Ice Cube is making a full time move to TV with his new show “Eye For An Eye.” In addition to starring in the vigilante drama series, Cube will work as the executive producer. “Eye For An Eye” will air on FX, and here’s how Deadline.com describes it: “Eye For An Eye” centers on a complex man, played by Ice Cube, who is a veteran paramedic. After too many years of leaving the scenes of violent crimes with a victim struggling to live in the back of his ambulance, he snaps and starts going eye for an eye. When his thirst for revenge proves addictive, his personal life spirals out of control as he tries to reconcile it with his newfound life as a vigilante. Cube will continue to executive produce “Are We There Yet?,” his film-turned-sitcom that airs on TBS. Since “Eye For An Eye” hasn’t gone into production, a premiere date has not yet been set. Victoria Beckham has always been stylish, but she can now add award-winning designer to her lengthy resume after the 2011 British Fashion Awards in London. Posh beat out other big names like Tom Ford, Burberry and Stella McCartney for Best Designer Brand – not a small feat in such a broad, impressive style space. “We won!! Thank u so much to my amazing VB team!!!! Designer Brand of the Year at the British Fashion awards! X VB,” the mom of four Tweeted of the win. A victorious Victoria Beckham poses with Marc Jacobs . McCartney, the famous designer daughter of Sir Paul McCartney, didn’t go home empty-handed Monday, with her label winning the coveted Red Carpet Award. People’s Court Scandal: Dale Smith Targeted By Police in Michelle Parker Disappearance

Michelle Parker and Dale Smith, a formerly engaged couple, appeared on the People’s Court earlier this month. After the show, Parker mysteriously vanished. Now Smith is in the wind as well, having just been named the primary suspect in her disappearance, according to Orlando, Fla., Police Chief Paul Rooney. Officials confirm Smith, who appeared with Michelle Parker on the show, arguing over the engagement ring he have her, is the target of the investigation. Chief Rooney says Smith refused to take a polygraph test in the case. Michelle Parker Disappearance Parker’s mother, Yvonne Stewart, made a plea during a Monday news conference: “If you could have avoided this Dale, if you had cooperated with the police and if you took a polygraph test when they asked you, you could have avoided a lot of stress.” “We’re not going to stop until we find out who did this,” she adds. Random Ridiculousness: Man Dressed As Frosty The Snowman Arrested For Getting Gully With One-Time And Kicking A Dog

Some people just don’t know how to act! Who says “Frosty the Snowman” has to be jolly? A man in a “Frosty the Snowman” costume was arrested Saturday during the annual Christmas parade in Chestertown, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. He’s accused of scuffling with police and kicking at a police dog. Sgt. John A. Dolgos tells The Star Democrat of Easton that 52-year-old Kevin Michael Walsh became agitated when a dog-handling officer tried to escort him away from the crowd. Walsh told The Associated Press that he has dressed as Frosty in the parade for at least 10 years. He says he did nothing wrong and was wrongfully arrested. He says an officer hassled him after he made a joke about the police dog’s presence at the parade. Walsh was released on personal recognizance. Poor dog. Source

Veteran actor of the stage, screen, and film, Jeffrey Wright recently was added to the cast of Broken City . The film stars Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe. Broken City is shooting in New York City and is being directed by Allen Hughes. Mark Wahlberg plays a Brooklyn cop hired by an important politician, Russell Crowe, to find out who his wife is having an affair with. Wright’s character is the police commissioner who has a complex and tense relationship with the politician. There’s no set release date as of now. Wilson Ramos: Rescued in Venezuela!

Wilson Ramos is safe and sound. The Washington Nationals catcher, who was kidnapped earlier this week at gunpoint in his native Venezuela, was discovered by local authorities yesterday and has reconciled with his family, The Washington Post reports. “It’s a special moment for his family,” Ramos’ agent, Gustavo Mercado, said in a statement to the newspaper. “We’re all happy. We’re grateful.” FBI Agent Chris Voss confirmed the incident took place due to the “money [Ramos] could produce,” while five people have been arrested for the abduction. “I don’t know who those people were,” Ramos said. “I know they’re Colombians by their accent. Three guys grabbed me there in front of my house, they took me to another SUV and from there they took me into the mountains… thanks to God, everything turned out well.” The ballplayer also thanked the police and National Guard commandos who rescued him, saying “the boys did a great job.”

Penn State Hires "Ethics Officer" to Oversee Officials

Penn State President Rodney Erickson took a new step yesterday to ensure no scandal affects his university ever again. Erickson announced the appointment of an “Ethics Officer,” telling the Penn State community via email that the goal is to “revisit all standards, policies and programs to ensure they meet not only the law, but Penn State’s standard.” No individual has been named to the position yet, but Erickson says this officer will oversee all officials and report back to him. “Never again should anyone at Penn State feel scared to do the right thing,” Erickson said, clearly referring to Joe Paterno, Mike McQueary and others associated with the football program who failed to report child abuse allegations to the police, a development that resulted in Paterno’s firing . Penn State takes the field at home today against Nebraska.
