By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber eating cheesecake Photo: Getty Images Justin Bieber turns 17 on March 1, and he’s revealing what his plans are for the big day. “I only have, like, four days, so I’m just going to relax, because I start my world tour starting on [March 4] — so just going to mentally prepare and just relax,” Justin told “Entertainment Tonight.” “No birthday bash. … Hopefully my grandparents will be out here and I’ll be able to spend time, a little bit, with them. My grandma makes the best cheesecake — cherry cheesecake. She made that for my 13th birthday.” Of course, Bieber’s birthday isn’t the only thing making headlines these days. His new haircut has also been causing quite the hoopla, but Bieber seems to be brushing it off. “I just wanted to [cut my hair], that’s all. Not really a big reason; I just woke up and said, ‘I don’t want this anymore,’ so I just cut it,” he said. “It’s not really about that. You know, the fans really liked it, but they’ll like me no matter what, because I think it’s about the music. I’m really excited to see what the fans overseas think and take it day by day.” Bieber will re-release his 3-D flick “Never Say Never” this weekend. “It’s 40 minutes of extra footage, so it’s basically like a new movie,” he says. “It’s real exciting, because it shows me and my friends more and it shows a different part of the concert, so it’s going to be great. Hopefully all the fans will go back and watch it.” Next week, in addition to his birthday, Bieber will also kick off his European tour . “I’m excited to see what [Willow Smith] brings to the table,” he said. “We start on March 4, so she’s really excited, and she told me that she can’t wait — and she’s adorable — so I can’t wait. “I have such great people around me and such good family,” he added. “I just want to be a good role model to people, and to be able to just make good music. … I’m going to make mistakes, but it’s about learning from them and becoming better. … My movie shows that anything is possible and dreams do come true. … Remember to always stay humble and always be gracious and anything can happen.” What do you think about Bieber’s new ‘do? Niecey Nash & Drake To Star In Bron Bron’s “The LeBrons” Cartoon

“The LeBrons”, the new, original animated Web series soon-to-be-launched by LeBron James through his Spring Hill Productions and Believe Entertainment Group, has announced the all-star voice cast for the show that includes actress Niecy Nash and Young Money rapper Drake. Niecy Nash, last seen on The Style Network’s home makeover show, “Clean House,” and as a celebrity correspondent for CBS’ “Entertainment Tonight” will be the voice of GLORIA, the mother figure of “The LeBrons.” Speaking on her plans to work on the basketball star’s production, Nash released a statement saying: “When I was asked to be a part of this project I jumped at the chance! I’m a fan of LeBron’s and I was interested in seeing him in a different light, not to mention the fact my arm didn’t have to be twisted to play the only woman in a male dominated world! Lindsay Lohan is clearly delusional, still snorting the yay, or just plain dumb: A day after pleading not guilty to stealing a necklace, Lindsay Lohan took to Twitter to declare she’s no thief. “i would never steal, in case people are wondering,” she wrote in a Facebook message pasted Thursday night on her Twitter page. “I was not raised to lie, cheat, or steal.” Lohan, 24, also took offense to the attention given to the tight white minidress she wore to Los Angeles Superior Court, where she appeared on a felony grand theft charge. “what i wear to court shouldnt be front page news. it’s just absurd,” she writes. As for her plans, the actress – free on $40,000 bail and recently out of court-ordered rehab in another case – says, “i just want to be on set again, and left alone to just work!” Word, Lindsay?? Camille Grammer to Kelsey: Good Luck!

Camille Grammer is officially divorced from Kelsey Grammer, and trying her hardest to come across as okay with that. Just hours after a judge make her split from the actor legal, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star released the following statement: “I have a great many mixed feelings about today. I’m sad for what was, yet excited about the road ahead. I’m grateful to my family and friends who have stood by me through this time. I will never forget their love and support. What I most hope is that Kelsey and I can improve our communications and truly co-parent our two wonderful children. And I wish Kelsey and Kayte love and happiness in their new marriage.” Interesting note: If you look closely enough at these words, you can actually see the steam coming out of Camille’s ears when she wrote them.

