Source: Bryan Bedder / Getty Power Crew Member Dies On Set After Accident While Shooting An extremely unfortunate accident on the sixth season of Power has left a longtime production assistant dead. Pedro Jimenez was fatally struck by a SUV at around 4:30 AM ET on Monday while setting up parking cones for a Brooklyn location shoot for the series. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of the members of our Power family,” a Starz spokesperson told Deadline following the death of the 63-year old Parking PA. “Our thoughts are with Mr. Jimenez’ family as we work to fully understand what has happened.” Jimenez has been with the series since its first day of production when Power debuted back in 2014. NYPD officials say that they are investigating the incident and have spoken to the driver of the 2006 Ford Explorer that hit Jimenez; The driver was also a member of the Power crew. In the midst of the filming for the upcoming season of the drama series executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Power has temporarily shut down production following the horrible incident. This move is of course out of respect for the family of Jimenez, which was informed of his death almost immediately after he was pronounced dead by medical authorities at Brooklyn Hospital this morning. Sources also told Deadline that the halting of filming also will allow crew members and cast on the series starring Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Lela Loren and Joseph Sikora deal with the loss. No cast members were on set when Jimenez occurred, as their call time was not until 7 AM ET, almost 3 hours later. As of now, there’s no word on when production will resume, but a planned holiday break on the show is coming up soon, so the shutdown could go into early 2019.

Remember last week how people aka Yandy, Kimbella, and Jonathan felt that Juju was secretive? This is that again. Basically, Yandy feels some type of way because Juju never really actually told her anything about her breakup with Cam’ron. Like, how dare Juju be so heartbroken that she doesn’t want to talk about a painful thing! Anyway, Juju expresses that she doesn’t like being called secretive, and she won’t be talking about the break up any time soon because it still hurts and frankly, she doesn’t have to…just like Yandy didn’t tell them about the fact that she and Mendeecees planned to not sign their marriage certificate. Jaquae and Rich Dollaz meet up to talk artist biz. Basically, Jaquae is working with Nya Lee and wants Richie D to check her out. He doesn’t know that Rich Dollaz and Nya Lee hate each other. You may remember Nya Lee from a few seasons back. She was another stripper/rapper trying to make it big but she came on the show full of herself. She and Rich had a major falling out minutes after they met because Nya Lee felt it was the perfect time to express that she thought Rich Dollaz was corny. Obviously, that relationship died before it began. Jaquae says that Nya Lee has turned down a lot and gotten more focused since she became a mom, so he wants Rich to give her a chance. Rich agrees to think about it and then reveals that “he got this chick he has been working with” that’s a rapper, and he wants Jaquae to check her out. We’re all thinking the same thing because we all know Rich makes Creep Squad moves. Jaquae asks what we all want to know, but according to Rich, it’s strictly business. Later on, we find out that Rich’s new artist is Sydney Star. Jaquae is obviously surprised, but he does admit that she’s talented after she raps for him and it does actually seem like Rich might really be about his business. For real, for real this time. Meanwhile, Jonathan gets together with Cyn, Kimbella, and Anais for a kiki. It starts off like a friends pow wow but then goes all the way left. First, Cyn dishes about her trip to Cabo with Joe. It was not as “sextacular” she wanted because Joe really just wanted to sleep. He’s still not understanding what she needs from him. Then we get to the hook of this meetup. Jonathan then tells Anais that she shouldn’t have ambushed Juju at his party. Then he tells Kimbella that he felt attacked by her because she brought Juju to the party in the first place, knowing dang well he didn’t invite her. You know Jonathan is extra so his delivery is intense and comes off as confrontational. Anais gets set off and starts yapping about how she was defending him (even though she really didn’t need to do that). Kimbella is over it too because Jonathan is still going on about how she called Juju secretive and none of this is productive. Anais and Kimbella both end up storming out. Overit dot com. Remy Ma attempts to bring Juju and Yandy together to hash their drama out. They talk. Juju says it’s hypocritical for Yandy to call her secretive given her marriage papers situation. Yandy thinks this is two different things but Remy Ma chimes in as the objective voice and says they’ve both been secretive about things and need to get over it already. They ramble on about stuff until Remy cuts them short, declaring that “it’s cheeseburger o’clock” so they have to go. That’s pregnant woman speak for, “I’m hungry and I ain’t got time to be doing this all day.” They laugh about it but we still don’t really know whether Juju and yandy move forward on good terms or not. Probably not. You know they’re petty af. Jaque actually got Rich Dollaz to show up for a Nya Lee performance. Nya still thinks Rich is messy but they attempt to hash out their differences maturely, and that’s when Sydney Star interrupts and all hell almost breaks loose. Nya Lee feels some type of way about Sydney Star existing, being a big personality, and generally posing a threat