The Bachelorette Fans Really Hate Donald Trump & Kim Jong Un

On Monday night, President Donald Trump shook hands with Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, as the heads of these countries met for the first time ever in an attempt to negotiate a nuclear arms treaty. But ABC viewers didn't care! Becca Kufrin was playing football with her suitors and trying to determine who deserved an all-important rose! Indeed, the network broke into The Bachelorette more than halfway through its latest installment in order to cover the aforementioned history meeting… much to the chagrin and extreme anger of many viewers. Who cares about the fate of the free world when we aren't certain yet of Jordan's fate on Season 14?!? Scroll down to read through the funniest Tweets in response to this very rude interruption: 1. It Was Quite the Episode! Two men went to the hospital! One man confronted his ex-girlfriend! Becca had very difficult decisions to make! You can read our recap HERE . 2. I’m Getting Mildly Upset! This person had an admittedly “mild” response to the interrupting. But he appeared to be in the minority, as you’re about to find out. 3. Who Does ABC Think It Is?!? A network in charge of its own programming and trying to bring as much important information to viewers as possible?!? Come on. 4. Trump, Schlump! Can we please return to male model Jordan and all his hilariously ridiculous quotes? I watch TV to get away from the President, thank you very much! 5. It Was Just a Handshake! What about Becca actually getting to first base with her suitors? At minimum! 6. So… Much… Drama Some viewers at least recognized the drama between parties involved, even if there was no rose to be handed out at the end of this meeting. View Slideshow

Kim Kardashian: Please Don’t Hate Me for Meeting with Trump!

Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian did a good deed. And it didn’t have anything to do with gratuitous nudity, believe it or not. Nope, while Kim usually brightens the world with selfies or fashion or mindless reality television trash, she used her powers for good by going to the White House to meet with Donald Trump about a woman named Alice Johnson. You probably know the details on this already — the story and the photo of Kim meeting Trump were pretty widely mocked. But just in case you missed it, Alice Johnson is a 63-year-old grandma who was sentenced to life in prison without parole for non-violent drug charges — her first arrest, even — all the way back in 1996. Kim took an interest in Alice, who was obviously unbelievably failed by the justice system, and she used her voice to help take the issue directly to the president. It worked: Trump granted Alice clemency, and she was released from prison on Wednesday . After hearing the good news, Kim tweeted that she was “grateful” to Trump, Jared Kushner, and to everyone who helped achieve the goal, because “her commutation is inspirational and gives hope to so many others who are also deserving of a second chance.” “I hope to continue this important work by working together with organizations who have been fighting this fight for much longer than I have and deserve the recognition,” she added. So that’s really nice, right? It was weird to see Kim at the White House with Donald Trump who is somehow still the president , of course, but it’s an undeniably good thing that Alice Johnson was able to be released. But still, lots and lots of people have been mocking Kim for what happened, and she acknowledges that in a new interview she did with Van Jones. For one, she admitted she was starstruck — not by Trump, but by the White House itself. “I never get starstruck,” she said. “I was starstruck over the Oval Office … It really felt powerful, and felt like, you can just feel the history in there.” “I just took a second to take it all in, and then we talked about it.” As for Trump, she explained that he told her that the situation with Alice “just isn’t fair,” and that “he knew that this is the right thing to do, and he said that from the start after he had heard her whole story and situation and he knew it was the right thing to do.” When it was mentioned to her that many other celebrities have been avoiding the White House these days, she said that “Kanye’s already given him legitimacy … you know, in that way.” Yeah, he has . Kim didn’t think she would be “used” in any kind of weird way for her celebrity, but “at the end of the day, he heard me out. We got the job done.” “I juat have to stay focused, and I have to know that if he is the only person in the world that could have done this for her, why wouldn’t I go talk to that person, if I had the opportunity to?” she asked. “Forget about my fears. Forget about my life. That was the right thing to do.” That’s actually pretty admirable, right? View Slideshow: Kim Kardashian Meets with Donald Trump (And Twitter Can’t Handle It) She’s been open about her dislike of Trump and his platforms and his ideals and pretty much everything he stands for, and we’ve heard several times that she struggles with how much Kanye likes him . So after all that, she still met with Trump, despite knowing how hard she’d be mocked and ridiculed, because Trump was the person who could help Alice, and she knew that was more important than her own image. We’re proud of you, Kimmie!

Nippy’s Revenge: Whitney Houston Fans Do LeBron James Powder-Toss Over Drake’s Pusha T And Kanye West Diss

Image via Raymond Hall/GC Images/Johnny Nunez/WireImage/Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images Whitney Houston Fans Rejoice That Drake Dissed Pusha T And Kanye What a day when the tables will turn… Not even 24 hours after Pusha T dropped his somewhat-regurgitated Drake diss, “Infrared”, from his new album DAYTONA, Aubrey has responded in kind . While many people are genuflecting at Aubrey’s feet for his fervent timeliness, there is another person who ultimately “won” yesterday. Whitney Houston. Upon release of the DAYTONA artwork, Pusha received immediate backlash for the album artwork he and Kanye West chose, a photograph of Nippy’s drug-strewn bathroom. So suffice to say, there were many who couldn’t be happier that Aubrey brought the smoke to his braided foe and his sunken homeboy listening to Drake disrespect the fools who disrespected Whitney today. pic.twitter.com/sTcQtbwNuo — king crissle (@crissles) May 26, 2018 Flip the page to see Whitney Houston fans revel in Pusha’s prompt karmic misfortune

