Portions of Orlando shooter Omar Mateen's hookup with at least one gay man have apparently been confirmed by surveillance video. Yesterday, Omar Mateen's gay lover (allegedly) gave an interview in which he claimed to have had a two-month relationship with him. Now, evidence has emerged that appears to support that claim, which many detractors were originally skeptical of for various reasons. Sources at the Ambassador Hotel tell TMZ that Mateen was seen on camera footage recorded December 14 of last year around 11 p.m. In the video, Omar meets Miguel – the heavily disguised man who told Univision he met up with Mateen 15-20 times at that very hotel. Miguel says he hooked up with Mateen often between November and December, a claim supported by the celebrity news site's sources. Video shows Mateen walk over to the front desk, speak to a staff member briefly, then walk around a corner to a room down the hall. There, Miguel says he met Omar many times. Management reportedly showed the video to employees and asked if anyone recalled seeing Mateen, who killed 49 people this month. A worker who covers night shift recognized him, and the FBI went to the Ambassador Tuesday night to look at the surveillance footage. Whether or not Omar Mateen was secretly gay or frequented gay dating apps isn't an issue at this point, as it's pretty much established. Why Mateen attacked the gay club Pulse is certainly critical, however, in understanding the worst mass shooting in American history. Miguel, the alleged ex-lover, says Mateen shot up the club due to some twisted “revenge” plot involving a tryst with an HIV-positive man. “The thing that makes me want to tell the truth,” he told Univision this week, is that despite media narratives, “he didn’t do it for terrorism.” “In my opinion, he did it for revenge.” The man, who wore a disguise for the interview, claims he met Mateen last fall after they exchanged messages on the gay dating app Grindr. In general, the man who claims to have known Omar intimately says he felt wronged by the gay community – for reasons largely unknown. “He adored Latinos, gay Latinos, with brown skin, but he felt rejected,” Miguel continued, lamenting his former love's dark path. “He felt used by them,” he added. Daljinder Kaur and her 79-year-old husband welcomed a healthy baby boy last month after years of infertility. After two years of IVF however, the couple successfully conceived and the new mom is looking forward to raising her son. Yahoo News reports: Doctors in India on Wednesday raised ethical and health concerns after a woman gave birth to her first child in her 70s, following two years of IVF treatment. Daljinder Kaur gave birth last month to a healthy boy after falling pregnant by her 79-year-old husband, following fertility treatment at a northern Indian clinic. Kaur said the couple, married for 46 years, were overjoyed at finally having their first child after enduring years of taunts in a country where infertility is sometimes seen as a curse from God. “I feel blessed to be able to hold my own baby. I had lost hope of becoming a mother ever,” Kaur told AFP from her home in Amritsar city. “I used to feel empty. There was so much loneliness.” Kaur put her age at about 70 – a common scenario in India, where many people don’t have birth certificates – while the clinic said in a statement that she was 72. But fertility expert Sunil Jindal raised questions about the future of a child born to elderly parents, as well as health issues for the mother. “There are ethical issues. In my opinion it is unfair to do such a procedure on a woman who is over 60,” Jindal told AFP. “The sheer fact that a woman in her 70s has to carry the weight of a child in her womb for nine months is stressful. “Then the question comes how are the parents going to look after the baby? That is also quite a task.” The clinic, in the northern state of Haryana, told AFP the couple’s baby was conceived using Kaur’s egg and her husband’s sperm after two previous unsuccessful attempts. But Britain’s the Guardian newspaper on Wednesday quoted the clinic’s doctor saying donor eggs were used. Wow! Do YOU think it’s fair or foul for a 70-year-old to have a baby???

She appeared Monday on Fox 2 Detroit in order to show viewers how to spice up their greens for National Salad Month. Yes, May is National Salad Month.
