I drove 5 hours to go see Justin in Ottawa on July 23rd because he wasn’t coming back in Montreal for the second leg of the Believe Tour. 216 days before the show, my friend and I bought the VIP DIAMOND package, it was hard but we finally got places on Floor A Row 7. We were freaking out, we couldn’t believe that we were so close from the stage. This was like a dream coming true because being in front of Justin couldn’t be more perfect. The only dream that I have had since 2009 was to meet Justin. We didn’t buy M&G because they were too expensive for us, so we decided to enter the BieberFever contest. The days passed, and our hopes to meet Justin started to die down. Each day, we saw people who were going to the same show as us sharing their contest picture and I thought our odds were low. Beliebers on Twitter all said to never give up on my dreams because everything is possible, but it was hard to believe in what they said. The day before the show, I was at the BayShore Shopping Center for Cody Simpson’s CD signing at HMV. I was waiting to see him, when one of friends texted me, “Check your emails.” I went on my email and then I saw BIEBER FEVER CONTEST JULY 23RD KANATA. I opened the email and saw that I had won the contest! I couldn’t handle this, I was shaking and crying for like an hour. I called all my friends to tell them that I was going to meet Justin and they were all so happy for me. We didn’t end up seeing Cody because I was so in too much shock over winning these meet and greets. The day after was the big day, I don’t know why but I slept all the night and so well. We woke up a 5:30 am and we went to the venue, Scotiabank Place. This same day, Pattie was also having a book signing 10 minutes away, so we went there to meet her. She is amazing! I started to cry when I saw her, and I told her about meeting Justin and she was like, “Oh really I’m so happy for you sweetie.” She was so nice and she gave me a hug. After meeting Pattie, we went to the venue again to pick up our meet and greet wristbands. We missed the first part of the show because Justin was sleeping before our meet and greet. I was freaking out, this was the moment that I was waiting for so long. The bodyguard opened the black curtain, and Justin was standing right in front of me! Justin was playing with Fredo and Kenny, they were play fighting. We waited in the black curtain for like 3 minutes and Justin finally came to us. He said, “Sorry to make you wait guys, thank you so much for coming.” I was freaking out again. After the picture I asked him for a hug and he said, “Yes of course” and I said to him, “I love you so much,” and he replied, “Love you too!” The bodyguard pushed me and I was about to exit but Fredo looked at me and said, “Hey whats up!” I was like, “OMG DID HE JUST TALK TO ME?” After the meet and greet, my friends were waiting for me outside and I started to cry. They all hugged me and were so nice. I told them what happened and they were crying with me. These moments were awesome. I’m Brianna and this is my Bieber experience. I met Justin on July 15, 2013 at his Believe concert in Buffalo, NY. Once my mom told me she got me meet & greets, the day after my last Believe concert on December 1st, I couldn’t wait to actually MEET my idol. The days passed by very quickly, and before I knew it, it was finally July 15th. The car ride from where I lived to Buffalo took only a couple hours, but they felt like forever because I was so excited and nervous to meet Justin! When I arrived to the arena where the concert was being held, I checked in at the box office to find out where the VIP meet & greet line would be. After some time, my new friends, my mom, and I were eagerly waiting in line, seconds from seeing Justin. The security guards told us no cameras or video should be brought in while meeting Justin, but I used a voice recording app on my phone so I could record myself meeting him. Right before I saw Justin, I saw Justin’s grandpa. I immediately started waving and smiling until he noticed, then he waved and smiled back. He seemed really nice. Before I knew it, it was my turn. As I was walking into the tent I was quickly focused on a person wearing a black hat, red glasses, a black shirt, black pants, neon orange high tops, and lots of chains. I stopped dead in my tracks, mesmerized by his image. He looked so perfect, flawless is a better word for it. He turned around to face me and I quickly walked toward him. I was extremely starstruck so I blurted, “Oh my gosh Justin! Can I have a hug?” He simply and quietly responded with, “Sure.” Justin seemed tired, most likely because he had been on the road most of the day, but he seemed happy. When I finally processed what was happening, I went in for a hug and I wrapped my arms around his waist. I could feel his abs through his shirt. (I was trying really hard not to scream!) Justin then rested his arm around me, while we both smiled for the camera. I then thought to myself, I am meeting my IDOL right now, I am holding my WORLD around my arms! Tears began forming in my eyes, and after the picture was taken I began to walk away but I turned around and I looked at Justin and said, “I love you!” I saw a half-smile placed on his face while he replied with, “You too!” All this happened within 15 seconds, and it was the best 15 seconds of my life. My name is Patricia, I’m 15 years old and I met Justin on July 23rd at the Ottawa, Ontario concert. First off I’m so excited that I’m going to be writing my Bieber experience after waiting 5 years to meet Justin. I was a Belieber from the very start and and I’m still here! Basically how I ended up getting meet and greets was when I was out of luck with everything, I started begging family members for money, but all of them said no and my mother simply couldn’t afford $650. But, when I asked my great uncle, he said he would lend me the $650 but I would have to work for it. I worked my butt off until July 23rd. I worked for my uncle back to back and I was able to pay him back the money. Then the concert came. Ottawa beliebers were planning this since the last time he was in Ottawa. We planned on making a sign that said, “Welcome Home Kidrauhl” because it was his first show back in Canada. It worked out great, so we waited outside