My name is Amy and I met my idol on the 21st February 2013 in Manchester. I am so grateful and will never stop being a belieber. On Thursday 21st, my mom and I made our way to Manchester to meet Justin. I was so happy and excited, I couldn’t wait. Around 6’o’clock we showed the security our tickets and they gave us are bags with cool signed Bieber merchandise inside and we entered the arena. While we were waiting for Justin we heard lots of screaming coming from outside and then Kenny came into the room, we all started going crazy. Kenny was taking pictures with a few fans that was at the end of the room but everyone that was in the line to meet Justin didn’t want to move so we just ended up shouting at Kenny to come down to us. He was busy and couldn’t stop for long so he shouted to us, waved and left. The security then led us backstage and into another room. Then we heard Justin shout “I love you” and jump out of the tent. Everyone went crazy again and I was crying so much. I had to try and stop because I didn’t want to cry for my picture. I was one of the first people to go in to meet Justin and I was shaking like mad. The first person I saw was Alfredo and I could feel a lump in my throat, I again, had to hold my tears back. He smiled and waved at me. I turned around and there he was, my idol, looking so perfect. I was in the same room as the person that saved my life, Justin Bieber. I walked over to him and he opened his arms and asked me how I was. I said, “I’m so happy to be here” and “thank you so much for everything.” He smiled and said, “It’s no problem and I’m happy you’re here too.” I gave him a hug and he put him arm around my shoulder and we took the picture. I gave him another hug and told him I loved him and he said he loved me too. As I was walking out he ran his hands down my arms and held my hand. I could not believe what had just happened. When I walked out the room I broke down in tears. I had just met the person that I had been watching on YouTube for 4 years and buying his albums, etc., and now I had met him. It was a dream come true. My mom held me as I cried and cried. When I calmed down a bit it was time to go in and take our seats. While we were waiting for Cody to come out I rang my cousin and told her all about meeting Justin. When Cody and Carly had finished, Justin came out and I broke down again. Did Tiger Woods steal his new girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn, out from underneath Kris Humphries of all people? A new report in Us Weekly implies exactly that. Yes, if this is to be believed, Liger was almost Lump. The new issue of the celebrity news magazine claims that Kris Humphries , Kim Kardashian’s infamous ex, was very much in the picture with Vonn romantically. That is, until Tiger Woods came along. “Tiger wasn’t her only suitor,” the mag says, quoting a source close to Vonn. “Bachelor No. 2 was none other than Kim Kardashian’s ex Kris Humphries.” Lindsey Vonn and Humphries are both from Minnesota and have a lot in common … but there was never any report of them being together at any point. In any case, Vonn was warned about the perils of getting involved with Tiger, but their friendship developed over several months and then turned romantic. Earlier this month, she announced that she is in fact dating Tiger Woods . Woods, who recently reclaimed his title as the world’s #1 golfer, is clearly in a good place these days, both on and off the golf course. But will that last? Not if a second report is to believed. Star alleges that Lindsey and Kris are still hitting it – behind Tiger’s back! After their infamous Facebook PDA too! A fake romance that fizzled and was then rekindled? That’s a new one. He’s facing more criticism than ever before, but Justin Bieber wants to make it as clear as can be: “The biggest misconception about me is that I’m a bad person,” Bieber tells Us Weekly in an exclusive Q&A. “I get upset about that. But Bieber courted plenty of controversy in the weeks leading up to this brush with the law, such as when he was photographed shirtless on the street in London (“I still had part of my tour wardrobe on and was rushing into my hotel,” he says). And then he was caught in a gas mask while shopping. (“I wanted to hide my face from all the cameras,” he explains. “They got it as a joke. My friends and I like messing around.”) And of course he collapsed onn stage in England. (“I passed out from the flu. The worst thing to me is disappointing my fans – we only had five songs left – so they gave me oxygen, and I decided to finish the show and then go to the hospital. Some people can call me selfish, for going to both London book signings, but we all know how much we would die to go to them! Luckily for me, I had the best times when I went, and I’m beyond blessed to have had these opportunities. On September 12th 2013, me and my mum met Justin, and all I can recall was how I told him “Thank you for everything, I love you so much!” He looked into my eyes, smiled and said “I love you too.” Once I took my book, I started to cry, so Justin grabbed my hand, squeezed it, rubbed his thumb along mine and just carried on smiling at me, looking into my eyes. I don’t know how to explain it. I mean, I can say I love Justin, but at that moment, I knew I was in love with him. Once I let go, he spoke to my mum, who was happy because she’s a Belieber too, and then we left. All I remember is screaming in front of everyone that Justin held my hand, and he most probably heard it. I went outside, fell on the floor and sobbed for at least 4 hours. By February 23rd 2013, I was much more calm, and relaxed for the second meeting. I waited with my best friend, and some new friends, before finally getting to go inside the room. All I remember was that that girls screamed, and I went “Shhh! He’s talking with people. Calm yourselves.” and mentioning that you wouldn’t want people screaming when you had your turn. It all went to quickly from there, and when I was in front of him, I just kind of blabbered. Fredo was recording it, and he got me saying everything. When I told Justin that my best friend and me met at his My World Tour, he replied with “Aw! That’s amazing.” and he smiled at my best friend, Becky. This picture above is my life and I will never ever regret being a belieber because it has been the most amazing experience ever. It was the first concert of the European leg. I had really bad seats in the back of the arena but I was so thankful for that. I entered the