” The video could prove to have damaging consequences for Jenelle, who’s currently locked in a bitter custody battle with Nathan Griffith, her former fiancé and the father of her youngest son, Kaiser. Griffith’s mother accused Jenelle of being on drugs in court testimony, and it seems likely that his attorneys will use the Snapchat clip as evidence to support that claim. Evans has yet to respond to the allegations that she’s using again. She’s spoken openly about her history of hard drug use–including the period of time in which she was addicted to heroin–but she insists those days are long behind her. “I won’t glamorize the drug by going into the long details of why people love it so damned much,” she wrote in her 2017 memoir. “Before I knew it, I was shooting up four or five times a day. Matt Lauer lost his job a couple months ago. Along with it, he lost his dignity. And now, according to a new report in The New York Post, he has lost his soulmate. The aforementioned newspaper quotes an anonymous source who says Annette Roque has finally come to her senses and kicked Lauer out of the family home in The Hamptons. The disgraced Today Show anchor has reportedly moved out of this estate and is now crashing someplace nearby. (For the expensive record: He owns a $36 million compound in North Haven, a house in Sag Harbor and a 40-acre horse farm in Water Mill.) Lauer, of course, was fired by NBC in late November after a woman accused him of sexual harassment. Not long after this development, numerous other reports indicated that Lauer was basically a gross sexual predator at work. There have been allegations against him of dropping his pants in front of employees; of gifting them with sex toys; and even of raping one of them in his office . It’s horrible stuff all around. The public has been wondering for several weeks now just why Roque is sticking around. The only plausible explanation, which has been cited by many websites around the Internet, is that she and Lauer have been living separate lives for many years now anyway. Lauer spends nearly every week night in New York City and only would make it out to The Hamptons on weekends. Nevertheless, the more Roque has realized how much Lauer sucks, and the more chatter about previous affairs has emerged… the louder the divorce rumors have grown . The Post claims Roque will soon file the necessary papers to rid herself of Lauer once and for all. Sources have been saying of late that Lauer wants to save the marriage, but that Roque has been “very cold” to him. Hmmm… we wonder why that would be.