Popeyes Worker Quits By Performing A Rap Song, Big Pun Would Approve

Source: Joe Raedle / Getty A Popeyes worker decided he was going to quit his job. That itself isn’t too surprising, but this guy took it to peak levels by announcing so with a rap song.  The now ex-Popeyes employee walked into his story and made the announcement that he was quitting. This is where we point out that he also had a hypeman in tow as he proceeded to kick a rap song about his intentions set to the tune of Big Pun and Joe’s hit “Still Not A Player.” “I don’t really wanna work here no more,” goes the updated refrain. It, was, lit. Did he get his last check, though? So my cousin decided to quit his job at Popeyes today. Black Father Stopped In Park By Officer After Complaint of “Suspicious Man With Baby”

Source: Facebook / facebook We can now add taking a stroll an in the park with your child in the park to the long list of innocently trivial things that warrants suspicion from a white person when a Black person is doing it.  The Root reported that a black father, Donald Sherman while on a peaceful stroll through a local Washington D.C. park with his son Caleb was stopped by a “special officer.” via GIPHY Sherman took to his Facebook to share his experience aptly titling it “Today in Living While Black”: “30 minutes into our stroll I got flagged by a security officer in one of those cars marked “Special Police” on the side. I was a bit confused as to whether she was looking for me to stop but she honked twice and pulled over so I got the picture. She told me that she received a complaint from someone who said there was a “suspicious man” walking on the bike path with a baby. She said that when the complainant was asked to describe my race, she declined.” Sherman shared the officer asked the complainant to describe the suspicious person and “she declined.” Regardless, he says the person who filed the complaint against him was a white woman on a bike who veered off when she saw him and his some heading towards her. He goes on to add that he a “pleasant” interaction with the officer and let him know she only stopped him because she wanted to find out what happened before sending him on his way.  He ended his story by accurately stating: “If this complaint had been made to a different security officer or an actual cop, things could have gone very differently. This is exactly why we have to talk about white privilege and why black lives matter. Because at any point doing anything anywhere my safety and my child’s safety could [have] been in jeopardy because [of] some well-intentioned complaint.”  This growing list of things black people can’t seem to do in peace without being harassed by white people is getting ridiculously long. —

Because The Internet: Donald Glover Answers The Question Of How To Love Someone “Different” And Still Be Conscious [Video]

Donald Glover Details How We Can Love Someone Different And Still Be Woke With the insane success of Childish Gambino’s latest music video, “This Is America,” people have turned to the fact that Glover has a white significant other in a effort to discredit his messages. Since the music video dropped last week, the question among the people has been whether or not someone can be completely conscious to their own people while loving someone of a different race, and now we know what Donald Glover has to say about the matter. While on a press junket for Star Wars , journalist Xilla Valentine asked the actor if you can still be woke despite the person you love being different from you. Though the question directly relates to the relationship between Lando and L3-37 in the film, the intentional relation to Gambino’s own life wasn’t lost on him. Glover seemed intrigued by the question, and goes on to answer it very eloquently. “That’s what love I think really is at the end of the day,” he begins. “It’s not even like a selflessness, it’s like an understanding that I’m making a safe place for you. It’s not safe out there. Somebody’s out to get you—that’s just nature. That’s just the nature of being, and I feel like yeah you can totally love somebody and still look out for yourself. But I think the question really is, do you see that thing or that someone else as a part of you? If you see us, we’re a people together, we’re a tribe together—we depend on each other. Then you always are gonna want the best for them I think.”

Welp: J. Cole Says He Doesn’t Care If Couch-Surfing Critics Can’t Stomach His “Boring” Bars

(Photo by Jeff Kravitz/Getty Images for The Meadows) J. Cole Talks Critics, Family Life And Wife’s Reaction To Kevin Hart Scandal When J. Cole drops an album, like his recent KOD release , there is a great debate over the appeal of his supposedly mundane music between his critics and his stans. It’s almost to the point that his critics are actually doing most of his marketing for him by making fun of people who think he’s ethereal. Welp, J. Cole doesn’t care where you put him on the spectrum of ‘greats’. In a recent interview with Vulture , writer Paul Cantor gets Cole to be candid on the subject. He says editors literally showed little interest in having him on magazine covers because he was “boring” but f— them! Magazines told him he was too boring for their covers, interviewers Googled him five minutes before he walked in. “In 2012, it was infuriating, it was mad hurtful, it felt more like I was a victim,” he says. “Once I took control of my own sh*t, stopped giving power to other people for my happiness and success, it became like,  Oh word, I’ll show you how boring I am.  And it became another person to prove wrong.” Oh, and another thing, despite being written-off behind bigger artist, he has a no. 1 record, so his critics are ‘f-cking idiots’. If Cole comes off as earnest, it’s because he is. And he knows  you think he’s boring , knows SoundCloud rappers diss him every second, and that Kendrick Lamar and Drake are mentioned before him in most best-rapper conversations. Once upon time, maybe he cared. But he also knows this — with his new record,  K.O.D. , he’s got the No. 1 album in the country,  what’s projected  to be the best-selling record of the year so far, and most important to him, it’s resonating deeply with his fans. “Now it’s even clearer,” he says of his critics. “You’re a fucking idiot.” Welp! Cole also gushes about how happy of a papi and hubby he’s being. Hit the flip to read what he says about his family.
