The same hacker who leaked nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and other A-list celebs reportedly struck actress and pop star Hilary Duff earlier today. Fortunately, Hilary took an extremely proactive approach to the problem by immediately contacting the FBI, and issuing a statement assuring her fans that the photos are fake. Duff’s team claims that she has a number of “defining birthmarks” and tattoos that do not appear on the woman in the nude photos. Her reps even got specific, reporting that Hilary has had an anchor tattoo on the inside of her left ankle for several years, and that the tattoo would have been visible in several of the pics. After a long absence from the music world, Duff released a single entitled “Chasing the Sun” back in July. She’s set to release her first album in seven years some time this fall, and is reportedly concerned that a nude photo scandal could derail her comeback. Duff, of course, is not the first starlet to be victimized by falsified naked pics recently. Fake nude photos of Ariana Grande were leaked alongside legitimate pics of Lawrence and Upton earlier this week.