Ashlee Simpson filed divorce papers to end her marriage to Pete Wentz this week in a move that caught even cynical gossip readers by surprise. The split is being called amicable, but it was her call , sources say, and due in large part to a series of arguments over Pete Wentz’s music career. His commitment to touring with his band had been a sticking point between the two for some time now and finally led to Ashley filing for divorce . It was good while it lasted. [Photo: Pacific Coast News] The 26-year-old former singer was “fed up” with her husband being away from home for extended periods of time and wanted him to focus on being a dad. “Ashlee and Pete would argue constantly about him touring,” a source told Radar . “Since she gave birth to Bronx she hated him being away from home.” “She wanted him to stop the band life and work more on producing music, so he could be around to concentrate more on being a husband and father.” “She hated him being away and said she felt like a single mother.” “When Fall Out Boy went on hiatus things were great and it was just like old times, but Pete formed his new band and then he was off touring again.” “I think that Ash just finally had enough. She put all her musical aspirations to the side to concentrate on being a mom and it is a big bone of contention with her that Pete just swans off around the world with his buddies like he’s a single guy.” “They had a major fight in October before he headed off to Europe, but then tried to make a go of things over the holidays for the sake of Bronx.” “They decided to take a break to both cool off and reassess, and both realized it was bad for Bronx to be around parents fighting all the time.” “Pete is due to head off again on tour in a couple of months and I honestly think Ashlee filed for divorce as a way to shock him into canceling his plans, or at least modifying them and giving in to her demands to be with her and Bronx.” “It’s not going to work though, Pete’s not going to play that game.” “It’s a really sad situation because they do genuinely love each other, and I would pretty much swear that neither of them is seeing someone else – but they just want totally different things in life and neither one is willing to compromise.” Well, there’s your unsourced, anonymous but realistic-sounding update.

Among the topics at hand today as Robert Redford held court in Park City, Utah to open the 2011 Sundance Film Festival: The Sundance Institute’s commitment to artists, their plans for global domination, how the fest is getting with the times ( Twitter !), and of course, Kevin Smith’s Red State . Because even in a wide-ranging convo about the storied indie mecca that Redford built, Smith’s attention-grabbing, not-screening-for-press Christian homosexual murder pic had to steal the spotlight. ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Composer Doesn’t Want To ‘Just Go Over Old Ground’

By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Hans Zimmer attends the 2011 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards Photo: MTV News With the momentum from the incredible success of Christopher Nolan’s first two “Batman” films, “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight,” the mounting pressure and fan demand for details on the forthcoming “The Dark Knight Rises,” seems to increase every day. One need only glance at MTV News’ recent compilation of “Rises” rumors to see how creative people can be, as well as how thirsty fans are for answers. It’s just difficult to get them — even when we find ourselves face-to-face with credible sources — but any news is good news, even in the form of a “yes,” “no” or “maybe.” Case in point: Oscar-winning film composer Hans Zimmer, who composed the “Batman Begins” and “Dark Knight” scores and will finish up Nolan’s trilogy by composing the score for “The Dark Knight Rises.” When we caught up with Zimmer on the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards red carpet, we tried our darndest to get some “Rises” music scoop by tossing him a softball question: Has Nolan already involved Zimmer in the plans for the film? “Yes,” Zimmer said with a smile. “And that’s all I’m going to say.” So he knows the arc of the story and the villains, etc.? “Possibly,” he said. “I’m thinking, I’m working, and I can’t tell you anything more.” We pushed just a bit, asking whether his new score will incorporate themes from the first two “Batman” films and whether he’s thought about how to tie everything together. “Sure, but the thing about Chris and myself is, of course what we try to do is we treat each one with the economy it deserves,” he explained. “I try to invent and reinvent and not just go over old ground. I think that’s the thing that was so exciting for people on ‘The Dark Knight.’ They knew we were doing a ‘Batman’ movie, but they had no idea it was going to be that sort of a ‘Batman’ movie.” So is Zimmer already hard at work on the new themes for the score, even though nothing has been filmed yet? “Could be,” he teased. “Of course. Chris likes working that way, that I can give him music before he starts cutting. A.J. McLean Promises Rehab Won’t Affect NKOTBSB Tour

McLean Photo: Getty Images After confirming on Thursday (January 13) that he was entering rehab, reportedly for substance abuse issues, Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean assured fans that his treatment will not affect the band’s upcoming summer tour with the New Kids on the Block. McLean said in a statement, “For personal reasons, I’ve checked myself into a rehab clinic. With 2011 being a busy year for Backstreet, I want to be healthy and perform and sing for people at my very best and happiest. None of this will affect our current tour plans and I look forward to seeing everyone really soon!” He added, “Thank you for all of your support and respecting my family and friends privacy during this time.” NKOTBSB are set to hit the road beginning June 2 for a show at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. And the tour, as of now, is slated to run through July 30 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. McLean first hinted about his health issues this past Sunday in a few tweets . “Thank u all for my bday wishes and tweets:)! Its gonna be a great year! I love u all and wish me luck! I start my sober journey tomm! Ttfn!” he wrote on his Twitter page. A day later, he added, “Hey all wish me luck! This is gonna be an amazing year for me and all around me! I love u all and appreciate all the love and support” TMZ reported that sources close to the pop star say he has been “out of control” lately. According to those sources, McLean was under the influence during much of the Backstreet Boys’ cruise last month.
