Believe It Or Not? Chris Dorner Autopsy Report Complete And Actual Cause Of Death Confirmed

Is this really how Chris Dorner died? Chris Dorner Autopsy Report Confirms Cause Of Death The San Bernardino Police Department has announced the results of deceased ex-LAPD officer-turned-fugitive Chris Dorner’s autopsy report.  Dorner died during a police stand off earlier this week and it is being reporting that the cause of death was suicide. via ABC News Christopher Dorner, the former Los Angeles police officer who went on killing rampage appeared to have killed himself, authorities said. The autopsy showed that Dorner’s cause of death was a single gunshot to the head. “The information that we have right now seems to indicate that the wound that took Dorner’s life was self inflicted,” said Capt. Kevin Lacy of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department in a press conference Friday. Dorner, 33, was found dead after a standoff with police. The cabin where Dorner barricaded himself in went up in flames on Feb. 12. Authorities said police made “numerous PA announcements identifying [Dorner] by name, asking him to surrender,” before firing pyrotechnic tear gas inside the cabin Dorner had holed up in, causing the building to go up in flames. “We did not intentionally burn down that cabin to get Mr. Dorner out,” San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon told reporters on Feb. 13. Not too many can argue with autopsy reports….that is, if you believe that the police department is giving us the full run down. However, the fact still remains that there are more than a few unanswered questions surrounding this shoot out and eventual death of Chris Dorner that the officers involved have yet to address, like these . Makes you wonder what there is to hide, riiiiiight?

Oscar Pistorius in Court: Olympian Cries, Does Not Enter Plea on Murder Charge

Oscar Pistorius broke down in tears in a South African courtroom Friday after being charged with the premeditated murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp . The Olympic sprinter’s attorneys requested to postpone the bail hearing, as did the prosecution. He did not enter a plea and will remain in custody. In his first public response , Pistorius’s family and management team said in a statement that “the alleged murder is disputed in the strongest terms.” The statement also said Pistorius “would like to send his deepest sympathies to the family” of Reeva Steenkamp, who died at his home at age 30. Though authorities initially believed that Oscar Pistorius may have mistaken his girlfriend for an intruder, they have since downplayed that possibility. “There is no other suspect involved,” police spokeswoman Brigadier Denise Beukes told the AP, noting that several witnesses are being interviewed. Oscar Pistorius was charged with murder early Thursday. The 26-year-old athlete, a double amputee, became the first Paralymic star to run with able-bodied athletes in an Olympic games last summer in London. Reeva Steenkamp, a model and advocate for women, appeared to be in good spirits before her tragic death, tweeting about Valentine’s Day just hours earlier. “It should be a day of love for everyone,” the model wrote. Police found Steenkamp’s body in a pool of blood in Pistorius’ home in Pretoria on Valentine’s Day. She was reportedly shot four times by Pistorius. Oscar Pistorius News Report

Rob Gronkowski: Sorry for Broken Arm Partying!

Rob Gronkowski has apologized for acting like a bonehead. The Patriots tight end – who missed the end of the regular season and the playoffs with a broken forearm – was caught on video in Las Vegas last month, dancing up a storm and wrestling with a friend on the stage of a nightclub. But Gronkowski has now seen the error of his way… sort of. The All-Pro posed with a fan at Universal Studios in Orlando Sunday while donning a shirt that reads “Sorry for Partying.” With this gesture be enough for Bill Belichick? We somehow doubt it.

Christopher Dorner Case: LAPD Alert Called Off, Officials Confident Manhunt is Over

The LAPD has moved back into a “normal state of police operation” after Tuesday’s Christopher Dorner gun battle, a signal that the manhunt is over. Cops won’t officially declare Christopher Dorner dead until the tests are run on the corpse believed to be inside what is left of a burned down California cabin. Still, every indication is that Dorner was inside when the cabin went up in smoke. A rep for the police department says the city is no longer on tactical alert. Dorner met his fate following a frightening shootout in which he exchanged fire with police and barricaded himself in a remote cabin in Big Bear, Calif. The former LAPD officer is accused of killing four people, including two police officers, one of whom died yesterday during the gun battle with Dorner. Authorities are working to examine the remnants of the cabin and ID any remains before putting out an official report confirming the death of Dorner. The manhunt for the 33-year-old spanned a week and much of Southern California before apparently ending in Big Bear yesterday afternoon. Early Tuesday, two cleaning ladies at a condominium in Big Bear discovered a man they say looked like Dorner, who was rumored to be hiding there. He took them hostage, tied them up and tried to escape, stealing a pair of vehicles along the way. Now law enforcement officials are confident they got their man. Acting on reports of a carjacking, law enforcement officials quickly tracked the man accused of targeting police officers and their families in February. “The suspect that stole the vehicle matched the description. He crashed the car and then took off,” San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon said. As he barricaded himself in an empty cabin, the man believed to be Dorner fired a .50-caliber sniper rifle, shooting two deputies, killing one of them. Dorner tried to escape by throwing a smoke grenade at officers. Police also deployed smoke grenades as a screen so the wounded could be evacuated. The resort town of Big Bear had been the focus of the manhunt since last Thursday, when a burned-out truck belonging to Dorner was found in the area. Weapons, survival gear and a gas mask were also found. As media and SWAT teams descended on the town, police say Dorner hid in plain sight in an unoccupied condo across the road from their command post.