arena and it was just so surreal to think I was about to experience the Believe Tour. After all those days of counting down, they were now gone. I got up to my seat, was checking my phone and tweeting Justin. Suddenly I got a email and it read, “RE: Bieber Fever contest, CONGRATULATIONS Nicole you have just been invited to attended the photo meet and greet February 18th.” I was in shock and I screamed so loud. I told my friend that was at the concert with me and we burst into tears. Everyone was giving us weird looks and a girl asked what was wrong. I told her that I won meet and greets for tomorrow night and then I couldn’t stop crying. They were so happy for me and I had to tell someone so I rang my mum. She didn’t believe me at first but then I sent her the picture of the email. The concert went on and it was amazing, like the best night of my life. The concert finished and we made are way home. I really couldn’t sleep all night. If you said the day before that I was going to meet him, I would literally just laugh in your face. The next day I got to the arena about 3:30 p.m. and the guy called out my name. We queued for about an hour in the cold then entered the arena. After waiting in a room with about 150 people I heard screaming. Dan Kanter, Kenny and Nick Demoura walked out. We couldn’t leave our place in line so we waited but they didn’t come over to us. Finally Justin arrived and I met him at about 7 o’clock. We had to get into groups of 6 so we did and security was like go on in. My heart sank. I walked in and there he was standing looking like a ken doll. I was saying, “I love you,” and the security told me to calm down. I was like how am I supposed to be calm when Justin Bieber is right there. Justin was looking me in the eyes saying, “It’s okay. Calm down,” and my heart sank when another girl got beside Justin. The security kept pulling me back and Justin was waiting for me to come next to him and they kept pushing so Justin grabbed his hand over security and held my hand and pulled me over beside him. I said, “I love you your beautiful,” and he said, “Aww thank you sweetie.” My heart was in bits. I felt his back and I was about to cry, but I wanted a nice picture so I didn’t. Right after I asked him for a hug and he did. I left the room and they cut my wristband off. I broke down crying, like I was all over the place. “Wow I just met Justin Bieber. Roland Emmerich likes the Air Jordans scene in White House Down . As you may have heard, Emmerich and the leading men of his movie, Jamie Foxx and Channing Tatum , gave moviegoers in New York and London a sneak peek of about eight minutes of footage from their Washington-under-siege movie on Tuesday, and, at the risk of sounding like Chance the Gardener, I had the unexpected opportunity of watching the director watch his handiwork from the audience. Emmerich and Foxx appeared before a hyped-up crowd at a Regal cineplex in Manhattan’s Union Square and were joined via satellite by Tatum, who was at a screening in London. Audiences in both locations were first shown the trailer for White House Down (posted below), then Good Morning America ‘s Sam Champion asked a lot of how-did-it-feel-type questions of the trio and their respective roles. Tatum plays John Cale — screenwriter James Vanderbilt must be a Velvet Underground fan — a cop who is on a tour of the White House with his daughter when it is attacked during a coup attempt, and President James Sawyer, portrayed by Foxx, is taken hostage. The two men team up to battle the paramilitary forces — homegrown, based on Emmerich’s comments — that are attempting to take control of the country and, on a more human scale, to rescue Cale’s daughter. After Emmerich admitted to some reservations about showing an extended look at his work-in-progress, the lights went down a second time and the crowd was treated to approximately eight minutes of footage that better established Tatum and Foxx’s characters. Prior to the White House tour, Cale is shown apologizing to his daughter for not being a better dad and lifting her spirits by telling her about the White House tour they’re going to take right after his interview for a plum Secret Service gig. That interview which is conducted by a tough-talking Maggie Gyllenhaal, goes terribly, and, based on the footage shown, implausibly. Gyllenhaal is shown quoting evaluations by Cale’s law-enforcement superiors and there are enough negative ones that, given that the job involves protecting the president, it’s unlikely the interview would have even been scheduled. But things picked up considerably from there. Just before all hell broke loose, a White House tour guide refers to the part of the White House “that got blown up in Independence Day ,” which the crowd loved. That was followed by extended footage of another national monument, the Capitol Building being destroyed in spectacular fashion. (Trust me, it’s more memorable than the short version you see in the trailer.) By then, Emmerich had left his seat next to Foxx at the front of the theater and plopped down on the floor in the middle of the theater next to yours truly — there were no seats to be had at this point — presumably to watch the footage from the crowd’s perspective. As the Capitol Building imploded, I watched Emmerich out of the corner of my eye to see if the German filmmaker was looking impressed with himself or particularly gleeful at the cinematic destruction of an iconic American image. He wasn’t. He watched the footage intently but without any evident emotion. The scene that got an obvious rise out of Emmerich was one in which, after Cale and Sawyer make their way to the president’s living quarters, the Commander-in-Chief breaks out a pair of sweet Air Jordans. The director laughed out loud at that scene, and also appeared to enjoy another bit of comic relief later in the picture where Foxx kicks a terrorist who’s grabbing at his feet and says, “Get your hands off my Jordans!” (Foxx told the crowd that he was not playing a fictional version of Barack Obama, but that he did do “Obama-type things” in the movie, and the Jordans certainly seemed to reference our actual president’s love of basketball.) Eight minutes of footage does not a movie make, but if Emmerich can maintain the level of humor, action and drama that his sneak peek demonstrated, White House Down could potentially dwarf the $30.5 million opening weekend that Olympus Has Fallen notched and become another Independence Day-sized hit for Emmerich.
