12-12-12: Most Superstitious Day Ever!

December 12, 2012, or 12-12-12, is a once-in-a-lifetime day – and it’s whipping math geeks, lovebirds and superstitious individuals everywhere into a frenzy. While there’s no actual Robert Pattinson-Kristen Stewart wedding going down (despite what the tabloids claim), plenty of others are tying the knot today. There will never be another date like 12-12-12, after all … the world is ending only nine days later, according to the Mayans’ famous apocalyptic prediction. Even if those fools are somehow wrong, it’s a long ass time until 1-1-2101. Not only is getting married on 12-12-12 a cool story, but it makes for easy-to-remember anniversary date. There’s still 12 hours left in the day, fellas! From midnight to midnight, more than 100 couples will walk or ride down the aisle at Viva Las Vegas – 10 times the number tying the knot on a typical Wednesday. “The charismatic and fun-loving couple that gets married on a 12 day is lucky and balanced, but seeking constant goals to achieve,” the chapel’s website explains. “The ‘go-getting’ 1 and the ‘sensitive’ 2 make this a very balanced number.” “1 is the vibration of ‘new beginnings’ and starting things afresh. The 2 vibration is about seeking ‘balance’ and that’s certainly something that many will struggle with.” “Balancing the bank balance, balancing the food and beverage intake, balancing the emotions, balancing in every way. Today is a day of balance.” Good to know. It’s not just influencing romantic decisions, either. Professional numerologists say 12/12/12 isn’t just a cool repetition of digits or a lucky day. It’s a fantastic day to start a new business venture, Indian numerologist Swetta Jumaani says, as 12 is considered a “three” number (the digits add up to three). Three also corresponds with great wealth apparently, according to this person. “If you’re in a business of trading money, or the buying and selling of anything, (this Wednesday) is a good day to make investments,” Jumaani said. “If you want to buy something – property, if you want to buy gold – it’d be a good day.” It certainly is for Alabama youngster Kiam Moriya, who was born at 12:12 p.m. on December 12, 2000. Yup, he’s gonna turn 12 on 12/12/12 at exactly 12:12 p.m. “It’s like one minute out of a whole lifetime,” Kiam told CNN. “You know, all 12s.” Wednesday also marks a milestone for Pope Benedict XVI’s Twitter , which went live today. It’s unclear if he wanted until 12/12/12 on purpose or simply got his new iPhone 5 today.

Sarah Jessica Parker Assistant Steals Sunglasses From Airport Shop, Delays Flight in Norway

An assistant of Sarah Jessica Parker is believed to have shoplifted a pair of sunglasses at an airport in Norway, and delayed a flight in the process as police intervened. The Sex And The City star and her entourage were boarding a United flight from Oslo to NYC when they were confronted by officials , according to news reports. Chris Brown, Drake Crews In Brawl At NYC Club

NYPD confirm they were called to scene of a fight at W.I.P. but no arrests were made. By Rebecca Thomas Drake and Chris Brown Photo: Rappers stay schemin’. And if the reports are to be believed, R&B singers do too. After hitting up the Maybach Music Group listening party in the Bronx, Young Money rapper Drake headed to New York’s SoHo, where his camp reportedly got into an altercation with Chris Brown’s crew on Wednesday night. According to TMZ , the NYPD has confirmed that Drizzy and Breezy got into a fight at W.I.P. nightclub, where bottles were allegedly thrown. A photo posted to Brown’s Instagram showing the singer sporting a bloody gash on his chin quickly made the rounds on Thursday (June 14). But Breezy’s timeline had been sanitized entirely at press time. Drake and Brown have been the subject of rumors, particularly in recent months, as buzz built that the two were fighting over Rihanna. Brown’s long-term relationship with the Bajan singer imploded after he assaulted her in 2009, but they continued to be linked to each other. Drake has spoken in song about his own fleeting romantic encounter with Rihanna; the pair were spotted out together during Memorial Day weekend in Miami. Five people were injured in last night’s brawl, before the New York City Police Department were called in the early morning hours, around 4 a.m. TMZ reported that Brown and Drake were not at the club when police arrived; no arrests were made. Justin Bieber ‘Still Needs Guidance,’ Manager Says

Scooter Braun opens up about the star’s maturing process with Billboard. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber in his “Boyfriend” music video Photo: Justin Bieber is definitely making a more mature musical statement on his June 19 release, Believe . However, his manager notes that just because the 18-year-old sounds older, doesn’t mean that the baby bird is ready to leave the nest just yet. “Adult artist? Just because he’s legal now doesn’t mean he’s an adult,” his manager, Scooter Braun, told Billboard about the growing pop star. “He still needs guidance; he’s still finding his way. He’s no longer a boy, but he’s definitely not yet a man.” During the interview, Braun also notes that Bieber has more pressure on him than pop stars before as he has come up in the digital age. He added that he’s essentially a one-man boy band who can’t rely on the support of other group members. “No one in the history of the world has ever grown up with the pressure that he has, being a solo artist that young, that famous, in a world with technology that exposes us 24/7,” Braun adds. “He was literally going through puberty in front of the entire world, with everyone expecting something from him and a lot people waiting for him to screw up. He’s a fighter. I’m proud of him — how’s he’s stayed true to himself and taken control of the entire situation.” The singer himself recently opened up about his public image and how he always feels guarded in interviews. “I mean, I keep my guard up a lot, because you know, you can’t trust anyone in this business,” Bieber told the June issue of GQ. “That’s what’s sad. You can’t trust anybody. I learned the hard way.” And given his busy promotional schedule, Bieber will have a lot more interviews to give in the coming weeks. He is traveling the globe promoting the release. He’s already made stops in Oslo, Norway , Paris and Mexico City , among others, and this week touches down in New York City where he will appear on the “Today” show. MTV Movie Awards Celebrate Dirtbags In New Category

