Note to all those celebrities who have dated Taylor Swift : Your loss! The singer proved her total awesomeness on Saturday, visiting children diagnosed with cancer at New York’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and inspiring such Facebook poses as the following: “We are still in awe, Taylor Swift is a class act all around, she was so sweet, compassionate, asked US questions, got on skype with my other daughter, stayed in our room and talked with us and was completely down to earth. “She hung out with us for at least 15-20 minutes. She was “scheduled” to be on our floor for 1 hour, but was here for 4.5 hours instead. Thank you Taylor, you are a beautiful woman inside and out!!” About a year ago, Swift also hung out in Nebraska with a girl suffering from this disease. Sad stuff, but impressive stuff from Taylor. A white character by this name, we should say, joking to a follower on Twitter that it feels “great” to be this color because “I’m no longer afraid of the Police!! LOL.” However, after Vanity Fair Tweeted that Cannon’s stunt is “cringe” worthy, the America’s Got Talent host shot back: “Don’t get your fancy panties in a bunch! GOP Senator Blasts Republican Party For Voter Suppression Practices The Republican party has long been engaging in voter suppression antics to keep minority and democratic voters in general from the polls and now one of their own is calling them out on their bullisht. Think Progress As his own party pushed through the Wisconsin Senate the latest in a series of measures to make it harder to vote in the state, Sen. Dale Schultz (R) blasted the efforts as “trying to suppress the vote” last week. Schultz, who is not seeking re-election and was the lone Republican to oppose a bill last week to limit the hours of early voting in every jurisdiction in the state, was a guest on The Devil’s Advocates radio program on Madison’s 92.1 FM last Wednesday. Asked why his party pushed the bill, Schultz responded, “I am not willing to defend them anymore. I’m just not and I’m embarrassed by this.” Schultz argued that this and dozens of similar bills before the Senate this were based on “mythology” that voter fraud is a serious concern: “I began this session thinking that there was some lack of faith in our voting process and we maybe needed to address it. But I have come to the conclusion that this is far less noble.” Noting that Republican President Dwight Eisenhower championed the 1957 civil rights law, Schultz said that he could not “find any real reason” for his party’s effort to make it harder to vote: SCHULTZ: It’s just, I think, sad when a political party — my political party — has so lost faith in its ideas that it’s pouring all of its energy into election mechanics. And again, I’m a guy who understands and appreciates what we should be doing in order to make sure every vote counts, every vote is legitimate. But that fact is, it ought to be abundantly clear to everybody in this state that there is no massive voter fraud. The only thing that we do have in this state is we have long lines of people who want to vote. And it seems to me that we should be doing everything we can to make it easier, to help these people get their votes counted. And that we should be pitching as political parties our ideas for improving things in the future, rather than mucking around in the mechanics and making it more confrontational at the voting sites and trying to suppress the vote. Schultz added that the suppression was “just plain wrong,” adding, “It is all predicated on some belief there is a massive fraud or irregularities, something my colleagues have been hot on the trail for three years and have failed miserably at demonstrating.” The GOP-controlled Assembly has already passed a similar bill. A 2011 study by the non-partisan Brennan Center found just seven cases of voter fraud in Wisconsin’s 2004 election, out of three million votes cast — a fraud rate of just 0.0002 percent. Bob Saget Comes Clean About His Wild Side In New Memoir Bob Saget admits he got a little close for comfort with his “Full House” co-star John Stamos back in the day. If you ask Bob Saget, he was wildly inappropriate on the set of “Full House” — and he slept with John Stamos. Saget makes these claims, and more, in his new memoir, “Dirty Daddy,” for which Confidenti@l got an advance copy. In it, the comic shocks with tales of drunken escapades, such as the time he went to Las Vegas with Stamos, his former “Full House” co-star, to see an Elvis impersonator. Saget recalls he got so drunk that the yogurt-swilling Stamos “ended up literally taking off my shoes, cutting up my room-service steak and feeding me so I wouldn’t yack.” “One of his sisters even stopped by to check on us. Then he put me to bed. He went to bed soon after. Next to me,” he writes. “When I woke up the following day I realized … I had just slept with John Stamos.” Saget admits that during his party days, he used to drive the streets of Hollywood drunk. He recalls driving home with an unnamed comedian friend along Sunset Blvd., when he suddenly blacked out. “We were actually only on our left wheels for a couple of seconds,” Saget writes. The comic says the edgy sense of humor he’s known for today often would come out in odd ways while he filmed his wholesome sitcom. “For example, when we would go over the [“Full House”] scripts together in a conference room with the producers and writers, we were all supposed to be taking notes but I’d be drawing [body parts] on the scripts and showing them to Dave [Coulier] and John like I was in fifth grade. I couldn’t help it,” he writes. Once, when he was given a rubber doll as a stand-in for Michelle (the character played by both Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen), he threw it around, laughing like a “comedian with no moral compass,” and was caught on TV monitors doing it. It is comprised of a gay couple, a single father, a guy with tattoos and, naturally, many graham crackers. The tagline? “Honey Maid, everyday wholesome snacks for every wholesome family.” Honey Maid Wholesome Commercial Said the senior marketing director for Mondelez (which owns Honey Maid): “We recognize change is happening every day, from the way in which a family looks today to how a family interacts to the way it is portrayed in media. “We at Honey Maid continue to evolve and expand our varieties to provide delicious, wholesome products so they can be a part of everyday moments of connection in a world with changing, evolving family dynamics.” Sadly, the backlash against this ad has already begun. “Saw graham cracker commercial where kids had 2 daddies. Ann Coulter: Immigration Bill Is Evidence GOP Hates Black People Ann Coulter bashing the GOP??? You don’t say!!! According to Biz Pac Review: Participating in a CPAC 2014 panel discussion Saturday, syndicated columnist and best selling author Ann Coulter slammed the GOP, saying the immigration bill championed by U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio was evidence that “Republicans hate black people.” In a tribute to William F. Buckley Jr.’s “Firing Line”, Coulter was debating liberal journalist Mickey Kaus, with Townhall’s Jonathan Garthwaite moderating. “I mean my whole life I’ve heard Republicans hate black people, I’ve never seen any evidence of it until I read Marco Rubio’s amnesty bill,” she charged. “We are the party that has always stood up for African-Americans. Who gets hurt the most by amnesty, by continuing these immigration policies it is low-wage workers, it is Hispanics, it is blacks.” Coulter equated immigration reform efforts to amnesty, suggesting President George W.