Christopher Dorner Scuba Gear Purchase: Caught on Tape

It may not reveal the whereabouts of Christopher Dorner , but – as one law enforcement source says – we now know what the alleged killer “was up to” days before he went on a killing spree last week. TMZ has uncovered surveillance from a Southern California sporting goods store that shows the ex-LAPD officer purchasing an assortment of Scuba equipment . Christopher Dorner Surveilliance Video Taken on February 1, the video depicts Dorner paying for a couple Scuba tanks and refilling them with Oxygen. He’s also laughing with the cashier. Two days after this interaction, the bodies of Dorner’s first two victims were found in Los Angeles. A $1 million reward has now been offered by police for information that leads to the arrest of Dorner, who is on the loose and who left Facebook messages that threatened both his former colleagues and their families. He believes he was unfairly fired from the police department in 2008. U.S. Marshals now have a copy of this surveillance footage, which is of interest because Dorner reportedly tried to steal a boat on February 6. But the scheme was abandoned when his prop got tangled in a rope.

3-Young Goons Arrested In Death Of 14-Year Old Paul Sampleton: Shot To Death Over Basketball Shoes In The ATL [Video]

Two 15-Year old’s and one 18-Year old boy were arrested for the shooting death of Atlanta teen, Paul Sampleton: Channel 2 Action News has learned Gwinnett County police have arrested and charged three people in connection with the murder of 14-year-old Paul Sampleton. Police believe the teen was killed over high-end sneakers. Two of the suspects are just teens themselves, but have been charged as adults. Sampleton attended Grayson High School and was a star athlete who dreamed of playing Division 1 football. Sampleton was shot multiple times inside his home on Haynescrest Court on Dec. 19. His father discovered him bound and gagged. Channel 2′s Kerry Kavanaugh has followed this story since Sampleton was killed. Since then, Channel 2 Action News has uncovered several aspects of the case, but held off on reporting as to not compromise the case at the request of detectives. Friday, for the first time, Kavanaugh sat down with all the detectives working the case to discuss what led up to the arrests. Police have charged 15-year-old Larnell Sillah with felony murder. Investigators would not elaborate on the role he played. Police said Sillah and Sampleton both attended Grayson High School. Police believe they were acquaintances, not friends. Police have also charged 15-year-old Achiel Morgan and 18-year-old Romaine Stewart with the planning of the crime. Police said definitively that the motive in the case was Sampleton’s collection of high-end sneakers. Sampleton was involved in what’s known among teenagers as the “shoe game.” He collected and traded the shoes. Friends and classmates said Sampleton was known for having one of the biggest and best collections in the game. “They were aware that he had nice things. They were aware that he traded in these high end sneakers,” said Cpl. Jake Smith with the Gwinnett County Police Department. According to a search warrant obtained by Channel 2, the day of the shooting, several pairs of high-end sneakers were stolen, including the pair Sampleton was wearing that day. Police served multiple search warrants at the same home on Farmstead Court in Grayson, not far from where Sampleton lived with his mother. Police said witnesses spotted a silver BMW in the neighborhood the day of the shooting. It was registered to a person at the Farmstead Court address. “Essentially we had a witness in the neighborhood where the homicide happened who saw the vehicle,” Smith said. Stephanie Stone, Paul’s mother, told Kavanaugh the arrests in her son’s murder won’t bring him back. But she said now she can begin to heal. “I just felt a sense of relief, a sense of euphoria. It was just like a smile had been planted on my face,” said Stone. “I am so glad that we’re on the road for closure.” Stone said her son’s death never had to happen. “It is sad that you got three young black men that are going to spend the rest of their lives behind bars, or whatever may come for them, over material things,” Stone said. As for the parents of the men that were arrested, Stone said she has no sympathy for them. “I’m not going to say that I feel bad for those parents. I’m not, because I feel bad for me. These parents are the ones raising these types of children. They’re raising them,” Stone said. The investigation continues into other suspects. Las Vegas Shooting: Three Wounded Outside Movie Theater

An shooting in a parking structure outside a Las Vegas Strip movie theater left two people critically wounded and another with a minor injury last night. Police don’t believe the shooting just after midnight was a random act, and Officer Laura Meltzer said the shooter or shooters hadn’t been identified. Las Vegas Strip Shooting She adds that earlier reports of the shooting taking place in the theater are false, and that it was more likely an ongoing conflict between two groups. “The theater had nothing to do with it,” Meltzer told The Associated Press. “They were not coming from a movie. It was not in the theater lobby.” It wasn’t immediately clear how many shooters there were, but Meltzer said multiple shots were fired in the event, the latest in a string of shootings nationally. Police arrived to find one of the most seriously wounded people in the parking structure lobby and another in an elevator car on the fifth floor of the six-story structure. Both are in critical condition at University Medical Center in Las Vegas. A third victim was found near the street in front of the elevator lobby. He was treated at the scene for an injury that Meltzer said wasn’t believed to be life-threatening. The wounded were described as males, ages currently unknown. Meltzer said investigators don’t believe the confrontation between the two groups was gang-related, but they were still trying to determine their relationship. Police and property security officers closed exits and entrances to the Showcase Mall parking structure for more than two hours while they investigated.
