Redemption features production from Mike WilLL Made It, Hit-Boy, Boi-1Da, Sounwave, Jake One and more. The album opens with “The Bloodiest” and shows Rock in top form with his signature aggressive style. Rock taps Brent Faiyaz for vocal assistance on “For What It’s Worth” and Hykeem Cater gives Rock a heater of a track for “Knock It Off” that serves as one of the album’s early highlights. Pops and Crooklin provide the backdrop for “OSOM” featuring J. Cole. Rock goes into autobiographical mode while sharing his rise to fame while struggling with his ties to the streets. Cole gives another one of his solid performances, mirroring Rock’s somber tale of battling with the pressures of being a rap star. “Baby Daddy” Father’s Day Greeting Card Pulled From Target Target has been called to task over racial insensitivity after a photo of one of their Father’s Day cards has gone viral. While searching for a greeting card for her husband at a Rockwall, Texas Target, Takeisha Saunders noticed that the only card that featured a picture of an African-American couple read “Baby Daddy” om the front . She took to her social media, outraged that she could find nothing else more respectful, or featuring a Black couple with the insinuation that they were married. According to ABC , after an onslaught of outrage, Target yanked the cards from about half of its 1800 nationwide store locations. Take a look at the card below. It appears that the card is meant to be some sort of loving joke between a married couple with children, however, the couple featured on the front being Black left a pretty sour taste in the mouths of those who got an eyeful of the sentiment on social media. As Target spokesman Joshua Thomas said in a statement to ABC News, “We want all guests to feel welcomed and respected when they shop at Target. We were made aware of some concerns about this card last week and are working with our vendor to have it removed from Target stores. We appreciate the feedback and apologize. The Pied Piper’s ex-wife Andrea Kelly appeared on “Sister Circle” Wednesday for an exclusive sit-down with host Syleena Johnson where she detailed abuse allegations at the hands of the singer. According to Drea she initially wasn’t strong enough to accept that she was a victim of domestic violence, but she is now. “You have to love somebody enough to tell them enough,” said Andrea. “I don’t believe my ex-husband has enough people in his life to be real with him to be honest with him. I wasn’t strong enough. “How can I be a voice for the voiceless when I don’t have my own?” she added. “I had to get to a point to accept that I’m a victim of domestic violence.” Later Jocelyn Savage’s parents came out and told the hosts that their daughter who they STILL believe is being held against her will was diagnosed with two STDS; herpes and chlamydia after sleeping with the singer. As previously reported another woman in Texas alleged that R. Kelly gave her the untreatable herpes virus and is currently suing him. The rainbow haired rapper took to Instagram Live as he and his crew attempted to enter to the New York Hip-Hop station’s annual concert but were turned away. Naturally the rejection did not sit well with the Brooklyn native which lead to several rounds of arguing with police on site at the event and even a confrontation with local rapper Loccie Shmula. Of course Shmula took to social media to explain the backslide. While at the time it was uncertain why the Brooklyn native was denied entrance, HOT 97’s Ebro Darden has confirmed that he wasn’t invited to perform. “Reason we didn’t have you on Summer Jam is cause you don’t know how to shut up bro” he explained on “You Played Yourself” segment during the Ebro In The Morning show. Darden went on to detail how he was trying to give him some stage time but things went left. “I had a whole thing but I wasn’t gonna tell him in advance because his dumbass doesn’t know how to shut up,” Ebro said. “We had a whole plan. People was working. People really wanna help this kid but he doesn’t know how to shut up.” The former executive turned on-air personality also alleges that Tekashi allegedly covered up his face tattoos to get pass security. “Well if Summer Jam really fell off so bad fam, why you outside with makeup on covering up your tattoos trying to get inside?” You can view Ebro’s response below. In April, Lauren Hashian gave birth to Dwayne Johnson’s third daughter . Now that little “pebble,” Tiana Gia, is nearly two months old. Johnson shared a photo of Hashian breastfeeding the precious baby. But it’s what Johnson himself is doing in the photo that is really getting attention. Johnson captions the photo that you’re about to see with: “I’ll handle this business.” The image depicts him feeding his girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, while she cradles their two-month-old daughter, Tiana Gia, breastfeeding her. “Mama @laurenhashianofficial has her hands full nursing/feeding Baby Tia,” Johnson explains. “So I’m feedin’ mama her dinner.” He continues, stating that to do so is: “my pleasure.” Johnson says that he has “so much respect to her and all mamas out there holding it down and running things.” “Just landed,” he says, adding: “And good to get all my girl’s settled in.” Awwww! This is such a wholesome family photo. While some might argue that what he was doing deserves a better label than chivalrous , knees grow much less tolerating over time. This was a cute family photo. The post received over 5 million likes in the first 24 hours alone. But why, you wonder, are so many people talking about it? One might be tempted to say that this is because Hashian is breastfeeding their daughter, but she’s covered and angled in such a way that no part of her breast is exposed. (Which is fine — women’s liberation is about showing or concealing as much as you like, not about just shedding clothing no matter your comfort level) No, what makes this picture so beautiful has less to do with the breastfeeding and more to do with Johnson’s actions. Even with his busy schedule, he continues to play an active role in his family. He can’t nurse Tiana himself, but he can certainly be involved. And that’s beautiful. Last month, Dwayne Johnson penned a beautiful Mother’s Day tribute to Lauren Hashian. In it, he praised her virtues as a mother, but also as a human being. She takes on tremendous responsibilities when it comes to his life and the life of their family, from working out the logistics of uprooting their lives to travel with him while he films to taking on added parenting duties to compensate for his work schedule. Earlier this year, he revealed his depression battle and even his mother’s suicide attempt . Of course, he has also shared — or potentially overshared — about much lighter subjects.
