For the last three years, NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) has been tracking our sun – the one and only – as it approaches “solar maximum.” That’s the scientific term for the star’s peak in solar activity each 11 years, and in this new video, NASA has condensed that time span into three minutes. You can see eclipses, sunspots, solar flares and more. Fluctuations in size are due to changes in distance between it and the spacecraft taking the pics. The new trailer for The Internship has been released! Watch it below: The Internship Trailer Vince Vaughn co-wrote the film and also stars, alongside his Wedding Crashers co-star Owen Wilson. The comedy duo plays a pair of salesmen who are laid off when their jobs become obsolete. In order to stay relevant in the job market, they decide to vie for internship positions with Google. Rose Byrne, Max Minghella, John Goodman, Aasif Mandvi, B.J. Novak, and Dylan O’Brien also star. The Internship will hit theaters June 7.
Just moments ago, the FBI released photos of two suspects in Monday’s Boston Marathon bombings and asked for the public’s help identifying them: FBI Agent Richard DesLauriers said at a news conference that one these two suspects is believed to have planted the devices near the finish line of the race. The FBI says both men are considered armed and extremely dangerous. The explosions Monday killed three people and injured more than 180. Moments after the FBI posted pictures of actual suspects – not the rumored Boston bombing suspects reported earlier today – the agency’s website crashed. It’s unclear if either of these alleged suspects are the same individuals turned up by the Internet-led Reddit and 4Chan Think Tank suspect -finding boards. The images were released hours after President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama attended a service at a Roman Catholic cathedral in Boston. Amid the day of mourning was the frenzied, ongoing investigation. The man Deslauriers called Suspect One at the press conference this afternoon is seen wearing a dark hat, while Suspect Two is wearing a white hat. Deslaurier said Suspect Two is believed to have set a backpack down in front of the Forum restaurant along the marathon route near Copley Square. Deslauriers said the two men appeared to be walking together along Boylston Street in the vicinity of the explosions, and are considered suspects. “We know the public will play a critical role in identifying and locating these individuals. Get your tissues ready… Francine Wheeler Delivers President Obama’s Weekly Address Asking For Gun Control Reform Via HuffingtonPost The mother of a 6-year-old boy killed in the Connecticut school shooting used the opportunity to fill in for President Barack Obama during the weekly radio and Internet address to make a personal plea from the White House for action to combat gun violence. “Thousands of other families across the United States are also drowning in our grief,” said Francine Wheeler, choking back tears in the address broadcast Saturday. “Please help us do something before our tragedy becomes your tragedy.” Ben Wheeler was among the 20 first-graders and six adults killed in the Dec. 14 attack at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown. Francine Wheeler was the first person to deliver the address other than Obama or Vice President Joe Biden since the two took office in 2009. Her husband, David Wheeler, sat silently next to her as she made the recording in the White House Library. Both wore the small green pins that have become a symbol of the shooting. Tea Party Members Protest Against Fox News For Becoming Too Liberal Wow the “fair and balanced” safe-haven for tea party chumps and conservatives is now being accussed of being too liberal??? According to The Daily Beast: Is Fox News going soft? That is what a number of Tea Party activists are saying and they are organizing a boycott to protest the conservative station’s coverage, especially what they view as the network’s relative silence in investigating the attacks on a diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya. “Particularly after the election, Fox keeps turning to the left,” said Stan Hjerlied, 75, of Fort Collins, Colo., and a participant in the boycott. He pointed to an interview Fox News CEO Roger Ailes gave after the election in which he said that the Republican Party and Fox News need to modernize, especially around immigration. “So we are really losing our only conservative network.” The three-day boycott lasted Thursday morning through Sunday morning, and is the second time this group of activists have gone Fox-free in an effort to steer the coverage. Organizers say a two-day boycott earlier this month knocked 20 percent off of the network’s regular viewership. (A Daily Beast analysis of the same data showed that the boycott had little effect.) A spokeswoman for Fox News did not respond to a request for comment. A leader of the boycott, Kathy Amidon, of Nashville, declined an interview, instead directing The Daily Beast to a website, Benghazi-Truth. The website, a single-page, 23,000-word manifesto complete with multicolored fonts, supposedly incriminating videos of Fox News’s complicity in a coverup, and communist propaganda photographs, is kept by someone who identifies himself online as “Proe Graphique,” and who other members of boycott described as someone who works “in New York media.” Going without the conservative movement’s house organ, however, has proven to be no easy task for true believers. “I am having withdrawal. I do like Fox News,” said Kevin Avard, a former state lawmaker in New Hampshire who is participating in the boycott. “I have been going to CNN, and to Headline News just to get some kind of fix. I usually probably only watch them once or twice a year.” Hjerlied said that “If I want news, I go to Breitbart News and Drudge and I can find all the news I need, very quickly,” and after the first boycott, says he may have “kicked the habit” for good. “I used to have it on all day long, and I probably watched maybe six hours last week,” he said. “The more I looked at it, I have come to the conclusion that Fox is not as fair and balanced as I thought. They shade the truth also.” Among the demands the protesters have is that Fox News “be the right-wing CBS News: to break stories, to break information, and to do what news organizations have always done with such stories: break politicians,” that the network have at least one segment on Benghazi every night on two of its prime-time shows; that Fox similarly devote investigative resources to discovering the truth of Obama’s birth certificate; and that the network cease striving to be “fair and balanced.” “We need Fox to turn right,” said Hjerlied. “We think this is a coverup and Fox is aiding and abetting it. This is the way Hitler started taking over Germany, by managing and manipulating the news media.” SMH.

The infamous celebrity hackers have claimed a new victim: Octomom. Guess they’re defining “celebrity” pretty loosely as time goes on. The celebrity hackers , who struck this week and last, may be just targeting any individual who is remotely infamous or potentially hateable at this point. It’s certainly not about using the info to steal money in broke Octo’s case. Nadya Suleman probably has like no credit. Talk about a bad ID theft target! Most of those who were hacked have reason to sweat, though. The personal financial information of a shocking number of stars and government figures has been exposed. Even Michelle Obama was hacked . Other victims include: Mel Gibson, Lindsay Lohan, Kim Kardashian, FBI Director Robert Mueller, CIA Director John Brennan, VP Joe Biden, Tiger Woods, Mitt Romney, Beyonce and Jay-Z. There may be more. According to reports, the hackers’ website – where they’ve posted a lot of the stolen information and people have even “used” some of it – has a thing for Dexter . Vigilante justice. Doing away with bad people. That sort of thing. Maybe they just saw the Octomom porn and were repulsed.
