Wow, thank God we live in the good ole U.S.A..: Dec 29′ 2011 Afghan Police rescued a teenage married girl who was kept locked-up in a toilet for six months by her in-laws in northern Baghlan province, officials said. The 15-year-old was found locked up-in the toilet after her parents informed police, the second police district chief, Col. Fazal Rahman, told Pajhwok Afghan News. Sar Gul was married to Mohammad Azim, 30, nine months ago, he said, adding the girl was locked up when she refused having sex with men brought home by her in-laws. Sara’s husband used to beat her and denied her enough food, the police official quoted the girl as saying. The girl’s mother-in-law has been arrested, but her husband managed to flee. The victim’s parents are living in Badakhshan, women affairs director, Rahima Zafari, said. She added the girl was admitted to the Pul-i-Khumri Civil Hospital with severe mental stress. Zafari demanded the criminals’ early arrest and punishment. The hospital head, Dr. Gul Mohammad Wardak, said the girl had her nails pulled out with pliers and there were burn signs on her body. He said she was in a critical condition and might be transferred to Kabul for better treatment. The authorities in the northern Baghlan province said they were aware of reports that the girl was tortured after she refused to be forced into prostitution, but could not confirm that was the case. Rahima Zarifi, director of the Women’s Affairs Department in Baghlan, said Sahar had been severely tortured, both physically and mentally, and that the psychological scars were likely to endure. “GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – Police are currently aware of the identity of only one of the victims who they say a man intentionally infected with HIV. “He’s charming,” the alleged victim — who didn’t want to be identified — said of suspect David Smith, “He’s very charming.” Smith, 51, was arrested last week after he went to police. Authorities said Smith told them that he intentionally had sex with as many people as he could over the past three years. He said his plan was to infect them with HIV, which was meant to kill them, court records show. The victim 24 Hour News 8 spoke with is the only victim that Smith has been charged with infecting so far. “
Jesus take the wheel ! A mother has been arrested after attempting to sell her eight year old daughter for sex just four days before Christmas. Sue Ellen Mims is alleged to have said she would accept $100 for allowing an unknown man to have sex with her daughter. The 33-year-old had approached a man near her home in Panama City, Florida, offering her daughter for sale for sex. The man contacted police and said Mimms had told him the girl would do anything he wanted. Mims was arrested a short time later and her daughter taken into care before being placed with other family members. The man told police he does not know Mims or her daughter and was approached at 10am. Panama City Police Sergeant Jeff Becker said he has never seen anything like this in the 12 years he’s worked in Panama City. ‘It’s disturbing some of my grandchildren are daughters and I can’t even imagine where you must be in live to want to sell your children I can’t even imagine,’ Becker said. After details of Mims arrest was revealed on the local news families in Panama City have contacted the Department of Children and Families to offer their help. A spokesman with DCF said the girl was taken with just the clothes she was wearing and are accepting Christmas gifts. Mims is being held in jail on one count of Selling A Minor For Prostitution. SMH… Whatever drugs she must be on, she needs serious help. Poor baby. There are some terrible parents out there y’all. Perhaps the folks in this guy’s family need to hit up A&E’s Intervention: A Norfolk man turned up drunk for his sentencing in Madison County district court here, registering a blood-alcohol content of four times the legal limit. Daniel E. Harris, 46, was wheeled into the courtroom in a special chair with soft restraints around his hands and feet that resembled seatbelts. He was unconscious but breathing at that time. Kube said Harris had slipped and fallen in the courthouse parking lot. The Madison County sheriff’s office was able to administer a preliminary breath test before he passed out. The breathalyzer level indicated was .323. Legal intoxication is .08. Madison County sheriff’s office deputies were monitoring Harris closely during the short time he was in the courtroom. Judge James Kube ordered Harris be transported by ambulance to Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk so he could be medically evaluated. A Madison County sheriff’s office deputy was to escort him there. In the event that Harris wasn’t taken into emergency protective custody, his bond was revoked and he would then be detained at the Madison County jail. Kube ordered Harris’ sentencing on his conviction of driving under the influence of alcohol (.15 grams or more)-third offense be continued until Monday. In that case, officers had pulled him over for a stop sign violation and noticed Harris’ slurred speech and hazy eyes. According to the police report, Harris was having a tough time standing up and walking. His blood-alcohol content tested at that time reached .315. Sounds like this guy needs to be taken to rehab PRONTO!!! SMH. Source
Talk about a clusterfawk… An abusive hubby with murder on the mind took the old cliché ‘if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again,’ to a violent level – and now he’s paying for it. Richard Boyd tied to persuade his handyman to kill his wife – and then asked another man to kill the pair of them when the handyman refused. Elizabeth Aaron, of Rockville, Maryland, said her husband Boyd’s history of abuse began shortly after their wedding in 2001. The brutality continued for several years, often leaving Miss Aaron bruised and battered. Beating his wife is bad enough but what Boyd cooked up next was downright evil… While they were separated, Boyd formulated a plan to make his wife pay. He called up his handyman, whom he also sold drugs to, and asked him to kill his wife – or find someone who could – for $10,000 and some Oxycontin pills. Instead of carrying out the plot, however, the handyman went to the police, and helped set up a sting operation that led to Boyd’s arrest. Boyd was arrested and charged with one count of solicitation of murder and one count of distribution of a controlled substance. While questioned, Boyd swore up and down that he had nothing to do with a murder-for-hire plot targeting his wife. But as he awaited his day in court, he arranged another hit on Miss Aaron, this time asking a fellow inmate to kill her – AND the double-crossing handyman. Under normal circumstances, Boyd would have spent four to nine years in jail, but after he planned a second heinous plot, the judge decided to throw the book at him. Boyd was slapped with a life sentence with a minimum of 20 years in jail. What an a$$hole this guy is…SMH Source