Jon Hamm, Jennifer Aniston among the deliciously despicable characters up for Best On-Screen Dirtbag award. By Kevin P. Sullivan Jennifer Aniston in “Horrible Bosses” Photo: Warner Bros. While the MTV Movie Awards are all about celebrating the best from the past year in film, they’re also about shining a light on the very worst. This year, we’re introducing a brand-new category for all the deliciously despicable characters: Best On-Screen Dirtbag. We’ve broken down all the nominees in the category below, but it’s up to you to vote one member of this detestable quintet to the podium to collect his or her Golden Popcorn. We will all find out who the worst of the worst is this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET live on MTV. Bryce Dallas Howard – “” If an on-screen dirtbag does his or her job properly, naturally the audience will beg for some comeuppance. Without a doubt, none of this year’s love-to-hate-’em nominees got it worse than Bryce Dallas Howard’s horribly racist Miss Hilly. Apparently, revenge is a dish best served in the form of a chocolate pie made out of human feces. Colin Farrell – ” Horrible Bosses ” Even if it weren’t for the cocaine addiction and his propensity for firing those that “creep him out,” Colin Farrell’s character in last summer’s hit comedy “Horrible Bosses” may have ended up on the short list for On-Screen Dirtbag for that comb-over alone. Sometimes a poor choice of hairstyle can be just as bad as a person’s behavior. Jennifer Aniston – ” Horrible Bosses ” There’s nothing wrong with a small workplace crush as long as human resources has been notified, you keep your conversations work-appropriate, and you don’t spray your co-worker’s pants with water in order to see the outline of his junk. Jennifer Aniston’s character in “Horrible Bosses” did not heed any of these rules as she aggressively tried to seduce her dental hygienist, played by Charlie Day. Jon Hamm – ” Bridesmaids ” Sure, he might seem like a great guy. He’s rich, and hell, he looks like Jon Hamm, but Ted is not a man you want to be around. He does that thing that can only be described by Kristen Wiig as she drags that back of her limp hand across her face. It’s not pretty. Oliver Cooper – ” Project X ” Sometimes dirtbags are funny. One of our nominees this year, Oliver Cooper of “Project X,” has the distinct honor of earning nominations for both Best Comedic Performance and Best On-Screen Dirtbag. And that’s the beautiful balance that Costa strikes. Yes, he’s going to turn up the speed on the treadmill that you’re running on, but you’ll probably laugh about it later. Head over to MovieAwards.MTV.com to vote for your favorite flicks now! The 21st annual MTV Movie Awards air live this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET. Justin Bieber Causes Chaos In Norway

Singer asks fans to obey police as outdoor concert turns into mob scene. By John Mitchell Justin Bieber performs in Oslo, Norway Photo: Getty Images Justin Bieber attracts a crowd wherever he goes, but things got a little out of hand in Norway on Wednesday as the pop star kicked off the European promo tour behind his new album, Believe . Bieber was in the Scandinavian country’s capital city, Oslo, to perform a free six-song concert outside of the Oslo Opera House, but the site was quickly overrun by several thousand fans, who at one point began chasing after a car presumed to be transporting Bieber to the concert location while ignoring police warnings and causing a spike in mobile usage that briefly crippled cellular service in the city. Police reportedly threated to cancel the performance — and, according to TMZ , nearly declared a state of emergency — before Bieber took to Twitter to try to calm his legion of fans. “Please listen to the police. I don’t want anyone getting hurt. I want everything to go to plan but your safety must come first,” Bieber tweeted . “For the show to happen u must all listen to the police. We are all concerned for your safety and I want what is best for u. Please listen.” The “Boyfriend” singer’s words of caution apparently tamed fans enough, and police allowed the show to proceed. However, officials demanded Bieber push the start time back by half an hour so scene security would not deteriorate further. Billboard reports that an on-scene security officer said “about 15 girls passed out.” Police cite the venue chosen as one of the key issues that contributed to the chaotic scene: “The concert should be held somewhere other than roof of the Opera, which has clear space limitations,” a police official told the Norwegian NRK news service . The concert was filmed as part of Bieber’s upcoming ” Justin Bieber: All Around the World ” TV special, which follows the singer on his 12-day, seven-country promo tour. The special is set to air at 8 p.m. June 21 on NBC. Bieber is currently on his way to Paris for his next appearance. This isn’t the first time Bieber’s presence has resulted in an out-of-control scene: In November 2009, a teenage girl was injured and several fights broke out as thousands descended on the Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, New York , in what devolved into a stampede ahead of the singer’s scheduled appearance there. Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, was charged with reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance for failing to properly control the situation after receiving police warnings about potential problems at the venue. Those charges were later dropped. Related Videos MTV First: Justin Bieber Related Photos The Evolution Of: Justin Bieber Related Artists Justin Bieber
