The ‘Twilight’ stars spark more romance rumors as they’re photographed leaving airport. By Jocelyn Vena Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson arrive at LAX together on Tuesday Photo: Kevin Perkins/ Pacificcoastnews.com Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were recently spotted together , reportedly getting cozy and kissing, in Montreal, where Stewart is shooting “On the Road.” And now the pair has been seen at the airport in Los Angeles. The two landed together at LAX on Tuesday . In a number of shots taken of the “Twilight” stars, Stewart, wearing a flannel top, sunglasses and jeans, is seen walking steps ahead of Pattinson, who is wearing a t-shirt, jacket, army green pants, a cap and sunglasses. He is also seen carrying his guitar. The two then walked together to a car, where Stewart proceeded to flip the paparazzi off. Stewart and Pattinson are set to film the two-part “Breaking Dawn,” the final installments of “The Twilight Saga,” later this year. They have always been plagued by talk of an off-screen romance, though neither has confirmed or denied the rumors outright. Photos have sporadically been taken of the two in seemingly romantic situations. They were seen nuzzling at a Kings of Leon concert last summer and then, while out and about promoting “New Moon” last November, the duo was caught holding hands walking through, of all places, the airport. “I probably would’ve answered it if people hadn’t made such a big deal about it,” Stewart has said about the romance rumors. “But I’m not going to give the fiending an answer. I know that people are really funny about ‘Well, you chose to be an actor, why don’t you just f—ing give your whole life away?! Can I have your firstborn child?’ ” While Pattinson has claimed that “we have gotten better at hiding over the last year,” these photos will surely have fans wondering what the real deal is with the two stars. For her part, Stewart once said, “They just make up a story to go along with the pictures. If they never get the picture, there’s no story. By Josh Wigler, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Taylor Lautner Photo: Frazer Harrison/ Getty Images While fans know Taylor Lautner best for his hunky werewolf role in “The Twilight Saga,” Jacob Black is taking on a whole new persona for “Abduction,” the upcoming thriller from director John Singleton set to begin filming in a matter of days. “I start [shooting the movie] in, like, three days,” Lautner told MTV News on the black carpet of the L.A. premiere of “Eclipse” Thursday night (June 24). “I have a day off tomorrow, I go to New York the next day, and then I go to Pittsburgh. I’m so excited!” In “Abduction,” Lautner stars as a young teenager who discovers a stunning secret: The parents who have raised him his entire life are not his birth parents. When Lautner’s character reaches out to his real parents, he finds himself sucked into a deadly world filled with espionage. In addition to its thrilling story, “Abduction” boasts an impressive cast, including Lily Collins , Alfred Molina, Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs and Maria Bello. “This is a very real action thriller,” Lautner said. “It has a great story and a great cast.” In addition to his “Twilight” responsibilities and his impending turn in “Abduction,” Lautner’s upcoming film slate also includes the starring role in “Stretch Armstrong.” One project he’s not attached to is “The Butcherhouse Chronicles,” despite an extensive IMDb page suggesting his involvement alongside “Glee” actress Lea Michele. “Sorry, I don’t [have any idea],” Lautner said when asked about his involvement with the film. “Let’s set the record straight: No ‘Butcherhouse!’ ” The actor said he’s currently committed to filming “Abduction,” “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” and “Stretch Armstrong,” in that order. “Butcherhouse” or not, there’s no question that fans of Team Jacob will enjoy the young actor’s big-screen presence for several years to come. However, when MTV News caught up with him on the “Eclipse” premiere’s black carpet Thursday night (June 24) to ask him about an article in which he’d been quoted as saying he’s tired of all the “Twilight” work, Pattinson seemed to remember very clearly he had said nothing of the sort and quickly set the record straight. “That’s bullsh–!” Pattinson joked. “I hate reporters misquoting me, it’s so annoying.” Of course, realizing he’d just used a naughty word during MTV’s live feed from the premiere, he was quick to apologize for the blunder and cover his mouth. Nonetheless, regarding his reportedly being “tired” of playing the world’s most popular vampire, Pattinson denied it wholeheartedly: “Anyone who says they’re tired of this is really crazy.” Thinking about his life without “Twilight” reminds him of what he was doing before, “which was sitting around doing nothing.” (Aside from his role in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” of course.) “I love doing the movies,” Pattinson insisted. “I like all the people. I’ve had a great time on all of them. The cast is great.” When asked to put into words what he’ll feel when the series comes to an end in a couple of years, the teen heartthrob said simply, “It’s just weird. They’ve