for his tour bus, but he didn’t come out because he was running late. After that I made my way into the M&G. Walking down 2 flights of stairs down to the VIP Party, I met Kenny ! He smelt like roses and he is so sweet. Unfortunately I did not get a picture with him. I also met Alfredo twice after the M&G but he couldn’t take a picture because the security guards weren’t letting us. The party when on and it was time for the M&G. Waiting in line was the most hectic part. The lined moved pretty quickly though. I walked in and saw Justin standing there with his snap back, sun glasses and stripped tank top. Gosh was he beautiful. He looked so sweet and someone to be gentle with. When it was my turn I walked up to him and said, “Hi Justin.” He smiled with a little smirk and wrapped his right arm around me, I wrapped my arm around him and looked in the camera and took the picture. I couldn’t remember if I smiled or not because I was just so shocked that I was standing beside my idol. I got paranoid but I kept cool and turned around and smiled. “Can I have a hug?” I asked before I left. “Sure,” he replied and he hugged me for a good 15 seconds. I whispered in his ear that I loved him very much and I thanked him for everything, then I had to leave. As I walked out of the curtain I bawled like a baby. I love Justin so much and he’s the best idol ever. I love him and I can’t wait until he comes back to Ottawa because I am for sure going again. To everyone who has a dream far beyond their expectations, go for it. Never let that dream go, accomplish it. No matter how hard you work, no matter how tired you are, at the end your dream will come true and it will be totally worth the hard work. My dream was to finally meet Justin. I worked my ass off for this and I never let that dream go. I believed, just like Justin taught me to. Don’t worry, it might not be for a while, but trust me, your day will come and it will be the best day of your life. I promise. Fight for what you want. Walking in there and seeing your idol, your hero, you’re inspiration, stand right in front of you is the best feeling in the world. I only got a couple of seconds with him, but it was worth it. The odds are officially in the favor of Lily Rabe. The American Horror Story alum is the latest big name to sign on for parts one and two of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay , as she’ll come on board the final two films in this franchise as Lyme. The District 2 victor is one of the first citizens to join the rebellion, teaming with Katniss and company in their mission to take down the Capitol. Despite release dates of November 2014 and November 2015, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay is already filling up its cast. In the past few weeks, Natalie Dormer and Julianne Moore have both signed on for significant roles. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire , meanwhile, hits theaters theaters on November 22. It’s safe to say we’re a little excited for it.
A Charleston, S.C. couple says their family dog sniffed out abuse by a babysitter who was supposed to be caring for their seven-month-old son. Benjamin and Hope Jordan moved to the area in 2012 and hired Khan to watch their son, Finn. Khan came up clean in a background check, they say. Family Dog Reveals Abusive Babysitter “We felt like Alexis was a good fit at the time,” recalls Benjamin Jordan, but he says he soon started to get bad vibes courtesy of their pet dog Killian. “About five months into her being our baby sitter, we started to notice that our dog was very protective of our son when she would come in the door.” “He was very aggressive towards her and a few times we actually had to physically restrain our dog from going towards her.” Based on Killian’s behavior, Hope was worried enough to place an iPhone under the couch and let it record what happens while they were at work. Sure enough, they were horrified what they heard. “It started with cussing,” Jordan said. “Then slap noises and his crying changes from a distress cry to a pain cry. I just wanted to reach through the audio tape, go back in time and just grab him up.” “To know that five months I had handed my child to a monster, not knowing what was going on in my house for that day,” the mom tearfully recalled. Charleston police arrested Khan a few weeks after the couple reported the abuse, and she confessed, pleading guilty to felony assault and battery. Khan was ordered to serve 1-3 years in prison for her crimes. As part of a plea bargain that spared her an even harsher sentence, Khan will be placed on a child abuse registry and barred from future work with children. She is still not eligible for parole until after a year behind bars. “That is fantastic news to us. To know that maybe Finn’s ordeal has possibly saved another child’s life in the future,” said Benjamin Jordan. “Had our dog not alerted us to the trouble, had my wife’s instincts not said we need to make something happen, it could have been Finn that was killed by the babysitter.” “You never know.” Fortunately he appears to be doing fine despite the ordeal. The Jordans say their son is holding up well and has no lingering effects from the abuse. Let’s hear it for Killian!
Justin Bieber will not be playing Robin in the Man of Steel sequel. The singer himself pretty much squashed that rumor. But now new chatter has cropped up around the singer: Is he dating Jacque Rae Pyles?!? The young artist met Bieber on the set of the film School Gyrls in 2009. She and Justin were photographed together a number of times back then, though they never confirmed a romance. However, with Selena Gomez now officially out of the picture, Pyles sat alongside Bieber at New York Fashion Week this month (Instagram-ing the photos above as proof) and was also spotted exiting his private plane in Las Vegas over the weekend. Moreover, Pyles attended the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards and was jokingly called out by Bieber over Twitter, as the 19-year old told her to “get off ur phone” at one point during the event. We’ll keep monitoring this situation, but consider the hashtag Pyles included along with the pictures she posted to Instagram of herself and The Biebs: #blessed . To be seeing Justin Bieber naked ?
