I’ve been a belieber since I was 12, and I’m now 18. When the Believe tour dates for NZ were released back in June, I just had to get meet and greets. The day the tickets went on sale, we had 6 computers in total to try and get them, but still we missed out. We managed to get row 8 diamond which I was still stoked about, but deep down I was absolutely devastated because I was sure that was my only chance to meet my idol. The next day I was at work when I got a text from my friend Stacey, saying “Hey text me when you’re in the office so I can ring you. I’m really bored.” I didn’t think anything of this because she quite often rings me at work. I replied and told her to ring now. I answered the phone and I couldn’t quite understand what she was saying cause she was crying so hard, but I managed to make out, “Sarah, we’re meeting Justin Bieber! I just got us front row!” I had never cried so hard in my life. I still to this day cannot understand how it happened, but I’m forever grateful. Fast forward to the day of the concert. Our flight landed at 7.30am and even though we weren’t even sure if he was in the country yet, we spent the day trying to find either him or the crew, but with no luck we made our way down to Vector Arena to wait for the meet and greet. When it was time for check in, that’s when the waiting really started. We then got taken into a cute little VIP room that was decorated with fairy lights and Justin’s music was playing. We walked past the stage on the way and saw Cody Simpson sound checking. At about 7.45pm we were moved out of the room and down some stairs. That’s when time really started going fast. When I got to the bottom of the stairs I could see girls walking passed outside crying. I had no idea I was that close. Then I saw Justin. I was shocked at how perfect he was, and that’s when I really started to panic. First it was Stacey’s turn. When she went in, that’s when I really started finding it hard to breath. One of the guys on security patted my back, said, “You got this,” and gentle pushed me in. As I entered the room I felt strangely calm. I walked right up to him and said, “Hi Justin can I please have a hug?” to which he replied, “Of course!” and he pulled me in for a hug. It seemed to last forever and he was rubbing my back. I cant even explain what it felt like to be holding my whole world in my arms. He smelt amazing like coconuts. He pulled away from the hug, but still had his hands on my waist. I thanked him for everything he’s done for me and that I loved him. He stared right in my eyes and said, “No, thank you, I love you.” He was so genuine when he said it, you could tell he really is thankful for us. He then said to “Come on this side sweetie,” so we could take the photo. He told me to enjoy the show, and that was it. As soon as I left the room I just bawled my eyes out. Even though it only lasted for a few seconds, it was by far the best moment of my life and I wouldn’t change anything about it for the world. I owe Justin my life, and I could never ever thank him enough for what he has done for me. If you haven’t yet met your idol, never ever give up, because I promise you it will happen. I’ve been wanting to write a My Bieber Experience for so long and I’ve finally been blessed to get the chance to do so. My friend Itze and I have been chasing Justin constantly throughout LA, sometimes catching a glimpse, but never in arms length of him. On September 6, 2013, after 4 years of trying, we swore that if we didn’t find him that night we would give up. Sounds harsh, but we had missed him so many times, we thought maybe it wasn’t meant to be. I read an article earlier that day showing Justin leaving a studio off of Sunset Blvd., and since he had been tweeting about working on music the previous nights, we hoped he would be there again. We got there around 9pm and the place was completely empty. There was a strip club across the street, a Burger King on the corner, and creepy men walking back and forth, so thank God we met a couple of beliebers there and weren’t alone. A couple hours went by and around 11pm we began saying goodbye to our new friends, when suddenly a white car zoomed by us bumping some turn up music into the studio driveway. We started dancing but went completely still when a blacked-out Escalade following it slowed down in front of us. After a few seconds it sped into the driveway too. In total, there were 5 of us, and we were confused but it all changed when Justin’s bodyguard came out, looked around, then said, “You guys, come here.” No second thoughts, we just followed this huge stranger into the studio driveway (which I don’t recommend doing any other day lol). He led us to the gate and told us to wait there. We could see the Escalade on the other side and immediately started hyperventilating. He was in the car, we just knew it. Then Justin came out of the car and was walking towards us with his 2 bodyguards, Khalil & someone else who immediately asked for all our phones. Justin walked through the gate to greet us and said, “What’s up guys? Should I leave my hair down like this or put it to the side?” He flipped his hair and no one said anything. I was so scared that it would turn awkward so I said, “It looks perfect either way.” He looked right at me, and said, “Thank you so much.” I was in shock and couldn’t believe I was talking to Justin. Everyone was still quiet and I didn’t know what to do so I stuck my hand out and said, “I’m Kimberly.” He shook my hand and said, “Nice to meet you Kimberly” and everyone else introduced themselves. He was so nice and we all tried really hard to be cool but we were actually shitting ourselves. The guy who took our phones told us right away that he was going to take our pictures in the order he had our phones, so when it was my turn I walked up to Justin and he flipped his hair again and put his arm around me. The guy was struggling to focus my camera since it was dark out (and Justin said he didn’t want flash) so Justin said something like, “Stupid phone” and laughed a little which shows in my picture. I kinda just stared at him after we took the picture then asked for a hug. Again, it was so surreal. Someone called him and we all just stared at him while he was on the phone for a few minutes. Totally weird but when he hung up someone thanked him for everything he’s done for us and said it was the best day of our lives and he smiled and said, “No, it’s the best day of MY life!” and he hugged her and began to walk back to the gate. We knew he had to go back and record and we didn’t want to seem annoying so we just began gushing, “Thank you’s and Goodbye’s.” I was the last person he walked by before getting last the gate and I asked him if we could take one last