to her shine. Nya Lee doesn’t bite her tongue so she says that Syndey better not think she’s going to steal her shine. They start going back and forth until Rich removes Syndey from the situation because he doesn’t want her arguing with Nya Lee, or anyone, really. The episode wraps with Juelz Santana taking the plea deal. He’s probably going to do 18 months in jail, but he doesn’t have full closure on that situation yet because the judge ultimately has the final say. That’s pending. He and Kimbella end up arguing because Juelz said he was headed in the right direction before this but Kimbella feels like he still hasn’t taken full accountability of the fact that drugs led him here. Then he brings up how she’s not perfect because she cheated (you know, the ole apple plus banana equals orange trick). They start arguing about who did and didn’t do what or support who, and even pretend like they’re actually going to break up after all these years of lowered expectations. Kimbella even delivers a dramatic, “Let’s end this now” for good measure. But we all know good and dang well that they’re getting married. They’ll probably get a wedding special out of the deal but we need more details about Juelz’s case first. But alas, that is the main hook of tonight’s episode (and probably the next few episodes to come, if not the entire season ). We Start with Porsha and Dennis enjoying some hookah as they wait for Porsha’s mother, Miss Diane, to come through. This is Miss Diane’s first time meeting the bae and so far so good. Mama likes him and says that she believes Dennis is Porsha’s true soulmate. Next, Kandi, Marlo, Cynthia, and Nene link up for brunch and Kandi starts with the Dennis is shady bit again. Kandi goes on about how she knows people Dennis has dated and how he has some of their names tatted on his body. She says that she and Porsha are just starting to get cool again, which is why she hasn’t mentioned anything to Porsha. Instead, she’s just going to gossip incessantly to everyone else until they finally runteldat. You know how they love playing carrier pigeon, right? Anyway, they all claim they understand and say they’re just going to leave Porsha alone and not bring any of this to her doorstep. But we all know what show this is and how these ladies do. That’s going to get back to her at some point. Now, in other parts of the episode… We get to meet Eva’s mother. Her mom is in town to help her with wedding activities. Eva describes her wedding as the wedding her mom never had (because mom eloped in Vegas) so you already know some momzilla shenanigans will ensue. Eva’s mom is a trip. We see this during their dress shopping adventure and during another moment where Eva is driven to tears because she is so overwhelmed by her mother’s opinions. Now we all see where Eva gets it from. Gregg has gone vegan as he continues to pursue natural methods to fight his cancer, but he gets more bad news. They’ve found circulating tumors in his colon so the doctor highly recommends chemotherapy in order to kill all the remaining cancer cells swiftly. We’re just going to have to watch this play out. #LettucePray. Shamari and Ronnie DeVoe’s twins extravagant first birthday party goes off without a hitch and then we get back to Kandi’s loose lips. What we all knew would happen, actually happened. Yes, someone went and told Porsha what Kandi has been saying about Dennis. Kandi tells Todd and DonJuan that she suspects it was NeNe since NeNe and Porsha are close. That brings us to the episode’s conclusion. We wind down with Cynthia inviting the group to a wine tasting because she’s opening a wine bar. Kandi and Porsha arrive first and it’s awkward. Then, Cynthia and Nene come through and it’s still awkward, especially because Porsha keeps bringing up Dennis’ name in an odd way. Kandi gets the message so she finally spits out what she has been saying. Then she accuses NeNe of being the carrier pigeon. NeNe denies it but Porsha, in her confessional, says it was NeNe. There goes that. However, Porsha is over the drama. She’s happy with her man and not even trying to go there with Kandi so she does her best to remain unbothered. She even makes a joke about how she has joked about the fact that he has so many tattoos and that he mentioned getting one of her name. Moral of the story is, we knew somebody was going tell Porsha. Also, leave Porsha alone and let her be happy with the Hot Dog King! Source: Tim Mosenfelder / Getty Nelly Broke Up A Fight During A Dubai Yacht Party There was reportedly an incident in the desert last week when a fight broke out on a yacht full of rappers while they were sailing near Dubai–it was the result of a number of party go-ers eventually being questioned by the police about the situation. According to an exclusive report from Page Six , a brawl is said to have broken out on a party yacht. Guests in attendance at this shindig included rappers Future and Akon, with one unfortunate guest getting a bottle thrown right in their face. A “spy” told Page Six that Nelly is the one who ended up springing into action once the violence started. “When Nelly heard the commotion, he went running in to help the person who was hit in the nose,” their source told the publication. The “Country Grammar” star along with others were said to be questioned by local police about the fight, but Nelly was in the clear following his heroism in the situation. The region was filled with so many big stars because of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 25. Post Malone, The Weeknd, French Montana, Tyga, Craig David, Guns N’ Roses and Sam Smith all performed concerts in the days surrounding the race, which ended up being won by Lewis Hamilton.