become so much a part of my life, it’s like divorcing someone. I guess Ill see. ‘Twilight’ star reportedly shares ancestry with Transylvanian leader on whom Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’ is believed to be based. By Gil Kaufman Robert Pattinson So that’s why he’s so believable! Just in time for the launch of “Eclipse,” genealogy researchers have unearthed evidence that the most famous fictional vampire of our time, Robert Pattinson, is related to the most famous vampire of all time, Vlad the Implaer. According to The Associated Press , researchers at Ancestry.co.uk have revealed that the 24-year-old “Twilight” hunk has ties to Vlad III Dracula, a.k.a. Vlad the Impaler, the Transylvanian leader widely thought to be the inspiration for the main character in Bram Stoker’s legendary 1897 novel “Dracula.” The tie between Pattinson and Vlad apparently comes via their common relationship to the British royal family. England’s Prince William and Prince Harry are Pattinson’s distant cousins and Vlad the Impaler was their distant uncle. Vlad was born in Transylvania and ruled over the region now known as Romania (then called Wallachia) from 1456 to 1462. Known as “the Impaler,” Vlad was famous for executing his enemies by driving wooden stakes into their bodies. “Tracing Pattinson’s family back to Vlad was difficult research, but the pieces that unraveled created the perfect accompaniment to the ‘Twilight Saga,’ ” said Anastasia Tyler, a genealogist at Ancestry.com. “Without any myth or magic, we find royalty and vampires lurking in Pattinson’s life — making his story just as supernatural as the one he’s playing on screen.” And, in a connection only a publicist could dream of, the folks at Ancestry.com say that “Twilight” series author Stephenie Meyer also has ties to the British princes’ lineage, which means that, yes, she too is related to Dracula. Coincidentally, “Eclipse” opens Wednesday, June 30. As it turned out, only one RPattz track popped up on the album, but Twilighters were on notice: The Brit actor harbored some serious musical ambitions. “I was doing music before I started acting, so I still have bits and pieces, and I’ve been playing in Portland [during the shoot],” Pattinson told us on the “Twilight” set . “I’ve been trying to write an album for years and years.” Two years later, with the third installment of the franchise about to hit theaters, Pattinson has found himself frustratingly disconnected from that passion and without the time to listen to much music or write his own material. “I haven’t been [paying attention to music] for a while,” he told MTV News. “I don’t know why. I’ve just sort of not been listening to it. It’s so odd when that happens. You’re just like, ‘I’ve forgotten what everything is.’ ” Yet Pattinson refuses to let his musical talents go to waste, as he’s trying to dive back into songwriting mode. Stymieing those efforts are his jam-packed schedule of shooting and publicity; he’s in the midst of shooting “Water for Elephants” with Reese Witherspoon at the same time that he’s promoting “Eclipse.” “I’ve just bought a couple new guitars, and I’ve started trying to write things again,” he said. “But I never have any time, ever.” You can tell how perturbed Pattinson is by his inability to carve out time to play music. And you’ve got to hope he figures out a way to make music work within the confines of his hectic professional career, because right now, he’s bummed without music in his life. “It’s kind of driving me crazy,” he said. Robert Pattinson Says Life Without Music Is ‘Driving Me Crazy’

By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Robert Pattinson Photo: MTV News “New Moon” introduced us to the shape-shifting wolf pack, the ferocious Volturi vampires and scene after scene of ass-kicking action. “I think that guys can definitely relate to the action-packed part of it and the fights that break out and all the special effects that will happen,” star Dakota Fanning said of the movie. But not all guys, it seems. Robert Pattinson himself confessed to MTV News that he never felt comfortable during those action sequences. “Normally I just feel so silly,” he said. “In ‘New Moon,’ I remember starting the fight with Taylor at the end. I felt like such a moron.” It’s not that Pattinson felt ill at ease throwing punches — it’s that his wardrobe was not exactly the sort of gear that made him feel like a badass action star. “You’re always wearing skinny jeans, a little blazer and a kind of woolen sweater and trying to act like you’re tough,” he laughed. “You just know it’s not going to happen.” Yet something must have happened to Pattinson in the months between wrapping “New Moon” in the spring of 2009 and the start of “Eclipse” filming in the fall, because the 24-year-old was much more relaxed when it came to shooting the action for the third installment in the “Twilight” franchise. Not that RPattz knows exactly what changed. “For some reason, I felt a lot more comfortable with the action stuff this time,” he said. That’s a good thing, since he had a ton of action scenes to shoot. You might even say Pattinson does three things in “Eclipse”: He runs around in action scenes, argues with Taylor Lautner and snuggles with Kristen Stewart.
