According to a troubling new rumor, however, Jeff Bezos also believes he can do pretty much anything within the confines of a relationship… … even sleep with another woman! Based on the reporting of multiple outlets, this is the reason Bezos’ wife, Mackenzie, has filed for divorce after 25 years marriage . Bezos allegedly cheated on his better half last year with the estranged wife of another businss mogul. Such reliable insiders as E! Online, Us Weekly and, yes, even The National Enquirer allege that Bezos started seeing former Good Day L.A. co-host Lauren Sanchez about eight months ago. Sanchez is married to Patrick Whitesell, the co-CEO of major Hollywood agency WME and a good friend of the Amazon CEO. The Enquirer writes that Sanchez and Bezos would get together behind the backs of their spouses, going off on exotic trips aboard Bezos’ private jet and even exchanging lewd texts and photographs. Because the tabloid will supposedly be publishing some of these explicit messages and pictures… Bezos went ahead yesterday and announced his divorce. “We want to make people aware of a development in our lives. As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends,” the Washington Post owner said in a statement. Continued this statement: We feel incredible lucky to have found each other and deeply grateful for everyone one of the years we have been married to each other. If we had known we would separate after 25 years, we would do it all again. We’ve had such a great life together as a married couple, and we also see wonderful futures ahead, as parents, friends, partners in ventures and projects, and as individuals pursing ventures and adventures. Bezos and MacKenzie share four children: three sons and a daughter. Sanchez, meanwhile, has two kids with Whitesell and a 17-year-old son with ex-husband and former NFL star Tony Gonzalez. TMZ, meanwhile, confirms that Bezos and Sanchez are a couple. However, this celebrity gossip site reports that Sanchez and her husband are in the middle of a divorce and were separated when she started seeing the mega mogul — and that the same applies to Bezos and his soon-to-be-ex-wife. A source tells this website that Whitesell and Mackenzie have been aware of their spouses’ romantic entanglement nearly since it started. Bezos, Whitesell and Sanchez were all photographed together in 2016 at a party for the film Manchester by the Sea. And all four individuals at the center of this scandal have been friends for over a decade, with Bezos and Mackenzie often spending time at the Seattle home of Sanchez and Whitesell. Sanchez (pictured above) runs her own company called Black Ops Aviation, which is an aerial filming company. She herself is a a helicopter pilot and has worked on films such as Dunkirk and Miss Bala. The 49-year-old business owner also worked on a few videos for Blue Origin, which is Bezos’ aerospace company. Way back in 2014, there was a rumor that she might take over as a host on The View . We can also report that her relationship with Bezos is still going strong. In other news related to this split that has grabbed the nation’s attention…. Bezos is worth over $137 billion. That is not a misprint. He is the richest man in the world. Just how much of this fortune will go to Mackenzie in the divorce settlement? No one knows right now, considering the couple may have signed a prenuptial agreement and that most of Bezos’ money is tied up in Amazon stock. But Mackenzie likely will never need to work another day in her life, let’s just put it that way. The estranged husband and wife reside in Washington, a state where property is split evenly between divorcees after they go their separate ways. What would happen if she were to receive half of Bezos’ shares in Amazon? She would become the fifth richest person in the world and, by far, the richest woman in the world.