picture. I had my phone so I tried taking a selfie with him but my hand was actually shaking and I said “Sorry” out loud and he just smiled and touched my phone screen so it would focus. I said thank you again and he walked away and that was it. We actually met him, talked to him and got hugs. I can’t express how thankful I am for him and his humility and the amazing friends I’ve made because of him. If you ever see this Justin, thank you so much. To any other belieber who has never met him, don’t give up. I had been trying to meet him since ‘09 but it finally happened. Keep trying. It all started on September 8th, 2013. My friend was listening to the radio and Dj Franzen said Justin Bieber was coming to Las Vegas. I didn’t really believe it so I went to my local radio station where Dj Franzen mixed and he told me Justin was going to the Mayweather fight. My friends and I assumed Justin would stay at a certain hotel so on September 14th, we went to where he was staying. I arrived with my friend at about 11am, and my 2 other friends got there at 9am. We waited a few hours in the heat, but because Las Vegas gets so hot, we walked to my friends house to get a few bottles of water, and then went back. At that time it was about 1pm. I saw a black Escalade drive by, and the windows were kind of tinted, but I was able to see Za through the window. My heart was in my stomach, so my 3 friends and I crossed the street to where the car was parked and Za came out and we said hi. He said hi but told us to stay quiet! We waited about 2 minutes, and then the other side of the Escalade facing us, opened. Justin was sitting right there in front of my eyes. I never imagined I’d see this day, not this sudden at least! We said hi to him, and he said, “Wassup guys!” and we asked if we could take a picture and he said, “Yeah hold on!” and he stretched. Justin came towards us. He shook our hands except for one of my friends because her hands were covering her mouth from being in shock, but he said “Nice to meet you guys, how are you?” we replied with, “Fantastic!” My friend asked him how his drive was and Justin replied with, “What? Drive? *smiles* I didn’t drive, I flew here! *chuckles*” My friend got his first picture, but before I got to take it, he told me to hold on and he sneezed twice! It was so cute, we said, “Bless you” and he said “Thank you, thank you!” After that I got my pictures with Justin and then my other friend got her picture. Justin had his phone in his hand and his hand slipped and the song that was playing was ‘Lolly.’ My friend started singing it, and I sang a little bit but I don’t think he heard, but he then asked us if we wanted to see the music video! We without hesitation said yes, and he showed us! While the video was going, my friend was rapping it and he goes, “Sing it! sing it!” While we were watching the video, we asked him if he just got the video! He said yes, and that meant the first time he watched it was with me and my 3 friends! I asked him if he enjoyed shooting the video and he replied with yes and he smiled at me. A random lady that worked at that hotel was taking pictures of us and Justin watching the video, and she asked him to look up and he shook his head implying that he wanted us to have our moment with him, with no interruptions. In total we spent around 10-12 minutes with him and it was absolutely perfect. I wouldn’t change it for a thing. I waited 5 years for my day to finally come, and it did. My name is Hannah, I’m 14 years old and I live in Dubai but I’m from Canada. I met Justin on May 4th, 2013 and it was the best day of my life. I didn’t win the meet and greet tickets, I won them! On April 4th, my best friend Paige was over and we were talking about the concert which was the month after. In Dubai, the concert was standing, no seats, so everybody who got fan-pit tickets got their name put in a draw to meet Justin. We knew that we were never going to win because it was like a 1 out of 35,000 chance. An hour passed and Paige and I were in my kitchen. She got a call from her dad and she pursed into tears. Her dad had told her that she won and that the radio station was going to call her and tell her that she had won, so she hung up the phone and a few seconds later the station called. They told her that she won and over the phone I yelled, “Can she bring a friend?!” Then Brent Black (the radio host) asked to talk to me and told me that I was meeting Justin as well. Here is a recording of us winning the meet and greet tickets. On the day of the concert, Paige and I got there early, about 3 hours early. When it was time, they started collecting tickets from everybody but hadn’t let people in the gates yet. Since Dubai is really hot, I got very claustrophobic, hot and I passed out. The main people who were collecting the tickets let Paige, our friend Hasnaa, Paige’s mum and brother and I through the gates early to get me to the ambulance. Once they checked me breathing they started to let people in through the gates, but before that, they told Paige, Hasnaa and I to run so we could get to the front of the stage. We ran through and Hasnaa was the first one to get there, so Paige and I ran to the building where we were going to meet him. We saw a lady with our names on a list and she crossed us off and she gave us our VIP passes. We went through a hallway where the waiting room was. About an hour before I met him, Justin’s back up dancers came into the room and said hi to all of us. Later, Paige and I ran to the front of the line and we were about the fifth and sixth people to meet Justin. They piled around 3-4 people in the room at a time. They finally signaled Paige and I to enter the room and I heard her whisper in my ear, “Hannah can I please go before you?” I told her that she could and before I knew it I was walking up to my whole world. He walked up towards me with a huge smile on his face and he looked at my with his gorgeous chocolate brown eyes. I said hey to him and he looked at me and said, “Hey babe.” He held out his arm for me to go under and he put his arm around my waist. I did the same to him. After the picture was taken I walked away and Paige was waiting for me outside and we both started crying. She hugged me and she said, “I know, Hannah, I know.” We both calmed down a little bit and as we were walking out of the building we were handed a Believe record and I just stared at it in shock. I still can’t believe that I met my idol. I called my sister and I told her that I had just met him, and she asked me how it was, and I told her that he’s so beautiful! You see him in the pictures and he’s a God but in person, you realize that he’s real, he’s not made up, he’s not a robot, he’s this beautiful human being.
