Jonathan Koppenhaver, a.k.a. War Machine, has been arrested in California and charged with the assault on Christy Mack he allegedly carried out last week. War Machine was apprehended in a hotel room outside Los Angeles. He was caught by U.S. Marshals and local police in Simi Valley, Calif., his hometown. He was in a hotel room with pizza and a small amount of cash. The fugitive MMA fighter, on the run since last weekend, did not put up a fight. He is being held without bond on a fugitive from justice federal charge. War Machine is accused of savagely beating Christy Mack last Friday morning, leaving her with 18 broken bones and a lacerated liver, police said. Koppenhaver later Tweeted: “The cops will never give me fair play, never believe me. Still deciding what to do but at the end of the day it’s all just heart breaking.” On Tuesday, authorities issued a warrant for Koppenhaver, charging him with several counts of battery, assault with a deadly weapon and other crimes. Mack, meanwhile, posted several pictures of her severe injuries and released her version of events as the porn community rallied to raise money for her. The adult film star also alleges that Koppenhaver stabbed her several times and that he had beaten up her previously before they broke up in May. Cops went to War Machine’s home in San Diego to remove two of his exotic snakes; Dog the Bounty Hunter , who vowed to hunt him down, was also present.
